I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was extremely clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything was perfectly arranged and showed great attention to detail.

The staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and professional. Their hospitality made me feel very welcome and at home throughout my stay.

The location is excellent — close to everything and very convenient, which made moving around easy and enjoyable.

I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room. Espresso coffee, still water, sparkling water, and biscuits were available, which was a very nice and welcoming gesture.

Lovely apartment with a comfy bed and large smart tv.
Access to a kitchen area with lovely coffee machine and frozen croissants for baking in a mini oven.
Good location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The Termini train station was only a short 5-10 min walk away where you can catch the Metro to all over the city.
The room we had was very quiet during the night and we slept very well in the comfy bed.
Other points mention by previous guests was the check-in system however, we found it straight forward and had no issues. Lots of good info sent before so read up in advance.
Lovely apartment and would happily stay here again.

This was a very nice room & bathroom, clean and comfortable with great coffee in the room, cookies, filtered water & coffee in the common area.
The location is in a perfect location for Termini Station and staging for the rest of Roma.
The only downside in my aged opinion would be as follows...
I travel a lot and this is the first time I have ever done a registration, check-in and had a two day stay without any direct contact from the proprietors. No introduction, no personal welcome, no orientation, no meeting at all!

Everything is set up remotely using WhatsApp, camera, and phone technology.
This is probably irrelevant to the younger, tech-savvy traveler, but for my wife and I it was a bit irregular considering we are talking about the \"Hospitality\" business.

The stay was great once we navigated the necessary apps,
but somewhat impersonal in the end.

This is not a hotel, it’s a room in a building which is unmanned. It was difficult for me to
access with heavy luggage—several stairs at the entrance, no ramp or disabled access, and a very small lift. Even once upstairs, there were more stairs to reach the room, and the doorway was so narrow you had to walk in sideways with suitcases.

The room was clean and spacious, but the shower was a major issue: no water from the main showerhead despite being told it was fixed, leaving me with hardly any water to shower. Also the security door lock was broken, and advised this was due to issues with previous guest, so no security for guest using the room, This was very disappointing for the price I paid to stay here.

The property owner was responsive via WhatsApp, which I appreciated. They also allow luggage storage in the common area; but it’s not secured as it’s just in the foyer, although access requires a code, it doesn’t provide much peace of mind.

There was also construction noise from next door early in the mornings, making it hard to rest.

Overall, despite some positives, my experience was disappointing compared to the glowing reviews I’ve read which was the reason for booking this room, as it’s not a hotel.

Overall it was just fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible. The hardest part was the check in and finding the place. It’s not a hotel like it presents online. It’s more like a professional grade air bnb. If it weren’t for a random lady named Gilda, I’m not sure we’d have gotten in and found the place. I’m willing to admit things in America are much different and that maybe this met up was more normal in Italy, but confront desk, limited ability to communicate. 3 different codes to get in. It just wasn’t what we wanted. Nonetheless, we made the best of it and enjoyed Rome.

This was a lovely property and I would definitely stay again. The check in process is very easy. The staff is accessible but only electronically - you won’t meet anyone. The only part of that I didn’t like is that luggage storage is basically in the common space of the hotel with no staffing, so I opted into a paid luggage service outside instead. The room is spacious. The shower is nice and hot. Good little mini bar/coffee/tea area. Overall I’d stay again and for more than one night.

This property is operated more like a B&B rather than a hotel. Service was outstanding. From initial questions before we booked the room to helpfully giving us access to the property ahead of check-in times, to a comfortable stay with free coffee and croissants for breakfast, along with water and coffee and snacks available in the common area 24/7. They also had a laundry room on the same floor which we didn't use but would be convenient for families. Water pressure for the shower was just fine. Bed was quite comfortable. Air conditioner worked very well. Overall a wonderful stay!

