My birthday stay at Novotel during Carnival was nothing short of incredible! The staff truly made the trip, especially Lola and Cindy. They were so sweet and made us feel so welcome! From their constant smiles to the thoughtful birthday cake surprise at breakfast! I couldn't have asked for a better celebration. I can’t wait to come back!

I’m giving my rating based on price. The hotel could be amazing if they would just figure out a way to vent the bathrooms out. The rooms get so humid bc there are no fans in the bathroom that anything wet will never dry. It is a shame, bc the hotel seems to be renovated. Also the hotel has no contacts in the tourism business so if you want to do anything touristy, they have no clue.

Check in levou quase 30 minutos, entre verificação de documentos e liberação do quarto. Já no quarto, havia cheiro de mofo/umidade, as luzes na cabeceira estavam quebradas e/ou não funcionais. No banheiro, o teto estava com muitas moscas dentro do box, um dos pisos quebrados próximo ao ralo, chuveiro estava com a mangueira em pessimas condições e quase quebrada, chuveiro vazando água pelos lados. Fomos transferidos para outro quarto, o chão claramente não havia sido limpo (haviam papéis de bala/chocolate embaixo da cama e muita poeira), cofre não estava funcionando, a porta do frigobar não fechava direito, as luzes da cabeceira não funcionavam (ambos os lados), de novo cheiro de mofo no quarto. No check out, fomos cobrados pelas águas que havíamos consumido (valor acima do encontrado no cardápio). Tentamos pagamento em dinheiro e não havia troco, aguardamos quase 15 minutos e no final pagamos com cartão, o que não era nossa opção desejada. Funcionários não deram nenhuma importância para nenhum dos problemas. Muito decepcionado com o hotel no geral e a diária não é barata para o nível das acomodações.

The overall condition are ok, but i had a terrible experience at my arrival. Parking the car in front of the hotel to drop my bags and take inside the property, with less than 5 min my car was towed by the police, no warning from the Hotel. The person responsible to park the cars was in front of the Hotel, he saw all and no action...

Needs an update

I definitely wouldn't stay at this hotel again if I have another option. We had several issues: 1- the bathroom curtain had mold, 2- the sofa had stains (did someone pee on it?), 3- the bathroom door handle was loose, 3- you can't hang a Short dress without it touching the floor,4- they did not clean the room for 1 day, 5- they left only 1Towel for 2 people in the room, 6- the sink is tiny, 7- Wi- Fi is very slow. They gave us a disable room( which we did not request), and said that they couldn't change to a regular room. A nice employee showed 4 more rooms (for disable), but they All had the mold in the shower curtain, and sofas with stains. They did change the curtain and sofa, after we complained, and fixed the door handle. Breakfast is ok, but we saw an employee touching the faucet from the juice jar with his bare hand (no gloves).

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The service has a huge lack of service due to the fact that their employees do not speak English or any other language, only Portuguese. They also over charged us by mistake and it took a long time to get the reimbursement back.

Staff are the best

The staff are excellent, I have stayed in Novotels in other countries and without a doubt the staff in Rio de Janeiro will go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable, excellent. The hotel is clean and the food is good.
If you are wanting a beach holiday then this hotel is not the one, 40 minutes away from Coco Cabana and with the traffic it took 2 hours, however it is cheap to get taxis.

Convenient location for the Olympic Park

I stayed here 1 year before the Olympics.
I attended an international conference held in Rio Centro.
The location was reasonably convenient for going to Rio Centro.
On my way, I saw the Olympic Stadium, and I think the hotel will be good for Olympic goers.

Tudo bem até que o sistema de estacionamento pago, é confuso, tem que esperar manobrista com carro parado em avenida ultra movimentada, com sensação de insegurança.
Cabeceira da cama nao tem lugar nem pra deixae um par de oculis e um celular. Muito pequeno, totalmente insatisfatório.
Pia do banheiro entupida, so de lavar o rosto, tudo boiando. Péssimo!

Escolhi o Novotel Parque Olímpico (02 a 04/10) por confiar na reputação da rede Accor, mas vivi um verdadeiro pesadelo. Paguei R$80,00 pelo estacionamento com manobrista e entreguei as chaves conforme instruído. O carro, alugado e vistoriado pela locadora, estava em perfeito estado. No check-out, percebi que o assoalho do porta-malas havia sido manipulado — o estepe foi furtado.
O furto ocorreu enquanto o carro estava sob responsabilidade do Novotel. As câmeras nada mostraram, pois não há monitoramento no trajeto entre a recepção e o estacionamento, justamente onde os manobristas circulam. Esse ponto cego é uma falha grave de segurança.
A investigação se limitou à checagem das câmeras, ignorando o fato de haver discrepâncias enormes entre o tempo que cada manobrista leva até o estacionamento (de 2 a 9 minutos). A justificativa dada (“pode ser o semáforo”) é inaceitável.
Registrei boletim de ocorrência e tive de pagar R$1.166,67 à locadora pela reposição do estepe. Minha esposa, grávida, e eu passamos enorme estresse e perdemos um momento familiar importante.
Exijo o reembolso integral de R$2.200,00, incluindo prejuízo, estacionamento e estadia. O mínimo que se espera de um hotel 4 estrelas é segurança e responsabilidade — não descaso diante de um furto sob sua guarda.

