Young man at the front desk was very warm and friendly.
However, we picked this hotel because it had free breakfast and a hot tub. The hot tub was cold and nothing was done when we asked for it to be turned up, the breakfast was meh and every time we went down for food there was a lot of things that were run out. They did not keep it up very well.
When paying $300 a night for a tiny room, I expect the amenities to be as posted. It was a little disappointing.

Staff is friendly, room was clean but dated, was offered a free upgrade from king room to a suite. Of course I said yes but we regret it as it was a queen bed suite and also was located directly behind the check-in desk. And directly across from the public bathroom and coffee station. I think we would have been much happier with our original booking. Also tv system was really complicated and took a long time and alot of frustration to get any kind of show on. Need to seriously simplify that system or have instructions on how to watch a show. Also the complimentary breakfast was not good . Everything was undercooked and the eggs were hard boiled only and were dumped out of a bag. By far the worst breakfast ive ever had at a best western or any hotel ever.

The room was clean. The coffee machine was not straight forward and the staff even acknowledged that I wasn’t the first person to bring this to their attention and they still haven’t printed better instructions to fix this issue. There is a 3 cm gap below the door to the hallway that leaves a lot of light in which can affect one’s sleep.
The breakfast buffet is all junk food. Not anything like what other reviews says. If you eat junk food you will be ok with it, if you like to eat healthy, it won’t meet your expectations.

We stayed 2 nights here, and on the first moght discovered the pool was taken over by swimming lessons with kids of people who werent guests in the hotel.. this went on almost until pool closed on the friday. When we asked front desk about it, at first tried to deny it was happening and then after i stated we couldnt get into the pool because of them he said \"oh they will be done in 15 minutes\" .. why not let your hotel guests know thst the pool is occupied for almost the entire friday evening when checking in? The next evening we went into the hottub and there were various floaties of lint and hair... gross, but manageable with a shower afterwards. But the biggest health issue came the next morning when we went to use the ice bucket and discovered a dirty used cxndxm with tissue crumpled up inside of it. This left us feeling very dirty and unsure of how clean bed sheets/etc were. When i told front desk and spoke to manager both of them just apologized for the 'inconvenience\" and said there was nothing they could do. I asked for refund and they refused to do. He even argued with me that he can 'assure me' that the rooms are clean.. even after i told him what we found and expressed how dirty/gross/disgusted we felt.

This is a typical Best Western. We didn't have a vehicle so were limited to either Subway or A&W if we were looking for a bite to eat. But honestly in all the hotels we have stayed in, hands down, the beds were the absolute worst we have ever slept on. I mean awful. :( Nice to have breakfast included but the hot foods were barely cooked. The hashbrowns and the sausages were warm but barely palatable. The selection of other items, muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc was good though. On the upside - the staff was very friendly. Shout out in particular to the front desk guy (forgot to get his name) when we were in need of an umbrella to attend an outdoor event. He said the hotel didn't have any to lend out but he kindly offered his own personal umbrella for us to use for the day. We were grateful for this offer on a rainy lower mainland day!

The bed was not clean. The sheets were definitely not changed as there was black lint on beds everywhere. First we thought they were bed bugs but it was lint. The location is also not walking distance to anything very specific. If you are claustrophobic don’t go coz windows are all sealed. No chance for fresh air. The smell was awful from room until we turned the fan on. It got very hot and humid in the middle of the night as heat was on but we had only fan on.

We made a reservation months in advance for a pet-friendlt room, and when we showed up they told us they had no pet friendly rooms available. We were told we couldn't leave our pet alone in the only room they could provide, and it made our weekend a lot harder to navigate. It would be appreciated if hotels would check bookings ahead of time and inform clients if their requests can't be filled. It would be nice if this happened before you show for your room.

Night shift front staff was nice but dayshift one was rude. The room was very basic with no decor and all white lighting. Feels like a medical clinic. Sheets were stained. Parking was a nightmare with insufficient room to maneuver. We paid $800 total for 3 nights which is overpriced for this place. We will never stay there again.

