This place was so disgusting. C\"m or food on the blanket. Holes in the sheets. Used toilet paper roll on the counter. Freezing cold room. Very poorly fixed 4ft hole inthe ceiling. I have never stayed in a worse place ever!!!

This was the worst room I've ever stayed in and the amount of money I paid for it was ridiculous. When I walked in the room door had dents all over in it and was loose the carpets were stained the bedding was stained the jacuzzi was dirty on bottom the shower didn't work right it was so bad I had to check for cockroaches and bed bugs while I was checking the bed for bed bugs the mattress had holes all over on it and cuts along the bottom they had a ice bucket I asked the front desk where did I get ice and he sent me to the motel next door don't ever stay there this is the worst place to stay

Very disappointed with this hotel. The reception area had a very unpleasant smell and did not feel professional. Our first room was not cleaned at all — the bed was unmade and food items from the previous guest were still on the table. We had to ask for another room. Even the renovated section looked unfinished and unattractive from the outside. Overall, the hotel was dirty and had a bad odor. I would not recommend staying here.

Some bugs present on the walls, pretty sure the bed has some too. Also kitchen is an extra fee if youd like to use. It is stated on Expedia posting that it is included in aminities. No Ice within the Motel itself you have to go next door Canada Inn to get some. Night staff are not so friendly except for the girl that check us in. Deposit was 200 and I only got 150 something back.. sadly would not recommend this Motel

My room had bed bugs, and I slept with them for one night. I work in healthcare so bedbugs is a huge deal for me. The staff changed my room next day but I was really disappointed with Expedia. I have been using it for a while and when I asked for the help from agent online. Instead of helping me out he asked me to contact with front desk and gave 30 points credit. And what’s with the motel why do the have speaker every morning and night someone is calling someone from there which ruined my sleep. I wanted a new room with new hotel I would have paid extra but the agent try shove my problem off his shoulder. Never ever I feel I was helped during my. The second night I was awake all night and slept on the desk instead of the bed coz of bed bugs scare. Just because it was holiday I let it go. But the MOTEL is a no no and I have pictures as well.

We requested for non smoking room but room they gave us, it had bad smoking smell there. Staff were very rude. There was no water dispenser at the office or outside. Room door was very squeaky and exhaust fan was very loud in the bathroom. I will never be going back there in future. Room was too cold even with heat on. Zero star.

1. A deposit equal to a 2 night stay - $200 freaking surprise!
2. Phone did not work.
3.Staff screwed up the electronic door lock after entering room without notice or permission.
4. Internet was inaccessible for 1/2 the stay.
5. Shower plunger not obvious, and there werr no instructions.

The bathtub had rust. The sheets were so old they had a wierd smell and the sheets had small holes. Walking on the carpet dirtied our socks. The picture on the TV had a lot of snow. The kitchen sink was leaking and had issues. I asked the manager to change the room but he said that they were all the same.

This is not a three or four star hotel. This is a MOTEL!! The bed is as so soft & comfortable it was so hard to crawl out at 5am!! This motel is not in the middle of surrey’s homeless area so it felt comfortable. The towels are not super soakers but this is a motel. Not every room has refrigerator. Wifi included and speed was more than adequate. This place deserves your attention if you’re traveling to surrey and don’t need the luxuries.

We stayed at the Linda Vista Motel for one night, and it was a great value for the price. The room was clean, though a bit dated, and came with all the essentials: a comfy bed, TV, air conditioning, microwave, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The kitchen was a nice bonus, perfect for a short stay. Everything matched the description on the booking site, with no surprises. The carpets are heavily stained. There are lots of corners in the bathroom with built up gross dirt and the ceiling in the bathroom is cracking. The toilet has dirt on the back part where the cap has come off for the toilet seat. There was loud water tap use multiple times and resulted in water puddles outside our room. When we asked the cleaner to stop, she told us no and when she was told to stop multiple times she put her hand up in a threatening way. Do not recommend. While it was one of the more affordable places, we did not feel comfortable not wearing our shoes in the room. There was no fridge in the room.

The bad reviews that I read for this property are legit. It looks pretty from the road but it’s not. The left side top floor had a fire at some point and it’s taped off.

Our first impression was terrible. Wife walked in the room and this is what we seen. Carpet not vacuumed and that was clear just by looking at it. Towels bunched up on a shelf that were most likely dirty as they were rolled up in a ball. She pulled back to sheets to take a look.

Blood stains, some other dark stains and black pubic hair all over the sheets and pillows. Burn holes and rips too. We had housekeeping come change the sheets. They did. They realized the new sheets were gross too and they changed them again. There was what appeared to be mold and either water stains or god knows what on the pillows under the pillow cases.

The entire mainland was booked solid so we didn’t have a choice but to stay the one night for just over $250!

The bathroom was not very clean either. I told my kids to not take their shoes off until we went to sleep.

We had a very sketchy man and lady next to us who appear to have lived there. Their room smelled like weed. At one point we left our door cracked so my wife could get back in to the room after visiting friends staying there too. As I laid in bed I heard the door open slightly then close again. Thought it was my wife. It wasn’t. It was the sketchy guy from next door taking a peek probably assuming we forgot to close the door.

Pull this place off Expedia!!!!!!

