I would not recommend anyone staying at this property. It’s so run down, dirty, and in ill repair. The owners or investors of this property are only concerned with dollars not a great experience or how the property looks. The lobby is nice but this is definitely not an ART DECO HOTEL. Whoever has been rating this as a 4 or 5 star probably was not looking at the condition of the rooms. I have pictures to prove the condition of the property!!! Horrible and disgusting I promise.

Great stay! Will stay there again! Only slight issue was electric outlets weren’t working so hard to charge phones, etc. However, the the resort is great. Wonderful amenities! Great location!!! Loved the Starbucks there. Nice pooi!

This place is a circus. It's actually like four different, disjointed properties all called B Ocean Resort. Several room changes for our party were required due to broken items (ie. A/C, phones) and so we were forced to try to reach the front desk by cell phone. Any request we made, such as for towels since housekeeping never cleaned our room, were hit and miss as to whether or not they would come. I will never stay here again, nor will I ever recommend someone else to ever stay there.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
From the moment we checked in, it was a disaster. The front desk staff, especially Troy, was rude and unprofessional. We were initially given the wrong room, forcing us to return to the front desk to have it corrected.
Once we got into the room, the issues only got worse.
There were small roaches throughout the room, visible mold in the bathroom, and the air conditioning unit stopped working. When I tried calling the front desk to speak with a manager about these concerns, my calls were disconnected intentionally twice.
We booked two nights and ended up leaving a day early.
Troy at the front desk was especially unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing.
I would not recommend staying here.

We upgraded our room because the rooms there are so small and there is no space to unpack etc. When we arrived the woman at the front desk seemed so bothered and annoyed by me asking questions and checking in. We then find out that the main pool area is closed the on top of that the hotel ran out of clean towels. When I walked to reception, their response was \"we posted the pool closing on our website\" I do not check websites on a daily to check on things like this. We should have received an email notification letting us know and giving guests options to cancel the reservation. We finally get our room and waited a very long time for our luggage to then realize that our luggage and personal belongings have been taken off the luggage carts because they were short and had to remove our belongings to bring the cart for new guests arriving.... No one was available to help, finally a nice lady came and helped me find a cart to bring our things up to the room. We get to the elevators and only one elevator was working so it took forever to get up and down to the 8th floor. When we get to the room, there is such a nasty odor coming from the bathroom like sewer water it was gross oh and the door did not lock all the way. What else can go wrong? we had to wait hours for sheets for the pullout couch! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER they need to do a full upgrade on both hotel and staff. no one should ever treat anyone like garbage. never again!

The front desk staff were so rude. We checked in and were given no information and dismissed. They chatted to each other like we werent there. Everything on site is highly overpriced and you are charged auto gratuity for even one beverage purchase. The location and beach front was excellent. The rest of the hotel was disappointing and subpar at best.

My family and I stayed for 7 nights with two rooms. Pros - location and proximity to beach, paid buffet breakfast was good but featured food that was the same for entire stay, deep pool was quiet and clean, sheets clean. Cons - mid-week scared by someone aggressively beating repeatedly on our door at 1:00 am really scaring our 10 YO, required two calls to security before the drunk and disorderly person was stopped and let into the room next door. The person continued to yell and slam things within their room then ran their shower water for 45 minutes (paper thin walls), our room was not clean with carpet obviously dirty, furnishings dated and beat-up, heat didn't work which took 2 days and 2 people working on it before resolved after waking to a 60ish degree room, inoperable safe took 3 requests over 3 days to get fixed with a new safe finally being brought, two days no room cleaning with no fresh towels, had to request shower soap and tissues, paid room upgrade to ocean view allowed for a balcony view only when standing due to type of railing that obstructs view when sitting, Salty Siren pool had limited chairs, pool drinks were over $20+ each, lunch for two adults and two kids $185 (burgers for 2 adults, chicken strips for 2 kids, no beverages 18% mandatory tip included). Overnight mandatory valet parking is pricy at $57. Noted details of stay quality at checkout (when asked) without so much as an apology or offer of an accommodation. Won't be staying here again!

Room was not ready at 4:00 check in time. Front desk said they would notify us when ready but didn’t. Finally got room at 5:30 with no apology. Entry door would not latch correctly unless door was slammed. Dead bolt would not work. Safe not operational because of low battery. Curtains detached from rod. Ran out of toilet paper and tissue. Overall condition of room ok but not excellent. Restaurant and bar access and availability not communicated.Beach access was excellent and Sand Bar staff excellent. For price point we would definitely not recommend

checkin at 4 o’clock didn’t get in until 5 o’clock, which is absolutely ridiculous given a 4 o’clock check-in. Got to the room, dirty carpets, went to call for my car at valet and the phone didn’t work. They put an automatic gratuity on which is fine as long as the service is appropriate. Two times I sat at the bar and ordered lunch and dinner and both times I basically had to yell to get someone’s attention. This is an expensive hotel and I do not recommend anyone stay there.

The room was not in good condition. It had not been dusted, the handle to the sliding glass door was almost completely off, one light didn't work and the iron was broken so it leaked all over. In addition, we were not able to get into our room until almost 2 hours after check-in. Staff was pleasant.

My flight was canceled and needed some R & R....B Ocean was perfect! It's isuch a wonderful hotel with fabulous amenities! Love the pool and beach lounge chairs with an umbrella! Love beach side snack bar for a cool refreshing beverage! The mermaids and live music on Saturday night was fun! My ocean view room I loved ,too! Thank you for making my time there feel so good! I hope to come back!

