Absolutely horrendous place to stay. The whole place is so filthy and disgusting. My husband got salmonella during our stay there and we were provided with zero support. The reception staff ( most of them) are so rude and unhelpful. The pools were so dirty as well. Stay away from this place!!

We had a short break of 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the cleaners did a good job of cleaning the room daily. The only downfall with the room is that there was no kettle and if needed you’d have to pay a charge for each night which I’ve never had done before.

The staff were overall very friendly and helpful but upon check in I feel they could have done a better job of explaining certain things about the hotel as most hotels do.

Lunch and dinner was excellent. The variety was huge and the food was very flavoursome and delicious. The breakfast was not to my liking but that’s just my experience as im particular with my breakfast. There was a lot of variety with croissants and pastries.

There waterpark was also very good so I would recommend this hotel especially for families with young children

We had a great stay overall. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness mainly because of the size of the resort and the amount of people visiting daily. The staff were constantly cleaning and working around the clock, but guests can quickly make areas messy again.

The only downside was the extra charges for early check-in and late check-out, which felt a bit steep, especially considering the standard check-in time is quite late at 3:00 pm and many travellers arrive on early flights.

On the positive side, the evening and daytime entertainment were excellent, the grounds are beautiful, and the spa was lovely. The food was okay overall, but the fresh hot food was brilliant. The shuttle service to the square was also a really useful bonus.

Pros:
- Hotel grounds are extremely well kept and clean, grass is cut and it is aesthetically pleasing
- Restaurant food was good, it did not give us any stomach issues or food poisoning
- Water park is decent for children, I have been to better but this will keep the children entertained.

CONS:
- Room was awfully designed - the toilet was separate and the sink was separate in the shower room, extremely unusual dynamic. It meant that we had to come out of the toilet without washing hands and then wash in the shower room. VERY STRANGE
- the shower has zero privacy, so unless you want your children to see you naked or anyone else you are sharing with, it is a big NO. You can see into the shower room, not sure why they have this.
- rooms are very dated, not4* standard, old.
- not enough storage in rooms
- staff in the restaurant are not helpful but this is because they are understaffed, they have one or two waiters managing an entire area, so every single time we had to request water and cutlery, it was very slow.
- food hygiene is awful - not enough tongs to pick up food, vegetarian food and meat food next to each other which meant people mixed the tongs due to shortage of tongs
- the worst thing for us was, NO Kettle to make baby formula. We begged with them to provide us with one so we could feed our baby and agreed to pay an extra charge, however, they did not provide this. So we had to keep going to the bar every time to make formula. NOT ideal if you have a baby.

I stayed at this resort a few years ago and we had a good experience so We decided to stay again this time but didn’t enjoy our stay as much.

The room we got was on the ground floor. We had too many bugs in our room. A huge spider too. The bathroom sink was blocked. The toilet seat was leaking the entire time we stayed and there was water everywhere. The weather was 100F and our room AC barely worked. Our baby was sweating in the middle of the night and we called maintenance to come and take a look at it. He washed the filters and it worked a little better than before.

Overall, we didn’t enjoy our stay this time and will not be returning again.

Pros: Delicious, fresh, & very varied food with plenty of options every and all day. The hotel itself is huge, clean, and well maintained, with nice and comfortable rooms. The facilities are excellent, offering lots of activities including tennis courts, mini golf, beach volleyball, yoga, swimming, a big aqua park & more. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were especially friendly and provided great hospitality throughout our stay.

Cons: You have to pay a 200 dirham (£20) deposit per person just to borrow a single piece of sports equipment like a racket or ball, which felt unnecessary and excessive. The gym is extremely outdated, with most of the machines out of service. There was also no WiFi in the restaurant or gym, making it difficult to contact each other or even listen to music.

The entertainment on the first night was disappointing, mainly hotel staff dancing, although the shows improved on later nights when outside performers were brought in.

While most staff were friendly, some of the reception and shuttle staff came across as arrogant and unhelpful at times, especially when trying to push paid shuttle services.

The free shuttle service was also poorly organised. There were only two free shuttles available and they filled up very quickly. The timings were inconvenient as well, with one at 12:30 PM during extreme heat and the other at 11:30 PM, which was far too late for most guests. It often felt more focused on selling paid shuttles than guest convenience.

