Stayed for almost a week and my companion had complaints, but the staff was very accommodating and made sure we were satisfied while staying. Close to the airport, But unless you have the window open the noise shouldn't be too bad. I'd stay here for another visit into vancouver!

Loved the clean room and linens, good mattress and pillows, and the deck with chairs and table for fresh air. The AC was perfect. Housekeeping was exceptional. Plant Ops quick to help with my safe box issues. Great meal and service at the hotel bar and also at the coffee bar in the morning.

Overall, the hotel was fine. There was no luggage rack in room so suitcase had to be on the floor which was a bummer. The front desk lady was awesome, so friendly and welcoming. The shuttle bus was really helpful with getting to the airport.

The pictures on the site are deceiving. Looks like a nice hotel but it stunk and was very hot in the hallways. They cranked the heat on blast. The room felt like it was falling apart… don’t think I’d come back here.

The room was spacious and the furniture was good. The kitchenette was stocked with basic utensils, kettle, toaster and microwave . The stopper for the kitchen sink didn't fit so you couldn't keep water in it to wash dishes. When we checked in one of the drinking glasses had a big blob of bright red lipstick on it so it obviously wasn't washed. There was a big sticky stain on the headboard. The shower curtains were ripped and several of the rings for hanging it were broken. There had been a patch to the wallpaper in the bathroom but it it now hanging off. The pop-up stopper in the bathroom sink didn't work so it kept all the water in the sink which was a problem when brushing your teeth. The hot tub wasn't working. There was a notice on the hot tub timer stating it was temporarily out of order. The notice looked like it had been there for a long time. The floors have several ramps to get to and from your room which can be challenging if you have any difficulty walking. There was a broken floor tile in the lobby which was a tripping habit. These are things I would expect if it was a $100.00 a night roadside motel but not a $400.00 a night \"resort\". My suggestion is to look elsewhere if you want a clean and well maintained room.

The outdoor pool was well maintained and the kids had fun retrieving their sinking toys. Inside the hot tub jets were not working but the hot tub was a good temperature. The bed was comfortable and overall it was a great stay!

We arrived late in the evening after a long day of travels and just hoping to rest before our flight the next day. When we entered our room there was a bit of an interesting smell but with it being late and us being so tired we didn’t ask for a new room and believed it would be ok and go away. However upon waking up and staring to pack my luggage I realised there was a dirty plate left in the recycling from a previous guest and it was creating the smell. It made us upset and felt like the room wasn’t cleaned very well. When brought up to the staff at check out they were not very sympathetic of the situation and we left dissatisfied and grossed out.

Very clean and kind housecleaning staff, make sure your name(s) match booking account at check in. I share an account with my husband and the account was under his name but I checked in and I was traveling with other family. The front desk staff told me my reservation was canceled at check in because my husband wasn’t with me. As a “one time courtesy” they let me stay there under our original reservation. Otherwise our stay was great.

Overall good hotel and good location. Limited food options (Dennys on site and a Chop house bar). Good shuttle for airport, parking on site and clean rooms. A little pricey, but that seems to be the normal around the Vancouver airport

We hav difficulties with the shower, it was hard to turn the faucet. The number of towels was too low for 4 persons in the same room. You don't hav a continental breakfast included with the room cost. We hav delay also to get to the airport because ur shuttle was full and was not able to bring 4 of us, the bags was already inside. At least you paid for the cab to bring us at the airport, but we had more suitcases to move ourselfes. For our next trip, we will go in an other hotel for sure.

This is the ghost of a 4 star hotel. The sign of negligence and aging is everywhere. But I highly appreciate the staff for their friendliness and welcoming attitude. They are doing their best. But the owner/management should think about renovating the property. People are paying good money.

The room was nice but there was a VERY noisy large water pipe running down the wall in room 243 that ruined our sleep. Also, the airplane noise was excessive. The hotel is in the glide path so noise abatement should be used.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean but the hallway wasn’t. They should vacuum the hallways more. The room was so loud from the old AC units, I could not sleep. The facility is way older than the pictures show. Only book if you want a central location to Richmond.

Room us clean but They have no coffee pot and Hair dryer in the room not sure if they forgot or not also The wardrobe had hinged glass doors that tipped over as soon as they were opened, which was quite dangerous, especially since I was staying with a child. Luckily, I was the one who opened it first.

