Good family hotel : spent 6 days there with my family (8 & 11 YO kids) and we had fun. Food was great and the shuttle to Marrakesh a great bonus.

I would recommend it for sure .

The room was clean and daily new towels. Food was maybe 7/10 for me but for what we paid I will never complain. Always found something to eat, could do with being a little warmer. The fresh pizzas are delicious. Swimming pool is slightly heated which was perfect. Sun beds were reserved as with any hotel. Some staff were more attentive than others. Gardens are all well kept. Drinks are basic. We had to pay to use the all inclusive on arrival as it was 10:30 in the morning which was approx £15 each. You get it free if your flight home is early but because we wasn’t leaving til afternoon we got that day included but only til 3 then your sat waiting in reception for your ride to the airport. It’s got its faults but it was still worth what I paid and would return. So gave 5 star due to value for money. We didn’t use the water park because it wasn’t quite warm enough for us but it looks great l. Entertainers were brilliant, it was my daughter’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special for her.

Loved everything!
Food was excellent and such a great choice for all sorts of tastes!
Lovely staff at the waterpark and in the restaurant.
Not crowded this time of the year so the kids had a lot of fun on slides with no queues at all!
Visit to Marakesh Medina is also worth it!

We booked the holiday for five days and four nights ,when we arrived to the hotel at around 12pm there were not any drinks or snacks available in the reception when we asked for lunch they said we should pay £15 each which was unfair as we had booked an all inclusive and they said we have to stay at the reception until 3pm our check in. outside of the entrance the hotel there was a drainage leak which had quite a bad smell .The food was good but same most days . In the room there was no coffee or kettle was provided in our rooms. However the aqua park and the swimming pools are very good and big . From evening to night there was entertainment which was very interesting .

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The check-in process was smooth, and we were immediately impressed by the beautiful surroundings and well-maintained grounds.

We stayed at the hotel over the New Year period and had an amazing stay. Both the hotel staff and the New Year’s entertainment were absolutely fantastic and really made the experience special.

The food was excellent, especially the buffet, which had a great variety and was very well presented. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. We would happily return again in the future.

This is supposed to be a four-star property. It isn’t. The whole place is run-down and tired looking. The beds were hard, pillows poor quality, and the walls were paper thin so we kept getting woken up. The air con/heating was noisy and the curtains didn’t close properly. Most of the staff were grumpy and unhelpful. The check-in procedure was chaos. There is no chance of an early check-in and you all wait in reception until 3pm when there is a mad rush for rooms. We were not told important things like you have to book the shuttle bus to the Medina, you have to pay for pool towel cards to get your towels, you need to hire any balls, tennis gear etc… with a cash deposit. The gym is awful with broken gear and missing weights. The buffet food was ok, there’s a weird dessert system where someone passes you a slice of something from behind a Perspex case - presumably so people won’t help themselves to too much, which kind of goes against the all-in thing. In short, I would never book this hotel again.

Rooms were decent and comfortable. Rooms are a bit dated though and need some updates. Mine had 3 beds (2 twin) and 1 Queen sized. So it worked great for a family of 4. Staff was ready to help as needed. The resort is big, the pictures do not do justice, but it is big. There are no separate restaurants as you would see in other all-inclusives, but there is a main dining area for all 3 meals. These guys do try to make everyone as comfortable as possible. That said, there were a few policies which were a little unusual for me. My flight arrived in Marrakech early in the morning, and I reached hotel by 8AM (only decent option that I had from US west coast). They do specify that the room will not be available till 3PM. Unusual part was that to have breakfast/lunch till 3PM, you have to pay extra, even though you would be eating at their buffets. Usually all-inclusive resort guys just let you be part of breakfast/lunch buffets without charging extra, but here you pay extra. Food is served in a large dining area with the whole buffet there. They do not allow you to take you any food out! It kept raining during my stay in Dec, and kids did not want to come out of room. We took excursions before breakfast opens, but could not take any food from restaurant. They dont even allow half used 1.5Lt water bottles to be taken out. Wifi was slow and patchy. Some areas had better coverage. Hotel is outside Marrakech and is good 20-30min drive, so keep in mind while booking excursions.