Brilliant stay at this hotel with plenty to do and great food options! If your vegan or vegetarian, be a bit cautious as the lanelling of food is incorrect (some state vegan but contain milk and eggs!), also some guests just use whatever serving spoon is closest which can result in cross contamination

The entertainment team were brilliant and the evening shows were very entertaining.

I’ve stayed at Aqua Mirage Club & Aqua Parc multiple times over the years—this was probably our 6th visit—and it used to be our go-to hotel. Unfortunately, this recent experience was disappointing and will likely be our last.
The rooms have gone downhill. There is no smart TV, and the small TV provided was locked to a single channel, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this level. The WiFi was also extremely unreliable—you constantly have to reconnect, which makes it frustrating to use.
What stood out the most this time was the change in service. Some staff members were rude, which is very different from the welcoming atmosphere we experienced in the past.
Another big disappointment was the new policy for early arrivals. Previously, if you arrived before check-in, you could enjoy lunch and use the pool while waiting for your room. Now, they charge €15 per person just to access these basic amenities before 3 PM, which feels unreasonable—especially for returning guests.
The food quality has also noticeably declined compared to previous visits.
It’s really unfortunate because this hotel used to be a favorite for us, our family, and our friends. Sadly, due to the drop in service, quality, and overall experience, we won’t be returning.

Bathroom- bad odour. Balcony- could not sit due to smoke from others and bird excrement. Room was as expected for the standard.

Good that one of the pools was heated. Aquapark- fine though we had to wait until 11.45 on. Saturday for only one of the slides to open and the rest were still being readied. Food - as you'd expect for the standard but a very good range and easy to suit all tastes. Wine......avoid it or mix it with a sugary drink

Room was nice, with good air con, comfy bed & good shower. However our sheets werent changed at all during an 11 night stay. Food was generally good and staff were very friendly.

The main (one heated) pool was nice but got very busy. Lots of aqua aerobics, zumba, yoga etc by the pool, which was average.

Bit of a faff having to get money out of a cash point for a deposit, to trade in for cards at reception, to trade in for pool towels - we've not come across this system before.. and £50 for 4 towels was a bit steep, they prob cost the hotel a few quid each. Spa treatments, ice creams, 'premium' drinks - any extras were above uk prices.

Overall was a nice relaxed family break, but the hotel was a bit run down - could do with some maintenance.

Super cheap and cheerful. Nothing outstanding. Resorts and rooms very tired. Food was decent however drinks were not. No beer in restaurant, no ice creams included, snacks poor. Dinner times chaotic. We stayed for 4 nights - it’s not no where near as good as some of the reviews, but it isn’t terrible either. Just bang average. Water park pools bitterly cold (all except main) towels for pool a pain. Ours got soaked in a storm and initially they wouldn’t give us new ones as you’re only allowed to swap them every 2 days - and you need a deposit for them. Staff mostly unhelpful. A few stars - bag man was great, and cleaners were really good, as was the man who owned the shop on site.

Showers went nuclear hot to stone cold all the time. Not good if you have kids! Our shower had tile missing and filler everywhere.

Generally very tired. I presume 10 years ago it was the crown, not its more like a travelodge with extras. Hassle to check in, hassle to check out.

Overall I’d give it 5.5 maybe 6 out of 10.

Great hotel with staff who were absolutely person centred in their approach to all.
House keeping, ground staff, bar and restaurant staff were all equally great. The animation team were fabulous and dynamic in their activities.
Would certainly recommend this family hotel to others.
The only recommendation I would suggested is to paint the lobby ceiling where there has been water damage as on arrival at the hotel it gave the wrong first impression of the environment.

Great all inclusive hotel. Lots of activities and entertainment all day long. Great water park and lots of food options. Unable to walk anywhere from the hotel, you can get a taxi from outside or the hotel bus into the centre. The sports bar needs abit of a rethink. It doesn’t open until 5 although games are on all day, it opens for the games but you have to walk to pool bar for a drink. There is only one TV. It could be a lot better. Rooms were spacious and clean. Overall we had a great stay.

