Fairwood is down the block, my husband and I went there for dinner and breakfast. There is a mom and pop yakitori shop, price is very decent. Bus and MRT are 2 blocks away. We only have to take A11 bus to take us from and to the airport. The room is big enough for 2 large luggage and we still have room to walk. But the bathroom is tiny. If you get sick easily cover your head because the AC vent is above your head.

The room is super cold when I entered, the air con was on at 19 degree, no help after turning off the air con or set it to 26 degree.

The gym is outdoor and at night it's cold and dark outthere, only dumbell and a bicycle.

They dont offer free tea bags, face towel in the room. kettle is dirty. they don't have water machine each floor, you need to go down to lobby to get water that's quite inconvinient.

The whole property is tired, still look modern however needs to be renovated, cleaness is the worst point, also room size, on the other end everything work as it shoud, the roons are complete with safe, very small frigobar, kettle, mugs, glasses, etc, the staff works hard to keep everything, I am sure they do as much they can, sorry 😞 not going to see me again.

Great Budget Friendly Accommodation

Convenient location to MTR and city buses with lots of cafes and restaurants around the area. Would rate it a high 3 star - low 4 star hotel. Rooms are adequate for a couple but layout is poor. Limited drawers and closet space to store clothes. The interior stateroom on a recent Celebrity cruise with the same floor space was better designed to accommodate storage efficiently.

The service from the staff was amazing. The only complaint was that there was a leak on our floor and it flooded the carpet and we had to walk thru that which made us bring water into room floor and made it slippery. It was not good for my 90 year old father. They should’ve not put any clients in that floor because the leak happened before we checked in,

Hotel was in a great location close to MTR, bus, grocery stores, restaurants etc. The hotel had signs of wear and tear.

MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTELS.COM. THEY REFUSED A PRICE MATCH WITH THE HOTEL'S OFFICAL WEBSITE CLAIMING THEY ARE NOT A DIRECT COMPETITION.

It was an unplanned staycation, we were trying to find a hotel can allow us to get away from the boring life. The hotel is located in a good location, just a few minutes away from the MTR station and there are a lot of restaurants available within 5 minutes walk. Generally speaking, the hotel is more suitable for business travellers.

At the time I stayed the hotel was ~270HKD per night for 9 nights. At the price it was an incredible value - the bed was comfy and clean, nice simple amenities like bottled water and toothbrushes; and simple but nice free toast and coffee in the lobby before 10am. They also regularly checked guests temperatures for safety during the COVID-19 spreading which was extra work for them but responsible. Only thing is to keep noise pollution down they downregulate the TV volume to 18/100 so if you want to hear what you’re watching you need to ask the front desk to change it. Overall for that price it was a super value and I liked it a lot. Really pleased with my experience overall.

I have booked this place for some friends a couple of times. The first time was a few months ago for my Caucasian friend from America. They were more yielding and didn’t make a fuss about checking in when my friend tried even without my presence.

Yet recently, I helped a South Asian friend book this place under my name. They were rude and insisted there were no bookings under my name even given sufficient information such as itinerary number as well as photo of my identification. I had to call expedia even during my work hours to tackle the problem which ofcourse they promptly clarified and handle the situation well. Only when the another staff came did they allow my friend to check in.

It’s very disappointing how they did not even try to investigate and the manner was rude.

It’s disappointing how discrimination among staff occurs and cause inconvenience on guests part which affected guests mood and reception experience.

Excellent hotel in the Fortress Hill area. We have stayed here 3 times in past 4 years. Only 3 blocks from FH MTR Station. Very convenient. Clean and modern hotel. Three elevator banks are fairly quick for hotel that has 30 (???) floors. Shower had very good hot/warm temp. Plenty of excellent Cantonese/Hong Kong cafes and restaurants. Also McDonalds, KFC, Jollibee, and Starbucks close by if you want franchise type. Continental breakfast is average.

A good option.

Always a decent deal. Clean and responsive when I need help. In HK a 4 star place can be an insult - rooms can be tiny - no they can be beyond tiny- designed for people half my size. Sometimes free breakfast is a plastic tray left in front of the room. IClub always has clean rooms and hotels. At 40-70 US dollars this is a good deal. Just the outlets.... sometimes you only have one hidden outlet. You think this hotel chain would have figured out people need a few outlets at their bed.

Hotel is in a safe residential area, many eateries surrounding it. Short walk from MTR station. Clean, modern, new. Room is not cramp for hong kong hotel standards. Room was decked out in all white. Sleek, toilet and shower area not too small but good enough to bathe comfortable. Highly recommended
