Rented 2 rooms and couldn’t adjust ac in both. One room too cold and one room too hot bc ac didn’t work. Other than that the hotel was clean and pretty. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Conveniently located across from train station.

This is a wonderful property in a great location to enjoy Rome, Italy. The property is well-maintained and the staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The quality of the room and the cleanliness was Top drawer. The one thing they need to improve on is their maintenance on some occasions. The condition of the shower required the intervention of the concierge as well as the general manager to have it properly fixed during our stay. Once they became involved, they were excellent in recovering and getting the item fixed immediately.

Despite this one issue, this property is highly recommended.

The room was beautiful, updated very nice. It was not cramped, the shower could have been updated, tiles were old or worn out. Service for the room needs help, the coffee was not filled every day, had to have it requested, they mentioned water is complementary the first day you get your room, but it's only that day, the rest of the days you need to pay for it. Room service is amazing, they have a very good chef. Overall very nice and pleasant and close to the train station!

The staff were all super friendly and helpful - particular mentions for the 2 concierge who were always friendly and greeted us on arrival and departure and helped with any questions; the reception staff were also very efficient and friendly and the restaurant staff were also friendly and attentive

The hotel was a little short on atmosphere - there was no real bar area - it was shared with the restaurant and the roof-top bar was closed during our stay in April

The hotel is very conveniently located for the station, but there is a lack of quality restaurants in the immediate vicinity, you have to travel further afield to find them

There is a construction right on front so the entrance is not visible, some signs would be very helpfull. I went all the way around without finding it, so I had to call the front desk and follow their instructions.

Not all the bedrooms have USB ports on the night tables which I found disappointing for a five star hotel.

TV is very small for the distance that you have between the bed and the wall.

Excellent concierge. Easy and supportive staffs who were eager to assist their guests with any issues. Check in and out were breey. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The shower area was also very spacious with two washing areas. Breakfast offered at the restaurant was excellent. My children claimed that the hotel offered the best breakfast in Italy. We also had dinner at the same restaurant. Service and food were both great. One of my sons had pasta and he claimed that it was the best pasta in Rome. Will come back again in near future.

We stayed here for our last night in Rome before the long journey back to Canada. Unfortunately when we checked in the water was not working so we left for the day without being able to shower. When we returned that evening, our room was very hot as the AC was not working. We had to call several times before we were finally moved to a new room at 1am. Not what we expected from a 4 star hotel with an expensive rate.

The room itself was very nice and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, had we not had to change rooms in the middle of the night we would have slept very well.

The parking was 50 Euro for one night and there was a 20 Euro fee to use the hotel pool. Both of which other hotels we stayed at in the same rating a fees provide at no extra cost.

The staff were very friendly and tried their best to help with the many issues we had. I would not stay here again and we did not feel that we received the value of the stay.

Fantastic people at the reception and at the concierge desk. Very helpful, kind and honest. We were concerned about being taken advantage of because of our tourist status… but they made us feel at home. Room cleaning was done very well and each day.
The only feedback would be if they could leave a couple of basic still water bottles in the room, that would be fantastic. Sure it will cost them a couple of Euros a day… but should be worth it for the convenience to the guests. People need to take medication at night… and can’t order water from room service everyday and wait for it to arrive.

First of all the hotel don’t show you the main corridors, which are narrow and all black , amd you fell yourself as in a funeral hall! The bathrooms are horrible, humid , smells . And around the hotel there are many homeless people who sleeps on the streets. And the area is very noisy!

Proximity to Roma termini was the best! You can essentially get to anywhere in Rome. Airport is convenient 20 minute train ride away- nonstop.

This is a beautiful building but is a 5 star hotel that needs TLC. Our room had a damp odor that would not go away. We think the bathroom may have ventilation / drying issues causing the mildew-y smell. Our stay was only for two nights so it was manageable- we likely would’ve moved hotels if our stay was longer.

Book this for the extremely convenient location but if you’re expecting your typical 5 star luxe stay- this is not it.

Staff and service was great. We arrived early at 9a- our room wasn’t ready so they offered us coffee on the house at Senses until the room was prepped. Very accommodating!