The room was clean and daily new towels. Food was maybe 7/10 for me but for what we paid I will never complain. Always found something to eat, could do with being a little warmer. The fresh pizzas are delicious. Swimming pool is slightly heated which was perfect. Sun beds were reserved as with any hotel. Some staff were more attentive than others. Gardens are all well kept. Drinks are basic. We had to pay to use the all inclusive on arrival as it was 10:30 in the morning which was approx £15 each. You get it free if your flight home is early but because we wasn’t leaving til afternoon we got that day included but only til 3 then your sat waiting in reception for your ride to the airport. It’s got its faults but it was still worth what I paid and would return. So gave 5 star due to value for money. We didn’t use the water park because it wasn’t quite warm enough for us but it looks great l. Entertainers were brilliant, it was my daughter’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special for her.

We booked the holiday for five days and four nights ,when we arrived to the hotel at around 12pm there were not any drinks or snacks available in the reception when we asked for lunch they said we should pay £15 each which was unfair as we had booked an all inclusive and they said we have to stay at the reception until 3pm our check in. outside of the entrance the hotel there was a drainage leak which had quite a bad smell .The food was good but same most days . In the room there was no coffee or kettle was provided in our rooms. However the aqua park and the swimming pools are very good and big . From evening to night there was entertainment which was very interesting .

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The check-in process was smooth, and we were immediately impressed by the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained grounds.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views that made every morning special. The amenities were top-notch — especially the pool area and on-site dining options. Every meal we had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

We stayed at the hotel over the New Year period and had an amazing stay. Both the hotel staff and the New Year’s entertainment were absolutely fantastic and really made the experience special.

The food was excellent, especially the buffet, which had a great variety and was very well presented. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. We would happily return again in the future.

This is supposed to be a four-star property. It isn’t. The whole place is run-down and tired looking. The beds were hard, pillows poor quality, and the walls were paper thin so we kept getting woken up. The air con/heating was noisy and the curtains didn’t close properly. Most of the staff were grumpy and unhelpful. The check-in procedure was chaos. There is no chance of an early check-in and you all wait in reception until 3pm when there is a mad rush for rooms. We were not told important things like you have to book the shuttle bus to the Medina, you have to pay for pool towel cards to get your towels, you need to hire any balls, tennis gear etc… with a cash deposit. The gym is awful with broken gear and missing weights. The buffet food was ok, there’s a weird dessert system where someone passes you a slice of something from behind a Perspex case - presumably so people won’t help themselves to too much, which kind of goes against the all-in thing. In short, I would never book this hotel again.

Rooms were decent and comfortable. Rooms are a bit dated though and need some updates. Mine had 3 beds (2 twin) and 1 Queen sized. So it worked great for a family of 4. Staff was ready to help as needed. The resort is big, the pictures do not do justice, but it is big. There are no separate restaurants as you would see in other all-inclusives, but there is a main dining area for all 3 meals. These guys do try to make everyone as comfortable as possible. That said, there were a few policies which were a little unusual for me. My flight arrived in Marrakech early in the morning, and I reached hotel by 8AM (only decent option that I had from US west coast). They do specify that the room will not be available till 3PM. Unusual part was that to have breakfast/lunch till 3PM, you have to pay extra, even though you would be eating at their buffets. Usually all-inclusive resort guys just let you be part of breakfast/lunch buffets without charging extra, but here you pay extra. Food is served in a large dining area with the whole buffet there. They do not allow you to take you any food out! It kept raining during my stay in Dec, and kids did not want to come out of room. We took excursions before breakfast opens, but could not take any food from restaurant. They dont even allow half used 1.5Lt water bottles to be taken out. Wifi was slow and patchy. Some areas had better coverage. Hotel is outside Marrakech and is good 20-30min drive, so keep in mind while booking excursions.

