Firstly the good,
The location is very good near to the main termini from there you can get anywhere pretty much in italy not just rome.
Value for money is good too with the breakfast available a nice bonus if not very limited choice.
The staff were all polite friendly and booking in was seemless and quick.
The bad
The hotel is very tired years ago im sure it was very nice with art deco touches now just tired, ( there is building working going on as they refurb which woke us at 7am).
The room was an ok size and the beds clean but again walls grubby.
The bathroom needs special mention as it hD all you need even if the shower cubicle was very small.(i had to open doors to wash).
I woul say it is currently worthy of maybe a two star. It did what we needed and gave us safe dry accomodation but i wouldnt stay again.
If all you want is good value basic accomodation then dont be put off.

Grateful that we were able to check in earlier than 2pm. I find the staff indifferent. It seemed as if they cater more if you’re Italian. At breakfast, we saw the staff preparing espresso from scratch to an Italian guest so we thought it was being offered so we asked but was told we can only use the vending kind of machine. Another guest noticed so he asked for an espresso only to be told to use the machine. If this is not offered then it should be for everyone as we are all paying guests. Location is great, housekeeping is the only nicest person we encountered from this hotel. This is our 5th trip in Italy, 3rd time in Rome staying in a hotel but this is truly the first time we felt really unwelcomed.

Very polite staff, great access to public transport. Breakfast is the same every day, with no options to choose from. Despite the efforts of the cleaning staff, the condition of the hotel and rooms is in terrible technical shape. The walls in the room are dirty, damaged, cracked, everything is old.

Check in was simple. Booked a single room, as i only needed it for one night before my flight home.
Room is run down looking. 4 of 6 towels in the bathroom were stained. Pillows don't have the sanitary cover, only a pillow case.
Both pillows were stained yellow and very old and unsettling to sleep on. Not even sure if the floors were washed before my arruval as there were areas of obvious thick dust.

Booked this based on the reviews, must be for the more expensive rooms. As this one was sub par

Pluses: The room was clean. Close to the train terminal. Negatives: The room was extremely dated and some of the walls were stained. The room was tiny. There was loud construction inside the hotel starting early in the morning at 7:30am (drilling, hammering, and grinding), which went on until we left at 9:30am. There was only an accessible power outlet on one side of the bed.

This is a 2.5 star hotel. There is nothing wrong with it...you get what you pay for. It is clean and functional. Staff is pleasant. Location is convenient to both the train and subway. Complimentary breakfast was a nice plus. It is not luxurious. Neighborhood is fine; some good restaurants nearby.

The people were friendly but the place as a whole was a bit disappointing. The mattress was hard, not firm, and hollowed out like it was well past its prime. The towels and comforters had also seen better days. Staff in the morning began working around 7 am very loudly in the hallway cleaning rooms and woke us up every morning.

We chose this hotel because it had easy access to the train station. However, when we asked about air conditioning, the receptionist told us it wouldn’t be turned on until Monday! Our room was on the first floor, and since it was quite warm during our stay (around 25°C), we had to open the window for some breeze. Unfortunately, there was no screen on the window, and the room quickly filled with mosquitoes—we got bitten several times. So basically, you have to choose between sleeping in 25°C with humidity or getting bitten by mosquitoes!

the place felt completely dirty. we were only there for one night and it felt so unclean and unsanitary, would not recommend. the morning after i spotted a bug on the bed i wasn't sure what it was and sure enough identified it as a bed bug. i examined by body and had bites everywhere. i had to do a deep cleaning of everything i had. This building was comfortable and felt more secured compared to the annex. The main building felt more of a hotel with modern amenities. Make sure you get or print a copy of your buffet reservation as they'd ask for it. Hotel Piemonte is walkable to Roma Termini. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

The entire family was bitten by BEDBUGS everywhere on the bodies.

BEDBUGS issue is an ongoing problem at this hotel as described before by other unsuspecting guests.

Also the hotel is really not a hotel. They rented a non hotel building half of a block away on the fourth floor with scary old musty entrance.

This establishment should not be in business due to extreme health issues it negligently causes. A true nightmare.

Great location near the train station, easy walk to hop on hop off, decent restaurants(actually fantastic by American standards within a few blocks, easy checkin and out, breakfast was good, decent sized room for 4 people
Minuses: thin walls, you can hear everything in the hall and surrounding rooms, shower was tiny with no pressure, linens and towels weren’t great

Overall it was a good hotel. Met our needs for being in central Rome and had a decent price. I’d stay here again

The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of Roma Termini. We checked in after midnight and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was in a different building but it was just across the street. Breakfast had an additional cost but it was worth it. It was varied and had great coffee, juice, bread, pastries, etc. It is an excellent place to spend the night but it may also be good for spending a few days sightseeing in the area.

We were given a room in the Attic, a separate building so had to walk around to get there. The room looked very warn out and not that clean. The bedding looked quite poor. Only after we checked in, we realized that many reviews were mentioning bedbugs - we looked at the beds and while we didn't find any clear signs of their presence, one mattress cover had some dirty stains of unclear origin. After all of that, we realized that our peace of mind is worth more than the cost of stay so we found another place close by and moved there. It was our mistake not to do enough due diligence upfront so be aware and make an informed choice.

Do not stay here. It is like a hostel because you check in and then go around the corner to an old building where the hotel rents a floor. It felt very unsafe inside, the elevator was tiny and barely worked so we took our luggage up 3 flights. There are multiple doors
To finally get to a room that was for a “family” that had 4 single fold away beds. It felt unclean and smelled of cigarette smoke despite getting a non smoker room. There was no tv remote and old socks that someone forgot in the closet. We stayed overnight before a cruise so we just slept and left but if I were staying for more than that I would have been even more disappointed.

The location is good as it's close to the train station but it is a couple streets away so you do have to keep your wits about you. Area surrounding the train station is pretty dank but it is convenient.

The hotel for the most part is decent enough. I wouldn't say it's a romantic hotel or good for business travel, but it's satisfactory if you just want to visit Rome. There is air conditioning and an elevator. I didn't both with the breakfast. I stayed in a single room. It felt like a college dorm, but it was fine even though the room was small.

Upon our arrival to the hotel, the clerk was on the phone with what was obvisouly a personal phonecall. We stayed waiting in front of the desk for a good 15 minutes while he was laughing and gossip and looking at us. At some point, he finally asked us what we wanted very rudely and when we mentionned it was for check in, he hung up the phone. Very rude encounter. We finally got our room which was not in the hotel but in another building where we had to walk to. Very old building. The old elevator was out of service and the hotel had rooms on the third floor of that building. We had to carry our bag 3 floors up. Finally the room was very disappointing. With marking on the wall. There is no AC simply a vent with some cold air sometimes.
Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. This was clearly not a 3star hotel.

Stayed for 5 nights in July, the air con was a big plus! Location is perfect, ideal base to explore Rome and close to the train station which was good for links to both of Romes airports. Breakfast is basic but fine to start the day, the room is basic too but was comfortable. Local restaurants are all really good, Bramble which is 100 metres from the hotel was excellent. Overall a great stay for me and my family (2 kids)

Very convenient location :close to train, restaurants and attractions, however , room was outdated , no rack for suitcase but and old dirty chair. Since no Air condition, having the window open was very noisy, hotel is located in a heavy foot traffic area, loud people talking and laughing could be heard till late at night.