Alessandro and the entire team is so wonderful and helpful! Every detail and answer was provided online and in real -time as needed! The view of the adjacent gardens with palm trees and the easy proximity to Termini makes this an easy choice! The Turkish embassy is within view and you can find an easy mix of Italian + Filipino + Peruvian restaurants as well as a local Pam Super market just around the corner! I loved my stay here so much that I extended for a second night!

This place was conviently located and we were able to walk to most attractions. We had trouble with the AC so the room was warm and humid. We had to open the window to let cool air in but also let's in the bugs. I liked the convince of not having a key and using the phone to get through the first door and a code to get into the rooms so we could come and go without bothering anyone. The room was clean but a little small for 3 adults but was good enough for us.

Despite a little confusion in our initial access to the building, we were very happy with this Hotel. The room was clean, modern and well-appointed and once we engaged with the off-site support staff, access was no longer an issue. Our window opened up to a nice garden view making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is located in close proximity to some great restaurants which we really enjoyed. It is also not too far from Roma Termini, the Subway and the major bus routes. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the property. Is is an easy self check-in with clear instructions. There is coffee, water, a small kitchen, cookies and breakfast included. This is really cool!

Though it didn't make up for the room. It looked like it hadn't been used in ages with dust everywhere (the sheets, the towels, on the lamps, the tables,..) and a window that didn't close properly. The most dusty room I have ever been to and not clean either.

There are many things not well finished and it looked like a quick fix room just to make money. We complained about this and the next day the room got cleaned in a proper way (thank you!), Netflix worked again and we got a compensation (which was really nice).

We appreciate the easy communication and compensation but the overall experience was not good.

It was a part of our Euro couple geataway and we stayed for 3 nights.
The hotel was close to train and metro stations, about 7 minutes walk.
Easy self check in. The room was quite small but clean and pleasant looking, we had an acces to a kitchen space where we could make cappuccino and use the water filter. In the room we had a Nespresso machine, capsules an some cookies, as well as we were provided with a small bottle of prosecco, which was a pleasant treat..
The cleaning was done daily. I liked the room overall minus the bed, the mattress was terrible, hard as a brick. Both me and my boyfriend had pain all over our bodies in the morning because we are used to a good ergonomic mattress, but the one we had in our room was just terrible. We left pretty tired after 3 days.

I am not a picky person but I would really like to understand how such high ratings were given for this property ,the building had a funny smell , no one to greet you it’s what I call more like a bed & breakfast they have a central kitchen but the thing that was most disturbing was the area definitely don’t recommend for young families or singles in front of a sex cinema area is dirty and rough , I was even told by a local and our taxi driver the area is not the greatest and to be cautious. Yes it’s not too far from Roma Termini but definitely would not stay because of that. It’s unfortunate I lost my money but I just could not stay there with my family so we decided to leave after one day. Thank you to a local who helped us find another area which was lovely safe and walkable & close to attractions

This is a place that takes some searching for. Once we found it and got assistance with getting into our room, we were good with locating it again. The AC unit didn’t work all the time. We messaged to have it fixed and it did work for a few hours or so before stopping. Super hot conditions outside would make this a miserable place to stay without AC. Thankfully it wasn’t the hottest part of the year. At night there was no breeze coming in from outside because of how the building is shaped. The croissant in the morning was delicious and we appreciated the water dispenser. Public transportation was easy and close by. Good food close by with friendly staff. Plenty of space for 4 people in the two room, 3 beds, space.

This was a wonderful place to stay while in Rome. It is clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome with snacks in your room and the lobby. Management responded quickly and efficiently with our requests. It is close to bus stops, train station and Metro (10 minute walk or less). They have an area you can store your luggage, which was very helpful on our last day. I highly recommend it.

It was great. Walking distance 20-40 mins walk to most places we wanted to visit. We didn't even noticed the time because you will enjoy the walk. There are restaurants around the area. TERMINI STATION is only few blocks away.
Maybe just a little upgrade on the room's floor. If you are looking for a fancy place to stay then this is not for you. This place is a little older but we had a comfortanle bed at the end of the day. But for the price and location I recommend it.

