The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large for a city! The hotel is just beautiful. The breakfast was very very good. We had a train to catch the next morning and it was a quick safe walk.

The staff is genuinely invested in your experience, the property is immaculate, the amenities are amazing, and the location is perfect (5 minute walk to Termini station & 20 minutes or less to some amazing local neighborhoods/restaurants/bars/experiences).

The rooms were fantastic! The staff were beyond friendly and more than accommodating. This is a brilliant property located minutes from Rome Termini train station. The breakfast was incredible, with numerous options from heart healthy to savoury sweet. Termini Station will get you to all the attractions you need within minutes by Metro. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and 5* does not do it justice. Anyone that has anything to complain about just doesn't understand the landscape and beauty of Italian architecture and hospitality! Thank you Liberty Boutique Hotel, we will definitely see you again soon!

We had a lovely stay at The Liberty. All team members were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was splendid with all menu items included. The hotel was spotlessly clean. There is no formal bar area, however the team is happy to provide a bar service from 3pm in the small library room or garden. We would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful hotel, around a mile from the centre. We had a deluxe room with a large balcony. Modern and clean. Breakfast was included or €15 which is well worth it . Fruit, cakes, cereal and juice, plus coffee/tea and a choice of bagel with smoked salmon, waffle, pancakes or eggs and sausage. It’s not much of a hotel with lobby’s etc.. more a hotel for using as a location as no other means are available and the bar opens 3pm to 9pm. So perfect as a base. Would definitely stay again.

The first night, when we tried to go to bed, there were dirty sheets on one of the beds. To the staff’s credit, someone came up immediately and changed the sheets. Still, it was midnight, and should not of happened at all. The room also had an overwhelming smell of vinegar.

The hotel offered umbrellas that were moldy on the inside. When I tried to leave them open to dry out the front desk told me to just close them and put them away.

Two factors that contribute to this review: it was pouring rain in Rome and we were coming from a 3 star hotel in Florence with enormous, squeaky clean, rooms and a 5 star staff.

I have been to Rome from the US three times now and have stayed at The Liberty each time. It is walkable from Rome Termini, has outstanding and gracious service, very nice clean rooms, a great breakfast option, and staff support that is worth mentioning more than once. I will be back on my next trip to Rome and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff at reception, breakfast and the cleaning staff could not be more helpful and friendly.
The room was spacious (for Rome), very clean with a good bathroom. Shower was excellent. Stayed in room 303 which had a good sized balcony.
Breakfast was excellent, buffet was available but a choose of 5-6 hot breakfast menus were served to the table. Coffee and orange juice also served to the table. Certainly would stay there again.

Short: One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. If you're considering this hotel, stop considering and just book it.

Long:

Pros:
-Staff is amazing. The service is second to none. This includes the breakfast staff, who are outstanding. They wanted nothing more than to put smiles on my child's face every time we went by the front desk. I was beyond impressed.
-The room is beautiful! There's a safe, Nespresso pods, cups, free bottled water, the mini-bar is only 2 Euro/each item, similar to buying at a grocery store for most things.
-The sink is low enough for a toddler to easily use, there's also a bench for really small kids.
-The toiletries are really good. They give you everything too...slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower caps, q-tips and so much more.
-The shower pressure is so good, that for the first time in my life I didn't open it up all the way.
-Both sides of the bed have USB-C and USB-A ports, so you don't need a converter to charge your devices.
-The location is an easy 20-30 min walk to most tourist attractions, especially if you bring a stroller for your kiddo.

Cons:
-It's shady to walk there from Roma Termini after midnight. During the day it's no problem.
-It's noisy...a crying baby in a nearby room will wake you up. I assume with AC on during the summer it's not a big deal and it's not enough to bring down the 5 stars that this property absolutely deserves.

I highly recommend this place and I'll be back!

