Room was very basic and dark has window but another building on side of it so felt very costar phobic and not very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice.

Area of Patong isn’t far from all shops and malls so good location.

Personally with my family or by myself wouldn’t stay again due to it not having any natural light and very dated. But for the price will be ok for someone for a quick stay.

Room was an oven due to a faulty AC unit. We were baking in the room and couldn't sleep until the next day.

The next day the staff rudely asked us to vacate the room, we couldn't wake up due to the lack of sleep because of the hot room, they still called again and asked us to leave aggressively, so we did as instructed and left. Never going back there again.

The front desk workers were very nice and helpful. My room was larger than I expected. I appreciate the waters provided. The hotel works with a massage place across the street, which is one of the best priced places in Patong. Massage was great too. I never felt unsafe in the hotel or the area. There is a 7 Eleven one minute away, which is super convenient.

Overrated Hotel not in the best location

I have been booking hotel rooms with Hotel.com all over the world for many years and I have achieved the \"Gold level\" for doing so. For all my bookings, I rely a lot on the overall ratings and comments from customers. So when I saw the very good reviews on this hotel, this convinced me to book it. For once, the people who reviewed this hotel previously were wrong and misleading! This hotel is average at best and does not offer good value for the price it charges. By adding an additional $15-20 CAD you can have some amazing other hotels a lot closer to the beach. This hotel is in a bad location 20-25 min walk from the beach and you have to cross two significant busy thoroughfare to get to it. Hotel is clean though and the breakfast buffet is good. Friendly staff overall, especially Jimmy, who is an amazing gentleman. Room size is adequate but not much storage. Dated bathroom with good shower and water pressure but splashes everywhere. Firm beds. Very small roof-top pool but clean. No room to accommodate more than 4-5 people. Good WiFi.

We stayed there three nights and thought it was just “okay.” The pros: The room was clean, simple, nothing fancy. The water in the shower was hot. The location was great in easy access to the main areas of interest. The cons: The staff, with the exception of the night desk clerk was not overly friendly and didn’t go out of their way in any way, shape or form to make you feel welcome. We asked for towels and they couldn’t give us more than two—they had to come up and retrieve old towels before providing new. They allot only two towels to a room for two people—no more for any reason. The breakfast was just okay. We saw lots of ants and a large roach in the kitchen area. All in all I would recommend this hotel as an option for a good budget hotel. If you are looking for something a little more warm, homey and friendlier I would look elsewhere.

More like Patong Dump! This was the failure of my trip. Booked it based on reviews and price and it was a huge mistake. First off, avoid staying in Patong. This hotel is in an alley. Not the cleanest. Towels were stained. Smells. Breakfast buffet had ants. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff sucked! Some of them were super friendly but bad customer service. They try to rip you off with the taxi hotel. Also, recommended spa across hotel is theirs and it’s gross. Could hear the bathroom and the ladies speak loud - so not relaxing. Don’t stay there. There are so many better options in Phuket for good prices.

Pros:
The property is in a great location. It is a 15 minute walk to Jungceylon for all your shopping needs, but is also right next to a great massage place, a 7/11 and some great food carts. There are also several laundry services available and also a laundromat if you are so inclined

The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is pretty good, but can get monotonous after a few days (as it would anywhere else).

Cons:
Beds are not the most comfortable. The first couple nights are ok, but after that, sleeping is difficult.

The rooftop pool is beautiful, but it has no shade whatsoever. Unless you are immune to the sun, sitting up on the lounge chairs in the middle of the day is pretty uncomfortable.

Soon as i checked in the Counter person was making fun of my name lol ridiculous. This is a Motel at best, spend a little more and get yourself a real hotel. Far walk from everything & the pool on the roof had a sign saying the color of the water is the way it is cause they are short on running water smh.

Fun, fun, fun!

The staff at Patong Mansion were so welcoming and friendly. They promptly responded to all my questions and were friendly while giving information about all of the fun activities in Phuket. The buffet breakfast was delicious every day, with various selections of Thai food and other types of food. The pool on the rooftop has beautiful views of the area.

