The room was small. Crowded. Linens not changed.
Refrigerator is non existent; only a small,less than a shoe box which did not even cool. Would not recommend the place unless person wants to go to market everyday.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room that has enough space and stunning views. Bed was a little hard but we got used to it and ended up liking it. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were terrific. Staff were efficient and polite. Great location in Causeway Bay close to buses, trains, shops, and restaurants. Good value and would stay again.

I expected a small room which is common in Hong Kong but this is the first time ever that I had to go shopping for my own towels while staying at a hotel. The ones provided by the hotel were translucent. So thin and sheer that they were useless. Overall, the rate was very affordable so I guess I was Ok to buy my own towels (but I really shouldn’t have to!) the staff was friendly and helpful. And the location is great.

The room is small, old, uncomfortable. The pricing is predatory -- I needed to stay 1 extra day, and they charged me 3X my original rate. Sure, I understand the \"demand pricing\" but in this case they didn't even try to see my perspective of feeling trapped as I was settled in my room and little vacancy around the neighborhood. Sure, they didn't cheat me, but I feel bad about this hotel. I will not hesitate to identify their other shortcomings. This is really an awful hotel and the nearby Holiday Inn express is much better and usually for comparable price. Another shortcoming is the immediate neighborhood feels like a slum. You enter at ground level and have to go up to a 3rd floor old musty lobby to check-in. Have I mentioned this was a bad experience?

Room keeper seems like can not understand English. Difficult to communicate. When I was in the bathroom, she came in to my room suddenly. It was so surprise 😳 I said from bathroom “hello I don’t need cleaning my room” three times but no response, I had no alternative, but after I out the bathroom, I said ones again, she frowned her face and went out from my room without any apologize. Except this, hotel was good basically.

The location is excellent – right in the city center, close to the MTR and very convenient for tourist spots, shopping, and dining.
The room and bathroom are very small, but manageable for a short stay.
However, several unacceptable issues ruined the experience:
• shower curtain that billows inward and sticks to the body during showers.
• Water leaking from the bathroom ceiling, dripping onto the vanity – I had to request towels to mop it up.
• Persistent musty smell in the room (likely from the leak), forcing me to buy air freshener.
While the location is a big plus for budget travelers, the hygiene and maintenance problems make it hard to recommend. Hope management fixes these soon.

First they put it in a room on the 9th floor. Room was not clean. No bath towels. There was only 2 small thin thin old towels. I was sick with food poisoning and had to extend my stay in the hotel until I feel better. I booked 3 more nights and paid more to get a better room. But they kept me in the same room. I told the manager I paid higher to get a better room, but he said the entire hotel is fully booked. I told him that my room says it should have a city view and pointed towards the window saying \"this is city view\". He was pointing to an old building blocking any view of the city.

Upon checking in front desk told us no breakfast cos we booked online thru expedia. So whats the difference and he can't explained well. Next day i asked front desk \"wifi too slow\" and i asked her to help me and she just told me to reset my phone. Did not able to help me.

I didn’t like the fact that I asked for cost details to airport and I was given the most expensive options. I also did not like the fact that the staff was rude enough to talk about me in my face in the local language not knowing I fully understood what was being said. The room had a smell and they told me to turn up the a/c to avoid it

Nothing close to the review ratings, nothing like the pictures shown. No service, No help. The hotel said it never heard of the request of a vase for flowers! The front desk staff told me to buy a vase myself! That's not a 3.5-star hotel treats its guests! The housekeeping staff helped me by providing a trash can for my flowers, so that the flowers won't die off with no water. The front desk staff said the hotel cannot provide more than one trash per room. Actually, there are 2 trash cans in the room, one for the bed area, another for the bathroom! This Best Western is nothing like the one I stayed in London.

Unfortunately there were cockroaches in my room. Thankfully, the staff allowed me to live to another room that was slightly better, but still felt unclean. The building is old and musty, and not well maintained. I would not recommend this place.

Hong Kong is a crowded city on an island. So, having small room size is understandable.
Good part was the check in staff gave me the room at 1130 instead of 2pm stipulated time.
Not so good parts - many. Breakfast service was just about acceptable, not really good.
In room amenities were none. The hotel claimed water bottles are banned as per govt regulations, which is so very difficult to understand.

Hotel was conveniently situated for me, but entrance was on a backstreet with room for taxi to stop, and reception on 3rd floor. My room on the 25th floor was adequate but small, ensuite bathroom was fine, and working a/c much appreciated. I only tried the breakfast once - limited choice and terrible coffee. But plenty good pastries in local bakery.

The location of the hotel is close to busy Times Square, perfect for shopping and dining. It is also close to transportation.
I appreciate the daily house keeping. However, the entry to the hotel is a tiny back door of the building . I wish there is a clear and big sign of the hotel name on the door.

General Best Western are about three to three and half stars in the U.S. But this Best Western is more like a Four to four and half star hotel and the price was exceedingly well price and best value for your money. I was a little worried when I read all the negative reviews. One even said this property gives Best Western a bad name. Ummm. I assume you’re not from the US since this is the nicest Best Western I’ve seen. If you want a hotel with large rooms, you can always pay above $300/ night at a 3.5 to 5 star hotels.

Just like all big city 3stars and below hotels in Tokyo, NYC, London, Singapore etc, rooms are always small. This property has small rooms but not too small. I haven’t hit my ankle or knee cap on anything in my 7 night stay. They have 4 fast elevators running non stop from the main lobby (3rd floor to the top floor). There’s only 10 rooms per floor.

The minute you approach the front desk, the staff are very attentive, friendly, helpful and accommodating. When you walk in your room, the room is very clean and looks amazing for a hotel that’s over 10 yrs old. The body wash and the conditioning shampoo are not bad at all. Sheets are very white and stain free. The air conditioner works really well cooling down the room and runs 24hrs a day.

Yes! The mattress is very firm. If you want soft mattress, don’t know if they have an option for that. But the towels are clean and large. Water pressure is strong. I just wish the light above the sink is brighter so I can see better while shaving.

The location is perfect for me. It’s located on one side of the bridge where all the local hole in the walls are at and the other side of the bridge is Time Square shopping mall/area.

I found that the hotel was just not up to par with the best western name. Towels were literally face cloth sized. Hotel rooms were dirty with mold forming around silicon seals in bath tub. Hotel walls and windows just doesn’t look like it’s been maintained at all. Air condition was minimal to no cold air. Best part was the staff which gave great customer service. Management needs to step up and re-evaluate their facility as it is truly not up to par. I made the decision to move to a new hotel on my 2nd night out of a 5 night booking.

For the money it's not too bad but it's definitely a compromise. The place is average or worse for cleanliness and it is very dated. The streets around the hotel feel like a dangerous ghetto but it's actually safe and only a few blocks away you can buy a $10,000 purse at Louis Vuitton. That's just the way HK is. They also don't have the breakfast buffet that they advertise. On the plus side, the location is centrally located for activities and transportation.
