Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Sunbreeze Hotel. The property is beautiful, well-located, and the staff was consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and truly made us feel valued as guests.

That said, there were a few significant issues that impacted our experience. Noise control after hours was a concern, as there was frequent loud activity near the rooms and doors at all hours of the night. Every night.
Additionally, the pool chair situation needs better management—chairs were being reserved early in the morning with towels left there for 6+ hours unused for much of the day, making it difficult for other guests to enjoy the pool area.

With some improvements in noise enforcement and pool chair/outdoor policies, this would be an exceptional place to stay. Despite these concerns, we appreciated the hospitality of the staff greatly and enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Although the hotel doesn't look like much as you enter from the street, once in the door it is beautiful!! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant serves meals all day and the food is great and the staff excellent. The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean. The front desk will help with any reservations (cart rental, dinner reservations, air shuttle reservations, water sports) you need. Overall it was a great hotel to book in San Pedro!!

Amazing place. Our rooms were super clean, the pool is a nice temperature and the location of the hotel is so convenient. It's so close to the ferry station, the airport and some truly amazing restaurants. Everyone from the staff was so helpful, welcoming and always ready to answer any of the questions we had. Even though it's close to everything the territory has this relaxing vibe like you're away from it all. Highly recommend!

Room and the whole place was clean. Staffs were very nice, easy access to the other restaurants, groceries and gift shops. One thing I was disappointed which is the same with the other hotels …no access to the beach to swim. You have to rent a golf cart to go to the Secret Beach w/c was another experience, but it’s worth it…it was beautiful

I thought my stay at the Sunbreeze was in good. The rooms were clean and the staff was accommodating. It is located walking distance from many restaurants and town including a restaurant / bar on the premises. I didn’t have any complaints and was fair for the cost if you don’t want to pay extra for a luxury resort feel and what comes with that. I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5… All the basics were fine

The property was a convenient walk from the airstrip and located in the heart of San Pedro right by tons of restaurants and shopping. Staff was very kind and accommodating. The reason I leave a 3 star was for a few reasons. The beach was not what we had expected. Being marketed as a beach front property I was given the impression I would be able to swim and enter the water right from the resort however that is not the case here. There was a “beach” of sorts but up on a concrete wall where it meets the water giving pretty poor access to the water. In addition the door on our room (104) had a rather large gap in it which allowed someone to see in if they tried. Thankfully being in the off season it was not crowded and you would have to know it was there to even make an attempt to look in.

This was my first trip to San Pedro, and my first solo trip as a female traveler. It was perfect. This spot was very walkable to town, to all the restaurants, and the club that was right next door. The staff is amazing here, so friendly and accommodating. In fact, everyone in Belize is! The room was perfect, it’s nothing fancy but also not low budget either. But I barely even spent time at my hotel, so that’s why I wanted to pick something walkable. They have a great pool, and a restaurant/bar at the hotel, which is a great spot!! The price point on this spot is perfect.

The Hotel was ok, issues with the TV's. The bar/restaurant attached to the property is owned by someone else. The staff had an attitudeand was sometimes rude, the alcoholic drinks felt very light or diluted! You know there is a problem when you get a little buzz after a 2 IPA's and nothing at all after 5 vodka soda or more.

The property location and the lay staff were AMAZING and very nice. However, the management was awful. From the moment you check-in they make you feel like a criminal. You have to sign a document just to get your room key---AND a TV remote control; and a beach towel. They insist on entering your room at least EVERY two days to inspect to see if you have damaged or stolen anything. You can't get a fresh bath towel unless you exchange it for a used one. They actually count the towels in your room---The rooms come with 4 bath towels; 2 hand towels and 2 face towels. AND if for some reason the person who services your room forgets to leave you those number of towels---then they accuse YOU of stealing them. It's such a shame that a decent property in a very good location with nice amenities and a wonderful lay staff has to have a management team that acts like a prison warden. They make you feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that I'm sad to say I won't be back.

This was our first time to Belize and wasn't sure what to expect. The location is right across the street from the airport, so although very convenient, it was quite loud at times with planes taking off/landing often, but I would say wouldn't be a showstopper for me.

I can't say enough about the staff. They are the most pleasant and helpful staff.

I will admit, being an American I'm spoiled by ice water...and to my surprise, they had an ice maker always stocked with ice. It was one of those open 'scoop' ice makers that always make me a little nervous, but I trusted it and everything was quite fine. They also have filtered water in the room and in the lobby so I was NEVER without my ice water. It seems silly but was very important to me.

The food was good/ok. Italian night was very good. I would recommend the pizza for sure.

They held our luggage for us. The only thing I wish they had was discounted gold carts or transportation options. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.

