can list several issues with this hotel. At check-in, a 1,000 baht deposit is required, which was not clearly communicated beforehand. When I arrived, I was told my second room would not be ready for another 20 minutes, even though I checked in over an hour after the official check-in time. The beds were very uncomfortable I could feel every spring and the rooms are clearly outdated. The elevator only partially works: I could go up from the lobby, but I couldn’t go down from my floor. The air conditioning was extremely loud, although it did at least function.

I like the location but the rooms are very dated and not well kept. Maid service is only once every 3 days so that is problematic. Also a bit overpriced for a property that needs updates. Not enough electrical outlets and internet unreliable.

The staff lies to the customer, says they will respond to the reservation center but does not. Hundreds of dollars lost...shame on Expedia and this hotel. very noisy room with bedbugs a pestilential smell in the bathroom. offers to contact Expedia for reimbursement and claims to validate given the conditions but despite their words they do nothing. To flee, never again.

DO NOT STAY HERE OR ANY OTHER APK CONGLOMERATE PROPERTIES.

^ there is like 3 APK resorts in Phuket and this one in particular is a dump on the outskirts, be prepared to stay in a desolate abandoned building with no service whatsoever.

This is not even worthy of 1 star.

No hot water, no room service. Basically everything advertised is a con.

Definitely not safe for women either.

I have asked expedia to look into removing this property from their platform so it doesn’t happen to anyone else - let’s hope it does not.

We were sent to a different property, The bed was like the worst mattress you could ever pick up from any dumpsite you could feel every spring in the complete side of the mattress had failed springs through it, The lift down button didn’t work, so we had to go down to the next floor to catch the lift.
The photos look amazing but the actual property is extremely dated and rundown, wifi only in the lobby area.
We were going to transfer to one of their other hotels the Three by APK, only to find by another stayer that they had no running water in the whole hotel for over three days and the problem still wasn’t rectified.
We were then transferred to the a APK resort and spa near Bangla Road, which was certainly much nicer but the sound of drunk tourists into the early hours of the morning as well as music and coming from the downstairs restaurant until 11 pm every night was not ideal.
The staff were very good and did everything they could to help us out and even admitted that the resort we had initially been placed in was very bad .
I think they could spend a little bit of money on a few of the hotels to replace mattresses and get the basics right and we would’ve been comfortable but unfortunately they are missing the mark on just the simple basics that are required and this ended up taking a couple of days Out of our trip just mucking around with getting hotels sorted.
I personally wouldn’t book with this particular company again at this time.

Misrepresented property. Do not stay here

I have tried to email your office to ask for a refund on my stay. I would appreciate a reply.

The photos on your site do not represent this property. They must be decades old and the cleaning staff left at the same time.

They checked me into a different property because they had overbooked the property where I booked but that was terrible also.

Breakfast was ok. The swimming pool was out of action. You needed to put a deposit down. Some staff was friendly and very helpful. I wish I knew their names mainly the lady boys I loved them. I didn't like the charges if anything was to go wrong the prices was ridiculous

I booked and paid for APK resort and spa....but was sent APK resort, which is much further away from everything, beach, Bangla Rd etc...and not as nice a hotel, also the pool way worse than APK resort and spa. When I advised EXPEDIA of the error I was told that id have to pay an extra $40AUD to upgrade if I wanted APK resort and spa. What a joke! False advertising by EXPEDIA and APK (there are actually three APK hotels in case u weren't aware of this) I really wouldn't reccomend Expedia or APK to anyone, waste of money as I ended up rebooking elsewhere after
two nights. But neither booking company nor hotel seemed to care. And to top it off, the padlock on my suitcase was tampered with and broken after I came back to my room from being at the beach all day. Lucky I used 2 padlocks so nothing stolen, but I wouldn't trust this place or the people
Working there. (Breakpoint guesthouse was where I moved to - 1000 baht per night, across from the beach and only meters away from restaurants, family mart etc. Basic but very clean with A/C and own bathroom...and my luggage was safe most importantly:)

Bad choice

Far away from anywhere you would probably want to go. Unless you enjoy long walks you'll need to take a taxi or motor bike.