We booked a junior suite, but the suite we were given initially did not live up to the word “suite.” It had a strange layout, was dark, and had a washroom spread across different parts of the room. In a word, it was a poorly designed suite that felt like a rip-off given the price. We were later moved to another suite, which was much better but still did not offer good value for money. Our recent stay at a junior suite in the Westin may have set high expectations. On the plus side, the staff were helpful and courteous.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was a combination of modern and old architecture, very clean with friendly staff who were there for us. We enjoyed buffet breakfast with variety of food and drinks including champagne and all kinds of fresh fruit juices and homemade cakes and Italian desserts. Rooftop restaurant has a great view with live music, and we had great time having dinners and drinks there. Rooms are clean and with modern design. SPA and pool area is very nice, clean, and quiet that after a busy day you can relax there. We loved staying there and I recommend it to everyone who has a great taste.

Disappointing stay.

This hotel is very over-priced for the quality of their rooms and the service they provide.

We booked a queen bed but instead were given a room with 2 single bed pieced together.

We booked a 50min couple massage but was shortchanged cuz only 40min was actually done.

The staff is slow in getting our stored luggage and we missed our train despite staying directly opposite the station.

The surrounding environment is also not very safe and clean.

Overall,I will not book again.

Hotel staff very helpful in calling taxi service for us and for helping us get tickets to the Vatican.

Dislikes:
Wife was furious because air condition would not cool enough and would shut off. After complaining about this on multiple occasions to the front desk, nothing was done to resolve the issue, except for being told that they would take care of it, but nothing happened. This is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel.

Very stingy on hand soap and other room toiletries. I had to ask for more soap, since they only gave you one tiny bar of soap.

Shower leaking water through the shower walls onto the suite wood floor. This was brought to the front desk’s attention.

Cocktails and fancy dinner at the hotel restaurant were way overpriced for what you got. The breakfast which was included in our rate was actually better that our dinner there.

You guys will not be disappointed! From the time you arrive in your taxi you’re greeted by the car door. Rain or shine. One raining yucky day the doorman ran outside in the rain and held up the umbrella and opened the door.

The food in there is delicious. ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST BUFFET!

Very comfortable beds and awesome water pressured shower heads and stone bathtubs!

The staff are at the highest quality of professional! Front desk, bellman, doorman, and restaurant staff

Lorenzo the doorman has to be my favorite person in the hotel! He’s the doorman!

You guys you must stay here!!! Worth every Euro❤️

I don't think the staff here understands the concept of good customer service, especially expected from a 5 star property.

There was a taxi strike in Rome the last 2 days (of 3) that we stayed at the property. The night before checkout I call to arrange for a private car and the answer was that the taxi strike will be over by the morning (my departure). The next morning I check out and ask the bellman for a taxi and the answer was that strike is still on and asked me to arrange for an uber myself at the last minute (at 7 AM in the morning), while scrambling to get to the airport in time. Pure luck, I got an uber just in time (considering that they were in demand due to the taxi strike).

Also - at the time of check-in, we request the front desk to call a restaurant to make a reservation - the answer was no one is picking up at the restaurant - my wife gets a local sim and we call, and surprisingly we get through at first attempt (coincidence? maybe not! ).

This is not the customer service what we are used to from staying at many other 5 star properties in this trip and in prior trips.

This was the worst hotel experience of this trip of 20 days, having stayed at 7 different hotels across different towns in Italy. I would happily give all the other 6 hotels a 5 star rating and this one not more than 2 stars.

The hotel seems modern and elegant but some of the feature are broken. The spa shower is inoperable. The best thing about this hotel is the location and friendly staff. The staff was superb, very friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is very well located only a 20min walk from the main attractions, such as the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps etc. The only downside is that our room on the third world was shaking every time a big vehicle would pass by and the room’s ventilation wasn’t as great. However, we had a great time. The breakfast was perfect for us, very nutritious and very filling.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and usually have a great experience. This time around it was extremely different. They had just reopened and seemed unorganized. Despite giving a note ahead of time that we were on our honeymoon and are returning guests, they didn’t have our room ready for us. We waited an hour and a half after the check in time. They did upgrade the room but only after we had to remind them of our note. the staff didn’t even offer us water after our travels. We also ordered waters to the room 2 times before having it delivered after a 3rd phone call to the reception. The hotel has always been a great experience for us but this time around it just didn’t feel the same.

Services down, dirty spa and food poisoning...

After traveling across Europe for a few weeks the final stop for our stay in Rome was here at this hotel. I hate leaving negative reviews but feel the experience myself and my Aunt had here should be shared with those who may have high hopes for booking this property.

When we checked in the phone in the room was not working. I couldn't call down the to front desk, spa or room service. Instead I was using my personal cell phone to reach the hotel. This was not only a hassle but also at my own expense.