Overall, B Ocean is a good hotel with a nice atmosphere and great location. However, the front desk experience felt lacking in customer service — it didn’t seem like guest concerns were a priority. Additionally, one elevator in the south building was out of service, which caused longer wait times. On a positive note, the poolside staff and bartender were very pleasant, welcoming, and great to chat with. They definitely made the stay more enjoyable.

The location is what really makes this hotel stand out from the others as it is right on the beach and you do not need to cross the road or worry about traffic to get to the beach. Blasting music at 745 am is not relaxing. People just waking up and trying to hear the peaceful crashing waves. It is so annoying and many people complaining music is too loud. Older people get up early. Partiers sleep in and don't even get to pool until noon. On 2-20-26 at 743 am I called the front desk to see if it needs to be on this early, a man stated he would have them turn it down. It never happened. Request ignored. Then called again and they said it would not be turned down. Next for the amnt of money we pay we shouldn't have to hike to go find the only microwave in the hotel on the 3rd floor of the main bldg and bldg across the street. Need one near ice machines at least in all bldgs. Can't even warm your coffee.
Very inconvenient. There should be one by each ice machine.
People consider all of this when deciding on whether or not to make this a yearly vacation.

The staff at the front check in were super helpful and kind. Expedia messed up my room that I booked. Expedia was supposed to book 2 double beds and a balcony but when I arrived they had a king and no balcony. The front desk was super helpful and was able to get me a double bed room with an amazing view of the ocean and beach.

I don’t know who called this a 4 star hotel. Maybe it was at one time. Maybe ICE came and took all of the staff. It certainly has nothing that a four star hotel has. There a two disgruntled staff members to check people in while everyone stands in line with nowhere to sit in the lobby. You can get 2 venti Starbucks for 30 dollars while you wait which makes paying 15 for the same thing at home seem really cheap! The entertainment is a constant stream of people interrupting to complain. When you finally get to the room you can tell it had been painted at some point because there was paint on the carpets, on the glass on the bathroom door. We stayed in a days in once and it was cleaner than this room. The carpet looked 30 years old. There was 1/4 inch of dust on the baseboards and cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom. The outlets did not work. There is no wifi. You cannot stream on their TVs. We stayed Thursday through Monday and had housekeeping on Friday only. We had to go get towels and toilet paper at the desk, which was an obvious problem for the staff by the heavy sighs we heard. We were in the hotel across the street. The door to the street was open, requiring no key. The elevator required no key. The doors were open and unlocked with access to the street. No cameras no security. There are two small pools with old dirty chairs to lay on. I could go on and on. Never again. We stayed at the HARD ROCK, a real 4 star hotel for the next 3 days. What a pleasure it was.

The lobby on Friday night was also extremely loud (music) and raucous.

The beach was amazing and the hotel has private chairs and umbrellas. Nicolas, the manager of the beach area, was super kind with fantastic customer service!

Once our cancellation period expired, we were informed of a $43 plus taxes charge per night. We ate in the Wreck Restaurant having confirmed the Mermaid Show would happen. It did not so we paid for a premium meal but did not receive the show. The room was cold and neither the air conditioning nor the in room electric heater warmed it up. A number of the electric points did not work. Will not be staying there again.

Pool deck and beach were great! Mermaids were a bit misleading... we checked multiple times during the suggested hours, but never caught a glimpse. Also, snacks aren't allowed on the beach unless you purchase them from the hotel. It was odd to watch people being escorted off the beach by security for having Publix pretzels in their pool bag.

Our breakfast buffet food was cold.we had to leave the beach early on sat because of a private wedding. No warning. Unfortunately I don't believe I could recommend this resort to others.

Friendly staff, but the hotel is old and my room specific was very cold (temperatures are really low these days. I turned up the heater, but the noise was really bad.
On top of that, the noise from the people at the pool and from the streets was quite disruptive.

The room had no fan so after people took showers our room was so sticky for the rest of the night. The beds were full size beds. It was $55 to park per night which is ridiculous! The pool was closed 2 of the days that we were there and same with the restaurant that was connected to it. We will not be coming back to that hotel.

First, I want to say the woman who checked me in was fantastic. She was friendly, professional, and I did receive a room upgrade, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the condition of the room itself was disappointing. I understand normal wear and tear, but this went beyond that. There was a lot of dust on the lamps—not just a little—and noticeable stains on several picture frames around the room. One behind the bed literally looked like handprints from nacho cheese Doritos. The TV remote barely worked, which was frustrating.
When I tried to open the patio door, the door handle actually fell off. It appeared the screw had snapped, which is a serious maintenance issue. While the ocean view balcony was fantastic and definitely a highlight, the glass patio doors were covered in fingerprints and smudges that made the room feel unclean.
To make matters worse, housekeeping knocked on the door twice without announcing themselves and then walked right in, which felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable.
The amenities, however, were amazing. The two pools, coffee shop, and gym were all great and very well maintained. I personally feel like more money has been put into the amenities than into updating and maintaining the rooms themselves.
What really adds to the disappointment is the price. The cost is comparable to a luxury resort, but the room quality and overall experience do not match that level at all.

Paid a luxury hotel price for what felt like a poorly maintained motel (much the building is a converted motel). While the staff was friendly, discovering that our room required outdoor entry was an unwelcome surprise and not clearly represented in the listing. The photos are misleading. The room had a noticeable mold smell, a bathroom sink that did not drain properly, and visible water damage with discolored walls. We’ve stayed in worse places, but not many, and certainly not at this price point.

Bathroom sink was beyond clogged. Took 30 minutes to drain each time it was used. All 6 outlets by the bed were so loose that they didn't maintain connection to any plug. The room had a musty smell to it. And the location of the soaps and handlebar in shower need to be re-thought. They stab you the entire shower. Such a disappointing stay. Room 380 go check it out
