Average stay at Malta

Malta was not bed if you just there to sleep and not hang out at the hotel. The breakfast was below average but there are lots of restaurants close by. Location is great I wish hotel staff could learn English in Istanbul the language barrier is a problem.

Just don’t do it

This so called hotel was so gross. I had my 83 years old mom and one month kitten with me. I had to tell them several times about changing sheets and towels which was obvious hasn’t been changed for a long time. I cleaned up coffee table and night stands myself and it was so dusty.
Eventually when they brought sheets they were ripped up because they were very old. In the morning we woke up by schools kids screaming. I wish I was exaggerating but you are so very much welcome to try that hotel. The mini bar was empty and turned off. I had to go to grocery to buy cold water for my mom. On top of this I asked for bathroom trash cans and soap. We just provided a couple of small water bottles and that’s all we got during our stay.
Don’t be fool by pictures and fake reviews.
I’m veteran journalist so my advice to you first check the hotel than book it otherwise you’ll be very disappointed specially you will lose your faith of people decency.
In order to be fair in my observations, night shift guys, two young man were very kind to my kitten and my mom. They were polite and kindly helped me with my kitten medication.
If still you wanna book that hotel forget about parking there will be across 2 miter street

The staff were extremely helpful, the location is excellent as it is so central and easy to get transport to other locations. There is a beautiful park within 5 minutes...the Bosphorus brige is not far..There is so much to see and do..
The hotel is nice and small...the chef lady is so lovely, her breakfast was amazing and kept us going through t out the day.
A little bit of updating on the property would be nice..as it is really a lovely hotel with really lovely helpful, friendly staff...
I would definitely come back to this location as it was fantastic for walking everywhere if you didn't want to go by transport... All the shops were open as in retail at midnight...it really is a buzzing city...

Stuff was helpful and the place was nice and tidy. I had so much going on I’ve missed out on the breakfast but plenty of street food around. Only downside is that there is no parking and the paid park next door could ask for more money. Give them a call reception knows another park around that doesn’t charge for an arm and leg 👌

Excellent experience all round

It was the first time I have visited Istanbul so the first time I've stayed in this hotel. I was pleasantly impressed. Staff were unbelievably helpful and resourceful, breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful, and room was comfortable and cool. Definitely one for me to use again on hopefully my next visit to Istanbul!

The property is still under renovation. Location was the best part of it. However even though it says free parking they only have a few spots on the street which anyone can park really so we ended up parking at a parking lot and paid for it ourselves. No fridge or hair dryer in the room we had to ask for them. Breakfast is okay, dont expect anything fancy and make sure to get there early.

Make sure to reserve a top floor room so you can enjoy the beautiful Bosphorus sea view. 3 minute walk to the center of Ortakoy, 20 minutes walk to Besiktas where you can access metro and variety of public transportations, the staff was very friendly and helpfully. The room was clean

Poor ommunications, poor management

Things were not in place from the start of our arrival.
. Malta Bosphorus Hotel Istanbul didn't have any information in regards to our booking.
. Hotel has new management and the previous management failed to pass any information to nw guys and also new management told us that they don't have any contract with Expedia.
. But I told them you need to deal with this situation.
. We were given 4th floor room, but we were not happy about the hygiene in the room and bathroom.
. I requested to change the room and they moved us to 2nd floor. The room air conditioning was acting as a fan and cooling mode was not functioning and we are middle of hot August.
. According to your website they should serve complimentary buffet breakfast but it wasn't the case under this new management, they were only serving one plate for each person. Nor you and neither the new management informed us about any changes.
. Free daily bottled water as you mentioned on your website was not exist and was told to buy from shop.
. No minibar whatsoever, please, please update your website in regards to this hotel.
. So we decided to move out today and booked in to another hotel.

Good location, good deal for the price

Although the room was a bit dinghy, the hotel staff was great to work with and the breakfast was fine. Linens were clean and the view of the Europe/Asia bride from our room balcony was fantastic! Bus pickup to the tram was nearby as was a nice shopping area with plenty of coffee shops (even a Starbucks) and great outdoor restaurants.

Fantastic place to stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a brilliant area of Istanbul.