After taking spa appointments we witnessed two young couples in the jacuzzi hot tub in the spa area behaving very inappropriately. It was disgusting illicit acts that do not need to be repeated here. I will say we are just glad that we did not have children with us. When I spoke to Marco the manager about this he seemed to smile and find this concern amusing. I was disappointed with the phone not working in the room as well and I had the feeling I was bothering him with these matters.

Lastly, to make us 100% sure we will never stay at this hotel again, when eating breakfast at the Senses restaurant downstairs, my Aunt got very sick. She has been traveling and didn't have anything to eat until this meal at the hotel. We are sure it was the omelet she had there and sadly could not eat or sleep for a day and a half.

The photos look nice and the location was great however if you can find a better spot for your money I would recommend it. This was a big let down for us.

Great place but barely warm water for one week in a suite is difficult to accept for a 5 stars Palazzo... Hotels conveniently situated across the termini station so very handy if you arrive by train from the airport. Surroundings are not the best ( a bit noisy and at the crossing of 2 mains streets). Service was impeccable including the in house spa. Food was also very good.

Staff was very helpful you could walk to most site seeing the only thing you need to keep in mind as you are not told when you ask them to call a taxi for you they charge £14 just to make the call! It was a big shock to see on your bill. So you pay the taxi driver and the hotel also the breakfast is £25 for just sitting down I had toast and tea and it still cost £25 very expensive.

Great location is very close to the train station which has a fast train from the airport. The staff was delightful and very helpful. We originally had one of the rooms with the angled walls. We had an issue with the hot water and the manager could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We moved to a spa room which was lovely. The hotel is housed in a very old, gorgeous building but inside it is fully modern. If you do have mobility issues, make sure to check to make sure that they can accommodate you. The shower in our first room was in a very deep bathtub which would be difficult for someone with any physical limitations to use and the second room had steps inside. The neighbor had some great places nearby to eat and the main sites were a quick cab ride away. We will be happy to return here one day soon!

From entering to leaving, our stay was great! The room was spacious and clean. The front desk was always ready to help us find things to do and places to eat. I love the decor of the hotel as well as the multiple elevators. The breakfast was included. My only suggestion would be to change up the selection. It was getting boring eating the same exact things every morning.

It is in a great location. Right across from the train station. The rooftop is very pretty! And the staff up there is very helpful and fun to talk to! I would visit again!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel. There were only 2 issues where you stand in the shower was cracked and patched back together but it was done very well. We were so afraid we would cut our feet so we used extra caution. There was also a odor in both rooms. We think maybe it was coming from the plumbing. It smelled like boiled eggs outside of those things its a beautiful quaint little hotel.

Amazing experience!

Amazing hotel with great service and great amenities. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and the roof top bar was a great way to end our evening. We would absolutely stay in the hotel again if the the opportunity arises.

Personal extraordinary, they will help in anything you might need. Spa is one of the best I’ve been. Neighborhood is not too safe and trash is seen all over streets around hotel. Some little thing like having coffee or tea in the room (very important)

Location is excellent, minutes walk from Termini station and in walking distance of many of the key sights. Unique decor and furnished to a high standard. Modern furnishings and fittings. Staff very pleasant and made every effort to help. Only criticisms are that there was only one chair available in the room and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Our 11-night stay at Palazzo Montemartini was superb. It has a top notch staff to thank for our experience. They all worked together seamlessly and appeared to communicate really well with each other. Someone always seemed to be on top of any request or sorting out of any issues.
We chose the hotel specifically for the location and for the Radisson breakfast. Neither one disappointed. We loved being across from Termini station. It made commuting on day trips out of Rome much easier. We also found walking to and from major sights very easy to do. Everything is also within easy reach by taxi, which the hotel will call for you.
Breakfast each morning was a treat. They offer a good selection of items to get your day started. Selection included good breads, smoked salmon, cheeses, cold meats, julienned veggies, dried fruits, cereals, yoghurts, jams and spreads, sliced fruits, whole fruits and a selection of hot items. We found the staff attentive and friendly. We loved that it was not a rushed affair.
It is our understanding that Radisson only recently took over the Palazzo. We hope they will refurbish the rooms, since this was our only real gripe while staying here. They are billed as a 5-star hotel, but for us the rooms and hallways don't necessarily reflect what we believe a 5-star hotel to be. Some rooms and hallways appear a little shabby and in need of a refresh. That said, we still rate our stay a ten. We look forward to our next visit there already.

The room was large, clean, well kitted out. The view looked onto the main square at the train station, but the glazing was good and with the windows shut, was well sound proofed.
Food in the hotel was overpriced.