Great if you're staying near the airport. It's a small trek to the centre of Vancouver, but if you can utilise the free shuttle to get to the airport you'll save some time on the commute.
Beds were comfy, and the room clean, with good bathroom amenities.

Incredible stay. Clean, nice staff, great hotel restaurant below. The only small issue was the fact that we were about 1/2 mile/1km from the nearest public transit spot. Uber and Lyft are pretty cheap in Canada so that was fine. 10/10 will stay again.

They kindly moved me to an upgraded room when the a/c wasn't fixable, but the new room had a slow draining sink, incorrectly installed shower curtain liner that fell off during my shower, and clocks in both rooms were still an hour behind.

We arrived at the hotel. We were given a room in the Columbia Tower (as booked). We got into the room. Carpet had multiple burn looking type stains in the carpet. Bathroom didn't appear to have a working fan in it so the ceiling had molding water spots throughout. And large crumbs were found throughout the room - near the bed and the lounge chair. Room was all around in disrepair. Also found floating bandaids and large skin pieces in the hot tub. We didn't bother asking for another room as we were only there for one night post Cruise and flying out early the next morning. Staff at the front desk were nice though. Denny's was nice and convenient to have attached.

We booked this hotel the night before we flew out and again the night we flew back to YVR. We used the shuttle both ways and found it to be convenient and on time both ways. We traveled with friends who left their vehicle in the parking lot for the duration of our holiday and they charge a reasonable 7.00 plus tax a night. The hotel is clean and happy hour at the Chop House is always fun, very good Sangria. We were upgraded to a Penthouse suite upon our return which was a very nice surprise,we were not expecting that. Overall we have no complaints about this hotel and usually stay here when we fly out of YVR.

Option for early check-in (for a fee) was nice when I needed to rest after a week-long cruise to Alaska. The breakfast restaurant directly next door was also a very convenient & open 24/7. The free shuttle to/from the airport is great & runs every 30 minutes.

The hotel is very dated, when you enter the main entrance, you think it's a nice hotel, but the rest is like a labyrinth, hard to find your room, old dated carpets and decor, very dark and uninviting. The room was just as bad as the hotel itself. I wanted to change rooms, but the front desk, wasn't having it. The only good thing about this hotel is the amenities, a Denny's, Chop and a gym, and also the approximaty to the airport.

Water was leaking out from behind the kitchen sink, all over the counter and on all of our stuff. (We didn’t notice this until 6am the next morning. Heat was also not working in the bed area, we had a baby with us and he was cold so we had to move him into the kitchen area to sleep. Hotel manager only offered us a lunch as compensation. Constant noise from the room above like someone was jumping around at all hours. Manager said he couldn’t refund us due to the fact that we paid on a 3rd party website. Probably won’t be coming back. For the price we paid, we could’ve went to a way better hotel.

Our stay was been very good.Staffs were very accommodating and friendly.We did not use any of the facilities except the free shuttle.Bar was nice and affordable.
Room was clean except the pillow cases have some smells like used and seems did not change from guest before we checked in.
Over all I can rate 9 out of ten! We still can recommend the property.

Mine was a strange usage of the hotel. I got off of a cruise ship in the early morning and my flight home wasn't until 11:30 pm. Instead of my wife and I dragging our luggage around all day we decided to rent a room so we could drop the bags off and also have a place to freshen up before our flight. The room itself was just okay. Really could use a complete makeover. I thought the price of the room was very fair. Airport shuttle was very helpful as the hotel is a few miles from the airport.

We did have dinner in the main restaurant and it was excellent. The decor and staff were wonderful. Our waitress even brought out a small appetizer the chef was trying out for us .

All in all, we were happy with the accomodations and would definitely stay there again,

No air conditioning for the building just portable ones. I room was 27 degrees when we got in. Stifling. Changed rooms and it was just the same. The makeshift air conditioner was a cut out in the sliding door which meant the door couldn’t open of close and all it would take was someone to push it through and come in. Plus wide open for bugs to come in. Apparently we are not the first to complain as to the lack of air conditioning but appears the owners done care to invest in proper air conditioning for the hotel. Yet they charge enough. Bathroom was stained and not well kept. Disappointing overall but the pool area was decent and the kids had fun
