A great reception from the start, staff super friendly and helpful. The room was well preented, spacious and clean. The room had armchair for resting, nothing worse than a room without a chair/lounge after a long day of sightseeing. The buffet breakfast had great options for local and western tastes alike. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location.

Good location but some minor hiccups

I arrived very late because of a long flight delay. However the staff member who checked me in was quite friendly. However they neglected to take a deposit on the room so every time I wanted to pay for something in the hotel they would demand I pay immediately. This was actually the hotel's mistake, not mine, and I remember this happening the last time I stayed in 2019. Also the staff need better training in English. My key card stopped functioning twice in the first 48 hours. Despite this being the primarly issue, the reception desk staff member kept inquiring as to whether I wanted the room cleaned. Better training is needed here as well.

A amazing well run and managed property. We had bussiness at US embassy which was a couple blocks away so a easy walk . Its near the National Monument park and national museum. Also walking distance to resturants and grocery stores.

Asked for a queit room but reception put me facing the main road and next to the storage. Loud noises on a Sunday at 8am from upstairs which I asked for them to check but it took them an hour. Safe wasn’t working and phone cord was broken. Could have been a good stay but unfortunately it was not with all these issues

This is a clean, modern hotel that caters to business as well as pleasure travel in Jakarta. The location is excellent for walking to prime sites and ease of access to all parts of the city. The staff in particular are extremely friendly and work hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Special mention to Hayati, Sisil, Dinar, Aby, and Mr. Darmadi. I will be returning. Just be more careful when you are have beakfast. My wife experience consecutively 2 time in a role having food issue. Was having breakfast in the hotel and when my wife bring back some cake to the table I notice one pcs of cake has fugus on it after the first incident whle she was eating her bread with jam , nearly swallowed a pcs of glass believe a chip glass from the jam bottle.
On our last night no thought the manage are very oppologic with the incident we have our diner in the hotel and the manage decided to compliment the bill for us. Unfortunately the diner also have an issue we found a strand of hair in the food which we are really upset we didn't make any complaint about it and didn't finish the food and went to bed.

The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The restaurant is a good value for the quality. The breakfast was fine. The room was nice and clean. The pool is less desired like being in a fish bowl. The hotel location is fine. Walked around the monument and walking distance to chills restaurant which was vary good.

It is a good hotel. Very good located. Facilities looks ok. kind of new. They could improve some stuffs like having a bigger TV or better pillows, considering that there is not view to anywhere.

The staff was not helpful at all. Not helpful if you are a tourist. One of the staff instead of help guide us to an scam.

Breakfast is just ok. If you have the opportunity to save some money for that do it. You could get better options outside.

Jakarta is a ok city not sure if I would go back. This hotel experience gave me more an idea that maybe that city is very difficult even to enjoy it.

At first i didnt really like the hotel but as time went on my experience improved.
The friendliness of the staff grew as my familiarity with the staff grew, only after a few days several of the staff had remembered my name.

My one compliant was the lack of storage (wardrobe) in the room, even though i stayed there for one week i was always living out of my suitcase and never felt at home because i couldn't unpack properly

The hotel was clean, good central location, taxis always available outside.

Great Location!

Spacious room. I got the most basic one. Gym was small with 2 x threadmills, 1 x cross trainer, 1 x stationery bike, weights and a machine which you can do some shoulder press, chest press, quadriceps area etc. Breakfast spread was small but sufficient. Great location! Only less than 5 mins stroll to National Monument (Monas). Once there, you can walk to Gambir Railway Station, Juana Transjakarta bus stop, Bank Indonesia Transjakarta bus stop, Istiqal Mosque, Kereja Kathedral (Catholic Church) etc. If you arrive at night, I say just take the taxi from Gambir Railway Station. It should cost you around 40,000 rupiah (no meter). If you arrive during the day, a taxi ride should be around 20,000 rupiah by the meter. The National Monument is a very big square so to travel from one side to another by vehicle takes more time as compared to walking.

Great business hotel with charming staff...met high Western standards and was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my month of travelling in Indonesia. Is within walking distance to the Indonesia National Museum which is definitely worth a visit if you're interested in the arts and culture of Indonesia's many ethnic groups.

A nice, new hotel. It was clean and the room was an alright size. I couldn't figure out how to turn off a light though so I had to unplug it. The shower also stank of sewage for about 10 seconds each time I turned the water on. Other than that, it was great. Food and shops were just down the street and it was is a good location.

A mixed stay

My stay at this hotel was ok. It was a great location for walking to the nearby slights. I stayed here a few days after the recent terrorist bombings and creepy people on the street kept asking me where I came from I usually ignored them or lied to protect myself. The hotel staff was fairly friendly but had trouble understanding me. When trying to eat in the dinning area there were tons and tons of mosquitoes and I was eating inside. The a/c worked too well and made me sick.

Love this hotel.it's in the middle of the city.

Four of us spent the weekend in Jakarta and we were all impressed by Mercure Jakarta Sabang hotel: the price, the room size (though we plumped for the largest room), the cleanliness of the hotel and the location. It's not necessarily the best location compared to many 5* hotels but it's convenient and easy to get blue bird taxis. If any of us returned to Jakarta I doubt we'd think twice before going back to this hotel.

The Security very nice and very helpful. Reception very helpful. Its was nice place to stay. I will be back again.
The negative from this place only swimming pool . Very small and next to restaurant and while you in swimming pool people can see you through the reception.

Fair new Hotel, locationwise nearby the amenities, famous foodstall area (Sabang) and connection to major train station (Gambir), where the airport bus also stopped. The receptionist is ok. When entering the room itself, it's clean and good arranged, but rather having humid smell. Having unluck not to taste the breakfast, because need to catch early flight and cannot move forward. The breakfast itself begins on 06.00-09.00.

On check-in, they did not have the confirmed (!) non-smoking room with 2 beds, and offered a smoking room (\"That's Ok, right?\" - NOT OK, how dare you suggest). So had to wait for them to find a solution.
Free parking? Sure, if you can find a spot. Parking is permanently full, and no opportunity on the street-side curb or nearby.
The restaurant is exorbitantly expensive and of mediocre quality.

The room was good, a bit small but clean. The bathroom is clean, with good hot water.