Free wifi in the lobby, however, if you'd like wifi in your room that will be 90 baht an hour (that's almost $3).

The room was comfortable and spacious.

Potential confusion because there are two hotels: this one - \"APK Resort\" - far away from everything.....and there is also \"APK Resort and Spa\" which is more central.

Initially they upgraded me which was okay(probably double booked) . Then put me in a (normal) room at the back that was horrible. Not worth even half the money I paid. There are many hotels that are much better. Would not recommend.

The entry of hotel needs some asfault there are too much mud on the way as well as waste water holes releasing bad smell.
The staff is very difficult to speak with them. In 5 people I spoke well only with one.
I'm not native English speaker, but I could comunicate good.

I had a big disappointment about to receive letter, I needed to receive a emergencial credit card and the hotel told to Visa that they couldn't receive my package. So I had to call visa again and stay whole day waiting for this card.

The breakfast doesn't exist in this place, I need walk around and find another place. I went hotel of friends to have breakfast.

The build I stayed is not for disable, I don't why the hell the space between the door of lift and the wall is less than 1 metre. In case of emergency is not possible pass trought with hand-barrow.

There is a night club near so you will maybe sleep with strong sound monday-sunday.

APK Resort vs APK Resort and Spa - totally different

On Expedia there is a nice picture of APK Resort and Spa. Previoulsy I had seen a review on APK mentioning that the guests were taken to the wrong hotel, therefore I sent an email to them a month prior to our departure mentioning that we want to stay in the hotel for which the picture is displayed on Expedia. Didn't get a reply, sent a reminder, no reply again! When we were taken there it was completely different building as to what was displayed on Expedia. We requested to be given a room in the proper hotel but unfortunately did not happen. Another couple who had arrived day before us also had the same issue. We were given very dark rooms. Large cockroaches in the corridors. Cleaning material and buckets blocking the open stairways. overall was a disappointing stay.

Nice Hotel with reasonable price

We stayed at APK resorts for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay there. Room was very clean, breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. The best thing is its price. All the facilities are available within reasonable price. Hotel is at 10 min walking distance to Patong beach. Bikes are available for rent at the hotel. I recommend this hotel for the families/couples.

If you don't mind having to walk a bit when going to the beach or going out for dinner, this is a great hotel. It's got a splendid buffet breakfast, serviceminded and polite staff and nice, clean rooms. The only annoying thing, though, is they've got some dogs locked up in cages just next to and around the hotel and they bark quilte a lot..

A disapointing time.

After arriving at the wrong APK hotel, we were taken to the right one by the hotel in their bus. There were major road were going on and the roads surronding the hotel were covered in mud, this added to the fact it was further out then expected was disapointing.
We were shown to our room, which was tidy enough, but the beds were really hard and I woke up every morning with back ache.
There were too 'swimming pools', neither of which really got any sun, so a walk along the mud road was required everyday.

Fantastic hotel but a bit of walk to the centre

Nice hotel, well worth the money we paid for. Room is very clean and comfortable. Even had a 32inch LCD tv inthe room. The only thing people should be aware is the hotel is about 10-15mins walk to Bangla, but along the way there are other shops. we hired a scooter which made it much quicker to go to the town.

We stayed here knowing that were were going to a budget hotel that would be a little walk to the tourist strip and only planned on staying one night anyway. However, we didnt plan on having to get a tax because we didnt feel safe enough to walk. The shower head sprayed water out from the base wear it connects to the wall and flooded the bathroom. They try to nickle and dime you at every chance possible (ex: free wi-fi is in hotel lobby only) and teh buffet is the worst deal in town. Other than that the place was decently clean.

