We did not have a hot tub. The hotel office was under reconstruction, was not clear on where to go to check in. I reached the make-shift receptionist area and the lady at the front desk was not very polite or welcoming. I felt like I was a burden for being in her presence. I smiled and she just looked past me. The parking was impossible as I had to let the front desk know that I parked in one of the charging stations, as the garage was full(I do not own a EV), and I paid to park every night of my stay. We come to the Promenade every year for our anniversary; however, after this last stay, I think we will be looking for another hotel.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite, it has 2 bathrooms, a kitchen (no oven) and a big ocean view balcony. Room was nice and clean, staff is super friendly and the prices are great for being right across from the beach. We came back a few times per year, love the area.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. However, this time it was under major construction and no one mentioned anything including Expedia. Parking is always a challenge and their Lost and Found should just be called lost. Likely will look for alternatives next year.

The location is great the the hotel is cute. We stayed in the jetted tub suite. The suite itself was very nice. The kitchen was decently stocked with most of what you'd need to cook stovetop meals. It would have been nice to have a second frying pan, and maybe a salad spinner, but overall no complaints.

The view is terrific of the ocean, and the area as I said before is excellent. The bedroom with the tub was very nice and the tub was great.

There were a few defects in the suite.

1. Chromecast on living room TV didn't work
2. A single power outlet in the bedroom was broken
3. Livingroom fireplace didn't work, but the bedroom one did.
4. Livingroom lamp didn't light

Now for the worse part. THE TRAINS! The hotel is about 100 feet from the train tracks that run along the waterline. The trains run all day and all night every couple of hours. They can take as long as 5 minutes to go by and everytime one comes the gate alarm for the train goes off (it's very loud) and the noise of the trains is also very loud. If you are a light sleeper this will cause you grief. If it wasn't for the trains I'd give it a 4.5/5 as staff is nice, room was great despite minor problems, and location is too die for. Also keep in mind we the taxes included parking is almost $30 a day. Something to factor into the budget.

Would we stay there again?

Maybe.. the only thing that would give me hesitation would be the trains.

Checked-in to this hotel, when booking the photos showed ocean view but was told that the room is in back with garden view. I was given the option to upgrade to ocean view room but I declined. I went in the room and noticed the room was very small, I had to use the toilet and within 10 mins I called and asked to get an upgrade because there was a concrete sidewalk right outside the room and when people roll their suitcase it makes a loud noise like a train going by.

Staff member came into the room to inspect and said someone used the toilet and that they can’t upgrade the room for us with additional fee of course.

I was woken up just after 7am with the noise of suitcases rolling on concrete as people are starting to check out I believe. This was going on random times from 7 to 11 am and I could not get my sleep in as I had late checkout requested previously.

Room was clean but there was construction going on in the building hallways going from elevator to our room.

I don’t remember my room# but it’s out to the back of building through the main building. I don’t recommend this room because of the noise unless you’re checking out super early.

Our room was dirty. My wife found an old fake nail beside the bed and the lights in the bathroom were taken from a horror movie the way they flickered on and off. When I showed the front desk the picture of the old nail the last basically laughed it off and said \"Sir you got a very good deal on this room\". Not the point... I've stayed at better properties for less and the staff were actually accountable.

They were doing renovations which was annoying to deal with, but it will likely be worth it in the end. I didn't enjoy not being able to use the stairs at all, which made the elevator wait times extra long sometimes.

We booked a 1 bedroom king suite, with ocean view and jetted tub. The room did not disappoint - it was huge, very clean and the views could not have been better, Although the weather didn't co-operate, the large balcony was well equipped and would have been a very enjoyable place to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

It was not a restful stay to say the least. Unfortunately the doors to the rooms are heavy and incredibly loud and slam shut. There was a large group staying in the hotel at the time I was there and coming in late and leaving early in the morning. There is also only 1 elevator and construction blocking the stairs making them inaccessible. So there were ridiculously long waits for the elevator. No signage at time of booking that the hotel is under massive Reno’s. I’ve stayed here before and this was so disappointing and took away from me mini stay cation for a selfcare recharge night in a hotel.

Recently spent for 4 nights at the Ocean Promenade. Bed was comfy, staff were very friendly, hotel and suite was very clean and well equipped. Great location (close to the pier and restaurants but at the same time far away from the hustle and bustle of the area). Will definitely stay there again when we’re visiting our son in the area.

1-Hotel is under renovations. No mention on any booking site. Lobby is in the conference room, bottom stair access blocked off.
2-$350 security deposit and $23 for parking. No mention until receiving your check in instructions.
3-Train. My Cousin Vinny train every 45-60 minutes outside the window until we finally fell asleep at 2am. Ding-ding. I would want other patrons to know that.
May seem like a total 180, but the room itself was excellent, view and spa tub excellent. Staff very nice.

The room and view was great. The staff was good. Couple things to note one they’re in the middle of a renovation. It was very hard to get in and out of the fridge and there’s no place to put toiletries on in a huge bathroom. It’s almost like a pedestal sink. Would go back.

Great stay. The location is safe and amazing right by water. Rooms were very clean and very nice. Bed was very comfortable. They have the movie Channel which is a plus. Walls are a little thin but worth it for the location. You do have to pay for parking but there is free st parking after a certain time. Would stay again.

Second time staying here for my child’s swim meet at the Grandview Heights Aquatic Center. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable, with really nice views. The beach is close by and great for a relaxing walk. We’d definitely come back again.

The room had a well-appointed kitchen and I was thrilled that I could toast my bagel. The room was very clean. The fireplace did not appear to work despite trying several buttons but it wasn’t imperative that it be on. It would have been a nice touch had the fireplace been working. It was relatively quiet with the exception of the late arrival next door where the guest was speaking loudly in his phone in the hallway for several minutes. Great location and friendly staff.

The room was beautiful. The hallways appeared to be under construction which was not noted in our booking, and not at all reflected in the price. The \"front desk\" was some pop up tables with some table cloths on top. It looked very junky and unprofessional. The parking garage is a nightmare, especially with a pickup truck