And when I took a shower, I stepped in a hole because the drain cover wasn’t screwed in and my toe bent backwards and took off half my nail. I would like to be reimbursed for my stay

The owner is amazingly accomodating. We came in very late and access was made very easy. It is soundproof to the outside, but if you have noisy guests on your floor you will know it. Shower needs to be gutted, and it could use AC in both rooms, but other than that it was great.

When I did my shopping online I did not know that this would be rooms in an unmarked building in Rome (versus a hotel) so that was a bit of a surprise, but it was fine. The online check in was efficient yet impersonal, and therefore seemed unusual to me. However, the directions were clear, the facilities were clean, quiet, and they definitely served their purpose! Free coffee, treats and WiFi were a perk! It was about a 10 minute walk to the train terminal and there were dining options nearby.
When I needed a shuttle to the airport, I called their number and it was arranged seamlessly and professionally.
I have only great reviews for Capitolium Rooms. They were well worth the price! Thanks for the great memories in Rome!

Transportation was arranged from the airport which made it really easy for us to get to Rome. Last minute, I needed to use their washing machine, printer and arrange transportation to the port of Civitavecchia. All of my needs were addressed in a very quick manner.
The only set back was having to carry the luggage upstairs/downstairs and not being able to use the elevator. Other than that, excellent stay and convenient location to termini.
If you want to save money on your stay, this wonderful room is the place to be.

Great that you only need to call a number to open the main door and input numbers on the keypad to get in your room. The room itself is clean and provided with amenities (soap, shampoo, water, snacks and other welcome drink). Location is a few blocks from Termini station and felt safe, even at night. The TV has netflix and youtube which is a plus, as other places we've been to only has TV channels all in Italian. Overall, a great place to stay in Rome- quite affordable and worth it.

Perfect for my need! 10 stars!

I needed a place to stay near the Roma Centrale and this hotel was a perfect choice. It was about an 8-minutes walk from the train station, so it was very convenient. The hotel and the room were very clean. Accessing the hotel using the code was perfect since I don't like carrying heavy keys around the city. I highly recommend this hotel. It was an overnight stay we were one night in Rome from Torino. We had a 24 hour layover before we headed to Spain. We are in Europe for 3 weeks and this is the end of our Italy tour and we picked this hotel for the reviews on Hotels.com
They were very good. We found out afterwards after we booked that the front desk closed at 7pm so if you are planning to arrive late, it’s not a good idea. We had to arrange for a taxi service to pick us up through the hotel because we couldn’t cancel we paid $50 extra which was fine but when we got there we didn’t realize that it was on the 4th floor of the building and there was a young girl
Waiting for us it was midnight and we had 3 weeks of luggage. She did her best.. the room was immaculate but again if you could get here at the proper time it would be better. The rooms are very small but they are super cute and all you need for a few nights stay. Typical hard ITALIAN beds but ladies they have a real Blow dryer not the one that is attached the wall so I was actually able to blow dry my hair!

Old but well maintained.

It was easy to find. A bit further away from landmarks but we only needed it for one night. I have been talking to the manager before getting to the place but when I changed check in time, I couldn’t get her response quickly and manager wasn’t at the place to open the door. We eventually went back to the place at the time I said before the change. Room was old but well maintained mostly except the shower room was missing the door and the water splashed out to the washroom floor.

it doesnt have 24 hr front desk, must wait till 10 am for front desk. Rooms were hot and building is old. Only 1 person and luggage fit into elevator.

Rome: The Eternal City!

- Very close to the train station Roma Termini
- Several restaurants around
- Has AC and TV
- The only issue? I had problems with the WIFI connection on my second and last days. Very slow and las night did not work at all!

We enjoyed the price point, general cleanliness and bed. The AC in the room was not quite powerful enough and took quite a long time to cool the room. We also had to ask for soap in the room as they had forgotten to provide it.
