Small, but comfortable and clean room, excellent breakfast with a lot of options, excellent , corteous and friendly staff. The hotel is located at a 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini. The only downside: after 11 pm any inconvinient would need to be solved throught their sister hotel next door. Nothing difficult ( they gave us a code to open the main door of the building)but I think it is something every guest should know before booking. In general, it is a good option for a short stay in Rome.

A few of us stayed here, different rooms, different feedback. I had a room for 3 and it was fine. Basic and clean, comfy bed. My companions had smaller rooms. One was dirty, hair in sink and bath etc. I think it might be potluck what you get.
Its near the station so be extra vigilent.

It was a last minute reservation for us but everything was perfect! Skeptical in the beginning due to review posted but turned out the place was acceptable! The room was very clean, spacious for the two of us. The reception guy, Praveen was super polite and provided us with ample suggestions and breakfast option (since we need to leave earlier than the breakfast serving time) to enhance our experience even for a night but unfortunately we didnt have enough time. Would be happy to join if we have extra time.

Good breakfast but thats it. Run down, dirty floors, peeling paint in rooms. Old furniture, doors, fixtures. Heavy cleaning product smells, not good for someone with allergies or asthma. Overpriced with poor service. Had to check out early and they would not provide any refund.

Wonderful staff at Hotel Milani

Fabulous location in a quiet and safe area about a 7-10min walk to Termini train station. Walkable to all parts of Rome if you enjoy walking. 1-hour walk to Vatican City and about 30min walk to Trevi Fountain and Roman Ruins etc. Breakfasts are delicious and ample. They have a sister hotel virtually 2-doors down that makes wonderful coffee too. Very reasonably priced. Very friendly, helpful and effective staff. Highly recommend!

Bathroom in pristine condition , very comfortable.
Room lights were to sharp, though, we had to put a hat over the three tulips.
Exterior blind were perfect for darkened the room for a good sleep.

The Hotel rooms are dated. Way too dark inside the rooms. The small side table lamps does not do anything. The floor paint being dark gray does not help. It is not possible to open the windows shutter for light since the neighboring building is too close. No privacy. No light at all inside the room during daytime, specially in the evening. THE PLACE IS DEPRESSING. The breakfast is alright. Kitchen staff were great with food choices and assistance during breakfast time. Toilets in the basement not operational at times during our stay..

We were looking forward to staying at this property, given the good location. The hotel is right next to the Roma Termini and lots of good restaurants - the location is very convenient. However, the WiFi signal was almost non-existent during our stay and constantly disconnected. In addition, we were happy when the receptionist said they could accommodate our request for separate beds on our second night. Unfortunately, this request was never put into the system, although the receptionist reassured us this could be done. Our beds were not made to be separate on the next day, and when given an extra set of sheets, one had a blood stain on it. We really hoped to enjoy our stay, but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations.

They advertise air conditioning...however, they do NOT turn it on so you can use it. It was hot. The window screens were broken. The room was subpar for the money we spent to stay there. It wasnt very clean, mold in the bathroom, nasty substances on the bed headboard, including a full handprint...nasty , my wife wrapped her long hair up to sleep in the bed for fear of lice because the bedding looked clean, but the bed it was on was definitely not. The deadbolt didnt work. And...after 2 nights we discovered the cockroach that came in and out through the non working air vent...never stay here, ever again.

Since the first day our room smelled horrible, like vomit. We were very tired so we went to sleep. The next morning we noticed that there were 3 spots on the wall adjacent to the bathroom. By the late afternoon when we got back it was stronger. I have a feeling that was mold.

I liked this hotel for the convenience of having termini a block or two away, I had heard termini was a sketchy area and honestly it’s not and I was a female solo traveler so in terms of security it’s a good hotel, the staff was always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is simple but great to have something for the day I did see some coworkers in the dining area fight which made the environment a bit awkward but not my business, some dishes were dirty with dry old food when they were supposed to be clean, yes you can tell the hotel is old but it’s nothing bad specially since it was remodeled, I was not expecting to get my room cleaned every day as most hotels in Europe won’t but they did and it was another plus, but the only downside truly was that I could hear absolutely everything like literally everything which at times was uncomfortable and aggravating, but again that is probably in every hotel, and honestly I would stay there again as there are more good things than bad ones. Of course when booking a hotel you look for what you want and is convenient but if you are considering this hotel just do it because if you are like me, you will not even be there other than to sleep if you are a tourist and will have a busy schedule.

Conveniently located within 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini but if you like walking all attractions are within walking distance. Hotel staff very friendly and rooms sufficient and clean. Lovely buffet breakfast available to set you up for the day and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.

There's no one actually at the property for the check in or check out process which doesn't help when we get there early and want to check out bags. Was a bit of a walk from train station and a bit noisy. Maybe fireworks late at night ?! Pillows were awful. Otherwise it was decent for our stay and what we needed. The cafe for breakfast was good.

Hotel Milani is literally round the corner from Roma Terminii railway station - prefect location and very easy to find. Rooms are a little small, but clean and tidy and quiet.

Breakfast was efficient, self service style. Staff are there and clean and clear so the room is tidy and well kept. Food was good quality and ample.

We would use the hotel in the future if we needed to stay close to Terminii.