Foi a pior experiência que tive na rede a qual utilizo em todo o Brasil, local extremamente sujo com roupas de camas sujas também, pedi para trocar de quarto e me informaram que não havia disponibilidade, enviaram um técnico para troca de lâmpada e do interfone e uma camareira para troca da roupa de cama, porém as demais áreas permanecem extremamente suja, em resumo foi a pior experiência que pude ter com o novotel.

Apesar de ter reservado para 3 pessoas, para levar minha filha de 14 anos, nao deixaram a cama extra pronta. Ai nao consegui ser atendido pela recepcao. Resolvi falando com as camareiras que estavam no apartamento ao lado. O acesso para quem chega de carro nao é legal, fica numa baia bem distante da recepcao. Poderia ter uma entrada para o estacionamento e acessarmos por la. No RJ nao é bon ficar com carro na beira da rua pegando malas.

O hotel é bem localizado e com recepção muito simpática do Pedro e Ary Anne. Sempre solícitos. Porém a moça do check out não foi tão simpática. Expliquei a nossa situação, com netinha prematura na UTI do perinatal e fui fazendo reservas diárias por não saber o dia da alta hospitalar. Minha neta teve alta antes do previsto e não me devolveram a diária não utilizada, apesar da promessa que resolveriam o problema. Por esse motivo não dei nota máxima, pela falta de compreensão.

Nossa estadia foi ótima. Apesar de não ser um hotel na beira da praia, levávamos apenas uns 10 min até ela. Fica em frente a um shopping, o que facilita inclusive para lanche e jantar. O café da manhã era bem variado e saboroso. Mas o que mais chamou atenção foi o atendimento dos funcionários, todos muito simpáticos, prestativos e educados.

Atendimento ótimo na Recepção. Apesar de ter pedido um quarto silencioso ficamos num de frente para avenida bastante barulhento. Colchão ruim e cama estreita mas com boa roupa de cama. O ar condicionado não possui aleta para regulagem e direcionamento do vento , o que faz com que o vento forte fique sob o corpo causando desconforto. O room serviçe é bom com preços justos. Café da manhã é sofrível, pouca variedade e qualidade pessima dos pães e bolos. O café do Ibis é melhor (hospedagem recente).Tem serviço de manobrista por 35 a diária.

Quarto minando água pelo piso e cheiro de mofo.

Resumindo, fiquei no hotel apenas para dormir pois estava indo para um casamento e assim que chegamos, ao entrar no quarto um cheiro de mofoas como estávamos mega atrasados, tomamos um banho e ao sair do banheiro notamos o piso úmido e achamos que fosse o vapor do banho, visto que a porta estava empenada. Sou alérgico e meu olho ficou super irritado naquele quarto mas fomos p casamento.
Ao chegar o piso estava minando água entre as juntas, por isso o cheiro de bolor, já era tarde e como íamos dormir e sair do hotel ao acordar, nem optamos em fazer a troca de quarto.
Um absurdo pois pagamos caro na diária, 420 reais, para um dia apenas e ficarmos num quarto sujo, fedido, porta do banheiro empenada, pia do bamheiro entupida e o piso saindo água sabe-se lá de onde.

No checkout falei com a recepção sobre e me disseram que era só ter pedido p trocar de quarto. Oi? Mas já não era para me colocar num quarto bom?

Enfim, não recomendo o hotel. Péssimo para o valor cobrado.

O café da manhã era muito bom, mas o quarto era deprimente.

Excelente estadia, atendimento na recepção um pouco demorado, pois havia apenas 1 pessoa para o atendimento, no entanto fomos muito bem atendidos! A recepcionista era bem atenciosa e cortês.
Limpeza pode melhorar, pois havia bastante poeira no quarto. Banheiro com bom espaço, espelho grande, boa iluminação. Quarto confortável. Café da manhã com boas opções, amplo espaço. Em geral a hospedagem foi muito boa. Recomendo e pretendo voltar.

Bom! Mas com ressalvas…

O hotel como sempre muito bom. O Checkin demorou mais que o de costume sendo que já tenho cadastro nessa unidade então teria que ser rápido. As toalhas do meu quarto horrível, o pano de chão da minha casa é melhor.

Horário de checkin péssimo

Deveria ser mudado o horário do check in. Tive que percorrer 30km desnecessariamente pq liguei e a funcionária disse que eu tinha que estar até no máximo 19h. Deixei minha família em um evento e fui fazer o checkin. Chegando lá a funcionária me informou que não precisava. Que poderia ter feito mais tarde era só eles anotarem lá.