We chose is as we were taking part in the Bosphorus Cross Continental Swim and needed to be near the start/finish point on the river.

We couldn't fault the hotel at all. Friendly, clean, modern and the staff were lovely.

The hotel is halfway up a very steep hill, so that is something to bear in mind when you book.

Friends getaway weekend

Very very very friendly staff BUT very very very hard to communicate. Sadly I didnt get names but the only ones I could truly communicate with without getting frustrated was to a guy at the front desk who i found working there one night and the hotel manager who they had to call for translation when i was booking my tours.
By the way, their tours are pretty cool with great guides.
For location I would say its extremely close to where you want to be BUT if you are walking you must know that this hotel is on a hill.

Genel olarak memnun kaldığım bir konaklama oldu ama yatak çok rahat değildi.Temizlik iyiydi.Açık büfe gayet yeterliydi.Mutfak ın başında ki Hüsniye Hanım son derece yardımcıydı.Yaya olarak dışarı çıkmam gerektiğinde otelde şemsiye kalmamıştı.Hüsniye Hanım mesaisi bittigi halde kendi şemsiyesini verdi.Yardımseverliği çok hoştu.Mutfak açık mutfaktı ve çok temizdi.Otel ayrıca hayvan dostu.Girişte mama ve su kapları vardı.Lobby de kediler uzanabilmişti.Kimse müdahele etmiyordu.Bana göre tek sorun baştada belirttigim gibi yatak rahat değildi.

Das Hotel ist eine schöne große Anlage sehr sauber und nicht einengend. Der SPA Bereich würde von mir nur einen Stern bekommen. Es war überfüllt hatte keinen Ruheraum wo man nach der Sauna sich noch ausruhen kann.

Genel olarak otelden memnun kaldık.Otelin en güzel tarafı Ortaköy sahiline yürüyerek ulaşılabilmesi.Otelin önünde 4-5 araçlık park yeri var 100 M ilerisinde park yeri var boş olunması halinde aracınızı park edip toplu taşıma ile yer yere rahatlıkla ulaşabilirsiniz (park yeri yol kenarıdır) Ayrıca İETT otobüs durağı otele 100 M mesafe olması çok harika çünkü İstanbul’da araç ile ulaşım zulüm oluyor.Otelin kahvaltısı harika gerçekten.Otel personeli çözüm odaklı sorunlarınızı kısa sürede çözüme kavuşturuyor.Özellikle kahvaltı ve kafeterya bölümünde Hasan isimli personel çok güler yüzlü ve yardımcı kendisinin ilgi ve alakasından son derece memnun kaldık.Kafeterya da çok güzel bi bölüm iç açıcı.Otel Avrupa yakasınında konaklama düşünenler için konum olarak çok çok iyi.

Hotel is toch wel wat verouderd en mag opgefrist worden. Ontbijt elke dag hetzelfde en beperkt maar wel lekker.
Hotel ligt op afstand van de meeste bezienswaardigheden. In afstand met de taxi best te doen maar omwille van de file neemt het toch veel tijd en uiteindelijk ook geld in beslag. Maximum fix bedrag taxi naar bijvoorbeeld Hagia Sophia 300 TL tijdens een filerit. Zonder file rij je het goedkoopst met de meter, wat ze dan niet graag doen...

Resepsiyon ve çalışanlar çok ilgili ve yardımcılardı. Kahvaltısı gayet yeterliydi. Yatak nevresim havlu temizliği iyiydi. Odanın yerleri daha temiz olabilirdi. Tek sıkıntımız otoparktı. Otele yakın konumda ücretli 2 otopark var. Otele gelmeden otoparka park edip otele yürümeniz daha mantıklı olacaktır. Konumu iyiydi. Ortaköy cami çok yakın Dolmabahçe sarayı 30-35 dk yürüme mesafesinde. 1-2 gece konaklamalar için ideal bir tesis.

Odada 3 lambanın sadece biri çalışıyor. Çarşaf ve nevresim çok yakıcı bir polyesterden, pek rahat yatamadık. Duvarlar da çok ince yan tarafın sesi bayağı duyuluyor.
Ama boş yer olduğu için bize suit odaya koudular 👍
