I recently stayed at the Fairmont and it completely lived up to it's reputation. The Senayan area is perfectly located for shopping and dining. I played golf at the course near by and it was a short walk to the course. Great hotel I will be back for sure.

Our stay was heavenly. The room is large, well-appointed, quiet, and front desk was friendly. All staff is friendly and helpful. We were lucky and had a view of the stadium where we happened to view a fireworks show. We really liked that we could walk to Plaza Senaya via an underground tunnel. We attended a concert at the tennis building and were able to walk from our hotel.

I highly recommend the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta. Its location is within walking distance of shopping malls and just a 15-minute walk to the Indonesia Arena. The staff is amazing and incredibly helpful. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, thanks to Ms. Ary and her team!

It’s very close to access to the stadium and Senayan city mall by walk. In Jakarta, traffic is so hard and crowd. It’s very convenient to get to the each place by walk.
The facility and room is good. On the other hand, the operation is not so good.. I had to wait 30mins to check in…

This is my second stay at The Fairmont and fortunately they've mantained their high quality of service. Our room was spacious and in excellent condition. The staff are warm and polite without being intrusive. Breakfast buffet has a vgood choice of local and international dishes. Just a tip tho, be patient at the reception desk. Some guests take a v long time to check-in or out. When they are busy you may wait awhile. Jakarta Fairmont is a luxury hotel in a nice neighborhood. Highly recommended.

This is my second time to stay at Fairmont Jakarta and, as usual, I was not disappointed. The rooms are big and drinking water is aplenty. The staff is courteous and polite.

The hotel is connected to the Plaza Senayan mall where shops and restaurants are many. Cross the street and Senayan City mall is another place with more shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed an extended stay at the Fairmont very recently to watch our son’s team compete at the ASEAN Football competition. Loved everything about the hotel. The premises were clean, food was excellent in all the outlets including room service and the staff, accommodating. Location was right across one of the stadiums used for the games. Will stay here again should I return to Jakarta.

Fairmont has its direct access to Plasa Senayan until 11:30PM, it makes us easier to get anything from food til clothes. The rooms were so cozy and with its view toward Golf-field in the opposite of the hotel. The Hotel staff were friendly in general.

Demanding room incidentals without investigating

The front desk has the audacity to email me and inform me after my check-out that one of the 5 rooms that were reserved in my name had expenses on the minibar when in fact, after their \"investigation\", there was a mistake on their part. This is totally not accceptable from a 5-star hotel. Furthermore, the email was copied to several internal parties initially, with no regard as to whether it will cause embarrassment to the guest. The hotel should seriously audit their processes and align their housekeeping/revenue functions to best practices of other reputable hotels. I am certain that they will lose me as a customer, not only for the room nights but rental of other function rooms for events in future. It might be a small mistake on the hotel's part but a big negative impression impacted on the guest. If this is how you treat your guests, then please be prepared to get ill word-of-mouth from guests in future. I mean ex-guests!

Location and skyline view, from sunrise to sunset covers the entire Jakarta DPR - Patliment , Sports stadium, Downtown and Financial areas is amazing.
The Staff in the Signature Gold/Sky lounges are exceptional, friendly and there to make ones stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

We always feel happy to be back to this hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Breakfast has many selections. This time our room was upgraded into suite, really appreciate it. Although our room was in the highfloor, we can still hear the noise from the street, car, motorcycle passing. But overall, it was a nice experience.

One of the best hotels in Jakarta

This ia one of our favorite hotels for a local staycation. The rooms are spacious and modern. The location is one of the best in Jakarta because of the underground tunnel connecting the hotel to Plaza Senayan. Although it lacks tennis courts, the large swimming pool is great for swimming laps and the kiddie pool is just perfect for our toddler. Highly recommended hotel!

One of the best that JKT has to offer. Service is impeccable. Requested for a hard pillow and got it delivered to my room within minutes. Hotel breakfast is a tad disappointing though. Soup noodles is too hard, and not much variety of porridge. Pool, gym and jacuzzi are amazing!

I stayed this hotel with my family. We have been in Jakarta more than three years. That is why we know about this hotel well, even though we have never stayed. The pool, gym is also very nice. In the room, the bed is excellent. the location is also very convinient, which is able to dilectly go to Plaza Sunayan shopping mall through underpass.

Water is also transparancy, which is rare in Indonesia.
I also recommend the roof top bar with nice view.

I didn't sleep well because the pillows smell very stale. Bed was comfy. As I checked in almost midnight, I just needed to sleep for morning event, so I only used two pillows that have no smell.

Taxi from hotel to airport supposed to accept credit card, my boss told the conceiege he didn't have enough cash but when we reached the airport, driver said we must be cash. I scrambled and managed to pay off. What if we don't have? So much hassle. The hotel staff should check again before sending us off.

Better the second time around

As you can see I loved this hotel so much we booked it again. Originally we stayed here for 5 days, we left for Bandung for an over night trip and came back to stay another 5 nights. FAIRMONT Jakarta is the place to be. It is a business hotel yet has the charm of a family hotel. We were upgraded to the club floor which was a treat. Baby and the other employees will spoil you like you won't believe.

Now the facts; huge room with all the amenities, soaking tub is right next to a rain head shower as well as hand held. Views overlooking pool, golf course or the city skyline. Pool as well as a kiddie pool and hot tub for adults. There is a fitness room as well as sauna. Your located next to plaza Senyan which has everything from laundry service to a movie theater. A food court and a grocery store. I've stayed at Mulia, Ritz Carlton as well as Shangri Law, they don't compare to the FAIRMONT.

First impressions are everything and this hotel has it all. From security checkpoint; which is thorough but not obtrusive to the check in were they offer a warm towel to wipe away the hot Jakarta traffic. The front desk is polite and eager to answer any questions you may have. We got an upgrade to the club floor which was outstanding. There were days that we just wanted to be lazy and relax and not go anywhere do the food on club floor fit the bill. Breakfast, tea with lite canapés as well as dinner with free beer wine or cocktails. The staff on club floor always remembered our names and when my wife and I were sick at different times they always pack something for us to take back to the other.

We were here for a total of 10 nights (5-5), got to meet Carlos the GM as well as Sean another manager. These two gentlemen are a definite asset to the FAIRMONT. On a side note theres underground access the Plaza Senyan which is a huge mall with a food court, theaters and grocery store. This is by far the best hotel in Jakarta, I've stayed at Hyatt, Pullman, Ritz Carlton and Marriott and these places don't even come close to service and standards. Thank you to the entire staff at FAIRMONT Jakarta from the Joneses.

Very spacious rooms and bath. Spectrum breakfast buffet is quite high quality as hotel food goes. Impressed almost always greeted by first name by hotel staff. But the big secret is heading up to the K-22 lounge on the top floor late night: open air evening breezes, evening skyline view and end of day drinks or after dinner snacks. Incredible way to end your day. One of the best!

Feel like home!

Excellent hotel location! Service was great as the receptionist knows how to handle customers' expectation. We asked the concierge to arrange for a taxi to take us to Bogor and he even ensure that the taxi took us back to the hotel! The hotel was well designed and connected to the Senayan Plaza shopping mall which make it convenient for us to just walk over instead of being stuck in traffic jam. Perfect location if you need to get on the highway too.

Brand new hotel, room service was excellent, tried their chicken tikka masala which was pretty good. Decent room size. Is right next to a mall with plenty of eating options. Only downside is that it's a little far from the center of action, that being said I would stay here again.
