Clean room. Quiet. Excellent staff support as I had forgotten the combo for my luggage. Front desk staff came with 2 maintenance staff to help with my baggage lock issue. This was done promptly within 5 min of my call.

Booked the junior suite 3 nights for 2 adults, one child 3 years old and a baby 4 months old. The room was big enough with a separate living area and a crib as requested. But the room was freezing cold. The control for the temperature was not working at all. The mother and two young ones only stayed for the first night and moved away. Told the hotel and they brought a heater on the second day which was better but too loud. So the mother and 2 kids didn’t stay for the other two nights. None of us had the breakfast and afternoon tea too.
Hong Kong is not a cold place. How could that hotel room be so cold? The two young kids are having fever now. Hotel has a convenient location but will never go back. What a waste of money for paying a suite that the family of 4 couldn’t enjoy and even moved away after the first night.

We stayed at the Novotel for 6 nights this time. Staff was willing to help and accommodating on late check out. A concierge staff even checked with the taxi driver to make sure it is cheaper than Uber when we headed back to the airport. Hotel location is also fantastic - in Wanchai and close to CWB.

I would especially like to commend Paul, the Concierge, whose outstanding service truly made our stay exceptional. Paul went above and beyond in assisting us with navigating Hong Kong, providing excellent recommendations, clear directions, and valuable local knowledge.

In addition, we were extremely grateful for his thoughtful assistance regarding my 100-year-old aunt who visited us at the hotel. Paul kindly guided us on arranging a handicap-accessible Uber and helped ensure we could comfortably reach our specialty restaurant. His patience, attentiveness, and genuine care were greatly appreciated.

The main corridor of the floor is smelly due to poor ventilation. The carpet is worn. The room furniture is very basic. Every time when other guest close their door, my door will make knocking noise due to air pressure, but for the first day I thought someone is knocking at my door. I would expect more from this rate.

We stayed at Novotel from Nov 15 to Dec 4. The location was close to various means of transportation and restaurants, some with Michelin status. We have a good size room but was too close to other buildings with very limited view so we closed our curtains most of the time during our almost three week stay. Air conditioning inside the room was good but the corridor was very stuffy especially when it was hot outside. Sony at the reception was very helpful in ensuring that our son’s family, who arrived a few days later, would stay at the suite on the same floor as us. Paul from the concierge was also very helpful as well. We are happy with the service of all the housekeeping staff during our stay. We did advise the reception about a likely clog with the sink in the bathroom but not sure if anything was done to fix the problem as the issue persisted all through our stay.

The hotel is beautiful, in a nice area where you can walk to a lot of places & the hotel staff was great. The A/C worked great which is a big deal & the shower and water pressure was great especially since I was on the 22nd floor. The King bed was great especially after being in Japan for a week. The pillows were great and everything was clean. The room is a little worn BUT the view was amazing and I slept well.

However there was a musty & damp smell on the entire floor & especially in the room. There were dehumidifiers in the hallway & in the room so there was some issue they were working on but I would've preferred them not putting people in those rooms. Running the dehumidifier for a bit helped in the room but I hope they get that dealt with because everything else was good.

The stay was nice. Great location near tue harbour.
Lobby was really nice, staff were friendly and very helpful.
Buffet breakfast was great.
Room was smaller than expected.

What I would like to point out was the corridor of hotel was dated and the old odour of years of smoking still trapped in carpet.
The room itself was fine and no issue inside the room.

Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms look much nicer in the picture than in reality. A strong musty odour and they are quite small. Not a room I could spend a lot of time in working - which is what I was seeking. The lobby is as pictured, quite spacious and lovely. The bar is smaller than pictured,or at least, felt smaller upon entry. Breakfast was good - not as much variety as other hotels I've stayed at but has your basics.

A little rough around the edges, but makes up for it with a super convenient location next to the convention centre.
Only real complaint is that the breakfast food quality wasn't what I'd expect of a Novotel, a great range but many of the food items were passable at best in taste/texture.

the room got very unpleasant odor. That’s why they put purifier and dehumidifier in each room and aisle . When I checked in, I was waiting for 10 mins . All three staffs were enagaged to help Caucasian guests. When it was my turn, it was less than 1 min. When I carried my big trunk luggage, the two doormen just looked at me and chit chat , they didn’t even bother opening door for me. The desk was unbelievable dirty. The location is not really near the mtr. I fell sick after staying here

Novotel Hong Kong Hotel provides nice, affordable rooms with excellent breakfast and easy acces to Metro Lines, Hong Kong Airport Express, Star Ferry Lines, Hong Kong Convention Center, and restaurants. It also has an above average gym with weights, aerobic machines, and a pool. In a market that can be very challenging, it provides excellent value and excellent customer service.

Great time in Hong Kong staying here

Hotel is in a convenient location, close to shops, restaurants and the MTR station. Decent interconnecting rooms with safes and excellent air conditioning. Rooms were clean with comfy beds. There’s a good gym and swimming pool. Staff were very helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

I really enjoyed staying in This hotel . The cleanliness, from lobby with comfortable seats and the most gorgeous scent throughout the hotel . We ate at the seafood Buffett which was great but not really good value for money and NO western options which was not helpful dining with children .
I used the gym everyday it was perfect ! The pool opened late during the day and needed a bit of updating around the pool area .
The room was cleaned to a high standard everyday and the front desk was so helpful when i needed to add more nights to my stay !

Adequate option for a 3 or 4 night visit to Hong Kong.

Hotel itself was okay, room a little on the smaller side, facilities lovely.

We travelled by train from the airport which wasn’t too much of a drama.

I did note the hotel suggests they have a shuttle service but my experience was this is not the case.

Staff were polite and helpful.

The room was quite small and there were some parts where i felt it was not super clean especially in the breakfast area. I returned a dirty dish back to one of the staff. But the location is nice and close to the pier where you can take Star Ferry, and a walking distance to Wan Chai MTR station.

The room looked worn out and dated. Especially bad was the smell in the room. I t smelled like cigarette smoke and I reported to the front desk. I assumed they applied some kind of cleaner but the smell persisted. I reported again the next day and I was not sure what they had done for the odor but it was still there albeit not as intense as before. The whole time no one bothered to contact me to follow up on the issue.
