This place was very very very weird. When I arrived there was several Ladyboys (men that convert to women) sitting outside of the hotel. When I would leave to walk around or see tours attractions I would see them sitting outside smoking again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My sink was clogged so it would fill with water so I couldn’t use it during the 3 days I was there. I had to wash my face & brush my teeth when I showered. The only reason I am giving it a 2 star is because the staff are really nice and they give you free water. Also, this is not close to any tourist attractions. There is a train 10 minutes from the hotel, but it does take at least a good 25 min to get to the tourist areas.

Room was clean and the staff were very courteous. I did not encounter any of the issues some of the more negative reviews had. This is a great hotel for value seekers. Lets talk a bit about the location though. There is not street food or convenience stores available for several blocks. On the one hand this is inconvenient, but on the other it is a lot more quite than other places I have stayed at. BTS Ploet Chitt is about 4 blocks away which makes it pretty easy to get wherever you want to go.

This is the worse hotel I booked from Expedia!
No tooth brush toothpase and water was lukewarm.
No shampoo and little sbower gel.
Staff was rude and give wrong direction to mrt station. Hallway stinks! The place is too hard to find even for taxi driver or motorcycle! Area is not around tkurist very very long walk from mrt to hotel ally is dark and night just to get drink is q kilo away very dangerous walk at night horrible horible area. Breakfast has just juice and toast ripp off.

Be careful when you visit

Considering we only needed a room for a night, we thought this would be ideal as it was cheap and close to where we needed to be for the following day........location, off the main road down a narrow alley, checking in was quick, reception didnt really speak.... room.....there was a hole in the wall, a lot of ants around, bed sheets had staines, bathroom was very basic, as though the room was purely for those in need of a place after picking up someone.

Air conditioner in room didn't get cold despite being on the lowest temperature setting, there is a power point below the air conditioner that I charged my phone with, overnight the air conditioner leaked water onto my phone and caused water damage to my phone.

The towels in our room were obviously once white, but now they were grey with frayed edges.

Location isn't good, there isn't any taxis or motorbikes in the area and you're going to have to walk it to the BTS (~1 kilometre)

Very small hotel

Small room with no windows. Very basic and not very comfortable to sleep on however you pay for what you get thou it's convenient to the British Embassy as it's only round the corner. Don't expect any luxuries and staff have no concern about your stay. No security on site and safe facility is not safe as it's removable.

Breakfast...terrible. Room needs lots of maintenance. Drains smell and don't empty. Staff are not friendly and not helpful. Bad attitude. Too busy putting on make-up to answer questions. Do not bother. Only worth about $US15 per night for what you get. Total rip-off. Photos look nothing like the real thing.

pros:-
reasonable with a discount. Blackout curtains. Near to central chidlom and other shopping areas and quite near bts.

cons:- the hotel is inside an alley, not all taxis know it and u gotta direct them and even then u gotta be on a lookout.
lacking in facilities, no towel for outside door, no toothbrush/paste, no auto room clean or towels, gotta request. sounds travel loudly, you can hear people walking and talking outside.
Might have to walk abit for a taxi or a motorcycle.

People were ok there , the hallways look clean , but the room is not nice , first , super noisy, tight , cold shower , no glass separation with toilet , mold in room , rusted sinks , when showering toilet paper gets wet , super old towels , breakfast just bread , cereal and coffee, some diced apple that I didn't feel comfortable eating . I really don't recommend it , place doesn't look bad outside , but rooms need serious fast upgrades .

This was the worst hotel investment I have made in Bangkok. The room was dirty with stains of the comforter and pillow cases, and a dirty bathroom. My room was never seen by a housekeeper for the 3 nights I was there.

I've been staying at the Nantra Ploenchit for two years, almost every time I go to Bangkok. During this time I've seen the cleanliness of the rooms decrease. In the beginning I was undeterred, thinking that if the sheets and towels are clean, it's enough for me. But the black stuff in the corners of the bathroom is starting to stray to other areas, the counters in the room haven't been wiped down in forever, and then I pulled back the sheets to find long strands of hair that's not mine. I then checked the pillow cases and found eyelashes on them. The price for the location is hard to beat, so I'm not sure what I will do in the future, but I'll likely sacrifice the neighborhood and go elsewhere where reviews say the room and sheets are clean.

Affordable, new hotel, safe and accessible location, simple breakfast daily, free coffee/tea anytime of the day, safety deposit box in room, efficient aircon, fast wifi, shampoo and body wash provided, free bottled water inside room

Cons:
* only 1 key per room and we have to leave room key w/ reception everytime we leave
*housekeeping upon request only.Housekeeping cleaning style is questionable as they did not even notice a syringe needle beside the glasses on desk (obviously from previous guests). Also they had the nerve to replace our floor towel with a badly torn and ripped towel.
* same food for breakfast everyday
* staff were not fluent in English and not really the most accommodating nor knowledgeable compared to other hotels within Bangkok.
*no phone in room. Whenever you need something, you have to go down.

