I have stayed here many times to through the years. This time it was disappointing because everything was closed. The bar, the gondola, basically the whole resort. I wish when I booked it would have specified those things because I could have stayed closer to town.

This place was great to stay at. Beds and pilows were extremely comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and we had a pretty view. The only thing that they could do is update the bathrooms. Even though it was dated, the bathroom was very clean.

The Vintage Hotel rooms need to be remodeled and upgraded. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which is the most important thing, however the carpet, walls, kitchen and bathrooms are all very old. We got a room with a fireplace, and it didn't work which was such a disappointment for me because that is main reason why I picked that particular room. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located right next to a small 2.5-minute gondola ride that can transport you free to the village square next to the hotel which is very nice and convenient.

I have stayed here a few times to ride trestle bike park. It’s much better than Zephyr or Fraser crossing because they encourage residents to bring their bikes in for safety from theft and they also are very pet friendly. (My dog goes with me anywhere I go, on all Adventures) But they are very seriously about their 10am sharp, you must have checked out and their property could use some maintenance. I have also stayed at more expensive properties like A-Feame club & Gravity Haus to ride trestle bike park. Those are nicer, but not as good of a value. I visit trestle bike park a few times a summer to ride and I live at the base of another resort in Colorado.
Overall, I have returned to the vintage for its value. Not always when I want a nicer experience. It’s a confident option that is bike friend to and most importantly, pet friendly. they want you checked out but 10 no exceptions more than I have ever seen before but hey, I’m there to ride bike and have my dog with me. I do recommend for the area price/value.

The room was clean, but a bit rundown. The room got a little warm and even with the window open and fan on it was a touch on the warm side for the time of the year it was. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and love the fact that our dog could be with us. The goodie bag for her was a nice touch as well. We would stay again.

Right next to the cabriolet gondola, so free scenic ride into/out of the resort Village. The Lift shuttle drops at hotel, mountain village and goes to the main town, which is 5 minutes by car. Lots of woodland trails connecting hotel to Village and leading directly across route 40 from the hotel into deep wilderness. In shoulder season it’s quiet/bargain. The hotel doesn’t have AC so room was too warm after sunny days, but box fan and open window made it tolerable, cool after nightfall. No on demand movies, only basic cable, but we were there for the mountains and pool/hot tub so not a big deal.

This room was perfect. It had all the conveniences, as well as a full size coffee pot, all the dishes and pans you need, and more. We were able to get a loft with 2 queens and a pull out, which allowed us to accommodate teenage kids. We will stay again.

I travel to winter park often from another mountain town I live in because Trestle bike park is top 3 in North America. This was my 2nd of 3 trips each year to bike there. Thai was my first stay at this hotel and it was much better than most more expensive places I have stayed with one exception. No a/c and very hot. Sweaty nights sleep. I tried for hours (and it did help) to have the windows open. But it was much nicer than a place I stayed at two weeks ago.

Over all it was fine. I wish the unit had AC because it was very hot and almost impossible to cool it down even with the box fans and window open at night. Also the photos need to be updated because the second bed was a Murphy bed and wasn’t another queen as shown in the room photos when selected.

We loved our specious lofted room but it was unbelievably hot to sleep since property doesn’t have AC. Barely got couple hours of sleep. We will try this hotel at winter time because they have amazing pet policy but avoid in the summer time for sure. Everything was super clean and staff was great.

The loft space was a perfect size for our family. We loved the pool and hot tub (however there were no pool towels and none arrived after Us and another family asked for some)

The property is definitely well used/well loved. Could use a bit of an update. However i would say it was priced accordingly to its furnishings.

I loved how close it was to shopps, dinning, hiking and activities

Overall we would stay again.

The downside to being an older mountain property is that there is no AC. Not a huge deal with the windows and fans. However the large box fans were so extremely loud, it made sleeping difficult. You have to run the fans to be comfortable qnd not sweaty. Adding in a quiter room fan would be beneficial to a restful nights sleep.

This property was not the first in mind, we had plans elsewhere that turned south really fast. They person working the front desk was super helpful in finding us a stay considering it was about 1030PM. they were welcome and friendly with our dogs and gave them a goodie bag. Great hotel and great staff.

Property is okay. Staff is great and very friendly. Rooms are “average” and clean which is nice. Linens and beds were clean and comfortable.

No AC and had to rely on windows, which were broken and didn’t work right. Window screens were in terrible shape - did nothing to keep out bugs. Outside needs LOTS of maintenance. Hot tub had missing tiles everywhere. But, at least it was indeed clean. Just feels neglected. Could be VERY NICE if it’s was kept up.

It was a very tired a hotel. . It showed a lot of wear and tear. Our room was not properly cleaned or vacuumed and the cleaning staff had left by the time we checked in so she gave me a vacuum so I could vacuum the room myself. Tiles missing on the Jacuzzi, the entire hotel looked like it was ready for a remodel or big face lift. I would NOT stay here again

We ended up sleeping on the fold out couch instead(which was quite comfortable) but we did have to find the bedding and make it up ourselves since it was after midnight when we decided we just could NOT sleep on the regular bed.

We enjoyed our room and are glad we opted for the one with the loft bedroom. It was very large and comfortable. Things that need impromenent are updates to the bathroom, Fireplace didn't work, the lounge wasn't open, there was no cleaning service between nights. Some of the staff wasn't friendly (but some of the staff were friendly).
