This is a great hotel that is in an ideal location. It is only a couple of blocks from the main Rome train station and offers a great hot breakfast with a lot of options 😋 The rooms are clean and modern and the hotel has an upbeat fun vibe.

Very close to main station which is good, staff friendly.
Room was ok and I would call it average. Bathroom was tiny with no shelf in the shower so you had to keep your toiletries on the floor whilst showering. Shower very temperamental and was either boiling hot or cold, when you did find an ideal temperature it didn’t stay at it, so no good if a child went in. Shower doors open weirdly so it’s a struggle to get them to fit together so no gap for water to escape. Breakfast is €15 each and not a lot on offer for that, you can have items from the bakery at extra cost, the bakery is part of the breakfast area. But breakfast area is with anyone who comes in bakery/coffee shop. Breakfast much better value from Florian’s and more choice including hot items. Wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Excellent stay in Moderno Hotel

What a wonderful time we had. The personnel was so nice. We really appreciate all the help we had from Suzan, Emma and Mattia. From day one, Suzan and Emma received us and gave us some directions through the city. Mattia later served us at the bar with his large smile. You have three valuable employees with positive attitudes that give an excellent service. Adding to the nice and comfortable room environment.

Look no further! This hotel is the best!

All was great with the room, building and service! The only thing missing would be to have a chair at the room. This hotel has a rooftop/terrace with a great view to the city and Roma Termini, which is 4 blocks away, so it’s extremely convenient for saying the least. I would like to mention that Emma from the front desk was very nice, friendly and professional. You always want as a welcome a person like her.

I had a wonderful stay in Roma — the hotel’s room was smaller than i anticipated but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond, even reserving a taxi for me. I would definitely stay here again.
One thing to note: while the hotel itself felt safe and comfortable, the surrounding area seemed a bit sketchy at night. so extra caution is advised when walking around after dark.

We only stayed here on our last night in Rome. Very good location, overall clean place. Unfortunately, the AC was not working in our room. We went just a week ago but the weather was still hot. We opened the window which gave a nice breeze, but because of the location, it was a bit too loud to continue having the window opened throughout the night.

Regardless, we'd stay here again. Just make sure the AC works if you're staying during a warmer time of the year.

Loved that this property is so close to the train station. The train station is huge and has so many shops and eateries, love the easy block and a half walk.
The rooms are small and walls are thin but my two teens liked having their own separate twin beds. We went in October and they turned off air conditioning and only could turn on heat. Room felt stuffy since no air so had to have window open at night. Garbage truck comes very early and really noisy.
If being close to train station is important then this is a great place, staff was wonderful and our room was always cleaned when we left for the day.

The room and hallways had strange smells and I had blood on my towels in the bathroom. The blood, of course, was not mine and was already there when I got there. The staff was very nice though and upgraded me to a larger room.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful - they arranged airport transfer to the hotel which was much appreciated. We were able to walk to the train station and took the train back to the airport went we left. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Roma Termini train station and a lot of attractions. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable. The a/c was turned off halfway through our stay and we were advised that this is normal at this time of year when the cooler season starts although temperatures got up to 77° - we were told to open our window to refresh the air in the room. The breakfast was good. Overall a good stay.

All is good with the property but for the air conditioner in room that hardly works. There are no controls to control temperature - just on for cool air that was barely moving any air.

For just one night, it was ok.

The welcome went well and as the room was not ready we were offered to store our luggage while waiting, which was appreciated. Afterwards we ate there. For this aspect, the service was very unpleasant. The waitress didn't help us understand the menu and she made no effort to understand us (her English wasn't very good). We also ordered 2 Aperol spritzs and the waiter looked discouraged, he didn't seem to have the inclination to serve us.

To finish, the room was very clean, the bathroom had a nice large shower, but there was a very unpleasant smell of humidity in the room. We were told that it was normal. The ventilation hatch in the room being very dirty, that didn't help.

Breakfast was served on the rooftop, which was a big plus.