I stayed for 10 nights from christmas eve to new year's eve. Attend both the eve's parties. Christmas eve was much better than New years eve. The live orchestra on christmas eve was awesome than the new year's eve. Part of it I believe is due to the audio mixer equipment used by the band on christmas was much better i assume.
The reason I gave 4 star but not 5 star is because of the room size and facilities. The room's are all same sizes, they just add more sofa beds if you are 4. There was no means to add connected rooms for 4 people if you like to upgrade from expedia. You need to add a person to get that option and it gets very expensive then.
The room wardrobes are too less for 4 people. And they are not well made. No drawers to keep your things on the desk or the side tables. So everything is out there unorganised in the room.
They don't provide Iron box for whatever reasons.
The shower & toilets are old , toilet is separate but no wash basin in the toilet, so have to go to the bath to wash your hands. Shower cubicle is tight for an adult and the shower mixer is not great , they are old and inconsistent in the hot water.sometimes cold and sometimes too hot.
Location of the resort is quite far from Madina 30min, so ended up spending quite a lot on taxi's everyday. The taxi's charge 150d for old town and 200 for new town.
Food is good and has many options but in few days you will start missing the spices, being British I am used to indian/Thai spices once in a while

We stayed at Aqua Mirage with children and overall had a good experience, though there are some clear areas that need improvement.

The positives:
Most of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The water slides are excellent and the heated pools were a real highlight, especially in cooler weather. The New Year’s Eve dinner was exceptional — by far the best food we had during the stay and very well organised.

The negatives:
One unpleasant incident involved a pool attendant attempting to blame me for a torn pool towel. The towel provided was very old and already worn, and it was clearly not damaged by us. There appears to be an issue here, as a towel deposit of around £10 is taken, which makes this feel like a potential scam rather than an isolated misunderstanding.

The shower facilities are tired and in need of renovation. Additionally, while the food was generally acceptable, the daily menu lacked variety and became repetitive over the course of the stay.

Overall:
A good resort for families, particularly for the pools and slides, but management should address the towel deposit issue, refresh the bathrooms, and improve menu variety to match the otherwise strong offering.

Turning in off the main road to be greeted by huge craters in the road leading up to the hotel was not a good first impression, arriving into the reception area our hearts sunk even further. Christmas tree decorations that looked like it was put together by a 4 year old and a reception area which is far below the fitting of a 4* Hotel

Rooms

- Very poor build quality
- Paint splattered on tiles
- Big gap in shower door which led to a flooded bathroom
- Gaps in the privacy screen looking into the bathroom so if you have teenage children/family members staying in your quadruple room they can see you in the shower!

Food

- Absolutely diabolical. I've seen reviews people praising the food, your gourmet meal at home must be beans on toast because I have no idea how anyone can rate it
- It was that bad we decided to eat out in the centre of Marrakech for the 2 nights we were there

Entertainment

- Didn't see it but the stage is old and battered

Staff

- The little interaction we had with them they seem pleasant enough

Sports bar

- Closed until March..... Leaving 1 area in which you could get a drink out of a horrible plastic cup

Location

- 20 minutes from Marrakech centre and 200 Dirhams (£16) in a taxi one way. Plenty of taxi outside the hotel. Nothing else around the hotel area apart from a little shop

Pool

- Didn't go in but could see that it was heated from the steaming coming off it in a morning.

Heaters didn’t work in the room so it was freezing. Cleaners cleaned the room on the first day and that was it - didn’t clean again. The room was dirty even after the cleaner cleaned it the first day. Hotel block is not enclosed so cats in all night meowing and cold hallways.

The pools needed to be heated to a slightly higher temperature. The showers next to the pool should have had hot water turned on as the the rooms are quite far away and you get very cold in the way back. Pool towels had to be kept for two days before exchanging and with no way to dry them, they were very damp and horrible. Reception staff were hit and miss and they tried to charge me because I waited in the lobby after 3pm for our taxi to airport. Food was ok and lots of options. Free shuttle to city was only available at 12.30 with return at 11.30pm!

The stay got off to a poor start. Despite a 3:00 p.m. check-in time, reception refused to begin even at 2:55. At exactly 3:00, a large tour bus arrived, and with only one staff member checking guests in, the process dragged on until after 4:00.

The food was extremely bland — even basic seasoning like salt seemed absent. Rooms were very dated, with multiple issues including faulty air conditioning, ventilation and doors that wouldn’t close properly. A technician had to force the door frame just to get it shut. Several guests experienced similar problems, some late into the night.

