This hotel is situated near time square with walking distance access to restaurants and tourist spot. Room isn’t big and your suitcase will take most of the room. No desk and tight physically. It’s great stay if you there just sleep and head out most of the day. Don’t expect luxury!

Overall, the courtesies of staff with different positions is excellent and helpful to overcome questions whenever customers concerned. The drainage system of wash basins, showers, and toilet bowls of most rooms need to have maintenance to facilitate the functional purposes. However, this is a good hotel with this price range to be recommended.

The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The room and bathroom were bright, spacious and comfortable. The pillows are too soft though they called them firm pillows. They gave out new sleepers everyday. The elevators were fast and big. A couple families could bring in their luggage, and there's still room for other guests to get into the elevators. There're 4 different sets of breakfast for guests to choose from. They change their breakfast menu on every Monday. They didn't charge for storing your luggage as long as you had made another room reservation after you returned from your trip. They have self-served laundry washer and dryer.

This hotel is in a convenient area of Causeway bay. The staff are helpful and friendly. When we checked in, we found our room to be unclean and we were immediately switched to a clean room. The two twin bed room was quite small for two people plus luggage. The breakfast was a choice of several set menus plus coffee or tea and juice. We did not pay extra for breakfast which was nice, but it was not to our liking.

This hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was small. Two slightly annoying things…the wifi was spotty and often in the middle of using it we would lose service and have to log back on. Second, there was only one outlet for charging a phone on the night table between two beds. The breakfast included was a choice of 4 set options with a glass of orange juice and tea or coffee.

Excellent location, but not like other hotels, they don't have breakfast buffet, they only provide 4 sets of breakfast. Portion is small. 1st night bedsheet and pillow case is smelly. It's okay after changed.

We booked and paid for our hotel room last year, front desk asked to pay back new government tax which implemented from this year that I think is unacceptable.

For the most part I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn. It was in a very convenient location just off the A exit of the MTR in Causeway Bay. Check-in was easy and Vivian was a great help. Staff were kind and I enjoyed the breakfast every morning.

The cons of my stay mostly stem from cleanliness. I noticed that after the first few days not all of my towels were being changed or replaced which was fine for the most part but a bit strange as they had been at the beginning of the stay. My biggest gripe was the bedding was never changed despite some visible soiling/stains? Worst of all, I’m suspecting that I actually contracted some bedbug bites from my stay here that is really alarming to me.

Overall, I’d consider staying here again if there were significant improvements to cleanliness and upkeep.

Visiting family and friends in Hong Kong

Excellent location right next to subway station off a narrow side street. Safe area. Reception staff professional and efficient. Room is reasonably sized though I did pay a bit more for a larger room. Room is tired looking in need of some renovation. Reasonably clean. Wifi is good. Included breakfast gave a choice of four set meals, passable, but on the small side as far as portions go. As a result I ate in one morning and forfeited the offer for the rest of my 12 day stay.

Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay, Hong Kong is a conveniently located hotel, very close to plenty of good restaurants and shopping options. We were warmly greeted by a lovely and efficient receptionist, Vivian, at check-in. The room was a good size and very clean, and housekeeping was efficient and thorough.

However, we were disappointed with the breakfast experience. The staff seemed rushed and often engaged in loud, personal conversations, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. I couldn't help but feel that the restaurant felt more like a staff room than a place to enjoy and relax. The food was lukewarm.

Excellent Location: The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the MTR and buses, making it a great base for getting around the city.

Great Laundry Facilities: The laundry room is well-equipped with user-friendly washers and dryers, which makes handling your laundry during your stay very convenient.

Cons:

Safety Concern – Elevator: The elevator doors close very quickly, and the sensors do not appear to function properly. We were bumped by the doors several times. This could be dangerous, especially for children, seniors, or individuals with mobility challenges.

Bathroom Design Flaw: The faucet and sink are poorly installed. The position of the tap often causes water to splash outside the sink, which is quite inconvenient.

Uncomfortable Sofa Bed: We booked a room with one queen-sized bed and a convertible sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was not comfortable. If you’re traveling with more than two people, you might consider booking two rooms for a better experience.

Crowded Elevator Area: Due to limited space, the restaurant staff moved folding screens in front of the elevator doors during breakfast hours, which can cause congestion and potential safety issues as people exit the elevator.

Limited Breakfast Options: Unlike many hotels that offer buffet-style breakfasts, this hotel restaurant provides limited choices. I was told the breakfast menu only changes every 7 to 10 days, which may not be ideal for longer stays.

The location is superb just directly opposite Times Square. The hotel reception is one of the best in Hong Kong that I experienced. I was served by Tiffany who is all smiles and very customer oriented. The breakfast set (4 to choose from) is average but included in the room so no complains. Rooms are dated but clean and functional with a sofa bed. The fabulous customer service (including house keeping) and good location of hotel more than made up of those short falls.