I wish I have researched by reading reviews from different platforms. This place is gross. It smelled like armpits perhaps because of the dirty carpets, the smell was so strong, none of us (my wife, my mother and I) fell asleep for more than 2 hours tops. And I had to paid $190 for the night. I wouldn’t sleep there again even I get paid $200 a night. Little did I know, there are really nice HOTELS closer to Vancouver, which would be so much nicer and convenient for me. I later found a nice hotel by Granville waterfront for $100 more than this sorry motel. I would avoid it with all cost.

The price of the room for one night was too expensive, they charged 230$ and extra 200 for deposit.
Everything was okay. But the receptionist made me felt bored ,asked alot of question and we had to stay in receptionist office for more than 15 minutes, even though Everything was already reserved online.
During check out, when I was at the reception , a guy told me in a rude tone\"oh leave the keys inside the room\" i told him why we already came out from there and again you want me to go in \" so he was like no madam u need to leave the key inside the room. Even though i feel they need to give every instructions while customers is checking in, rather than making customer feel stupid. Morning guy was really rude. Bad customer service.

The location of the place is fine, but the entire facility needs a much needed face-lift and clean up. I saw large rat outside the office, there were mice droppings inside under the kitchen sink, there was a mouse trap inside the bedroom. Bed linen not clean, carpet extremly dirty and heavily solied. Food particles on ceiling of kitchen. Door had opening at bottom, so didn’t feel safe. Refrigerator made strange sound often, so frightened my 92 year old mother.

Staff highly unprofessional and unwilling to help. The room was filthy and absolutely disgusting. The room smelt like cigarette smoke. It was very dark, lacking lighting to even see how dirty it was. When shining the phone light i could see burn marks all over the floor and damage everywhere, including the washroom. This shouldn't be on Expedia...

This was a last minute booking, and the front desk assistant couldn’t speak English very well. We didn’t mind to much, it was just hard to understand. Our room was terrible when we got in it, it smelt off. It’s dingy and old. The sheets had many stains and wads of hair in them. On the pillow cases as well. The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair caked in the corners, on the bottom of the bathtub. The towels had stains and hair again. I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a while. There was sticky stuff on every surface. With this being our only option we had to run to Walmart to get sheets, pillows and a blanket to make it manageable. We even got disinfectant spray and wipes. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there, it was FAR too expensive for what it is.

the whole motel is infested with rats, in the rooms, in the beds (i could see & feel them moving inside of my mattress, i could hear them in the walls, i could see the stains of their urine & poop) and i hate rats & mice. i couldn’t sleep the whole first night of my stay, i sat on the bathroom counter the WHOLE night, because every piece of furniture had rats inside of it.
i asked for a refund because a new room wasn’t enough, and the 2 men that were working at like 2/3AM were very nice and offered me a refund because i can’t be around the rats due to my own trauma, so they were like ok just wait for a few hours and we’ll get that to you, you can check out & go to new hotel.
morning comes around, and there’s a new worker at the front desk; darker skinned, young man, with big squared glasses, short & stubby & has ZERO care for how he treats his customers.
Him & his mother are condescending, unprofessional, entitled, unclean, and disrespectful, individuals.
they denied everything that the 2 actual good workers offered me, which really made up my mind for me to never support a company like that again, if it puts ANY money on the table for a family like those 2 lazy, dirty, clowns. the guy yelled at me for the door closing while i was changing rooms, he must have forgot what his job was? anyways, i advise you to go anywhere but here, do not support a condescending, cheap, careless family like these people, they are seriously disgusting & guaranteed you will get bedbugs here.

Staff is really bad at communication, I asked for an iron and I was told to wait 15 minutes, I waited for over an hour and they didn’t call me back. Asked the guy at front desk about it while checking out and he wasn’t apologetic about it either so they don’t care about the service or guests. I didn’t go back here after that.

They asked for a $200 deposit and that was the most run down place I’ve ever stayed at it was very dirty. The bathtub had stains all over it. The carpet was a mess the beds like fell over when you sat on them. It was the worst day of my life. I will never go back highly do not recommend anyone who who likes a clean space to stay here.

The sheets had stains, looked like blood, brown stained spots everywhere, brown chunks on the walls, hair in the bathtub, burn holes in the bedding, sharpie drawn on the tv, 3 lights were burnt out. Stains on the carpet. It was disgusting. I felt very uncomfortable. 30 minutes after check in, we checked out.

The owners of the property was welcoming when we arrived, but the room was a whole other story. It was definitely a heavily smoked in room even though it is stated as nonsmoking, the sheets were torn and had burn holes in them, the comforters also were covered in burn holes. The carpet in the room was so covered in stains and burn holes that I would not step on them without shoes on. The bathroom tap leaked and when you turned on the hot water the water poured out you had to have a rag on the counter. Location was good and parking lot and area outside was very clean.

NOT WORTH EVEN 150!

We have stayed multiple times at this place and it has been adequate. The place is very old and no Reno’s have been made. Upon entering was immediately hit by the bad odour. Taking a shower I wasn’t sure wether I was clean or dirty when I got out. The bathtub was disgusting and needed to replaced. When we got back to our room we were greeted by a mouse that quickly vacated under the locked door where the kitchenettes are. We had asked for a late checkout but were called at 10:30 the next morning with “checkout is 11:00”. Paid just under $200.00 for one night you would think they could do some Reno’s charging that much for what it is. Never going back never recommending.