I will srart with the bad, on about day 4 of our stay we had a wierd leak from near the toilet that the crew immediately investited and fixed, but the floor remained wet from a very light leak from somewhere. Was so insignificant we didnt even report it the 2nd time. Everything else was perfect. There is a restaurant that is prettu much attacjed, right on the neach, walking distance to everything in San Pedro, and we never found it challenging to find parking for our golf cart. The airport is literally across the street, im talking 10-15 strps from the front door. However, even with that, very quiet very relaxxing and the staff will help you locate and arrange anything the Beautiful Country of Belize has to offer. Stay here, best quality for the cost, trust me... i compared and even after seeing the more expensive spots... we were not missing out. Plus you can go to any resort to eat at their restaurants or enjoy thier amenities for a fee; but we never needed to. Go and enjoy.

Recently returned from Belize and will report that I had a very enjoyable stay at the Sunbreeze Hotel.. Room was clean and ice cold... Staff was friendly and available... Extra bonus for the Blue Water Grill, which had great food, great drinks and a wonderful view. Just remember, if you want to get around Belize, it's best to rent a golf cart. I would return and recommend to others.

We stayed for 4 days at Sunbreeze and we really enjoyed the time we spent at San Pedro. It was super close to the small airport where we came from Belize City right across the street. They have food options and bar at the beach and swimming pool area. the only problem that we could not have direct access to the beach because of the sargasso. Great Staff, Ryan was the best!!!

Sunbreeze was great. Wish they had area for drying/hanging dive equipment since the shop didn’t have lockers.
Blue waters restaurant/bar was fantastic appetizer and dinner.
They do however advertise as deluxe double beds, which doesn’t mean you’ll get it without advance communication. Lucky they had another room available, after proof of booking and negotiations. They tired to offer an upgrade room at a much higher rate. Thank goodness I had all documentation.

Well located near all that you’d want in San Pedro. Supremely walkable.

The main issues we had was some staff making lots of noise in the morning.

The best example was the staff with his walkie talkie squawking and clicking loudly around 8am as he dragged chairs across the outside hallway. This was right outside our room and there was no effort to be quiet.

Also there two dirty plates sitting on the stairs up towards the roof which we passed for 2 days until they were finally removed.

The friendliest employees were the bartenders and servers, by far. We enjoyed our time in the restaurant and bar.

In sum, great location but not as welcoming or relaxing in the mornings.

The property is just average. It is easily accessible from the airport which is right across the street. Best attribute.
My room had a leak on the toilet which allowed sewage from under the toilet seal to the floor to leak out to the vanity area. It was repaired in one day. Internet was spotty and limited to two devices per room. No coffee makers in rooms. Pool area is just okay nothing great. The restaurant with the hotel is a little above average. A ceiling fan fell on a woman and man during our one dinner there sushi night. They were injured.
Smokers have only one small area in the courtyard outside to smoke.

San Pedro Belize is so overrated. Beach is pretty nonexistent ( it’s a Bay for scuba divers) as it is crowded with pier after pier of run-down scuba tour outfits. Town is walkable. Everything is imported to Belize so everything is expensive restaurants, and all the souvenir junk shops. Crowed with carts . Sunbreeze hotel was Overall expensive for the quality of the accommodation. Sunbreeze restaurant ( blue water grill ) I Don’t recommend , I ordered Conch Fritters and got burnt flour fritters with NO Conch. The rest of my stay I ate at “ El Fogón restaurant “ which I highly recommend. I have to say Sunbreeze hotel staff were nice.

I lived the location, room, pool, view, restaurant/bar and staff. Ryan was so very helpful and deserves a concierge title and a raise! He helped with several situations including helping me find an internet cafe when my laptop died with a deadline approaching for grad school. The office staff was also helpful in dealing with an expedia issue.
The only thing that would make the visit perfect would be access to the beach. Maybe a shuttle to another beach can be offered since the wall is needed.

Nice room, nice property. I met a lady whit while I was in San Pedro and we wanted to go back to my room but we’re scolded by the security guard who was extremely rude, and told me since she wasn’t registered at the time of check-in, she wasn’t allowed on the property and there was no way to add her as a guest to my room. I’ve never stayed somewhere where this was an issue. The security guard was extremely rude, idk what his name was but it completely ruined my experience at Sunbreeze Hotel. For this reason alone, I will never stay at Sunbreeze ever again. Also, was charged over $66 for a very small load of laundry. Very disappointed.

Sunbreeze was nicer than most all inclusives I've been to - it was beautiful, spotless, and located in the perfect spot. I was worried that being across the street from the airport would be a problem but it wasn't an issue - it was quiet all the time, and so convenient to literally walk across the street upon arrival and departure. The food at the on site restaurant was top notch. The staff were so attentive to our needs and to the property in general. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Belize - it was perfection!

The hotel is in a great location and within minutes to many restaurants, airport, etc. It was clean, fairly comfortable and has a nice restaurant on property. The staff was also very friendly and made great recommendations for local places to enjoy local food.

The building is a bit older and is starting to show its age hence some renovations are needed. For example updating the bedroom furniture and the lobby entrance would make a huge difference.