It was very disappointed. We booked the \"Superior\" double room but the hotel provided us with the \"Small\" double room!!! We asked to change the room right after we checked in. The staff said that was the room we booked and there were no more room that night. If we liked to change the room, we had to wait until the next day. We forced to stay in the Small room without the AC. The AC stayed still at twenty-seven degrees celsius, we were sweating Whole night. It doesn't make sense a twenty-three square meters room that small. We couldn't even open the luggage cause it would block the walk way. The next day, the hotel provided us with the Triple room. We were very disappointed when we walked in the room cause that was the \"Superior\" double room we booked! We would Not come back again to this hotel.

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the train station. It is walkable but you will walk thru some less than desirable areas. The room was adequate but not one we would spend any time in. It was dark, and had concrete(!) floors, no carpet. Breakfast was excellent. All in all, it served our purpose.

Great experience, easily walkable (3 minutes) from train station (Roma termini) and this train station also takes you to the airport. Metro station in same station and the staff was really helpful recommending where to go for visiting different areas of Rome. Our shower drain was clogged and that same day someone came to fix it. Breakfast was good as well and they kept our bags after checkout so we could explore Rome one last time before leaving.

The hotel is a lot older than the pictures. Rooms are very small. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. We had 3 rooms, and 2 had AC issues, one could not be fixed and had to be moved to a different hotel. Breakfast excellent 10/10. Very close to Termini.I have limited mobility and still needed to use steps despite having a lift as rooms on half floors.

Hotel Milani is conveniently located. It’s close to several attractions in Rome and the Termini Station. However, the hotel is outdated. You would prefer to stay at Moderno Hotel which is right next door and is more modern. When I arrived on the first night, the room was hot and set at 25 C we I could not control the AC in the room. I had to go down to reception. I asked the man working that night and he said he can’t put it lower than 23 C because of laws in Rome regarding AC and he said the police will fine them. The next day I went to reception and spoke with Valentine who put the AC down to 18 C without a problem. However, the room did cool down. I appreciated her efforts. Whenever someone says there is a restriction on AC in Rome, do not trust them.

Hotel room with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom for the 4 of us. Dark colors, laminate floors, poor lighting. It was a place to wash up and sleep as you are out and about enjoying Rome. Included breakfast was descent assortment of pastries, cheeses, fruit, coffee, eggs, bacon.

VERY disappointed in this hotel. I've never been in a prison cell, but this room is what I would imagine a prison cell to look like. Concrete floors, minimal/no decor, ratty curtains, teeny tiny shower (maybe 2x2), ratty towels, no soap or shampoo in the shower. The bed was clean and fairly comfortable - the ONLY good thing about this room:(

This hotel is very well situated near the main train station but with very few amenities. The breakfast was adequate with choices but I’m not a fan of powdered eggs. The room was very plain with cement floors and metal doors. The WI-FI worked most of the time but the electricity went out a couple of times. This hotel should have a 1 or 2 star rating. The beds and towels were comfortable but the pillows were a joke.

3* Hotel close to Roma-Termini train station

I had been at this hotel before in 2019. I liked it then and I liked it this time. Check-in was efficient and provided all necessary information for the stay. The hotel location is superb, within (walking) minutes of Roma-Termini, very important if you have an early flight out of Fiumicino airport. Rooms are comfortable and particularly good for the single traveler. But even two persons to a room is comfortable. Unfortunately, I never could avail myself of the breakfast since my flights always left very early.

Fine but quite noisy

Reception staff were very kind and helpful. The room was a bit cold feeling due to it not having carpeted floors - this also added to the sound travelling a lot in the hotel. You could hear other guests coming and got and I could hear to running water/toilet of my 'neighbours' quite well. This lead to me struggling to get to sleep due to people talking in the corridors etc. I think carpets or something to stop the sound travelling as well would be helpful. There isn't air con which was not so much of an issue in March when I visited but could be an issue in warmer months. My room did get quite warm on my last day and even having the windows wide open, I struggled to cool it to a more comfortable temperature. I found I was a decent walk from a lot of things (20-35 mins) which was fine but when I'd spent a day walking around and between various attractions (averaging 10-16 miles per day), that walk is worth taking into account. Based on the price and the experience I had regarding the noise, I probably wouldn't stay hear again. But I will say that every member of staff I had interactions with was very kind and helpful.

Good access from train station, staff was good as well.
Room was on kind of lower 1st floor, so i cant say direct access to lift was there. I used stairs all the time.
My room door was wobbly, seems someone had a rough use of that before.
AC turned off by itself every few minutes, that was big downside.
In Summay, it is an old hotel, with some renovations, but it lacks maintenance.

Loved the staff! Staff were super friendy and helpful. Lots of nice reataurants nearby and the staff reco of La Famiglia restaurant is a must! Exactly how I pictured a true Italian family restaurant. After that it goes downhill from there. Room was stifling with no individual AC. Explanation was that it was centrally controlled for everyone and they had it at 24C and wouldn't budge. Also the WiFi sucked. If you need to rely on WiFi don't stay here. Room was very dingy and depressing. If you want a fairly cheap price cloae to Termini station and not planning on being in the room much like us it does the job.

Good location but the property was very old but clean. The floors were cement so you could hear people above walking and talking the shower was good but you only got shampoo. The price was just okay for location
