We loved this hotel and can't recommend it enough! Location is perfect as it is a 1min walk from the center, yet still has free parking. Our room even had a great view of the castle! The hotel itself has a very charming aesthetic and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and extensive! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

A lovely traditional hotel. Well appointed rooms even the small single I had. Excellent traditional German breakfast with lots of choice. Small well kept pool and outdoor seating in garden with views of the castle. Only five minutes stroll from the centre of the beautiful town of Wernigrode. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Schlosspalais and we would not choose to stay anywhere else in Wernigerode. The rooms are comfortable with matching furniture, well appointed bathrooms and views of the castle. Staff are friendly and helpful (although don't speak English!) and breakfast buffet is great. Room well heated through winter.

This was a charming hotel, just a short walk to the center of town. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the breakfast service was very good. The swimming pool and sauna were an added benefit.

The hotel was like a \"bed and breakfast\" except breakfast was extra. The room was nice and clean, with a balcony that had a great view of the castle on the hill. The bathroom was clean but small, typical of German hotels. We had a problem with wifi reception on the second day but they fixed it. Breakfast was the typical European buffet with lots of bread and smoked meats, eggs, etc. the hotel was walking distance to the pedestrian and shopping area.

Lovely area, many resturants close. Castle views from our window. Slightly small ensuite. Walking distance to lovely old town. Easy access to Brocken steam train ride. We had a great time staying here, very German not a lot of English spoken.

Great for a long weekend maybe not for business...
With a major fair on in Hannover I was looking for an alternative out south east of Brauschweig with a pool. This hotel came up at a good price with a nice location easy to find. Although in the centre of the town it was quite. Unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel was closed but there were other possibilities in the town. The overall standard in the hotel was very good but the single room I had was quite small but the en suite bathroom was lovely and big.

hotel was well furnished. However no tea or coffee facilities in room. reception closes at 10pm. We contacted hotel to say our train to Wernigerode would not arrive from Koln until 10.20 PM I phoned hotel to advise late arrival but reception was closed. we had to find alternative accommodation for the Saturday evening.

Schlosspalais Review - Excellent
The Schlosspalais hotel was conveniently located near the old town of Wernigerode. There was no restaurant in the hotel, but several within easy walking distance. The town square was equally close, from which one could take a \"train\" to the Wernigerode castle.

Wernigerode is a truely beautiful place and I hope to return at some stage and if so, I would seriously consider returning to this hotel.
Watch out for the hotel parking charges which were not told about in advance and be sure to take your German phrase book as not much English is spoken throughout the town.

Fully refurbished medium size hotel, with luxury fittings and furnishings. One of the few hotels in central Wernigerode with own parking, only 3 minutes walk from the pedestrian zone. Pool and fitness centre not tested. Beautiful verandas/balconies with the view of castle and the abbating stream.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel , die Zimmer sind schön gemütlich und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, nur 300 m zu Fuß zum Marktplatz mit seinem schönen Rathaus. Ich kann dieses Hotel für einen Besuch der schönen Stadt Wernigerode empfehlen und wenn ich wieder nach Wernigerode komme, werde ich wieder in diesem Hotel buchen.

Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet. Das Frühstück wird zu drei Durchgängen am Tisch serviert, hat uns irgendwie an die Coronazeit erinnert. Die Frühstückszeit muss am Anreisetag bzw. am Tag vorher festgelegt gelegt.

Bei dem hier von uns erlebten und überzeugenden Konzept mit tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war Wohlfühlen angesagt. In diesem Hotel wird die Idee des Wellness-Urlaubs, angefangen vom durchgängig angenehm-freundlichen Service über das angenehm-ästhetische Ambiente (wir hatten für mehrere Tage die Junior-Suite) bis hin zum Verzicht auf ein Frühstücks-Buffett noch gelebt. Wir erinnern uns gern an die schöne Zeit dort zurück.

Perfekt, dass es kein Buffett gibt, an dem man Schlange steht, die Leute viel mitnehmen und nicht essen und die Buffettreste sehr wahrscheinlich wie vorgeschrieben im Abfall landen. Ausserdem herrschte eine sehr ruhige Atmoshäre, da alles, was auf einer Karte am Tisch stand, umgehend frisch und schmackhaft serviert wurde.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich durch motiviertes Personal und der zentralen Lage in Wernigerode aus. Nicht zu vergessen das Frühstück, mit einer schönen Auswahl zusätzlicher Produkte. Schön war auch die Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer, mit der es sich bei der Sommerhitze gut schlafen ließ. Die klassische Einrichtung muss man mögen, mein Ding war das nicht, tut aber dem Hotel keinen Abbruch. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Her serveres en Ok morgen anretning som tager højde for coronasitationen. Gode p muligheder, centralt beliggende. Swimmingpoolen trækker bedømmelsen opad, dog skal der passes på da gulvet er meget glat specielt hvis man bruger de udleverede kloippers. Hvis jeg skal være lidt negativ så syntes jeg der mangler lidt servering om aftenen, samt lidt oplysninger om hvad der sker i byen. Ellers er vi godt tilfreds.

Gut wären zwei Kofferablagen, da man bei Kurzaufenthalt nicht Lust hat, den ganzen Koffer auszuräumen und so den Koffer auf der Erde ausbreiten muss. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Gelände.