1. Food served for breakfast everyday remained the same, not fresh, just heat up from the freezer to their food-warmer, hard boiled eggs were from fridge ( we can tell because they are really hard and old).
2. We arrived in our assigned room, we noticed old toilet papers (never changed into new ones), the floor had dirty tissue paper on the side of the toilet.
3. The photos of the rooms posted in the website are different from physical room.
4. Housekeeping staff who was to clean our room was not considerate and considered rude for what she did. She knows we were leaving so she stood outside and wait for us outside our room while we we were still packing and putting some stuff in to our car. That was 2 hours earlier than our check-out time at 11. She was right outside our door waiting. She should not be doing that because when one of my family member went out of the door, she was right there looking at the door and one of my family member inside was nude, just came out of shower and felt embarrassed when he saw the staff waiting outside with her cleaning cart. It was very disgusting and disappointing how this staff could stand there not even time for us to leave because it was too early still. We were not happy about it for we felt like rushed and pressured it leave. We left the room 2 hours earlier. She was the cleaner on Thursday,Aug 28 at supposedly 11am (our check-out time). Hope she will be reprimanded or reminded about respect and good customer service.

We stayed here for 3 nights and I have lots to say. It wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped for. For the price, we could’ve stayed at a better rating hotel. The sheets are not as clean, there’s hair everywhere and it is not as tightly put on the bed, like it look like the sheets were not fresh. Secondly, housekeepers basically rushes you out of your room. Day 2, housekeeper knocked in our room just before 11am and said she has to clean now coz it’s her last room for the day and it has to be done before she leaves. I couldn’t leave my room yet for the day coz I was still working, so our room was not clean med for the day and she just handed me new towels and ask me for my garbage can for her to change it. Check out day - we did ask for late check out and they knocked, when we said we are still in the room, of course they opened the door anyways while I was still getting ready. Lastly, came with my kids so they can enjoy swimming at the pool but there were constant swimming lessons day and night which is a little disappointing coz honestly, guests using the hot tubs can’t relax due to noise. Guests cannot enjoy the pool coz the instructors literally ask you if you can move aside coz they need the space for their lessons. You have no choice but to comply. We appreciate the front desk’s apology but this is an inconvenience that can be avoided or eliminated for future guests. Hopefully they do something about it.

The room was clean, with nice white bed spreads, and every amenity you might need. Our room was carpeted. i saw other rooms had been updated with laminate. Generous with pillows, however all thick, not a variety for different sleeping needs.
Air system worked well. Shower head had different settings.

Our stay included breakfast (however the night staff neglected to tell us where and when to find breakfast so we missed it - apparently it's in the basement. Our check-in staff also neglected to tell us there was a swimming pool).

Room had a strong order of pets and there were dirty linens on the bed. No housekeeping was available. Couldn’t move us to another room the same as the one we paid for due to no availability did bring a sheets to change ourselves as there was no housekeeping on duty. Had a minor incident with third-party guests using the hotel swimming pool overall this location didn’t make us feel secure as the hotel books out third-party people to do swimming lessons in their swimming pool not very secure for guest staying at the hotel and paying for the facilities otherwise the hotel front staff were great try to be accommodating.

Most disappointing was the pool and the constant swim lessons being held at the facility. The pool was rented out from 3-8pm daily for children swim lessons so it was very inconvenient for my use at that time. The gym, sauna, jacuzzi were clean & well maintained. Breakfast room was excellent. Food choices excellent. My room very spacious & well appointed

When staying for several days the breakfast has no variety outside of the boiled eggs and sausage for protein offerings so that is a bit tiresome . Management level thing, staff was great however. Facility did not carry any weights in the gym but does have a sauna !

Disappointing and overpriced

Disappointing overnight stay.

Selected this hotel over similarly priced options due to the pool/hot tub amenities only to find out that the hot tub was out of order. This was not communicated either through the booking page or at check-in as we would have selected another hotel had we known.

Then the internet went out (not their fault as it was an outage that affected the local area) but it meant the TV also didn’t work for the majority of our stay.

All this on its own isn’t that big a deal but paying nearly $300 for essentially a room with two squeaky beds is a little hard to swallow. I asked for a discount on checkout but was told no as it wasn’t their fault that the amenities weren’t available.

If you get a great rate on your stay and the amenities are working then this is a perfectly ok place to stay but it is definitely not worth the current high price tag.
