It was a clean room with a wonderful bed and heating. The shower was a bit difficult but we made it work. The workers were very nice and helpful as well. The biggest perk was the location. Right near so many places to eat and bus stops so we could get around. It also helps that it’s walking distance from the trains and subway. I’d definitely go back.

We booked two rooms, both 2x twin beds. For the first room on the 6th floor, the small bathroom window (in the shower) was open by default, likely for ventilation. Not really a complaint other than I think there was no screen so some bugs flew in. But we decided to keep it open due to a strange plumbing smell.

For the second room on the 5th floor, there was a terrible buzzing noise (like a zapping from a cpr machine, or a doorbell buzz) that happend every 2-3 minutes (in the wall behind my dad's bed) so my parents had no rest that first night. Then, when we spoke to the staff the next morning, they said they would send someone to look into it but nothing was resolved and they were not able to move my parents until the night following so my parents had to put up with the noise for 2 out of 3 nights of their stay. Finally, on the last night they upgraded my parents room onto the 6th floor (a larger suite), which was fine.

All things considered this hotel is in an excellent location and the one female staff (the one who finally changed the room for us) was very helpful. The male staff didn't seem equipped to problem solve. The rooms were neat and clean, and the beds were comfortable. But there's no safe nor fridge if anyone's wondering. And no water nor breakfast (even for purchase). In any case, overall I would not take the risk of staying here again.

Our room was VERY small. With luggage, only one person could enter at a time, close the door, move around the bed to make room, then the second person could enter.
The shower was a handheld shower (good) with nothing that held the shower head in place when you weren't holding it.
The toilet seat was barely connected to the toilet.

We requested a double bed in advance and we had 2 singles pushed together. The photos of the property are very outdated. The floors had hairs around the the side tables although on the surface were wiped clean there was years old dirty compacted the the gaps.

You could easily hear all the other rooms noises. The shower had poor water pressure most of the time as well as hanging off the wall. Lots of limescale around and the toilet seat was broken on arrival.

So I think 3 stars is generous which goes primarily to a nice lady on the front desk who was very pleasant and supportive with things brought to her attention. For example, the room safe also became faulty with our possessions inside. She fixed it immediately.

Our toilet seat was broken and my daughter cut herself on it.
I burn my hand with the kettle in the room. The kettle handle got very hot and the off button didn't work, had to unplug.

I’m having a hard time rating this hotel because the room itself -towels, linens, sheets-the room in general was very clean. The only thing that wasn’t was the floor. I happened to leave in the morning and met the a member of the cleaning staff and pointed it out to her. It was cleaned when we got back in the evening. The toilet seat was ready to fall off. My fix-it husband tried to tighten it. Didn’t work. Thirdly, there are two chairs on the balcony but none at the desk in the room. I brought one of the chairs in to use but the upholstery is so tattered, it was shedding all over the place!
This place is in a great location, literally a 10 minute walk from the train terminal but it’s competing with many other hotels who are side by side in the same area. It is very over priced. I got a good price because I rented it at the last minute-day before, but it is an extremely small room and I fear the shower is so small, anyone over 150 lbs would never get in.!! It’s secure-has someone at the desk 24 hours but you need to ring the buzzer downstairs to get let in. The second night we were there, the buzzer didn’t work. Thankfully, the lady in the restaurant next door had a key and let us in. I have no idea what we would have done had she not been there. I would look for another hotel in this area. I would not use this one again.

Please take the reviews on google with a grain of salt. The hotel is located in the 5th and 6th floors of a residential apartment with a lift. Rooms were clean and decent, much better than a travellodge or bestwestern. No issues at all and everything was in working order. The water might look milky or cloudy, it is a result of air bubbles. There is a natural fountain opoosite the hotel for refills. Close to the train station and bus links. I was put off by the google reviews before travelling but I am very satisfied with the stay and will recommend.