I stayed for 10 nights from christmas eve to new year's eve. Attend both the eve's parties. Christmas eve was much better than New years eve. The live orchestra on christmas eve was awesome than the new year's eve. Part of it I believe is due to the audio mixer equipment used by the band on christmas was much better i assume.
The reason I gave 4 star but not 5 star is because of the room size and facilities. The room's are all same sizes, they just add more sofa beds if you are 4. There was no means to add connected rooms for 4 people if you like to upgrade from expedia. You need to add a person to get that option and it gets very expensive then.
The room wardrobes are too less for 4 people. And they are not well made. No drawers to keep your things on the desk or the side tables. So everything is out there unorganised in the room.
They don't provide Iron box for whatever reasons.
The shower & toilets are old , toilet is separate but no wash basin in the toilet, so have to go to the bath to wash your hands. Shower cubicle is tight for an adult and the shower mixer is not great , they are old and inconsistent in the hot water.sometimes cold and sometimes too hot.
Location of the resort is quite far from Madina 30min, so ended up spending quite a lot on taxi's everyday. The taxi's charge 150d for old town and 200 for new town.
Food is good and has many options but in few days you will start missing the spices, being British I am used to indian/Thai spices once in a while

We stayed at Aqua Mirage with children and overall had a good experience, though there are some clear areas that need improvement.

The positives:
Most of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The water slides are excellent and the heated pools were a real highlight, especially in cooler weather. The New Year’s Eve dinner was exceptional — by far the best food we had during the stay and very well organised.

The negatives:
One unpleasant incident involved a pool attendant attempting to blame me for a torn pool towel. The towel provided was very old and already worn, and it was clearly not damaged by us. There appears to be an issue here, as a towel deposit of around £10 is taken, which makes this feel like a potential scam rather than an isolated misunderstanding.

The shower facilities are tired and in need of renovation. Additionally, while the food was generally acceptable, the daily menu lacked variety and became repetitive over the course of the stay.

Overall:
A good resort for families, particularly for the pools and slides, but management should address the towel deposit issue, refresh the bathrooms, and improve menu variety to match the otherwise strong offering.

Left after 48 hours of a 7 day stay

Turning in off the main road to be greeted by huge craters in the road leading up to the hotel was not a good first impression, arriving into the reception area our hearts sunk even further. Christmas tree decorations that looked like it was put together by a 4 year old and a reception area which is far below the fitting of a 4* Hotel

- Big gap in shower door which led to a flooded bathroom
- Gaps in the privacy screen looking into the bathroom so if you have teenage children/family members staying in your quadruple room they can see you in the shower!

- Absolutely diabolical. I've seen reviews people praising the food, your gourmet meal at home must be beans on toast because I have no idea how anyone can rate it
- It was that bad we decided to eat out in the centre of Marrakech for the 2 nights we were there

- Didn't see it but the stage is old and battered

- The little interaction we had with them they seem pleasant enough

- Closed until March..... Leaving 1 area in which you could get a drink out of a horrible plastic cup

The pools needed to be heated to a slightly higher temperature. The showers next to the pool should have had hot water turned on as the the rooms are quite far away and you get very cold in the way back. Pool towels had to be kept for two days before exchanging and with no way to dry them, they were very damp and horrible. Reception staff were hit and miss and they tried to charge me because I waited in the lobby after 3pm for our taxi to airport. Food was ok and lots of options. Free shuttle to city was only available at 12.30 with return at 11.30pm!

The stay got off to a poor start. Despite a 3:00 p.m. check-in time, reception refused to begin even at 2:55. At exactly 3:00, a large tour bus arrived, and with only one staff member checking guests in, the process dragged on until after 4:00.

The food was extremely bland — even basic seasoning like salt seemed absent. Rooms were very dated, with multiple issues including faulty air conditioning, ventilation and doors that wouldn’t close properly. A technician had to force the door frame just to get it shut. Several guests experienced similar problems, some late into the night.