Nice, friendly staff. If you are not looking for too much in a room, just somewhere to crash, this is the place. Its not by the beach but you still have the night market around the corner. They will arrange a taxi for you to the airport with a set price, which is good because if you dont, you'll get ripped off by a regular one for double the price. I recommend this hotel, if I visit again, I'll stay at this place.

Nice hotel, clean. Do not get the breakfast, it doesn't worth the price charged. Location: nobody seems to know this place, tuk-tuk and taxi drivers always needed to ask colleagues to confirm where Patong Mansion Hotel is. Staff: Only few of them can actually speak English. They were very helpful and kind, though. But the night guy, an indian looking fella, acting like manager (?!?!) was extremely nosy and rude.

The hotel is centrally located in the Patong area of Phuket. From Phuket it is around 40mins drive south. (Just take a shuttle from outside the airport). The hotel is around 15min walk from Bangla Road and the beach. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable about the region. They helped us plan our itinerary for the next days and also booked our tour to James Bond island. The infinity pool at the top and the breakfast are the highlights.

great budget hotel , easy15 min walking to Bangla road and Patong beach or 250 baht tuk tuk. breakfast has all the basic requirements fruit, toast eggs and bacon. Rooftop pool is small but great for cooling off. staff have good english and assist with bookings and transfers. Checkout was 12 midday but staff happy to look after luggage and your welcome to shower or swim before heading to airport. Dont book tours until you have shopped around. eg prices came down from 2300 baht to 800 baht per person for a 2 island tour in phuket. would def recommend Patong mansion as a great budget hotel. we were a group of 12 friends staying.

The location is about a 25 minute walk from the beach, but moto-taxi’s are readily available & inexpensive. Breakfast is of decent standard, rooftop pool is nice. Do not hesitate to book this hotel it is fantastic value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet street about 10-15 minute walk to the beach and main amenities.Rooms clean n comfortable and adequate for two adults. Fridge,free safe deposit box and 2 Free bottles of water everyday which is a nice touch. Highly recommended.

It was our second time in this hotel and once again we were not disapointed. We had the surprise at the check-in to learn that we had been upgraded to a « Deluxe Room » instead of « Superior », and when we asked to change the next morning because of the noise of some construction nearby, it was all set up in 10 minutes! The staff speaks very good English, they are is very friendly and efficient. Our room was large and quiet, the mattress comfortable, everything was perfectly clean. The only surprise was the swimming pool, much smaller than appears on the pictures, but with so many nice beaches on the island you don’t really need a swimming pool at the hotel anyway!

Budget option, nothing special

Overall it was fine—just don’t expect anything too luxurious. Pros: 15 min walk to the beach and close to the main strip in Patong, decent breakfast, large room, mostly clean and helpful/nice staff. Cons: location in a crowded alleyway means it’s a bit hard to find and our window faced a wall, pool is much smaller than it looks in the photo (would not use it as a factor to stay here), and just in general it is a budget hotel so don’t expect anything more.

Plain motel, plain price for plain service

The water was warm one day out of the 10 days there. The breakfast was OK, they didn’t keep food hot to standards. Eggs were cooked and cold pan, sucked. Some foods were cooked and left cold and hard. Beds were comfortable, some staff did understand English, which sucked. Dining area was always warm and doors open to outside so they could save on electric, SUCKED. There was always a flies problem in dining area. I seen large RATS outside the front of hotel. Pool was small, but adequate. Scooter rental was adequate. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!

Absolutely incredible place! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean big rooms. Tasty brekkie. Great rooftop pool and facilities. Location was handy for the beach and town. A special heads up to Nana, the lovely lady who arranged our daily excursions and taxis. Plus this hotel has several pet iguanas which is a novelty. I really cannot recommend Patong Mansions enough as it one of the best establishments I've ever stayed in. Full marks. Bravo!