Sound insulation was virtually nonexistent; corridor noise and footsteps were clearly audible, making it hard to rest.

The room was clean. Maintenance of the room was poorly done as toilet rolls and towels were not added unless requested. Air conditioning worked, pools heating was not great but the weather was cold.

The entertainment team have gone down hill. I previously came to this hotel 2 years ago and we loved the animation team. Now they have left, we did not have the same experience unfortunately.

Greasy food that is simultaneously flavourless and often uncooked potatoes. The breakfasts are weirdly so much worse than other meals. So much of the food looks nice, but is then flavourless. I understand they are catering to a mass market and don’t want to offend many tastes, but it ends up being bland and sad. A single meal in Marrakech will taste divine in comparison. The seats are also quite worn. It was raining on our last day and the roof was pouring water onto the tiles. The adults only area is so much nicer and more peaceful than the main dining section. The staff really are very welcoming and do their best.

The rules around in the resort are unnecessarily oppressive. From a weird process to get a towel (you have to pay a deposit at reception to then get a slip, to then give to another building etc - in cash). You won’t be allowed two drinks after 11. You must have plastic cups. There are lots of signs around saying “it is strictly forbidden to take food out of the restaurant”. Again, quite oppressive.

The hotel is very well kept - the grounds and birds are lovely. Staff were maintaining the grass and trees most days we were there. Even the cats seem well fed. Waking up to the birds was very nice.

There are lots of stains on bedsheets as well as pool towels. We didn’t have pillow cases one day and had to go find staff. And there was no shampoo. Staff were quick to get these sorted.

2. Amal, Abdel and Hassan in the food hall are brilliant. Such nice people.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived and they had to change our room. Despite this when we walked in the cleaners were still cleaning the room.

We came slightly early and I had a 7 month old that had done a poo, they instructed us that the baby changing room was in the restaurant but we were barred from going, even if supervised. Instead we had to change the baby in the pram, the staff showed no humanity.

Furthermore, we rented towels for nearly £15 each. They don’t tell us that the towels had to be returned at a particular time. When we went to reception they refused to do this, even though the towel deposit was less than 50 yards away and they were all in house services. Basically it’s a scam to con you out of money for a towel that costs no more than £5 at most.

The pools and the aqua park are the best part of this resort plus the activities such as tennis, aqua Zumba.
The grounds itself are not well maintained with some things broken like our shower door not closing properly or broken tiles throughout some of the walking paths.
Check-in is very timely with no decent system, queues and other guests pushing in and the staff still deal with their query. Once checked in you then have to queue again for cashier if you want to hire a towel or check in early. You cannot do this at the same desk and with the same person.
The food is repeated most nights, with poor quality meat. The breakfast is the best meal. But they don’t have milk next to hot water machine for when you have tea unless you have warm milk. You need to get cold milk from where cereals are. You can only have wine with meals if you want spirits or cocktails you need to go to the bar outside.

A few improvements and this could be great!

We had a wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was delicious with a great variety, and everything was well organised and clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt very well looked after. I will definitely be coming back again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Aqua Mirage with family everything was very relaxing and the staff was very polite and helpful, I also liked the hospitality manners of the entire resort staff carries all around .
It was wonderful if I decided to go back in Marrakech

Hotel needs updating stupid all inclusive rules only 1 drink per person after 11pm drinks were disgusting food was not great. Some staff were not helpful wimen cleaning floors in eating area nearly tripping people up even when the floors were not even dirty. Fish served raw uncooked totally unacceptable no water provided in the rooms coffee machines always running out and staff not really bothered about refilling.shuttle bus only free 2 times in the day. Waterpark on some days turned off slides early. I could go on forever but i wont..will never ever stay in this hotel again even if i was offered a free weeks stay..

Room was clean, the dishes and cups often had dirty ones. Food was quite bland, pretty much the same every day. There were 1-2 good items every day. What really gets me are the condition of the cups - dirty and beaten up. That being said for the price it was, we expected shortcomings. Most importantly there is not food available all the time. You have to follow their meal schedules which can be challenging with little kids. The upkeep of the overall property is not great. They only take reservation do the restaurant in a 2 hour time window. We won’t return