For just one night, it was ok.

I had an overnight stay in Rome and needed to be close the Roma Termini, I found a gem. The hotel is a few blocksaway, the room was great, breakfast was good, nearby restaurants for dinner. Excellent hotel for a night or a week

We would never stay there again! The hotel itself was fine. It’s right next to the main Rome train station (Roma Termini) so it’s convenient. The issue we had was the night we stayed at the hotel, there was a problem with the fire alarm. From about midnight and all night long, it went off every few minutes. We couldn’t sleep at all. There was no apology, no explanation at all.
So the conclusion is that if everything is fine then the hotel is fine. If there are issues then you’re on your own. Pay a little extra and stay at a better hotel where they care about the customers.

No cupboard to put your clothes, no space in the bathroom to put your stuff as well. Breakfast is not buffet but you have to ask the staff every time to put food in your plate, I find it super annoying. Hotel is near main train bus station area so it’s not v clean and I could see homeless ppl sleeping in the street through my window

My husband and I stayed for 6 days and would definitely stay again. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable though the bed was a little firmer than we normally prefer. The only minor annoyances to note were that in our room the shower filled with water very quickly so we’d have to shut it off a few times while showering so that the water could drain before finishing up. Also, we’re not sure why but on 2 nights the fire alarm went or was somehow set off though there was no emergency, which caused a little panic. Otherwise everything was great!

This is more like a 2 star hotel. The tv didnt work, the bathroom was dirty. The sink acted up. The door did not close and elevator had response issues. Plus the breakfast was just wrapped snacks not real breakfast. They also had construction going which was annoying. They also did not refill everything in the rooms like soap. The only positive is the workers were nice.

Poor quality for a hotel that is 4 star

We were moved from our original room after we complained about the dirty room vent. The Manager apologised and upgraded us to a higher class of room. Basically this hotel is still being built and in no way is a 4 star. In our room there were paint splashes on the window frames and a broken floor tile near the balcony door. The bathroom had a footprint in the plaster of the floor. On the balcony there were no chairs but a concrete planter with a dead plant in it and several cigarette buts. There are no facilities for breakfast but a room was assigned for coffee and prepackaged food items. This room was in the basement. The attention to detail you expect from a 4 star hotel was sadly lacking.
The staff were responsive to my comments but basically we were staying in a building site.

Dejlig ophold. Venlig personale. Ok morgemad. Vores værelse standard var med vindue men dette var dækket af folie så man ikke kunne se ud. Derudover var der en del skimmel i brusenichen. Vi manglede også enten møbel til kuffert eller skab tøjet kunne ligge i. Vores kuffert med tøj måtte stå på gulvet. Bortset fra det var det en god oplevelse i 6 overnatninger.

The hotel in itself and the hotel is generelly of good standard for the cheap pricing. Its close to the main trainstation and metro. The room is a little loud to the hallway. But this is not abnormal in my experience.

Our breakfast experience was horrible tho. The selection was small which in itself isnt a big problem but several key things were missing. Bread, water and plates were empty for 10-15 minutes. The breakfast is in a cafe and everyone seemed busy serving the cafe guests so no one was taking care of the hotel breakfast guests. This was very disappointing. I feel like regardless of how busy the cafe is there should be atleast one dedicated person watching the hotel breakfast.

Camere moderne e minimali come piace a me, con un bagno simpatico e una grande doccia, purtroppo un po' rovinata sul pavimento. Letto comodo e area silenziosa, anche se molto centrale. La colazione purtroppo è molto deludente: servita all'ingresso, mentre la gente entra e esce (e di conseguenza entra il freddo e c'è caos). Un bancone che sarà 6 metri lineari contiene le poche cose disponibili: piccole brioche vuote, pane a fette (no panini), qualche marmellata e burro, quattro brocche di succo, una torta, una ciotola di yogurt bianco e qualche cereale, una ciotolina con un po' di macedonia. Accanto continua il bancone con brioche variegate e il bar, aperto anche a chi non è ospite (scelta discutibile). Eccetto le bevande da chiedere al bancone, il resto si può avere solo pagando. Non è certo una colazione che vale 15 euro. Una vera delusione che ha reso il soggiorno più amaro, andato a meraviglia fino a quel momento. Sottolineo che sono una persona adattabile e che non ha grandi pretese, ma per una colazione che si paga extra mi è sembrata una grande presa di giro.

