There is a very noisy building site next door and opposite an even noisier karaoke bar. So unless you stay in a room out the back you will be ready to leave after 24 hours.
The restaurant at the front is nice and it's an easy walk to the beach (but Venus Beach is much nicer). It's also an easy walk to the shopping centre. The male receptionist is way more helpful than the female one and helped me move rooms. You can't charge anything when you're not in the room as the electricity goes off when you take the room key out.

The room didn’t look like what the photos showed on Expedia. We asked reception about this and they said every apartment is different - the issue with this is that they only show one type on Expedia and so it feels slightly false advertising. Breakfast is fine but we didn’t like that people were allowed to smoke - we had to move tables as the smell from the lady smoking behind us was horrible. It’s also set on a busy street and whilst the listing says “soundproof” it really wasn’t. The room was clean and staff friendly, however. It’s a short 20 minute walk to the harbour. The air con works well. There is a small kitchenette but it’s not well equipped and tea towels/washing up liquid (the essentials) aren’t provided.

Highly Recommended! Excellent reception, very friendly informative and professional. Very good food with plenty of vegetarian options. Two great pools. Good location with many tavernas etc within walking distance, as are also Tombs of the Kings (about 750m) and the harbour (2k). We stay in hotels a lot, but this is the first time ever to describe a hotel as 'spotlessly clean'. Cleaning crew constantly working and the whole hotel and rooms were spotless!

This was a great option for our stay. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of options. The Staff were very helpful and it was in a good location for exploring. Only downside was parking. There were some paved spots adjacent to the hotel but the overflow parking was behind and was basically a rough gravel area that needed some attention and clean up. Would stay again

Booked this hotel last minute as a short break away from the uk rain.
The location of the hotel is really good as there are plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk, the shopping mall is approx a 5 minute walk and Pafos harbour between 15 and 20 mins.
The hotel is 3 star which is probably slightly underrated. The decor is good and everywhere is immaculately clean although parts could do with a bit of a makeover ie mirrors losing their edges, cushions in the living areas of the apartments and pictures on the walls
The staff are mostly very helpful and the bar staff are really friendly.
My only issue we had was on checkout day. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm and we’d asked if we could keep our room, which we were told was possible but to ask on the morning we were leaving.
As we left our room for breakfast on our last day we met a cleaner and she asked if we were leaving that day to which we said yes but we’re hoping to keep the room on. She checked on her hand terminal and told us that no one was booked in so she could see no reason why not, however when we asked the gentleman on reception, he didn’t even check their system and said ‘no’ and we had to be out by 12pm. We spoke to a few other people who were leaving the same day, and the same thing had happened to them. As they charged €35 to keep the room, this seems to be money they are throwing away for no reason.
They do offer showers in the gym but you can’t even book a time slot to use them.

Nice hotel clean spacious rooms. Good location easy to walk to many things. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast - lots of choices. The only downside was the noise as there is live music nearby every night until 11-12 pm and construction noise starting early at 7am.

Amazing, very happy.

Was a very nice hotel we're glad we stayed there we were only there one night but we enjoyed their pool have a good gym a sauna and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was amazing it had a very good choice. Location is perfect it is near to all of the other restaurants and all of the local sites like the harbour and the shopping centre and all the other beaches.

Terrible stay in a nutshell!!!

Cleanliness: The room looked pretty clean on the surface, but our eyes caught a bed bug on our next night and it was absolutely horrible, we became paranoid because the infestation of bedbugs and the fact that it can be carried with you in your clothes just ruined our whole vacation. We barely slept that night sitting on the chairs after paying for an apartment!

Security & safety: Horrific. The hotel is accessible by anyone and everyone. No security and the parking exit door was wide open and its right at an ally. You can only imagine who walks through this ally at night and can simply walk in through the exit door and wander the rooms hallways! After midnight, there was a woman crying for help in that ally and a guy cursing at her, both yelling! Just horrifying and on top of that the balcony door doesn’t lock!!!

Food: we only tried breakfast the first night and skipped it the second. It was so poor and everything tasted so artificial.

Staff: only the cleaning lady is nice. The receptionists can’t even pretend to be welcoming (except for on brunette receptionist who felt genuinely bad when we informed her about our experience, but that was the extent of it).

We simply couldn’t wait to get out of that place!! Would not recommend to ladies traveling alone especially if it’s a small group, nor would i recommend it to youth as the majority of the guests are 50 and the pool and facilities are just so poor to nonexistent.

For the price paid, this is an excellent hotel. The rooms weee basic but equipped with everything you need in an apart-hotel. It has 2 nice pools with sun loungers. Our room had a view of the pool and sea on the 3rd floor. Check in was smooth. You have little balcony’s with your room which is nice too with deck chairs table and parasol if it’s not covered. Breakfast was excellent considering it was also free with fresh cheese, meats, salad, fruit, yhogurt, bread, pastries and hot options like bacon egg sausage beans potatoes etc. and the juice was not watered down which I’ve found in many hotels which are higher rating than this! The location is excellent too; for every area of Pafos inc the bus stations. Also a bus directly outside to coral bay which is nice, but I would recommend a visit to the tombs and Venus beach which is a short walk from the hotel. There is a gym / sauna / hot tub but didn’t use these as we were so busy. Beds were comfy enough too, and the aircon works a treat which is nice. Some of the walls / doors could do with a little re paint, and the noise between rooms can be heard such as loud sneezing, but even with these two very minor issues ( as we had quiet neighbours ) I would absolutely recommend staying here for your pafos break.