This hotel was central to everything we wanted to do in Phuket. It was also very convenient that we could rent a motorbike from the hotel. Jimmy was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts would have been a lot nicer if the food was hot, especially the eggs!

Great value 3 star hotel. Only negative is that its a long hot walk to anywhere. If you have a motor bike no worries. Tuk tuks are 200 Baht to go anywhere around Patong, which gets expensive. The hotel is great value for money. Good breakfast is included. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. Quiet part of Patong.

This hotel is situated down a side road away from the busy traffic. At first you are not sure if it was a good idea to book a hotel in this neighbourhood, but your fears are allayed once you settle in to this budget friendly hotel. The roof top pool offers a fine oasis from the heat of the day, especially at night. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, or you can ask to be picked up by taxi or tuk-tuk.

Very nice smaller hotel away from the crazy crowds. Large room with comfy bed. Good service . The pool has a great view and is really nice after the heat of the day. Only small downsize is that is hard to find a restaurant close by, but you can call a Tuk Tuk to get about any where.

Patong Mansion Hotel

Patong Beach is an hour's drive from the airport. It is a very busy beach resout, popular itch people wanting winter sun and fun. The Patong Mansion hotel is a 20 minute walk from the beach or 300 baht by tuk tuk, but it is close to shops and restaurants. The name Mansion suggests it will be large and elegant, which it isn't but the two rooms we stayed in whilst there were large, clean and comfortable. The ensuites were a good size with large shower area and plenty of hot water. There is a small swimming pool of the roof suitable for relaxing and cooling down. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price includes breakfast with a good choice of food.

I had a wonderful time staying at the Patong Mansion Hotel recently, the beds and comfy and I liked the eco-friendliness of the rooms (if they keys aren't in it's holder, the power for the entire room automatically goes off). The breakfast buffet was amazing, my friends and I cannot stop talking about the fried chicken because fried chicken for us has been changed forever. The staff in the Patong Mansion Hotel are the best, they made our stay so easy and relaxing. They helped us plan our activities in Phuket and even got us great prices! The location of the hotel is great, only a short walk from Bangla Road and great food. 7-11 is about a minute walk down the street. The only qualms I had was that my room wasn't sweeped when I arrived into my room and instead of a patio, we were facing a concrete wall of some sort. Besides that, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

A Very Superior 3* Hotel

In a quiet backstreet but only ten minutes walk from town centre. It is also easier to exist on a budget as there is so much street food nearby. We had deluxe rooms which were large, clean, and included fridge, safe, kettle and really good aircon. Staff are really helpful, and make this an ideal place for Patong first timers.
If you are not expecting The Ritz, then it is unlikely that you'll be disappointed.

The rooms are spacious with king size beds they only serve breakfast which ig good and pleanty of it Laundry service which is cheap and a good job done They arrange tours Have motorcycles for hire Overall a good hotel

Nice hotel in Patong.

Great hotel! Service was amazing and everyone was so helpful getting us what we needed. Breakfast was sub-par but still decent, and there wasn't much right outside the hotel. Had to walk at least 10 minutes to eat or go to the beach.

Good holiday nothing a problem to staff. Good breakfast. Quiet location away from the bars. Love the lizards. Rooms a good size. Television reception good has English speaking channels. Great shower heads. Recommend a stay

We had a good time at the hotel。 Nice clean and big rooms with a small fridge and safe in the room. The staff was great and they even prepared a birthday cake for my son on his birthday. About 15-20 minutes walk to the beach or the night bazzar. Nice small pool on the roof

Comfortable, affordable and to the beach

The staff were polite and helpful. Even though the hotel is relatively small and may not be grand, it has a cosy feel and nice ambience. It is 10-15mins from Patong beach and has a 7-eleven store just downstairs.

Great Hotel / Great People / Great Price

Really good hotel considering the price - I stayed 2 nights and it was great. Hotel is a little outside the noisy part of Patong and close to some nice street food carts. The hotel team there are friendly and very accommodating.