Sound insulation was virtually nonexistent; corridor noise and footsteps were clearly audible, making it hard to rest.

The entertainment team have gone down hill. I previously came to this hotel 2 years ago and we loved the animation team. Now they have left, we did not have the same experience unfortunately.

Greasy food that is simultaneously flavourless and often uncooked potatoes. The breakfasts are weirdly so much worse than other meals. So much of the food looks nice, but is then flavourless. I understand they are catering to a mass market and don’t want to offend many tastes, but it ends up being bland and sad. A single meal in Marrakech will taste divine in comparison. The seats are also quite worn. It was raining on our last day and the roof was pouring water onto the tiles. The adults only area is so much nicer and more peaceful than the main dining section. The staff really are very welcoming and do their best.

The rules around in the resort are unnecessarily oppressive. From a weird process to get a towel (you have to pay a deposit at reception to then get a slip, to then give to another building etc - in cash). You won’t be allowed two drinks after 11. You must have plastic cups. There are lots of signs around saying “it is strictly forbidden to take food out of the restaurant”. Again, quite oppressive.

The hotel is very well kept - the grounds and birds are lovely. Staff were maintaining the grass and trees most days we were there. Even the cats seem well fed. Waking up to the birds was very nice.

There are lots of stains on bedsheets as well as pool towels. We didn’t have pillow cases one day and had to go find staff. And there was no shampoo. Staff were quick to get these sorted.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived and they had to change our room. Despite this when we walked in the cleaners were still cleaning the room.

We came slightly early and I had a 7 month old that had done a poo, they instructed us that the baby changing room was in the restaurant but we were barred from going, even if supervised. Instead we had to change the baby in the pram, the staff showed no humanity.

Furthermore, we rented towels for nearly £15 each. They don’t tell us that the towels had to be returned at a particular time. When we went to reception they refused to do this, even though the towel deposit was less than 50 yards away and they were all in house services. Basically it’s a scam to con you out of money for a towel that costs no more than £5 at most.

The pools and the aqua park are the best part of this resort plus the activities such as tennis, aqua Zumba.
The grounds itself are not well maintained with some things broken like our shower door not closing properly or broken tiles throughout some of the walking paths.
Check-in is very timely with no decent system, queues and other guests pushing in and the staff still deal with their query. Once checked in you then have to queue again for cashier if you want to hire a towel or check in early. You cannot do this at the same desk and with the same person.
The food is repeated most nights, with poor quality meat. The breakfast is the best meal. But they don’t have milk next to hot water machine for when you have tea unless you have warm milk. You need to get cold milk from where cereals are. You can only have wine with meals if you want spirits or cocktails you need to go to the bar outside.

A few improvements and this could be great!

We had a wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was delicious with a great variety, and everything was well organised and clean. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt very well looked after. I will definitely be coming back again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Hotel needs updating stupid all inclusive rules only 1 drink per person after 11pm drinks were disgusting food was not great. Some staff were not helpful wimen cleaning floors in eating area nearly tripping people up even when the floors were not even dirty. Fish served raw uncooked totally unacceptable no water provided in the rooms coffee machines always running out and staff not really bothered about refilling.shuttle bus only free 2 times in the day. Waterpark on some days turned off slides early. I could go on forever but i wont..will never ever stay in this hotel again even if i was offered a free weeks stay..

Room was clean, the dishes and cups often had dirty ones. Food was quite bland, pretty much the same every day. There were 1-2 good items every day. What really gets me are the condition of the cups - dirty and beaten up. That being said for the price it was, we expected shortcomings. Most importantly there is not food available all the time. You have to follow their meal schedules which can be challenging with little kids. The upkeep of the overall property is not great. They only take reservation do the restaurant in a 2 hour time window. We won’t return

A great, family friendly hotel. The food was amazing, there’s lots of variety for the more pickier eaters too. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and the resort was well kept, there is probably areas that could do with modernisation, but very minor in the overall experience. The entertainment and effort of the animation team was also good, very much catered to younger children though, with the last hour being more for the older children/ adults.
The only thing that knocked off a star, was the that alcoholic drink options weren’t the best.
All in all, we had a lovely time and felt very safe and would definitely stay there again. The onsite aqua park was great fun too :)

Water was coming from the shower, and we informed the reception to fix it, but the problem continued. The entire bathroom was flooded, and the toilet sink got blocked. When it was time to check out, we had a lot of luggage and called the reception to send someone to help us, but no one came.

