What a gem of a place to find. We only stayed overnight on our way to Naxos but each and every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. It’s such a lovely hotel. Would 100% recommend. They made sure that we caught our ferry easily on the following day. After a very short walk, there is a bus stop for the short ride into Fira. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed

This property has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The staff was really helpful and kind. We checked out at 11.00 and they let us use the pool till late in the evening which was amazing, specially for our little one. This was our second stay with Villa Manos and definitely we will come back again. I highly recommend Villa Manos.

Never eat or drink at the hotel as it was expensive so we always went out instead to eat, and just once we ask for ice and 2 cups they said they don’t have much ice so we got 1 single ice per cup, just minute's after we saw they brought out to someone a full glass of ice with coke.
They also always watching you and talking to each other about you which was very strange, my daughter was walking towards the reception way just walking around and one staff stopped her to ask where she going. They pester you at the pool a lot, starts a conversation being nice and next you hear they trying to get you to buy something at the restaurant/bar.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The owners are truly lovable folks who helped us in so many ways to make our stay better. They gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy. The view of the sea from our balcony was unreal. The town of Fira is about 20 minutes walk so rented a car for two days to enjoy the breathtaking scenery around the island. They have a restaurant of their own and also there are couple very close to the property. I will definitely recommend this property!

Was able to quickly communicate with staff via WhatsApp. They took care of my transportation needs easily and swiftly with no trouble. Additionally the food at the property’s restaurant is incredible and the portions are terrific. The pool is beautiful and it’s not a far walk to get to the Firasquare to do some shopping and walking , or alternatively to catch a bus to Oia for the views and sunset. I loved my stay here and I would recommend villa manos to anyone looking for a great affordable hotel to stay.

Villa Manos is a great place to stay in Santorini. The staff are very very generous, kind and helpful! The hotel is extremely clean, possibly the cleanest one I saw in Santorini. They have a very nice pool area right next to their restaurant/bar. It is a pretty good walk to Fira from the hotel but they will arrange transportation for you for a small fee. What the hotel lacks in location (and it isn’t much) they more than make up in service, quality, and value. None of the other positive reviews on here are exaggerating, they really are great hosts and make you feel very welcomed! If I come back to Santorini I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was clean and quiet, however, a number of things were disappointing including: no bottled water provided (the island clearly states the tap water isn’t safe to drink so why no small bottle provided?), the hard sell on checkin for a tour on a boat didn’t land well and when rejected the staff got rude and basically threw my ID card back at me after I had to ask for it back. The room was fine and some shower gel was provided with clean towels every day although sheets were not changed. I did like that the aircon worked on a sensor with the door so minimising electrical waste. The bar staff were great and always with a ready smile and friendly service. It didn’t seem to be possible to pay by card so make sure you have plenty of cash available. The bus stop is up the road and once you work out the system it’s pretty easy to navigate the island from there. Sadly for the price I paid I didn’t feel I got good value for money which is a shame as the place has oodles of potential.

Our stay at Villa Manos was great - the team were really nice and welcoming, both at Reception (especially Poppy) and the bar/restaurant (especially Miltos). They were able to support us with transfers across the island.
The room was a good size and had a great view towards the coast, and overlooking the property. The restaurant was impressive and reasonably priced, with service to the sun loungers as standard. The property is a short bus journey from the town of Fira (walking is possible to the town but be aware that the roads don't have designated pavements/sidewalks as we may be used to in the UK etc and so it's good to be vigilant!). Within a more reasonable walking distance there are local restaurants and cafes that are worth a visit.

I have been trying to leave a review for this hotel since we stayed here last year in April but for some reason they had the review section closed. Now that it is open I would like to let everyone know of how unpleasant this place was. First of all the pictures do not tell you the whole story. Pictures look great and some good reviews I am very sure that it is written by their own staff, but once you arrive you will be very disappointed. We had rented room #17 and it was claustrophobic and cold. The weather was cold and all the linens that are dried outside were all damped and cold and felt wet. I had kids and they were cold all night. We ordered breakfast from their restaurant onsite and the food was actually cooked by their own staff that sits at the front desk. They did not have a chef and the food tasted horrible. Also the pool is not safe because a child can easily fall inside when you have to walk past it to get to the restaurant/cafe. Overall I would not recommend this place and would not stay here again.

It is a nice place with a nice pool and restaurant by the pool. The room was very nice, better than what I expected. Staffs were quite friendly and as mentioned by other reviewers, got a free bottle of wine which was really nice. However, the location is a little far from the main bus station in Fira and if you do not have your own transport then it would be a little difficult, although there is a bus station just within 100m up hill. There are restaurants and convenient store (with very unfriendly staff) though just within walking distance.

If you're lucky enough to come across this place, then consider yourself even more lucky. The place looks EVEN better in person, like an exotic resort. It looks and feels BRAND new, the entire place! Great staff, feels like a Band of Brothers Family run business and they genuinely care about their customers. The pool was fantastic! Location fantastic like 6 mins to airport, 4 mins to Fira (the main strip) 8 mins to the Kamari Beaches, and about 20 mins to Red beach. Will def stay again. They even gave us a bottle of wine on our last day as a thank you. Also VERY accomodating as my wife didn't like the first room we were given because it had stairs, they said no problem, within 1 hr they gave us a different room with no stairs. Will def stay here again next year!

Villa Manos is a beautifully clean little idyll approx 20 mins walk from the centre of Thira. Rooms were lovely - the pool is gorgeous and the staff were super helpful. I would recommend getting form of transport if you want to see the rest of the island as busses are very unreliable, but that would go for wherever you were staying! Great Gyros at the place next door too.

