We booked the room primarily for price $300 for 4 nights. If you’re expecting 4 or 5 star accommodations you should probably look elsewhere. The property was older and a bit dated but suited our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is relatively close to Lauderdale by the Sea and Wilton Manors. Uber rides to Wilton cost around $6 which was a good deal and it took us about 10 minutes to get to Lauderdale by the Sea (depending on day/time). The hotel is close to Publix grocery store and Dunkin Donuts which was also a plus.

My husband and I booked a room with one king size bed but our room's AC was broken so we got a two dobule beds room instead. The bathroom smelled like marijuana and one of the beds had a black stain on its bed sheet. I didn't want to touch anything there. We tried to find a cheap stay because we just had to sleep for a few hours before our flight, but we would find somewhere more clean and at least decent even though it would cost us a little more next time.

Front desk was great. Elevator was broken. Room was in poor condition. Torn drapes, missing trim, broken tiles. Hotel was quiet and I slept fine, but will not stay again. Details matter, and there is a happy medium between condition and price.

This hotel was ok. I didn't have high expectations. I needed an affordable room for 6 night and thats what I got. The housekeepers came daily. No one bothered me. There werent any shady situation that I noticed. There was lots of food options within walking distance. And access to public transportation practically outside the door. My only complaint is that the wifi didnt work for my entire stay. Luckily i had plenty of cellular data.

Horrible experience. We were given an \"upgrade\" to a two bed room..however there's NO AIR CONDITIONER RUNNING! it was extremely hot and what we had to do was first turn on the power switch then turn on the a/c ...then WAIT for the room to cool in the middle of July! Florida is extremely hot! The carpet is torn and worn, I didn't trust the bathroom, very dirty and the towels look worked out and dirty as well. Never again!

It was our second time staying there,the first time was our honeymoon three years ago. The hotel needs to improve their breakfast, and get the elevator fixed because it wasn't easy having to climb three flights of stairs with luggage, grocery, and baby.

One of the lightbulbs from the lights in the room did not turn on. The elevator was out of order and I was on the 3rd floor with 2 kids, suitcases, stroller and a car seat. A security deposit of $100 is req, given to you at the end of your stay if you don’t break anything. The bathroom had no bugs and the staff cleaned well everyday. Breakfast includes apple & oj, coffee, nasty muffins, cold bagels (but there’s a toaster to heat them up), Kellogg’s flakes and Fruit Loops, milk and sugar. There’s 3 tables to sit at. They have a pool but the filter was turned off and one of the chairs was broken in the back. They have good channels.

I booked a room with a king-size bed. We were given a room with two very small beds in it. Very uncomfortable. I was lied to by the front desk manager and told that it was a glitch in the hotels.com system. I was told by the hotels.com associate that they were told that there were no king size bed rooms available and they gave us a room with two beds instead. This is impossible as everything was done electronically. Hotels.com made everything right the Travelodge only made excuses

cheap place to stay just to sleep

our tubs faucet and shower head were broken. the tub had cracks and chips. the room had a funky smell to it. the blankets are old holy and tattered. need replacing. the sheets had cigarette burns in them and stains. the room had a fridge and microwave. we mainly need a place to shower to head to our next destination. we booked in online. it was the cheapest in the area.

I stayed here for 1 night before a cruise was a good location between Wilton Manor and Las Olas blvd. Needs updating: cigarette burns on sheets, drapes falling off walls, outlets broken, moldy shower curtains. The place was clean and had tv with cable and A/C, room was good size but the visible deterioration made it look cheap. Staff was friendly. No elevator working to 3rd floor and we had big luggage. Needs improvement to enhace the quality.

This motel does not meet expectations for a Travel Lodge. It is very worn and not maintained. The elevator was not working and had not worked for some time. The desk clerk said that there was no budget to fix it. Cigarette burn in blanket, frayed cushion on chair, totally inadequate offerings for breakfast.

Hotel is alongside a busy road, but we knew that and although the room was clean, comfortable and spacious it lacked the little niceties. Breakfast was more than a little cramped with just 3 small tables to cope with 40plus rooms! Our request at Reception for a bath plug could not be met, the concept of anyone wanting a bath in the bath was completely alien to the staff in situ! We coped Ok bur would we book it again, No, mainly because of the traffic noise and access from the hotel into the stream going past.

I was told from Expedia there was no extra deposit required upon check in. I was paying for the hotel for my son who had no credit card or money on him. When my son arrived at hotel, desk person said there was a $100 deposit which was stated in the confirmation email. The confirmation email reads as follows:

The below fees and deposits only apply if they are not included in your selected room rate.
The price shown above DOES NOT include any applicable hotel service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as minibar snacks or telephone calls), or regulatory surcharges. The hotel will assess these fees, charges, and surcharges...

The desk person said \"incidentals\" means a $100 deposit required at check-in!

Do not stay here!!

I booked this hotel because the description said they had roll-away beds available. I booked two full beds and requested a roll-away bed. When we got there, the front desk clerk said the hotel had NEVER had roll-away beds, and also tried to give us a room with two single beds instead of the full beds we booked. After complaining, he gave us the key to a room with two full beds. As soon as we walked in, we saw that plaster from the ceiling had COLLAPSED onto the beds and the floor. It was a huge chunk of plaster -- it took up maybe half of one bed and there was more on the floor. We got switched to another room, which was in bad condition. The carpet had holes in it, the plaster on the ceiling was messed up, there was build up on the toilet handle, the shower curtain was dirty, there was no coffee machine, etc. Also there was no wifi signal in the room at all and when we talked to the front desk clerk about it, we were only told that the wifi was working. This place was absolutely not worth the price.

