I didn’t enjoy my stay because I didn’t stay. I booked the room and called less than 8 hours later with a death in my family and your front desk told me I could cancel the reservation with Expedia that all they had to do was reach it and you would accept the cancellation and when Expedia did you denied it.

The room was clean, smelled fresh, clean sheets. The bathroom was ok, but dated. The AC unit was filthy, filters were completely plugged up. Pulled and washed them out in the shower. Most of the outlets were broken. Only a couple worked. The desk clerk was on her first day. Painfully slow, but pleasant. The restaurant was closed, which was the feature we were most excited about. Not planning on coming back here.

The staff was 10 out of 10! Cory was amazing and I just adore him, he's the front desk supervisor! The lady that checked us in was amazing as well but I didn't get her name! Laundry on site and it takes a card instead of quarters which was super convenient! Very large pool! The hotel is a little older but she's got a lot of life in her! The views was 10 out of 10! Beautiful city!

For our anniversary my wife and i decided to drive to Covington and spend the night where we first stayed on our honeymoon. When we pulled up to the front door the car was surrounded by transients, all smoking and nothing about it felt right or safe. I walked into the lobby and the smell of smoke was so strong, I could hardly breathe. The man who checked us in, (wearing a heavy linked chain with a lock around his neck) was very kind, but again, it was nowhere near the atmosphere we remembered and that motivated us to drive 6 hours to stay at.

I figured since I had prepaid for the night, once we got to the room we could get through one night. The elevator smelled the same as the lobby and when we reached our room, saw the door was propped open. I pushed the door open unsure of what I would find. The smell of smoke was so strong in the room I couldn’t breathe and I knew we couldn’t stay.

Went back to the desk and explained the situation, gave my key back, lost the price of the room, drove to another city, paid for another room.

I have traveled as part of my job for most of my life. I can take a room that’s sub par but for the first time in my life, felt afraid and unsafe.

A lesson I will never have to learn again. From now on, I stick with hotel chains I know.

Where should I even begin…
The hotel looks nothing like the pictures online—it’s very outdated. Right when you walk into the lobby, you can see cracks in the ceiling. The elevators feel unsafe, with shaky movement and broken buttons.
That was just the start of our three-night stay.
When we got to our room on the 11th floor, the noise was constant. The beds appeared to be made with clean sheets at first glance; however, upon closer inspection, we found a toenail in the bed, which was extremely concerning and unhygienic. We then opened the bathroom door where we were greeted by an unexpected “guest”—a roach (see picture). To make matters worse, when I grabbed the toilet paper, there was what appeared to be feces already on it.
I immediately went to the front desk, showed them photos, and spoke with the manager. After contacting the regional manager, they offered $25 off per night and moved us to a different room.
Room #2 was no better—actually worse. It was even louder, the toilet was wobbly, the shower had rust stains, lamps didn’t work, and the nightstand outlets were unusable.
Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. The photos online are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel. At checkout, I was only refunded $50. The front desk manager claimed the $25 discount was only for two nights, not all three. At that point, I didn’t feel like arguing further. Unfortunately, since I booked through a third party, I couldn’t get a full refund.

No room utensils, AC unit power supply cable out in the open and for some reason spliced together and capped with wire nuts. floor trim was very poor and looked beat all to hell, cables everywhere behind entertainment center not a single bit of cable management.

There were people getting high in the parking lot, the basement garage, and vaping pot in the lobby, elevator smelled of pot. There were bugs running around on the ground. The were people using in teh lobby for goodness sakes. While in line the place smelled of so much pot, the elevator was so gross, and the conditions were scary that my wife and i left the hotel before seeing the room. I asked for a refund in the messaging system. As we left we were so disturbed.

Front desk lady was very rude. Roaches were everywhere there was dead ones all over ground and live ones crawling all over the walls. We went to tell them we were leaving she said we can get a refund which got declined. Went back down in the morning to speak to a manger finally got refund approved..Manager was very nice.

The Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront is a nice, comfortable hotel with clean rooms and good overall presentation. The property itself is well-kept and suitable for business or short stays.

That said, there are a few things guests should be aware of. In addition to the standard incidental hold (around $50), self-parking is an extra $10 per day, and valet service is not available. There are also occasional homeless individuals asking for money in the parking lot area, which may be uncomfortable for some guests.

The revolving restaurant is only open on select days, so don’t plan on it being available daily for breakfast or dinner. For meals, you’ll likely need to leave the property and visit nearby fast-food or casual options such as Burger King, White Castle, McDonald’s, or Chipotle.

This location is not downtown Cincinnati, and amenities differ from properties like The Blu Hotel Blue Ash (Ascend Collection), which offers a stronger breakfast experience. Overall, it’s a solid stay if you know what to expect and plan accordingly.

1 hour before checking in I contacted the hotel to see if the fixed the cold water issue with the pool. I was assured the pool heater was fixed and nothing to worry about. When I arrived I noticed the pool was closed and would hopefully open sometime that night. If they were just refilling the water the staff agreed it would ice cold. The hotel denied my request for a refund.

We were told we could have a late checkout. At 11 someone knocked once and bust through the door. When I called the front desk whoever I spoke to was rude and said that the person that told me that should have told me its a $50 charge. Than after we hurridly checked out went diwn stairs and the supervisor said thats not true.

If you need a bed to sleep in, the room itself was dated but otherwise clean.If your going for the amenities (including the rotating restaurant) it was awful. We checked in fine, staff were pleasant. Elevator was scary. Had reservations at eighteen for 7:45 but were told that our table wasnt available for another hour due to lack of availability (even though the restaurant was nearly empty). Finally got appetizers were great but it took another hour to place an order for dinner and then another hour to get served. It was also FREEZING in the restaurant so much so that we had to go back to the room to get our coats and a blanket. My son ended up falling asleep at the table in his coat waiting for food. Not to mention they were out of several main courses so we all had to figure out other things to order from an already limited menu. Food itself was cold when we got it. The server was apologetic for the delays, and it was clearly a staffing issue. We didnt get back to our room till eleven at night. Fast forward to the morning and my husband took our son to the pool and was swimming in the water and found a broken swimming pool light underwater with a cord exposed. He had to yell at our son to get out of the water. Thank god he didnt get electrocuted. There were also no clean towels available so they had to go back to the room sopping wet.Will not be going back.

I believe we stayed in a room that was "renovated", but the updates were juat okay. They had painted and put in a new floor and lighting. The bathroom reminded us of a standard apartment type.The hallway wasn't updated andnwas very dim. I guess you get what you pay for considering the room was $100 a night.