The hotel staff is excellent, so willing to help. Things were so smooth thanks to lady at reception, she was wonderful. Hotel is located a bit far from Phuket main street but if you don't mind walking or renting a scooter, you will sure enjoy.

This hotel is horrible...do not stay here! This hotel is not conveniently located. It was approximately a mile from the beach and town. However, the location is the least of problems regarding this hotel. The rooms only have air conditioning when you are in the room and have a key in the electrical socket. Once you leave your room...no more air conditioning. Our air conditioner broke during the evening and the hotel refused to move us to another room until the engineer looked over the problem. The hotel is dirty and the pool is not a place where I can imagine swimming---The breakfast was overpriced and nothing special. This hotel was my least favorite hotel while staying in Thailand for 3 weeks. Again....go someplace else---it may be inexpensive but it is still not worth staying at this hotel!!!!

This budget hotel is true value for money, hotel itself was not very impressive but room were quite big and clean with all the necessities, service was good, this hotel was located about 15 walk from patong beach, neighbourhood was surrounded by lush green mountain at the back.

Overall it is a very good value hotel. This place is close to the shopping area of the Patong Beach. We walked there and never need to ride the Tuk Tuk. The breakfast provided was quite good. The only compliant I have is they didn't give us a room with balcony even though the room description indicated a balcony. They have free wifi in the lobby area, so if you bring your laptop and go online in the lobby area, it is free. Otherwise, you will have to pay a fee to use the computers in the lobby.

The rooms are the only nice thing at APK resort

I stayed at the APK Resort for 3 nights at the end of our holiday in Phuket.

The location is at the back of Patong on a busy main road and not really any other hotels close by. It took around 20 minutes to walk to Patong beach.

There is a bit of construction going on in the hotel and in the area so we didn't stay in the hotel much.
The outside of the hotel is quite dated and not very appealing. There is only 1 old lift for the 8 floors and the pool is more like a water fountain.

But after taking in all these negative things about the hotel the rooms really made it very comfortable to stay there. The decoration is very modern and comfortable and even has a spa bath on the balcony.

I would recommend to stay here if you are on a budget and were only going to be staying in the room at night.

Good hotel! Pool on the rooftop and very close to everything, shopingmall, bars, clubs and restaurants! Very nice spa on the hotel but you can get cheaper if you look elsewhere. Rooms very clean and good air-con. Unfortunately the road just outside the hotel is very busy and loud. Maybe not so good if you have small children..

My partner and I (New Zealanders) stayed at APK for 7 nights whilst in Patong. We intially booked for 3 nights just in case we wernt happy, but once there we were very impressed with the hotel, buffet breakfast, location and staff that we extended our stay. The room was just a standard room (nothing 5 star) but it was great, clean, big enough for the 2 of us and was air conditioned. The bathroom was fine, shower over bath but all in all, it was clean and everything worked properly. The buffet breakfast was great, as was the spa and massage up on level 8. The roof top pool is great, and is a good way to see all over patong. The staff are very friendly and whenever we needed assistance were happy to help. The location is perfect, its just behind the big shopping centre, is approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach but its away from the noise of the night life which is perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants comfortable/affortable accomodation in patong. We recommend hiring a scooter (very cheap) and using this to get around as taxi's and tuk tuks get expensive, restaurants can get pricey with the service tax they whack on to your bill so we ate most of our meals at the food centre in the shopping mall, it was great, the food is delish, cheap and the chefs are lovely thai people! Highly recommend!

Good hotel for price!

We stayed for 4 nights at the APK and were very impressed with the appearance and cleanlines of the room! Hotel buffet breakfast was pretty standard, same choice everyday, though not all food was covered. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the reception staff were pretty rude and there was always chaos at the desk due to language barrier and disorganisation. Free wifi in the lobby was a bonus and the computers were cheap to use (100 Baht an hour)
Location wise, there's good and bad points. It's quite far to the beach, about a 15 minute walk with no shuttle service. Though it's close to the shopping centre, many food vendors, bars and restaurants.
At our time of stay the pool was out if service due to building working being done on the top floor. Other facilities like the spa were available but at a higher price to spa near by.