My partner and I were probably heat exhausted by the time we made it to the hotel - the hotel was thankfully in a more quiet area, conveniently walking distance from the train station - the hotel staff were warm and friendly and accommodating and check in went super smoothly. The room was extremely tiny and the decor and chairs were so old and dirty. I reserved a queenside bed and got two double beds. The water in the sink and shower only worked whenever it wanted to and the ac would cut on and off all day and night in June when Rome is hot and humid! I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property is tucked away in an alleyway. And it was a mix use property/building. Advance notice in a welcome with instructions to access building and where to go would have helped. Our AC unit was broken but they a portable one in the room. But it was not connected and we had to go down to have them inspect it. Only to findout the air vent needed to be connected and placed outside with the balcony door wide open. It was noisy and we felt unsafe with the balcony door kept open all night. But they had no other rooms so we didnt sleep much!

The hotel was quite nice, the lobby is on the 5th floor and our room was on the 6th. There is a small elevator and stair access to the top. The room itself is nice, the only downfall being no shower head- only hand held- and the bathroom door only opens half way due to smaller quarters. Neither of these bothered us and it was quite a nice stay. Just on the outskirts of the top sites but easily accessible by walking or subway.

So for a small hotel it was fine, nicely decorated however some of the furniture/fixtures were shabby and needed replacing otherwise fine, clean! Small but functional! Put our luggage out on patio area to save space. It is on the 5th floor of an apartment building and because of this and the rooms being just off the main staircase there was a fair amount of noise from people coming and going. Someone also knocked on our door at 3am, general shouting and hustle and bustle from within the building kept us up. It’s a bit of a walk from main landmarks however it’s right beside the train station which is great for connections and also if you plan on using a tour bus it’s super close. First night left me really tired from the noise but otherwise a good place to stay and I don’t think it’s the hotels fault but they may need to think about sound proofing

The day before arrival I received an email advising us that the elevator doesn’t work. The property is located on the 5th floor and our room was located on the sixth floor.
We had to go to the front desk to get hot water and then all water.
That said, it was the most comfortable bed we had on the whole trip.

The streets around are a bit scary at night especially if you’re a girl travelling alone, watch your belongings and travel with someone or use the scooter. Enjoyed our stay @ Roma. The hotel (room) is much nicer inside than it looks from the outside. The room was cozy but sufficient. The location was pretty good, not too far from the termini station and it’s convenient for public transportations. There’s many cafes/restaurants and small shops around, too. The receptionist was helpful, too. Only thing I didn’t give 5 stars was water pressure was not consistent, but it was ok most of the time. Overall we had a good time.

A great place to stay if you want to be near the main train station. The Hotel which is on the top 3 floors of an apartment building is beautifully decorated and comfortable. One caveat is that it's down a small street that didn't seem very appealing at first and you have to be buzzed up from the front door of the apartment building to get in and then take an elevator up to reception.

An old building with a small elevator that takes forever to get down. The hotel itself is situation in a residential building on the 5/6 floors. The kid at the reception was great, very helpful. The room however was a bit of a nightmare space wise. Being a tall person that i am, moving around especially in the shower was impossible. You cannot bend down in it as it was beyond tiny. The front door would hit the bed upon opening. Overall it was a newly remodeled unit.

Of note, this is top few floors of apt building. You have to be buzzed in and take an elevator to top floors (but the desk was always manned). Otherwise, v clean, comfy beds and staff was super-helpful. Rooms on small side, but modern, v clean. We chose due to location close to Termini and price. Small deck on each room was nice.

Our glasses of water was dirty! In fact not even a complementary water bottle in the room. The showers are so tiny! The reception didn’t take our criticism well, they had a bit of attitude. The bed was not comfortable not even the cushions! the floor was not clean.

Mark at the front desk was absolutely amazing. He was super attentive, answered our dumb questions, and was always ready to assist us.

Unfortunately, we had to checkout early as the AC unit in our room was malfunctioning. Mark definitely did his best to resolve the problem, but the unit pump required deeper repairs.

AC issues aside, we would stay here again due to the phenomenal customer service.

Domus mea is on the 5th floor of the building so can be a bit confusing for first time entry. Overall very comfortable stay and good price, would definitely stay again. But they need to fix that front door key slot.