My room was very small, bathroom excellent. There was a door adjacent to next door in the room indicating 2 families could be next door to each other, this was very bad as regards NOISE POLLUTION! You could hear everything! Day and night..
Will i stay here again? NO............. The breakfast buffet was okay. Drinks, cereals, fruit and bread.The meal itself was tasteless and just bland..

Despite requesting poolside balcony 2nd floor. We were allocated a roadside room. The noise of the traffic and karaoke from next door bar was loud and difficult to sleep through. Having said that the reception did give us an opportunity to change rooms when a room became available. We declined this and put up with the noise. The evening buffet and choice of breakfast was very good. The bed on the studio suite was very large and comfortable. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was great with 5 minute walk to the sea at Lighthouse Beach and access to the coastal path. Further to that 20 minutes walk into Kato Paphos and similarly the same amount of time to get to the upper part of town. The hotel was very clean with attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of tasty things to eat.The hotel does get a wide range of nationalities staying so one does have to be prepared for some cultural differences whether you like them or not. Also at the hotel is a very cool bar which is very reasonably priced. My only concern was the proximity to the road with road noise having the potential to disturb (ear plugs were the way forward for my wife, whilst it seems that I can sleep through it), so choose your room at the rear of the hotel. All in all, very happy to recommend this hotel and I would like to stay at it again or certainly in that area.

Very load and noisy during the night makes it hard to sleep
Two Kareoke bars across the road and adjacent to hotel playing load music until early morning every night. Reception staff we spoke to was unhelpful and uncaring
Woken in the mornings at 6.30 am by noisy pool cleaning staff shouting at each other
Room not cleaned properly. Toilet in room needs maintenance.
Even though two seperate pools, children's and adult, young unsupervised children were in adult pool , very noisy and splashing adults. Not relaxing at all. Sign regarding pool etiquette for Adult Pool use would be helpful.

We enjoyed our stay, especially my son. He was thrilled to see two swimming pools. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Wifi signal was excellent in all areas. Generally a very quiet complex. Our room was ground floor with garden view and easy access to the pool. This had one drawback though. Every night the watering system went on and sprayed water all over our towels and swimming suits which we placed earlier outside to dry. As a result, they were still wet in the morning. Finally, I was disappointed to hear that they charge extra if you want to have a late check-out.

Very nice hotel very close to paphos marina (15 minutes walk) and shopping mall (5 minutes).
2 small swimming pools. Breakfast o.k but not very tasty. Staff very kind and helpful. Especially Svetlana who was exceptionally nice.
cons- the front of the hotel is facing a main street and a very noisy pub with live music until 01:00. terrible! make sure to reserve a room on the back side, which is quiet and facing the sea.

Had asked for a double room but it was next to the pool with no privacy. The hotel immediately changed to a room on first floor with a sea view. The room is modern and very clean with great tv and the most comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is excellent plenty of choice both local and international. The public areas and bar are attractive. The pool area is cleaned daily. Many games for children who seem very welcome. Great location near bars and 15 mins walk from the port. All in a great choice.

Great experience in a relaxing and well maintained setting. Fantastic rooms with all modern facilities, great walk in shower and very clean and fresh new look.

We were a little disappointed that the sauna and jacuzzi were seemingly not in use during our stay, also the pool bar wasn’t not open even on the days that it was slightly warm enough to sit around the pool. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, lovely tempting things to choose from everyday and always enough to fill u up for the day.

One point about breakfast though, the area is very small and I dread to think what this is like during high season as it was chaos for us even in this quiet period. The buffet is right at the end of a very narrow seating area crammed with tables. It’s quite frustrating... also the staff, especially what appears to be the manager in his suit will stand and watch you eat for all meals... I think this is a Greek thing as it happened elsewhere to us too but it’s super annoying.

I paid Expedia in full for the room when I made the booking. When I went to check in, I was told I had to pay. I advised I prepaid and the receptionist told me that my card was only used to guarantee the room. I showed her my reservation and again I was told no I needed to pay. When I check my statement I have been charged twice for the room. I'm quite angry about this and the issue is still not resolved as the hotel has ignored my email so far. Also there was no hot water to shower in the morning. I was leaving at 5am to catch a flight. The water was freezing so therefore could not shower. I told reception and was rudely told there was nothing they could do about this. Shocking to say the least and a care free attitude. When booking a 3 star hotel, hot water is kind of expected. It would appear I was wrong. Won't be back. Lack of communication, charging me for a room that was already paid for and bad attitude.

