A special mention goes to Isaque, the young man at the restaurant—he was truly exceptional. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood , which is definitely a plus. However, the room was quite dated, with old furniture and fixtures. It’s clear that it’s in need of a makeover to bring it up to modern standards. Overall, an okay stay, but the room could use some updating.

The reception service is excellent. The staff is so professional, knowledgeable & also able to understand the needs of the customer.
The only main reason for not giving the perfect 5 stars is that while there is nothing wrong on the housekeeping. Nonetheless it is less on mark compared to the reception.

The Hotel is very clean, spacious, the staff is extremely forthcoming, nice and efficient.

I loved the location, with many dining options on a walking distance.

Breakfast is good.

The bathtub is a bit small, the only thing that I would note that needs some improvement, if possible.

We chose the George V because it was close to where our family lived, so it was easy to get back and forth. We were happy with everything about the hotel: large room with kitchenette, excellent restaurant, good workout space, and very nice outdoor pool with a shady patio to sit outside. The service was excellent. We'll definitely stay there again.

A brief stay at Sao Paolo

Very good stay at this hotel with very friendly staff and a great, spacious room. The hotel was a good 2km away from the metro so the only transport is with Uber. The area is good but not as good as Jardins in terms of shops etc.

This was an amazing hotel from checkin to checkout. The staff is friendly and willing to help in any way. The only complaint I have is, I suffered from food poisoning after drinking milk from their continental breakfast. My travel partner and I had all the same foods and drinks except the milk and they were fine.

The TVs never worked, not signal, I reported everyday and when I was back at night was not working. The air conditional usually stop working around 2 AM, it got very hot. The windows are not noise prove, you can hear the cars driving by.

Despite COVID-19, the hotel staff did everything including making reservations for me checking on transportation and even ordered my food several times from local places because I could not translate! The best choice close to Vila Madalena/Pinheiros

This hotel is 100% suite hotel with large and very well equipped and designed rooms. A really home away from home. The breakfast is excellent. There is also a very good executive lunch buffet for a ridiculous price. The only small negative thing is the poor quality of the room service food (which is difficult to understand according to the above).

Nice place that'll do -- unless you need ironing

No ironing boards or iron in room. Room service food choices are forgettable. Hotel Management was accommodating in moving me to a quieter room, which was nice. Laundry service was delivered a day late (I had to call to check what happened to it). Check-in and check-out process was smooth. This is a mixed residence / hotel spot. Easy to get Uber from. Some great Spas in the area. But would not recommend for anyone wanting to match the experiences of more established chains. The room sizes were very nice! The shower very hot. But amenities and services was okay. Bell-men were fantastic, though.

BEWARE! THEY TRIED TO OVERCHARGE ME. TWICE!

Already written a not-too-good review based on my experience with this hotel. But now it turns out that they overcharged me $120. Why? Because I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and did an early check-in, so they charged me for an additional night. I actually corresponded with Fernando from the hotel a few times a couple of days before my arrival to ask if I will be able to get my room earlier than 3pm. Obviously my point was to get it earlier without a charge. To get it with a full night charge I don't need to ask anything - I just book another night. But it turns out that they actually charged me these extra $120 for a full night cost for the few hours I got my room earlier. I just corresponded with Fernando again to request to refund the charge and they will not! It's been long years since I had such a bad a cheating experience in a business travel hotel.

Good rooms but too noisy (and tried to overcharge)

Stayed 3 nights on a business trip. Room is spacious and comfortable, with large and comfortable bed.
My low review is due to 2 reasons:
1. Very noisy room, despite my explicit request ahead of time.
2. There was an attempt to charge me for stuff from the mini-bar, which I absolutely didn't use.

Although I specifically asked for a quiet room when making the reservation, I got a room on the 1st floor facing the street - actually a busy junction. Very loud traffic noise starting around 6:30-7am. Furthermore, when I checked-in, I explicitly asked again if the room I got is a quiet one (after hundreds of busy travels, I am very sensitive to this issue) and the front desk man said that it is a quiet room. When I came down the next morning to complain and ask to be transferred, they said they don't have available rooms. Very disappointing - I had 2 more nights to stay there.

When I checked out, I got the total bill and noticed the mini-bar charge is much above my use. I only used one water bottle. I asked for details, and they told me I'm charged for 2 bottle of water, code, and Pringles. I was really not happy about this attempt, and they went to the back to get approval to remove those extra charges from my bill. Regardless, a hotel that employs people who steal minibar food - and the guests eventually almost get charged for - is not in the list of hotels I would normally visit.

Stayed only for 2 nights. Have stayed here on 3 previous occasions with no problems.
This stay the staff were not as friendly and the breakfast was very poor, no bread to make toast and fruit was scarce. Also the staff were very slow to top up the breakfast buffet. Rooms where clean and comfortable.

I love this hotel - wouldn´t stay anywhere else in Sao Paulo. It´s highly efficient but really friendly, and the suites are comfortable when you need to spend a whole day working in your room. Only downside is having to pay extra for internet and only having one thing connected at a time.

The room was better and cheaper than any beach town hotel i stayed in during my two week trip during the world cup. Of course Sao Paulo has a lot of hotel to choose from but it was a good hotel never the less. Hotel staff was very friendly but definitely didn't know the area that well. Additionally, whenever they called a taxi for us it ended up being a lot more expensive than the taxi back to the hotel. I didn't feel comfortable about that happening every single time. it definitely felt like we were being taken advantage of.

This is a great base for a business trip. Very nice suites, clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast and kitchen facilities. Wifi can be patchy and not cheap, but that's not uncommon in Brazil. Taxis are easy - the hotel will find them for you and explain where you want to go, which is great for non-Portuguese speakers.

Good choice for business or leisure

Very well maintained property, you can tell it's not new but still one of the best places I stayed in Sao Paulo. Large room with divided into a living room, bedroom and small kitchen. Bathroom is large for brazilian hotel standards and has both shower and tub. Breakfast is decent with a good selection of fruits and cold cuts. It's situated very near an area full of restaurants, but I did not venture much walking around at night, it does not have much people walking the area, it feels more suburbs even though it's centrally located. Overall a great place to relax after a chaotic day in traffic in Sao Paulo.

We are very demanding and do not usually rate hotels very well. We just got back from a 20 days long stay. The rooms are extremely comfortable for a family of four, the restaurant is great and the best of everything is the courteous staff that makes all effort and goes the extra mile to please the guests. The location is also very convenient for both business and leisure. We will return.

This is my second time in this hotel. The rooms are much bigger compared with other hotels similarly priced (if you book time in advance). The hotel seems new and the people at the front desk did go the extra mile. The hotel is small but that seems as an advantage. I will definitely go there on my following trips to São Paulo.
