Building is old, staffs are good especially Ivan and Monica.
Although building is old but overall clean room, comfortable bed and quiet hallway.
The only star I did not give was they did not give me the 2 nights I booked but can not fly in time due to snow storm and aircraft issue. They requested me to have the letter from my airline to prove that my flight was canceled within 8 hours since Boston time is 13 hours behind, therefore no one can help in Boston it was off office hour.

Rooms were smaller than advertised.

When we checked in, I had paid $80 per night for a room that had 2 adults and 1 child than I paid for a second room for only 2 adults. But both rooms were the same, with 2 twin beds in each. Thus, I paid $160 more for a 2 night stay

I would avoid this hotel. The Park lane Hotel is close by and much nicer!!

Staff service is ok, not fantastic kind but every morning, there will be staff opening the ground floor door for us. There are 3 lifts but still have to wait for a while otherwise overall is fine. Room is quite small and kind of old room. Bathroom is choked. Anyway if you need a convenient location which is within walking distance to tram stop and causeway Bay MTR and more cost efficient, this hotel is a good option if you don’t mind the older hotel.

The hotel is a bit dated but still well maintained and in good condition. Room size is a bit small but the view from my room is great, seeing the Victoria park and harbour.i was injured during a morning run near the harbour, and hotel staff were very helpful, bringing to my room many band aids and disinfectant. One thing that requires improvement is the shower water pressure. The shower was very slow and took a wide to heat up.

Staff generally was helpful and good; overall the room was good and housekeeping was good too. The only complaint I have is that when the fire alarm went off one night at around 7:30 p.m., there was no announcement made through the PA system about what we should do and react. Theerfore, I wasn’t sure whether I should leave the room to go downstairs to the lobby or not. None of the occupants on my floor left their room either. I think this is a basic procedure for a fire alarm situation.

This is a great value hotel. The location is excellent as close to all modes of transportation. Easy walking to park, food and shopping. Good size room and comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good and tasty selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel has a really awkward entrance. You practically have to walk into a side street to get into the hotel. Unless you are on the high floors, your window is facing directly to a neighboring building that can see everything you do in your room i stayed there for 10 days with my curtains drawn 24/7. They claim this is a 4 star hotel, it feels like a 3 star in North American standard. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Please pay attention if you are from EU, USA, or Canada! A 4 star hotel in Hong Kong is not the same as a 4 star hotel in Europe, north America! Event though this hotel is 4 star, it barely reaches a 2 star hotel in European standards.

Why?
- rooms very small and smelly. There was a weird smell in the room ( not a pleasant one, I must say)
- cleaning standards were very low
- noisy, not soundproof
- breakfast with very limited options, always the same everyday - definitely not a 4 star hotel breakfast
-only 3 lifts and you might end up waiting 10 minutes for a lift!
-Staff not polite, they don't care

Some positives:
- good location, close to everything

Overall: if you are looking for a place just to sleep that is close to everything and don't mind lack of cleaning standards saty here

This I was really disappointed the service attitude and their after response. The room on top floor were terriblly small and the soundproofing were so bad you can almost join the whole conversation outside. I could see hairs on the pillows when I checked in the room. I will persuade others to make a reservation to this hotel.

Check in was terrible. The staff member I had served another person that pushed in and failed to maintain control of the line. Furthermore was extremely slow and had unexpected costs which they did not make clear on their website.

I would not be coming back here not recommend anyone chose this place as choice of accommodation.

The elevator wouldn't open and we were locked in there. Hotel didnt call fire department to rescued but called elevator company. Hotel manager avoided our questions and hung up on us many time while communicating on the elevator speaker phone. We were locked in the elevator for about 45 minutes.
We had a terrible experience.

The deluxe suite was very basic and dated, you get bare minimum. Services were more like a hostel, nothing excited or memorable. Staffs had no emotions, you felt like serving by a bunch of robots. We were surprised to learn that it is marketed as \"4 stars\" hotel. It locates in a small alleyway near causeway bay where even the taxi drivers were not sure about. It is not convenient to get to hotel by foot or by taxi. Not recommend at all!

We were upgraded to the top floor for free. Room was spacious compared to regular rooms you get in HK and comfortable. Place was clean, breakfast was good, staff were friendly & helpful, and accessible to bus/tram/MTR. The only catch? It takes a while for the elevator to get to & from the 33rd floor. :) I would book there again.