Huone oli kiva ja siisti. Oli mukava yllätys, että huoneemme vieläpä upgreidattiin tasokkaammaksi, kuin mitä oli varattu. Aamiainen myös ok.

Kuvat hotellista vääristivät odotusta. Ne kannattaisi päivittää, kun eteen on rakennettu ihan viereen uusi hotelli. Hankala oli löytää, kun kävellen saavuttiin ekaa kertaa hotellille. Hotelli on varmasti ollut hieno noin 10-20 vuotta sitten.

最悪なホテルでした。
部屋も古いし、汚いし、値段の割に最悪度合いがひどすぎる。
いくつか私が感じた点をピックアップすると、まず全体的にフルすぎる、そしてコストとのバランスが悪すぎる、Huluに入ろうと思ったが、汚いので帰るなと言われて、別のホテルのプールを案内された、別途横のランプをコンセントに挿したときに断線していたようで、感電しまった、お湯がそもそも出ない、掃除もしない、お礼も言わない、と大差でなく、普通にひどいホテルでした。
二度と泊まりません。

J'ai passé un enfer à l'hôtel APK Phuket. Le bruit était assourdissant toute la nuit, les portes claquaient sans arrêt, et les moustiques m'ont littéralement dévorée. Malgré un répulsif, j'ai été piquée des dizaines de fois. Les moustiques semblaient provenir des aérations ou de trous dans la chambre. Je n'ai pas pu fermer l'œil de la nuit. Cet hôtel ne se soucie visiblement que de l'argent, au détriment du confort et de la santé de ses clients. À fuir !

Inte alltid bild stämmer med verkligheten.

Hotellet är finare på bild än i verkligheten.
Vi hade större förväntningar.
Finns väldigt mycket att skriva.
De har \"lite\" att jobba med.
De serverar inte lunch och middag.
Finns ingen bar.
Ingen transport till stranden.
Ingen städning på söndag eller helgdag.
Ingen genom gång av hur hotellet fungerar.
Ingen välkomst dryck.
Nyårs afton funkade inte Wifi. Enligt APK var det i hela området som visade sig att det bara var deras hotell.
HKP Resort var utan beslysning på kvällen.
Städningen var till belåtenhet.
31/12 och 1/1 var det speciell frukost = vi behövde inte betala.
31/12 var brödrosten borttagen.
I stort sett bara frukt.
Priset som vi har betalt var för högt.
Hade vi vetat i förväg så hade vi fixat egen frukost.
Ingen badade i deras pooler.
Den ena var väldigt smutsig.

Un sejour tres compliqué... l'adresse indiquée n'est pas correcte, il faut soit être capable de sauter par dessus un égout à ciel ouvert ou contourner l'immeuble et l'entrée est au fond d'une impasse.
Ils nous ont donné une premiere chambre sale et vétuste: drap sales, serviettes usées au point detre déchirées, le frigo qui sentait le pourri et un vis à vis directe avec l'hôtel en face (on aurait pu serrer la main du voisin de l'hôtel en face sans trop forcer), des fourmis partout, et une chambre qui na pas du etre rénovée depuis au moins 25 ans.
On retourne à la réception pour un remboursement et la on nous demande pourquoi alors on fait le tour de la chambre ils disent quils sont désolés et nous proposent de passer sur une chambre supérieure dès le lendemain.
Les options étant limitées en cette periode nous acceptons sur la base de photos instagram qu'on nous promet conformes.
Nous aurions dû rester sur le remboursement.
La chambre etait certes plus grande avec un balcon et une baignoire balnéo(que nous n'avons pas testée) mais le balcon donne sur les égouts de la ville je vous laisse imaginer les odeurs.
Les draps sont toujours aussi sales (tâches de sang entre autres) et sentent le moisi, setes egalement et elles sont rêches au possible, l'eau chaude marche par intermittence et je ne vous parle pas du rideau de douche completement sale, des cafards sont présents dans les chambres
Certes ce n'est pas loin des points d'intérêts mais le quartier est la decharge du secteur