Initial room given was mouldy on the walls and bathroom, there is water leak at the fridge area and the floor was wet. A request to change the room was promptly acquiesced although room was upgraded with no mouldy walls, towels were fraying and very used, room was also not clean with hair on the table top, stains on the basin.

Safe, not much clean and cheap price

We stayed there 3 nights. It is in the Embassies area so it is quite safe. The public area in the hotel is clean and warm but the room is not. We see some stains on the wall of head bed and in the bathroom. The price is good. Finally, nothing to say about staff.

I am from India, Went for a Honey Moon in Bangkok. For a budget family please go for this hotel. It was supper, I say thanks to Hotels.com to put this first as per my budget. Morning breakfast was too good. Things to Change: Bathroom is not good, feeling like very small, some issues in the bathroom , drop water is coming in room number 303, Next to the building it was a free ground and full of trees and plants, because of that many insects and small earthworm we seen, Try to maintain good. But I was satisfied what I paid.

My girlfriend and I had a good night sleep there. The location was convenient enough to get to. The room was, however, rather small and showing some age. Room cleanliness was sub-standard. On the other hand, it was quiet. We weren't disturbed by any noise at all. While the staff tried to serve, they were not as professional as those in other hotels of this price range. The check-in and check-out process took too much time than typical.

Overall, we're happy with our stay there although it could have been nicer in comparison to our experience at other hotels (of the same price range) we stayed.

I stayed in nantra ploenchit hotel for least 2 week and this hotel its worth it for that price not so expensive cause i stayed for long,the room is pretty much big and comfortable every morning we get abreakfast even the menu always the same lol,for the location is closed to ploenchit BTS you can walk like 15 minutes then have so many motor driver for 3 minutes walk , this area is also closed to platinum shopping mall only 5 minutes with taxi but the things i dont like about this hotel is the staff is not welcome , they not even smile also the recepcionist not fluent in english they always speak thai well at least this hotel good of you stay for long in bangkok and not so expensive

Great location for the price!

I always stay at the Nantra Ploenchit when I go to Bangkok. The rooms can be a little \"used\" but the design is modern, the sheets are clean, the bed is comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Since I've been going there every 2-5 months for the past year, the staff often recognize me and welcome me back. <3

Small room, but with everything you need

Hidden away in a lane away from the main road. Quite a distance to walk to the nearest BTS station (Phloen Chit station) if you have any luggage to pull along.

Given that we got the rooms at a discounted rate, its acceptable but definitely not worth the full published rate. I would rate it as a 1.5 to 2 stars hotel.

Exactly what I needed - not more and not less

The location was perfect for where I had to go, only a few minutes by foot from Ploenchit station. The neighborhood is quiet so you can get a good night's rest, but it's also within walking distance of nightlife and shopping. Breakfast was good, with whole milk which I love. :) The room was modern, and I had a good WiFi signal in it. The only downside is that I found the room to be less than clean. The sheets, towels, and bathroom were fine and those are the important parts, but the desk/counters and the floors contained marks, smears, and dirt.

The hotel was a little difficult to find at first. It is set off in a side alley, and not visible from the main road. A local was kind enough to call them and figure out where it was for us. The room was probably the smallest room we've ever had. There was literally no way to walk around three sides of the bed. Some of the wallpaper was peeling, and overall, the room had a bit of a shabby feel. The staff was very nice, and while the hotel is in more of a business district, it is only a ten minute walk to the main drag (Sukhumvit), and there is plenty to do there.

A basic hotel, with Wi-Fi and basic breakfast.
Nearest convenience store is about 10 mins away.
About 10 mins to ploen chit bts, nevertheless quite accessible.

Overall a decent place, if you are looking to just crash in for the nights at a central location and don't expect to be pampered in any way. Its close to the Swiss and English embassies, so a rather quiet and \"safe\" locality.