Don’t expect a full-inclusive offering. Drink choices are limited and all ice creams are at a cost if not at dinner and then only choice of one ice cream flavour. Snacks are not all day and very limited choice when you can get them.
The large pools were freezing. The adults only pool was lovely and warm.
The shuttle service into the city centre you have to pay for expect a couple of times a day. They are not that frequent either.
The aqua park was good but again the water was freezing.
I requested on three occasions three single beds but got one double and one single. The air conditioning in the room was so noisy.

My experience in this so called, “4 star” hotel was horrible from start to finish. There literally isn’t anything good to say about it all. What was meant to be a relaxing break, was just an unenjoyable experience as a whole.
The check-in begins at 3:00 PM, which is fine as it’s the hotel policy. However, there was absolutely no hospitality while waiting nearly three hours to check in. No refreshments were offered — not even a glass of water — and the front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and showed little interest in helping guests.
The food was bland and dry. Chicken and beef/lamb was always overcooked and barely had any flavours.
As for entertainment, there’s a YouTube video playing on a big screen. Out of the 7 days I was here, there were people on the stage entertaining once. It’s laughable for a 4 star hotel to have a video playing on a big screen.
The shower stopped working during our stay, and when we reported it, reception said many guests had the same issue and they were “looking into it.” For a supposed four-star hotel, having no running water is unacceptable. The room itself was very dated
the television was tiny, the furniture looked old, and even the toilet roll holder was broken. There were no complimentary water bottles in the mini-fridge either so be prepared to stock that yourself. Also, there are no irons in the hotel and you have to pay to have a kettle.
The service, facilities, and general upkeep of the hotel fall well below four-star standard

Aqua mirage is AMAZING! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and had somewhat a lot of space. There was so much entertainment there! There was this stage where they had people preforming. There was also this bar that my kids loved, the drink they kept on getting that has no alcohol is called Bollywood. And don’t even get me started on the water park it was amazing me and my kids had so be much fun together.

Great family friendly hotel with great waterpark. We stayed in a lot of hotels before and we always complained about the food, but here the food was great quality and a lot of variety. The staff in hotel been amazing and very friendly, also there is a lot of green area/garden soround the buildings. The rooms may need some refreshing soon, but overall they a quite modern and very clean. There is bus going that they you to the city centre. We’ve had a late flight back home, but hotel allows you to stay in hotel to 3pm, so kids can still enjoy the waterpark in last day and we have a lunch before the flight. We’ve had a great time in Aqua Mirage Hotel considering we been worried by reading some of the reviews, but we highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing bad to say. The staff were amazing — from the receptionists to the cleaners, everyone welcomed us with a smile. I loved the gardens and the quiet pool, while my husband had fun at the aqua park instead! I’d say it’s perfect for both couples and families with kids.

The staff in the restaurant, housekeeping and reception were very good and we were impressed with their performance. Unfortunately the guests let the place down . The majority of guests have these huge sippy cups and drink excessively. There are a lot of drunken people by the afternoon and particularly in the evenings . We had a person drunk in the restaurant who threw up in front of us whilst trying to stumble to the toilets which put us off eating in there , There are also children drinking alcohol which is taken from the bar by adult guests . Lots of people discarding cigarettes on the floor around the pool area . They take sunbeds at 7am which is totally unnecessary as there are plenty . The staff and entertainment team seem to like young girls and pay them excessive attention which I would say to any parents make sure you keep an eye on your children as it’s very unhealthy. Unfortunately the hotel has really let things go at the hotel after my 3 previous visits and seem more interested in the money rather than upgrading things . Our shower leaked all over the floor whilst showering and a poor fitting toilet seat that wobbled when you used it . Broken floor tiles all over the complex . Dirty paths and overgrown trees everywhere so there was no views where they should be . It’s a real shame how things have ended up there . Also the music is excessively loud and distorts so sounds appalling. I would avoid the main pool area as there is alcohol and soft drinks spilt on areas