Noise from nearby karaoke

We stayed for 3 nights with one night on Friday, our room 105 was facing side road and close to a karaoke restaurant. Ppl were singing till midnight and I couldn’t sleep with the loud noise. We requested to change room but this information was obviously not well communicated to the staff on the next shift and we were told it was impossible as the hotel was fully booked. So I stayed the same room for 3 nights. If you are a light sleeper, better avoid street facing rooms and ask for the pool facing room. The karaoke will be on every Friday and Tuesday.

Needed 2 nights hotel in Paphos; P.Vera fitted the bill. Modern, clean, comfy. Delicious buffet breakfast. Too cool to use pool but looked inviting. Only downside was that our room balcony overlooked the public car park and the main road.-see photo. Other rooms round the pool had great views.

Closed on arrival!

It was certainly amazing to arrive and find it closed for decorating . We had no prior notice. No phone calls or emails. The replacement accommodation was four kilometres from the chosen location and was not self catering. We therefore incurred additional expense in transport and eating out.

The Hotel was adequate and good value. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the room was not working even after reporting it to reception. No WI-FI connection although not overly important due to alternative sources nearby. The best point for us was the location. This was good for restaurants, banks, car hire etc. and the closeness to the harbour.

Friendly Staff, Great Location, Nice Hotel

The hotel is spacious, clean and tidy, breakfast was good, the amenities are great, the location is fantastic. I would recommend highly to anyone.

You get what you pay for.

We booked a superior studio but placed in a dreadful 1 bed apartment that overlooked a car park, we were moved upon request and placed in a standard studio The bed and room was compact but comfortable and offered good value for money for a 3 star hotel. There was no problem getting aunloungers by the pool and breakfast was usual compared to other Cyprus hotels we have stayed in. The hotel Is near to the big shopping mall and about a mile away from
Paphos harbour, there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and the hotel has a lovely bar attached that reflected prices of other local bars. Overall we enjoyed our stay and feel if offers value for money but you get what you pay for, next time we would probably book a 4 star hotel.

Excellent Stay

Room was big and modern. Staff cleaned every day and provided fresh towels. Bed was excellent - king size and really comfy. Air con and fridge in room were brand new. Safe provided was secure and modern too. Having an outside area that was not overlooked was excellent and gave privacy. 2 pools but both are rather small and not that deep. No issues getting a bed by the pool when we wanted. Room could be even better with a hob to cook on and maybe a toaster. Our room was at the back of the hotel so nice and quiet but I can appreciate why some people complained of the noise if they were in a room on the front of the hotel. Bar next door does 50% off happy hour 9-11 each night, good quality too. A lot of Russians stay here but didn't bother us (too much).

Honestly - amazing hotel to stay with family and kids ! We had very spacious studio, our kid has her own space and we had We had kitchenette, and since there is a mall with great superstore there - it was super handy to use it for stacks !
Staff - super friendly and helpful. Katya and Iveta - you are amazing !! Thank you very much for everything !

Very close to good beaches !
Very close to archeological sites !

Great hotel! 4.7 of 5 for me!!!

Great hotel! I have stayed there twice.
Loved the hotel, its location and the stuff.
Cleaning can be improved, looks like they make the bed and replace the trash, but don't really clean the floor or bathroom.

The staff at the reception was very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and the area was conveniently next to Kings Avenue Mall. On the minus side, the kitchen lamp was burnt and the third bed was a folding bed, not appropriate for an adult. Overall a nice place, which with a bit of attention to detail could get even better.

Very clean, looks like a brand new hotel. We found the previous reviews re the standard of breakfast to be surprising in that there was good choice, and the standard was fine. The breakfast room was always kept very clean, no plates lying around and the staff were only too pleased to help. Plenty of sunbeds and good quality not all broken as suggested in some reviews. Bar was good and 9 to 10 happy hour for half priced cocktails was nice. Reception staff were also very helpful, well done everyone.

Internet poor, no laundry room when i checked did not have the room i booked saying it was a mistake on the booking, no tea coffee making faciltys in the room, pool side bar not oped, initial room air conditioning not working..

Value for money and pleasent staff

Arrived at 12:00 before checkin time, and it was not possible get a room. Receptionist was very nice, kept out luggage in storage room and went for a walk. When back at 16:00, tired and just need a bed, we got a standard studio while a superior studio was booked. I immedietly got a keys to check another room and it was worst. Only after like 45 minutes for checking and waiting, i was told I have been upgraded to a one bed room apartment. It was a very nice gesture and I appreciate it, eventhough it would be nice to get the room book in the first plave! Staff is very nice, breakfast is rich, and location is great as well. Rooms are very nice and clear with fully equiped kitchen and refrigirator for guests use. Overall, the stay was very good. The cocktails in the bar though, too sweet, too much syrup...not the best eventhough prices are good.

Everything was great!

We were highly satisfied with everything during our stay in Princessa Vera. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff was always nice and pleasant. However, they could make the breakfast more varied. Except for this, everything was great!