This is the second time of visiting bangkok. first day of finding and checking in the hotel ruined the holiday mood for the rest of my days in Bangkok.
First of all, it took the taxi driver nearly 2hours to reach the hotel, none of the taxi driver in Bangkok knew this hotel. because this hotel is hidden in a street where it can hardly be found.
Second of all, the telephone number of the hotel was wrong! the taxi driver was first ask me to call the hotel but the tel number was wrong, totally wrong! so please dont trust the telephone number shown on the itinerary.
Third, there was ants in my room!!! ants crawl all over the floor and some crawl to the bed. my request of changing room was reject due to hotel rooms are fully booked! so hilarious.
And the rooms were not spacious as the picture shown(maybe they are for illustration purpose only), not much space for us after putting our luggage.
there is no any restaurants or stalls that can easily reach nearby the hotel, no supermarket or even 7-11 near, so we have to take bts to other place to find something to eat.
the breakfast includes only breads, super duper sweet orange juice, some milk and snacks which called breakfast included. we are not even full after having the breakfast.
In conclusion, i will never stay this hotel anymore.

However, it's location is a little inconvenient. Though, if you don't mind taking a 5 minute walk to the BTS, then a 2-3 stop ride, you're all set! Again, price was great for the amenities!

조식도 토스트와 시리얼 뿐이라 조식이라고 하기에는 맞지 않는 듯.
4박을 하는데 청소 전형 안 되고, 타월도 2개만 주고 안 갈아 줌.
저렴한 호텔이라 그 자체로 만족할 뿐, 서비스는 바라지 않는 게 좋을 듯..

Lemplacement rue calme. La chambre était calme mais il y avait un problème sur la clim qui a été réparer dans la journée. Très grand lit . Sinon la salle de bain est sale de la moisissure le lavabo tout tâche et tous les murs ont besoin d'un bon coup de peinture. C'est aussi le seul endroit en Thaïlande où le personnel est désagréable pas bonjour rien sauf le trangene.

Albergo ordinario con stanze ampie che evidenziano una mancanza di manutenzione soprattutto l'impianto di climatizzazione emana un odore di muffa e di putrido in tutte le zone dell'albergo il condizionatore della stanza è sudicio e non si può lasciare acceso a lungo senza avere problemi respiratori . A parte questo grave problema il resto è nella norma , la prima colazione è sufficente , l\"albergo si trova nella zona delle ambasciate .

今回はありがとうございました。
ホテルの位置はBTS Phloen chit駅から徒歩10分ほど。裏道で行くと狭いのに車渋滞がひどくて10分ほどかかります。道も悪いから歩きにくい。表通りから行ったほうが良いでしょう。
ホテルは建物は古い感じも、最近改装されたのか清潔感はあります。が、申すわけ無いです、少々蟻などが見受けられたので、他の部屋は最近分かりませんけど気にされる方は一考を。トイレ、シャワーはまぁまぁで、室内温水器の為、出は良くはないですが、他のホテルもそんな感じが多いのでこれくらいは並なのでしょう。
細かい所はゴミ箱やドライヤーがなかった所です。
朝はパン、シリアルの軽食付きでスタッフの方の応対も良かったです。
通常どれくらいの料金か分かりませんがとてもお安く泊まれました。
総合的には10点満点の6位と見てます。

Too expensive for old properties, bad service : there was no mineral bottle for our 2nd day stay till we asked.. 😑
The Properties are scartched, the wood peeled of, no footcloth till we asked, dowdy. The breakfast is too simple for the espensive cost per night 👎👎👎

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, vi kom med ett tidigt flyg och fick checka in hela 3 timmar tidigare. Utöver det är rummet ungefär vad man betalar för, men mkt bra AC!

カードキーが壊れているからと、開けるときは毎回フロントによる必要があった。明け方ちかくまでロビーで大きな音でテレビを見たり、走り回るスタッフがいて、快適とは程遠い。

シャワーが壊れていて水しか出なかった。日本だったら即　別の部屋に変更してくれると思うのですが、翌日見に行くとのこと。大事な荷物を置いたまま外出したかったので、盗難を心配してベッドメイキングを不要にしたため、シャワーも見にきてもらえませんでした。

Uno schifo

Siamo stati più volte in questo hotel, ma ogni volta è peggio. Nella camera, tutto rotto, uno schifo, igiene nulla, servizio scadente. Sembra che a loro non interessa se vai o non vai. Siamo appena stati ora, 4-5 giugno 2018, e abbiamo deciso che è l'ultima volta che ci andiamo. Peccato, perché per noi, era una posizione strategica per i nostri affari, e a un buon prezzo.

เก่าแต่เตียงนอนหมอนสะอาด แอร์เย็นดี พื้นผนังมีฝุ่นผงมากและอ่างล้างหน้ามีเส้นผม ฝ้าเพดานมุมห้องนอนโป่งพองจากน้ำรั่ว ถ้าไม่คิดอะไรมากแค่มานอนหรือแวะทำธุระ ก็สะดวกเดินทาง หลับสบายดี สงบเพราะอยู่ในซอยไม่พลุกพล่าน