L’accoglienza è stata gradevole e veloce. La camera era pulita ed in ordine. L’unica osservazione riguarda la doccia che purtroppo mostrava alcuni segni di ruggine, non particolarmente gradevole alla vista. La mattina sono andato via presto e mi è stata data una colazione al sacco.

Ho speso 169 euro (più la tassa di soggiorno) per una notte e mi hanno dato una camera piccola, senza una scrivania e una sedia, solo uno sgabello dove ho poggiato il mio zaino, il bagno piccolo e senza finestra. La stanza era separata da quella accanto da una porta scorrevole a specchio non insonorizzata, tanto che sentivo le telefonate e il televisore degli occupanti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo pessimo.

Kusina og jeg booka rom her 2 netter i september. Perfekt beliggenhet ifht togstasjonen, 2 kvartaler å gå. Kjempehyggelig dame i resepsjonen da vi sjekket inn. Vi fikk oppgradering og et stort rom i 8. etasje. Super service! Rommet var rent og fresht. Egen kaffemaskin, smart TV, safe. God seng med 2 puter og dyne.

Todo estuvo muy bien. La única observación es que estuvimos 4 días pidiendo que nos dieran hielo y no fue posible. Primero que la máquina estaba dañada y después que solamente lo daban para tragos y ya. Y con ese calor que estaba haciendo no logramos un vaso con hielo

테르미니역과 가까운 호텔이지만, 소음과 청결도가 떨어짐

뚜벅이에게 테르미니역과 도보 5분 내로 접근성이 매우 좋고, 근처 코나드시티마트, 미슐랭가이드 한식당 가인 및 바로 옆에 가성비 좋은 이태리식당이 있다.

그러나 좋지 않았던 점은
1. 새벽에 청소차가 와서 쓰레기 싣는 등 외부 소음이 크며, 옆방에 체크인을 밤늦게 한 경우 문여닫는소리, 샤워하는 소리 등이 잘 들려 소음에 취약합니다.
2. 샤워실 바닥이 노후하여 다 까졌는데도 수리하지 않고,
욕실 바닥에는 다수의 개미들이 나와 호텔에 강하게 컴플레인 하였음.
3. 2박하였는데, 바티칸박물관 관람을 위해 아침 일찍 나섰고 룸 출입문에는 분명히 청소해달라는 표시를 걸어놓았음에도, 14시 30분에 룸에 복귀하였더니 청소와 타월 교체가 되어 있지 않아 프런트 전화해서 즉각적인 청소와 타월 교체 요청했음.
4. 0층 로비에는 프런트와 식당만 있어, 잠시 대기하거나 쉴 공간이 전혀 없음.
5. 조식이 다른 호텔에 비해 허접함.

Die Dame beim Empfang ignorierte uns beim Einchecken und schaute durch uns hindurch, um mit einem anderen Gast zu bedienen. Als wir italienisch sprachen, durften wir einchecken. Man hat uns nichts erklärt, geschweige wo der Lift zum Zimmer ist, schon gar nicht wie die Bedienung dessen funktioniert. Hat Potential, um sich zu verbessern.

Ett litet hotell men bra placering, nära till terminalen. Men utsikten genom fönstren är inget att hurra över. Mycket bra frukostbuffe som drar upp betyget och hjälpsam personal.

Spartanskt rum men väl fungerade Ac och bekväm säng som inte är för mjuk. Kylskåp finns!

För priset var det bra, det finns charmigare men skulle nog kostat det dubbla så centralt beläget.
