Great safe and value hotel

This is a \"Travelers Hotel\" So it's perfect if you want an inexpensive, clean, low frills, safe, low key, room. It's about 200 meters from Rome Termini. So it's super convenient. Theres a Grocery store- in Termini, and just about anything you want. So this location is good for those seeking that type of travel. Breakfast is solid here. ( better than some I've seen ). But don't book this hotel looking for luxury-- and and top tier service--- that's not what it is..... It's a nice, clean, safe, low cost alternative to higher price hotels. That's what it is. Rooms are smaller-- but they are in many big city hotels.

There is always a sunny side of any stay.

Whilst the booking process was horrid, I had three rooms cancelled on me with no contact and at the last minute had to find new accommodation for 5 members of my group booking, the experience there was much more than I expected. The Front office staff, the ladies cleaning the rooms and the handy man were so very helpful it made up for the inconvenience of having a split group.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for; convenient location with a reasonable price for the area.

We stayed on the fourth floor. Fairly warm in the room with a slow, but functioning air conditioner. The room is small, as the hotel photos depict. Our sheets were clean and towels replaced daily. Washroom was small, but clean. Staff was friendly, from our limited interaction with them. Breakfast is simple and convenient. Wifi functioned well enough in our room to be able to utilize video chat.

Don’t expect perfection, but also do not expect to spend a fortune.

It is very close to the termini train station. There are restaurants nearby. The double bed it two twins pushed together, the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. The shower was a bit strange, no shower curtain and the tub was really high up.

Teeny tiny room

Ist, the room was tiny probably 8x8 - and it wasn't just our room. We saw several on our floor that appeared to be the same and the desk clerk said all rooms were the same. There was no dresser for clothes. But there was a hook in the hallway!
The bathroom was clean and modern but again there really wasn't any space to store toiletries and there was some mold on the shower tiles.
We stayed at this property for 3 nights, and for the 1st 2, the TV didn't work. On the 2nd day someone came to \"fix\" the tv and while it was obvious that the cable was frayed and needed to be replaced, the \"repair man\" had no tools or equipment of any kind with him. On the 3rd day the tv worked thanks to a new cable being installed.
The breakfast was a bright spot in our stay. A good assortment of fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses are offered along with 3 different juices, coffee and hot chocolate. No complaints there.
The location, 2 blocks from the train terminal was as expected and there were several nice restaurants in easy walking distance and there is a convenience store and a self service laundry across the street. My wife was concerned about people who were milling around the hotel but it seemed to be quiet after around 9pm.
Management was very responsive to our requests for extra towels, pillows and bath products

It deserves \"2 star\"

I assume the photos were taken 10-20 years ago. Definately not a 4-star hotel anymore, everything aged, rooms was smaller than image, could not open my 24\" suitcase on the floor. Twin bed packed together, one mattress OK and another one too-too soft that made my back sore. Lobby size is not bad but the big problem is wifi only available here (not in the room) in lobby where sofas are shabby with dirts and some seats are so hard just to prevent you sitting too long. The positive is location, just 200m from Rome Train Terminal and staffs are nice and helpful.

Ok but very outdated

I’m really not sure how this hotel can be considered 4 stars, it’s very outdated, my room was barred from any natural light coming through and there was only one outlet in the entire room which was in the bathroom. On top of this there is only weak WiFi in the lobby. The bed was not comfortable either. I just needed to stay over one night before my flight the next morning so I survived but I wouldn’t suggest it for an extended stay.

The room I received was a very small room. Literally a single bed, with very little room to put much. It was clean and just a place to sleep as I needed it for. I wouldn't stay here for a long period of time. Very conveniently place by the roma termini and other shops.

The hotel was in a great location, less than 5 minutes from Roma Termini. We only stayed the night and got the train early the next morning so we didn't get breakfast but it was a nice hotel. The only fault we had was that we paid a bit extra for a queen bed but unfortunately they were just 2 single beds pushed together and there was a gap in between which was a bit uncomfortable

Useful for one night.

Overall, the hotel was useful for staying over for a night while we waited to catch a train due to the proximity of the hotel to Roma Termini.
The rooms are definitely dated and in need of some TLC - rips in the curtains, wonky shower doors, stained U-bends - and the breakfast was so-and-so, what you'd expect from a 3* city hotel.
The receptionists were helpful enough.

Book BNB better than so call hotel.

It's really closed to Roma Termini, but the room is the smallest of all in the local area. You won't feel comfortable inside the room. I stayed there for 3 nights and never know how it looks outside the window since I couldn't open it.

I highly recommend this hotel Raeli Luge . The room is very small but perfect for me and my husband. Impecable !!!! From the entrance to the rooms . New automatic elevator ( not easy to find in Italy ) . All the staff is ready to help you , even was in my case my fourth time in Rome. We spend three days at Milan and we left our luggage without any Charge !!!!!!!!! You can make your check in even st night . The neighborhood is perfect , secure , lot of tourist and just one and a half block from
Termini Train Station. I recommended to stay at this Hotel , it’s an HOTEL , 7/24 front desk . No noise from
Outside , very safe , The unsafe place is at the other side of Termini . New Bathroom , small but so clean , we stayed at room 404 looking the street! Perfect not noise . Only Italian Tv channels but you won’t stay at the hotel just to sleep. Brilliant loby . Wi - fi only at the lobby . Thank you so much !!!!! Highly recommended

We didn't have high expectations for this hotel having booked purely because its next to the train station. But it was great! Staff helped us with advice about how to get to Stadio Olympico and messaged us via the app to confirm we could leave our bags. When we arrived at midday we were told the room was ready and we were welcome to check in.
Small but comfortable room and the breakfast we fantastic!