This is a 3* resort - it is huge so be prepared for a lot of people! I really liked the adults only pool, landscaping and the chefs were able to meet our dietary requirements. Things to improve on would be pool towel procedures (takes too long) and include more amenities in the rooms.

We didn't end up staying , our room wasnt ready so we paid the extra to use the facilities-way too many people ! The food area was a nightmare -I saw one person drop a roll on the floor then puck it up and put it back on the table ! Drinks area -beer was warm , the check in girl did not explain anything to us -how to find things etc No customer service at all -we left and checked into another hotel -Wouldn't recommend it

Our stay was enjoyable over. The rooms seem clean although some of the facilities are outdated. The Dinning options are great with snacks and unlimited drinks available. Kids love the waterpark and there were loads to do for both kids and adult. Staff are usually very friendly and willing to be of help. Some improvements with cleanliness and outdated facilities will improve the overall quality especially in the restaurant area. But nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and may consider going again.

The hotel is a bit dated. Plenty of choices for food however the service can be slow at times. Not a big choice of deserts. The tea and coffee wasnt very nice. The spa is also in need if modernising.

Our room was dated and needs modernising. The button to flush toilet was broken and the shower cubicle was very tight. You have to pay a deposit for towels which is refunded at checkout and you have to pay in local currency. Our checkout was at 3pm and we had 2 hour wait to be collected but once you have checked out you are not allowed to use the hotels facilities. You are expected to stay in reception.

This is my second time at this hotel i came 8 years before when it had newly opened and had a different experience which is why i returned.

Overall i think its more like a 3 star hotel and i dont think i would be returning again.

There were definitely some highlights, especially for the kids – they absolutely loved the water slides, and the evening entertainment was enjoyable for the whole family.

However, there were quite a few things that let the experience down. Despite being all-inclusive, the fizzy drinks were watered down and tasted off, which was disappointing. I wasn't able to get a proper coffee during the entire three night stay, as the machines were constantly low. Food was okay – not bad, but nothing special either.

One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of ice cream during the day unless we paid extra, which felt a bit unfair considering the all-inclusive promise. Also, there were no late-night dining options available. Since we tend to stay up late, it would’ve been nice to have access to some snacks or light food after the evening meal.

All in all, it was fine for a short break, especially if you're travelling with kids, but I’m not sure we’d return unless a few things were improved.

The resort is absolutely lovely. I have no negatives. The entertainment was exceptional; we had a pool party and an African show, to say the least. Staff were friendly. The only improvement I believe they should consider is providing some sort of escalator machine to take the inflatables to the top for the slides. The stress of taking the inflatables up the stairs by yourself was too much. Apart from that, an amazing place. 100%

The entertainment was really good during the day and at night, the animation team were funny and hard working, the resort felt very safe with security everywhere that were also extremely friendly, the room was very clean, the bed comfy, the main food hall food was good and the majority of the staff were really nice and hard working. Special mention to the guy (black slick back hair) behind the bar at the main pool who worked is pants off and always had a smile and the young man in the quiet section of the food hall who’s service was absolutely spot on and made us feel at home while there. A few things I didn’t like: some of the bar staff in the all day bar were rude and made us feel unwelcome as well as one of the women in the pool food hatch who was god awful to deal with who didn’t listen and was more than happy to serve food that had been touched by flies (plus endless amounts of chips - we ended up going the food hall for dinner purely because of her), the corridors were also extremely loud with some rude guests coming back from the really late animation shows (9:30pm starts) but I partially think better sound proof doors would prevent it. (Block 1)

All in all I would come back.
