Arrived late for check in. Informed the room I reserved 6 months prior was not available. Nothing done to rectify the situation that night. Have away all the 2 queen rooms that day before we arrived even though that is what I reserved).
No bottled in room (Hilton honors member).
No dry/clean towels at pool.

Rooms are very clean. Love the layout.A nice living room section so you’re not confine to the bedroom.A shopping center is conveniently located next to the hotel. But don’t go shopping. Go enjoy the beach and neighborhood. Lots to see.Beautiful lobby. Love all the greenery feels like a garden.

We stayed at this hotel the day before our cruise. The hotel was very nice and had a refreshing clean scent. They offer complimentary happy hour & snacks in the early evening. There is a restaurant on site. There are a couple coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. The only problem we encountered was requesting towels at 730a - didn't get delivered until 2hours later, after we went out to find some.

Did not find the airport shuttle, cab fare was only around $6.50 for 4 people! Short walk to a small strip mall,other wise it is on a busy Main Street. Shuttle to the port is a small fee 12 or 13 dollars. Nice place to stay before your cruise.

After someone looked at it, it was 80 degrees someone came up and said since the room was very cold ( I could of stored meat in that room)so someone bought up a electric heater which didnt warm the room out last night they offered to change our room I wasn't going to pack and repack and leave the next day awful stay

The pictures online do not match what you see in person. I found towels dirty that were folded had yellow stains. The staff is not welcoming or friendly. I was struggling carrying two babies and plus my bags and no one offered a trolley , the breakfast is free for a reason , disgusting and plain. I rather they would have charged me.

Elevators were so slow, took me 20 minutes to get downstairs. Breakfast ends at 9am and it’s a madhouse. Pool was dirty and murky. Housekeeping had to be called multiple times for more towels (was only given 2 in a room for 6).

Front desk was grossly understaffed at check in. Staff provided their specific but their customer service style was poor except for a couple of them. The woman providing food service at the pool was very pleasant. Also Carol at the front desk was VERY pleasant. One of the young men at the concierge desk was belligerent when asked for assistance.

Room was clean. Pool area was clean and pleasant. The hot tub has too much chemicals in it so several family members had their swimsuits damaged/color was bleached out.

Breakfast was great!

Only two of the five elevators worked which not only stressed people out but made us uncomfortable about potential emergencies. They remained broken during our two night stay and was still broken when we returned 5 days later after our cruise.

Clean room, friendly staff, they were very busy of course in peak season. I was disappointed there was no housekeeping after I had been gone all day and came back to a room that hadn’t been restocked with coffee, towels. I guess I was supposed to request it. WiFi was not good, I recommend upgrading to the premium WiFi.

The room was nice, there is a slight water leak in the tub. Staff was great. There was an issue trying to pay for the parking but the staff was able to fix it. The only real issue was that there is a bank of 3 elevators and at one point all 3 weren't working. Luckily the bank of 2 on the other side worked but everyone had to use it.

Checked in, washed my hands and found the sink filling with water. The stopper was closed so I tried to open it the handle completely came out.
Then we found the toilet wouldn't flush. We contacted the hotel staff. They asked if we would like maintenance to come up. (HELLO TOILET NOT FLUSHING) what do you think? We said yes but NOBODY showed up!!??? What kind of service is that? We even paid an extra $50 to get into the room earlier.
Needless to say we won't be back there EVER!

The water falls in the center of the building are beautiful. The out door coy pond is beautiful. If there is anything that I would fix is update the restrooms in the rooms.

The room was clean but felt outdated. The front desk clerk was a bit rude when we checked that 1am. I called at 11pm and spoke to the same guy to let him know we were on our way (everything was paid in advance) so don’t give our room away. We drove down from Virginia that day and due to traffic incidents we went 4 hours delayed driving for 18 hours. His reply was, “just so you know we are sold out for tonight.” I repeated my statement and he repeated what he said, I didn’t understand what that mattered. I asked did they still have our room but he didn’t answer. Breakfast was extremely chaotic. The various levels and steps make it hazardous to carry your food in both hands because crossing the little bridge I needed to hold onto something. Not sure I would return. We stayed there because we could get cruise parking which was paid in advance in O River but then we were bumped to another lot and the valets told us one thing but the parking folks told us another and the front desk person didn’t know what I was talking about and said, “talk to the valet when the come in at 6am” but in fact one was working at 1am. It was a terrible mess with the cruise ship parking supposedly at Embassy Suites. Better customer service is needed and everyone needs to understand how the cruise parking works.

The elevators were broken on both sides, wait times were ave 15-20min with packed elevators stopping on every floor. Staff also had to use these elevators and although I am sure frustrated by this, were not always nice. The bathroom in the hotel room was not clean at all. Bodily fluids on back of toilet seat etc. Most staff did not speak English. Valet was $41.00/day and you could not call or text for your car. You had to wait to get on the elevator then wait for the valet. The price ave was abt $400/night and not worth it at all. I did speak to a gentleman at the front desk but he couldn’t really do anything about the elevator situation. I had prepaid or I would have found something else. I have stayed at Embassy Suites before without any issues but will not ever return to this one. The room also had a plumbing issue with water leaking all over the carpeted floor. They do have a great breakfast included if you don’t mind dealing with the crowds and elevators or lack there of!

Very slow check in process at 7:00 pm. Only 2 employees at the reception desk. Hotel had 2 banks of elevators- each had only 1 operating lift. Took an hour to get down to the lobby in the morning.