Good Location & Price, Clean with Classical Decor

Luce Roma, is a 4-star hotel, 3 minutes walk to Roma Termini Train and Bus station. Easy for dine-out and shopping. I got budget rate for 6- night stay.

It’s clean with classical decor for the median-size lobby and small one twin-bed room with private bathroom and hair dryer.

The optional breakfast serve cold meat, yogurt, and variable bakery, veggies and coffee/tea/juices.

I will stay again if visit Rome.

Close to Roma Termini (Rome train station). Nice lobby area with 24-hour front desk. We had to leave early (5:30 am) to catch our train and thought we would miss the breakfast (starts at 6 am), but the front desk prepared to-go bags for us! Wish they had WiFi in the rooms (only in the lobby). Room is ok, a bit old, but overall in fine conditions.

An OK Hotel in Roma Termini

Very convenient to Roma Termini, especially if you have to get to the airport very early in the morning. Everything in Rome is walking distance, so a hotel near train station is perfect because a lot of the buses and metro terminates or links to Roma Termini. This hotel is better than the other hotels i had stayed in around Roma Termini. Note that Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby.

hi my wife and I spent 2 weeks in the hotel luce in Rome,it is a small hotel with very limited facilities.wifi is available in the lobby but not in the rooms.
There is a distinct lack of wardrobe space in the rooms I had a look in some alternative room and they were the same.
The rooms are all the same size so I don,t know how they can offer 3 types of room.
The breakfast is definitely continental but spoiled by being the same every day and limited.
The rooms are kept clean with beding changed every day if required.
As for the staff I read in previous reviews to be insensitive and unhelpfull well I must disagree the staff could not do enough for my wife and I.
Over all I would say that a stay of 7 days would be my limit 2 weeks in relatively cramped accommodation is too long.
please review the alternative rooms offered.

Decent hotel close to Rome Termini

Accomidations are what to be expected for a budget hotel with close location to the Rome Termini. A quick 4 min walk. The biggest turnoff was the number of loiterers outside of the hotel. It was intimidating as a female travelling alone to have 10-15 men hanging out around the enterance and on the street. I was told they were all friends of another business owner on the street. I would stay here again but would recommend anyone staying here not plan to be walking back late at night.

We booked this hotel because it's a 5 min walk from the Termini Train Station - we just needed a place to stay for the night. The neighborhood its not appealing during the day; however transforms to a classy street in the evening. Overall, I don't have any complaints about this hotel except for the following:
1. Wifi is only available in the hotel lobby
2. AC is turned off between 12AM-6AM. This was killer since it was hot and humid when I visited and had difficulty sleeping because it was so warm.

The staff was nice and inviting. They also arranged for a driver to pick us up at 5AM to take us to the airport, which was nice.

I wasn't too impressed with this hotel. The room was really small and dark. The bed was of poor quality and uncomfortable. The room was stuffy. The breakfast was very limited and actually pretty bad. (Coffee from a machine, come on!) The only saving grace is that I got a room above the lobby so was able to get internet in my room which was a nice surprise, considering they said lobby was only available in the lobby. It was also quiet which surprised me considering it was in a busy neighborhood. The neighborhood around here is sketchy. Lots of questionnable characters hanging around on the street. Didn't feel real safe. I needed something close to the train station so that is why I selected this hotel. Would I stay here again? No. I think there's probably nicer hotels available for the same price. Front desk staff was fine, not overly friendly but not unfriendly either, so no real complaints there.

Hotel fica muito próximo da estação central Roma Termini, ideal para quem vai para outras cidades ou mesmo locomoção de tri de Roma pelo metrô.
O quarto era um pouco velho mas muito limpo, nada a reclamar.
aos funcionários da recepção muito simpáticos, solicitos, chegamos muito cedo no hotel, não dava para fazer check-in, porém conseguimos deixar a bagagem.
No geral hotel muito bom, fica muito bem perto de restaurantes e cafés.

Hôtel note 4 étoiles donc avec un minimum d’attentes à la clé.

Il fait une chaleur infernale dans les chambres en novembre et la Clim ne fonctionne pas.
L’une des plainte de la porte m’est tombée dessus.
Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas bon le pain est sec presque rassis.

C’est honteux pour un établissement comme celui ci. Je suis resté 2 jours et me suis plain le 2ème ce à quoi on m’a dit que c’était ma faute il fallait que je me plaigne plus tôt…

Molto comodo il materasso nonostante si percepisse l'età dell'oggetto. Era comodo anche il cuscino e il personale molto disponibile nel fornirmene un secondo. Buona anche la climatizzazione. Un po' vecchi i mobili e i rubinetti che seppur dimostravano un certo livello di usura riuscivano a fare bene il loro lavoro. Il posto è ottimo se si deve prendere il treno nelle primissime ore del mattino perché consente di alzarsi e trovarsi nella stazione Termini percorrendo meno di 200 metri. Tuttavia è scomodo per la sera perché non si tratta di una zona molto sicura.

Super location attaccata a Termini. Zona molto tranquilla e hotel silenzioso.
Buona il materasso.
Da rivedere secondo me la colazione (non solo mele come frutta) e la doccia.

Atención y limpieza excelente.
El desayuno no está incluido y no lo aclaraba cuando alquile. Sale 9€ por persona.
La habitación súper chica. La ducha también. En fotos parecía más grande todo.