Wonderful staff and reasonable prices for bringing you places. Id stay here again but would ask for a top floor (3) as I’m a light sleeper and was kept up till about 1 each night from floor above even with two sound machines as the low pitch noises are not masked. Beds were ho hum but typical of Greek hotel comfort... Kid loved the pool which was warm and open late. We didn’t eat at the restaurant or use breakfast. Parking is minimal and street side. The WiFi is stable Andean well used by the kids.

The property looks ok from the outside. Our room had a light bulb out in the main area, the bathroom had a sewer smell and the toilet seat was broke. We were visiting with another guest at the hot tub (which only had 2 jets working) and she advised us not to tell the office about the problems in our room. She had done so and the solution was not a positive one for her.
We had another issue, which was not the issue with the management or the housekeeping staff, but we believe it was with one of their contractors who had entered our room. We were not aware that a contractor would be in the room, but he knocked on the door and when we answered, he quickly excused himself. It was clear that someone had attempted to go through our personal items as some of the luggage was locked and they attempted to open them. This did not happen on the day it was the housekeeping staff only. We also did not address this with management based on the conversation with the other guest.

The family of outstanding staff go beyond to help and make your stay fantastic! The pool was very lovely, and the bar and restaurant so convenient for drinks around the pool or your early morning coffee! The grounds are kept immaculate and are beautiful. Arranging rides, reservations in town or trips to beaches, all looked after. I cannot say enough about the hospitality and care. Do not hesitate to book here. We loved it!

Our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service (special mention - Miltos, Luda and Dionysios -hopefully spelled correctly). Upon arrival they recommended 2 excursions both of them are a must have specially the Yachting (Catamaran) experience. They offer convenience if you need to get around through their vehicles for the price of a bus ride per person. Prior to leaving the gift of a Greek wine was fantastic. Thanks

We paid for the airport pick up and the staff was friendly. The property was well kept but the check in process was quite lengthy and very salesman style. The rooms were clean and had cleaning service every day. The bedding is old and outdated. The beds are not comfortable, you call feel every single spring and pillows don’t serve a purpose. WiFi was slow.
Location —
There isn’t anything really around besides Fira near by. Oía is a 17 min drive north. If you want more things around stay in Oia instead. There is a loud road right in from of the property which can get crowded with loud trucks at times.
Pool —The pictures make this hotel look bigger than was it is. Pool is medium size. Gets crowded quickly with only 15 laying chairs. There is a smaller pool in the back much more quieter away from kids and families. Wish the staff would come to you at the pool and ask for your food orders, but you have to run inside and order.
For activities and excursions—
It’s more economical to book directly with the companies instead of going through this hotel. Strongly advise getting a car rental on your own. Be prepared to pay for every little accommodation even if you want a late check out. They charge 2€ to go to Fira (15-20 min walk) but 20€ to go to Kamari beach each way. The airport shuttle is 55€ round trip.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, however, on checking in they wanted to put me into a cavernous and dark 3 to 4 bed room with no view. I had booked a double room for myself and only when I kicked up a fuss did they relent and give me what I had booked! The location was good with a great bus service a two minute walk away on the main road.

Things I liked: staff friendliness, great food, hotel transfer to and from airport and also into nearby cities/villages, access to excursions/atv rentals, excellent drinks, great amenities, room cleanliness, our small patio was pretty, villa aesthetic, pool area was beautiful, hotel was beautiful. Side comments: Mrs Poppy is simply wonderful and lovely. All the staff were so incredible - I loved them. The bartenders and servers provided excellent service and were so friendly. Luda, Mitos, and others were just incredible. The hotel even gave us a goodbye gift. So sweet! Disliked: location was a tiny hurdle. To Thira it was a 30 minute walk. However, a taxi ride is €10, the hotel also provides transportation we didn’t ask about, there are local buses and the atv’s (€35 euro for the day) can take you absolutely anywhere. There’s parking pretty much everywhere you want to go. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Reasonably priced property, 5 min drive from the capital city of Fira. The rooms may not boast of any grandeurs, but the hospitality is top notch. It is managed by Ms Poppy and her family. Their travel desk is highly efficient and available 24 hrs. Excellent suggestions regarding tours and cruises are offered by them. The restaurant has traditional Greek food as well as other options. Bus stop is just outside the road. Supermarket at 500 mts. Thanks to Poppy, Dimi, Miltos and the rest for making it such a memorable stay. And that's not all. Guests are waved goodbye with a complimentary wine bottle.

So first ill explain the good. They picked me up from the airport and were very helpful scheduling everything because my flight got cancelled. It was 15 euros each way which was a little spendy but worth it. The staff were very nice and accommodating. It was middle of march when i arrived and apparently that was still the off season so there was no pool and not many people around so it felt vacant. The location sucks. Its not anywhere near anything and dont even try to take the public transportation. Getting around is expensive if the hotel driver takes you. They were super nice people but not like the paradise place like the pictures show.

The hotel was OK. The receptionist was nice but failed to explain the charges that were added to my bill. The place was very cold. We called to get the heater fixed but it still did not work. There was no way to increase the heat. Yet the reception area was warm. We had to request extra blankets the following night. They charge you for every little thing. But people were friendly.

Great place in Santorini. It is a bit far from the centre, but the bus station is close by and you can take a bus ride from there. Other than that, beautiful, clean place with wonderful service. I enjoyed my stay there and I advice you to do the same.