Ask Resort ligger I en bakgate, med åpen kloakk i veien inn til Hotellet. Ved ankomst var personell lite imøtekomne, de skulle ha 1000 bath i depositum, dette måtte jeg ut på byen for og skaffe før jeg kunne få nøkkelen til rommet.
Hotellet hadde ved ankomst ikke varmt vann, dette jobbet de med fikk jeg beskjed om. etter 3 netter med kaldt vann i dusjen, satte jeg forten ned og ba om refusjon eller sjefen.
Ble da overflyttet til APK The Three, et hotell i meget dårlig stand.
Her var det fullstendig mangel på vedlikehold, oppe ved bassenget manglet det bord i trapper, det var hull i terrasse, med fare for fall på 2 meter. Overvåkningskameraet på bassenget datt ned i vinden mens vi var der, dette ble hengende å dingle i en ledning.
Rekkverket var rustet av å flere punkter ned mot feste i taket og var dermed helt løst, dette var fikset med og sette blomsterpotter på innsiden, slik at ikke noen skulle støtte seg opp etter dette.
(her snakker vi om 9 etasje)
Hotellet gikk tom for vann flere kvelder.
Vi måtte tigge til oss toalettpapir 4 ganger i resepsjonen, på slutten gjemte vi rullen som hang på toalettet, bare for og ha en i reserve.
Hotellet ligger midt i et meget trafikk belastet kryss. i tillegg ligger det et marked rett på siden som det spilles musikk 7 dager i uken til 2-3 på natten.
Vi bodde i 8 etasje og hadde 65-75db i sengen med verandadøren på gløtt. 60db med døren lukket
Frokost området ble det målt 90db
Et hotell som absolutt ikke kan anbefales.

Im Prospekt des APK Resort wird mit einem Pool auf dem Dach geworben, doch es gibt drei verschiedene Häuser mit unterschiedlicher Ausstattung. In unserem Haus gab es nur einen Pool zum erfrischen im Eingangsbereich. Auch die WLAN Nutzung war nur im Eingangsbereich möglich. Bis zum Strand sind es nur 10 Minuten, eine schöne kleine Wanderung. Eine Hauptstraße in der Nähe verursacht einigen Lärm.

Очень грязный отель с плохим завтраком

Номер дали с большим балконом и видом на горы. Таких номеров в отеле около 7. Остальным не повезло, у них вид либо на стройку, либо на крышу соседнего здания, либо на реку, которая выполняет функции открытой канализации. Убирали плохо. Полотенца в номере всегда с неприятным затхлым запахом. Бассейна на крыше НЕТ. Фото бассейна на крыше от соседнего отеля Three by APK. Лифт заслуживает отдельного внимания - очень медленный и очень душный. Ужасный завтрак - пережаренная яичница и сосиски НЕ из мяса. Персонал хамоватый и ленивый. Тысячу раз пожалел, что выбрал этот отель. Пришлось мириться со всеми этими минусами на протяжении трех недель.

Dårlig karma

Vil gøre det meget kort de ca 1500 bath pr nat for det her hotel er ca 1000 for meget..
Hotellet og ikke mindst værelset var beskidt
Modtagelsen var virkelig dårlig og kaotisk..
Og som toppen af kransekagen var hotellets recrptions område som belejret af russere

ビーチに近く、広いロビーの快適なホテル

部屋は広く、綺麗だったがゴキブリがいたのと、ホテル自体に所々埃や蜘蛛の巣が目立った。
しかし従業員はみなさん優しく陽気に接してくれ、気遣いが心地良かった。

雖然房間不大，但乾淨及舒服，不嘈雜，如沒有揸車便較遠離市中心，如揸電單車，不需5分鐘便到市中心。職員服務良好。