Had the best time because everything was walkable. There are shops and restaurants near by and you can walk anywhere. Longest walk was to the colosseum 27 minute walk. Not bad at all. The staff is incredibly friendly and their breakfast is exactly what I need every morning. Not too heavy, just perfect and quality with taste. The ladies serving it are so sweet and welcoming. In Rome for business and would stay here again. All the drink desk staff are wonderful and professional. Thank you for a fantastic stay! Just keep that head on a swivel, this are in Rome is known for pick pockets. Otherwise, very safe

The staff at the Liberty Boutique was outstanding. They helped in so many ways with miscellaneous arrangements, taxis, extra items for the room, etc. The room was nice and clean and well maintained and the breakfast was outstanding and well worth the price: great coffee, lovely buffet, and cooked-to-order hot food, again with lovely staff.

The only thing future guests should be aware of is its location. While just 4 blocks from the train station and an easy walk to the Metro, it is a bit away from the historic center of Rome (e.g.,15-20 min cab ride to the coliseum). The Metro was great and easy to use so not a huge problem (except when there are delays).

Fabulous hotel in a safe area near termini terminal; we walked easily from termini to this hotel and did not need a cab; it was a short walk; a little bit of cobblestone, but mostly easy sidewalks; reasonable restaurant choices nearby although you may have to travel a little farther to get to better restaurants; the hotel itself is very clean, typical smaller room rooms, but we had an unbelievable patio, which was wonderful for an afternoon glass of wine; there’s also a garden patio downstairs, which is much larger; we actually walk to the Trevi and other tourist spots, although there is a slight uphill when you return. The staff was amazingly wonderful and accommodating and the morning breakfast is very good. They have a very large continental, but you also get your choice of eggs, waffles, or pancakes made to order and the cappuccino is fabulous.
Daily housekeeping and bed turned down also fresh towels every day

We were very close to the train station and Metro which made it easy to get around.
Jade gave us some places to see as far as contemporary art museums.

We stayed September 9–12 and loved this boutique hotel. It’s nicely tucked away from the tourist bustle so it felt peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s only a short walk to many of Rome’s main sights — the best of both worlds. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches that showed real attention to detail.

What stood out most was the service: the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making check-in/out and local recommendations effortless. Breakfast was a highlight — varied, fresh, and consistently excellent every morning. Overall it felt like a high-quality, personal experience rather than a generic hotel stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm base while exploring Rome.

A wonderful stay

It is a great location if you arrive by train, very walkable to famous sites and close to the metro for travelling further. The room was beautiful, had everything we needed and felt spacious. We also had a lovely terrace, great for chilling with a glass of wine! The breakfast was fantastic, a great selection and tasted fresh. The staff were all very helpful, giving great suggestions for things to do/see.

The room was lovely and the patio area was a perfect place to relax after a long day touring. The best part was the staff and service. They went out of their way to make out stay wonderful. The front desk personnel were very helpful, with setting up our transportation, and directions. Stephan was a pleasure as he served drinks and snacks on the patio.

We stayed at the Liberty Hotel in May for 7 nights. Everything was perfect especially the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful! We loved the location and it was easy to walk everywhere. The convenience of being so close to the Termini train station was a bonus! The rooms were awesome. Nice size, great air conditioning, comfortable beds and very quiet. The cleaning staff were so nice and did a fantastic job.

This was my third time staying in this hotel. I really like the rooms, they are spacious with really high ceilings and really COLD AIR CONDITIONING 😀 The hotel area is close to several interest points, there are multiple restaurants less than 100 feet away, and the staff is always friendly and courteous. I find the price to be ok. The included breakfast is always delicious 😋

Great hotel close to the train station. Amazing service, we had a terrace room which was a lovely sanctuary in the city with a small lemon tree in the corner. Breakfast was great, they have some buffet options but make other items to order. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the nespresso machine which i didnt find often in Italy as well as a cell phone you can use for international calls and navigating the city which was a wonderful touch. All mini bar items were 2 Euro which was great. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay at The Liberty Boutique Hotel in Rome. Just a few blocks away from the Termini train station in a quaint quiet neighborhood, the boutique hotel only has 25 rooms and we received amazing service from the front desk staff from the moment we arrived at the front steps of the hotel.
Our room was lovely a corner room which was simply beautiful, loved the lighting, the decor, comfortable beds, just the right size bathroom, huge towels, lots of storage and yet so quiet.
Any questions we had maps, bottled water, tips on places nearby & securing taxis. When in Rome look no further for a welcoming stay than the Liberty Boutique hotel!