Walking into the hotel room (by the way, check your door - because mine didn't require a key to open the door) you are overcome with the small of cat box and litter. Do not stay at this place if you're a professional

On the last day of the stay, I had to go to work and was unable to check out by the noon deadline. On the way to the hotel, I experience a car accident in hectic Miami traffic. Usually, a hotel would call or make an attempt to notify me as courtesy reminder of check out. However, by the time I made it to Travelodge, they put all of my personal items in storage.I felt violated and disrespected, the ideal thing would have been to charge me an extra day for the stay. As a business that deals with people on the move, they had no consideration or decorum. I will never stay at a Travelodge or anything similar to this establishment.

The Picture of the Hotel is retouched.

I always said it doesn't matter where I stay as I am in the room for such a short time. I will never say that again. We checked in and went to the elevator. It was broken. Due to knee issues I could not walk up 3 floors so had the room changed. Front desk very nice and helpful. Walked in our new room and the smell of cleaning solutions was so strong we had to keep the door open then buy air freshener to tone it down. Room looked OK. I went to put my Ipad in the safe and there were dirty underwear in it. (the safe was wide open I would assume the cleaning staff would look at it.) The bathroom seemed very clean - at least the bugs running across the floor seemed to enjoy it. As we got in the car to go out there was a used condom in the parking lot. I did see someone sweeping the lot so again I assumed it would be picked up - it wasn't for 2 days. Perhaps it was the holy condom that all other condoms bow to. In all, the staff was very nice but the building is a mess.

I was book with a room on the 3rd floor and the elevator did not work. Have to carry my luggage's up to my room. The A/C was filthy and loud. Once you turn it on you can see a quite of dusk coming out with that loud sound that wont let you sleep quietly.

This hotel was very nasty, dirty, smelled and just horrible. It's in a very nice location surrounded with great shopping and eating places. The bathroom blow dryer had hair and makeup on it, the chair in the room was disgusting, and carpet needs replacing. No one could use the elevator. It was propped open but not in use. There's three floors and we had to walk up three flights of stairs, there was no sign that it was out of service. There were more older people aged 65 and up in this hotel. Check in is at 1, I arrived after 3. My room on the third floor wasn't ready. Walked up three flights walked back down to the office to be moved to second floor. This is alot of walking and there's an elevator that's not being used or operable. The price was great and location was super, but the hotel room apperance: SUCKED!!!!! Next door to this hotel is an expensive car collections: Porsches, Mercedes, Ashton Martins, Bentleys, etc. Who wouldn't want to stay at this hotel. Great location but a horrible room stay.

We got in late...about 9:30 pm. Our group had booked 3 rooms. The A/C didn't work in one room...don't know why my friends didn't complain. Their tub didn't drain either. The 2 rooms close to the street were very noisy on a Friday night. The outdoor elevator didn't seem to work (only one). My friend killed a cockroach in our bathroom, but didn't tell us until we left.

The staff was good and the continental breakfast good...got us by until we boarded our ship.

Overall, the facility is old and run down. There is nice shopping within walking distance.

What a crazy neighbourhood . Don,t go out after dark. I witnessed sketchy behaviour in 3 businesses just east of the motel during the early evening.. someone tried 3 times to get into our room during the night. Wife was very scared. I stayed behind the door yelling at him. Looking at the people staying here and wobbling onto the property ...i think this probability happens daily. The poor guy behind the front desk...he is barely holding onto side of this overturned ship.Isn't there some standards to be called a Travelodge. There was a fresh slash mark on the bed cover from a very sharp knife or box cutter.
p.s. I felt dirtier after the shower and sitting on the bed watching TV then when checked in.

We arrived at night. People were lounging all over the stairs. Motley crew and that is being nice. No elevator so we had to carry our heavy bags up 3 floors. Asked for a floor on the 1st but nothing was available. Probably better since people were everywhere down there. We felt so unsafe that we moved the furniture in front of the door as a barrier and slept as far from the window as possible. Room was filthy. We wouldn't use the bathroom and bedding had stuff on it. We didn't research what it was but it was gross. If we could have found another hotel, we would have but we hunkered down behind our barricaded room and tried to sleep. Roach infested and dirty

I stayed about 30 minutes until I saw a cockroach walking along the desk. I checked out right afterwards.

Pay for what you get.

The staff at this Travelodge are great very obliging, gave us a later check out as we were going on a cruise.

The hotel is tired need some interior work but need a lot of exterior work.

In relation to the quality of both Australian and UK travelodges it is well below par. But as my title states you pay for what you get and at $100 per night Aussie its value for money.

The taxi fare to the cruise port is around $20 US so it is still cheap compared to hotels closer to the cruise port.

There is a Publix supermarket about 100 meters up the road so you don't have to chase a restrauant is you only want a snack.

You pay for what you get.

This motel is well below Australiantravellodge standard but comfortable.

As we were staying over night and at $100ausy it's ok.

The staff were excellent as we were joint a cruise ship they gave us an extra late check out and allowed us to use the pool after that. They order our taxi refusing payment for that.

The taxi fare from motel to Port Everglades we very reasonable.

I think my rating of this fits, would I use this again yes at the price.