Pros: rooms just renovated.
Cons: EVERYTHING. The reality is quite different from the pictures and all the reviews I've seen.
1. The rooms are so small, you can barely open the bathroom door without hitting the bed.
2. Everything is quite cheap... the rooms are renovated with taste but everything else is at the bare minimum: no hotel shoes, the towels are the cheap ones that leave cloth on you, shower gel 3 in 1 to be used as shampoo and conditioner as well...
3. There is no storage room for your luggage
4. One guy at the front desk who has the day shift is so RUDE I literally checked if it's refundable to go to another hotel... he told me he's doing me a favor to store my luggage because we could not check in early and that he's doing me a favor that I can stay at this hotel :)) as if I wasn't paying for it. I was literally shocked. He allowed me to leave my luggage there until I could check in, and it's literally in this tiny hallway in everybody's path and he did not even give me a ticket for the bags... like no way to know if it's mine or somebody can ask for them etc. I was literally nervous if my stuff will still be there... in the end it was fine upon arrival, but upon departure mu luggage that is pretty sturdy was literally cut! I don't even know how that is possible... even plunging a knife through it would not do that. But hey, at least nothing was stolen!

Etc. etc. etc. the worst hotel experience. Would not go back if you pay me.

A special thank you to Alex and the rest of the staff at the hotel!! This was our first trip to Europe; and after some rather frustrating and disappointing issues with Condor and Justfly that prevented us from making our Airb&b reservation in Greece, this place really took great care of us. It was central to everything! The terminal station was right down the street and around the corner. Shops, stores, and restaurants where everywhere. And all of the famous attractions were only about a 20 minute walk away. My husband and I walked everywhere and it was absolutely fun! The room was amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable! The air conditioning work very well! So if you get cold just ask for a blanket! I recommend to everyone!

Beautiful \"new\" hotel, but with some drawbacks

The positives: The hotel has been renovated and renewed. It shows, as it's very clean, well designed and in excellent condition.
The 24/7 reception is a big plus.
The negative aspects are:
Poor sound isolation. Noise from adjacent rooms and the street outside sippers through very strongly. Earplugs are recommended.

The hotel is located on the 5th and 6th floor of a building near the train station. The room was renovated and looked quite new, although a bit small, but we were mostly out anyway, so didn't mind. The water pressure and temperature was changing from time to time in the middle of using the shower and they need some calcification cleaning as water sprays in all possible directions, probably even worse in the sink. Other than that, it is close to all sites to visit while in Rome and we dis enjoy our stay.

The service was wonderful. The hotel is simple but clean and very comfortable beds. If is on the fifth floor of a residential building. The entrance to the building was being remodeled by the hotel during our stay. The location is near Termini station which makes it easy access to the airport by train (30 minutes express train). It is not the most typical or ideal location for tourism because it is more of a business district but it is walkable distance to plenty tourist sites and trendy neighborhoods.

À fuir!!

Je tiens à exprimer mon profond mécontentement. Le prix est scandaleux au regard de la prestation fournie et le séjour n’était absolument pas conforme à la description.

Voici les faits constatés :
•L’eau du robinet et de la douche était blanche, saturée de calcaire, impossible à utiliser pour se doucher ou se brosser les dents. Nous avons dû acheter plusieurs litres d’eau en bouteille.
•Plomberie défectueuse : l’eau jaillit de manière anarchique, la cuvette des toilettes est bancale.
•Hôtel délabré et mal situé : bien que les chambres semblent rénovées, le bâtiment est vétuste, avec des tags, fils apparents, moisissures et une cage d’ascenseur en bois poussiéreuse.
•L’hôtel est situé dans un immeuble d’habitation ordinaire, sur deux étages (5ᵉ et 6ᵉ), dans un quartier peu sûr. Nous avons même été agressés à notre retour un soir en entrant dans l’immeuble.
•Bruit constant, murs très fins, impossible de dormir.
•Le “lit double” était en réalité deux lits simples collés.
•Aucune bouteille d’eau dans le frigo à notre arrivée.
•Enfin, la taxe de séjour a été exigée en espèces, ce qui nous a obligés à sortir pour retirer de l’argent, l’hôtel refusant le paiement par carte.
