Wifi cutting out. Management not flexible on changing booking and only interested in grabbing as much money as possible. Very slow lifts and long waits - took 20 mins to get from room to breakfast area. Long queues at checkout. Free wifi at lobby limited to 15 mins. False advise given by checkout lady. Local people also advised me that this is not a good place to stay. I know for next time!

This hotel is located inside a small mall. Next to GBK. Reception area is small but room is good size, clean. All staff are polite, friendly. I was delighted to see welcome fruits platter and small treat almost every day makes me smile. It's facing busy road so traffic noise is slightly annoying.
Hotel swimming pool is clean and quiet. As I said it's inside the mall, so shopping and eateries and literally steps away. Highly recommended.

Strategic location, i find it easier to get food to eat or to shop. The room was ok not as good as i expected but the view was breathtaking. Especially at night, where i could see the stadium and also the madness of the traffic in Jakarta.
The staff of the hotel were friendly and very helpful. They were welcoming and always there to help. The breakfast was good too, not too much of varieties but still good. I hope that the hotel could maintain the same conditions and qualities of the hotel for many years to come.

Staying at Harris Hotel for 4 night, I enjoyed stayed at Harris Hotel, even though can be very noisy, due the hotel is right on the side of main road, the sound of the motorbike is drive me mad, they can be so loud, particularly after midnight. The hotels is in the shopping centre building, which is very convenient, there are plenty nice restaurants, shops, cafe, and supermarket.
The staff are very friendly, big credit to the housekeeping team who are kept ( service) the room, neat and tidy every day. Oh the views from the room breathtaking.

I was upgrading my room to family suite. The room is so spacious. With two bedrooms and one huge bathroom, that was perfect for four of us! We are very happy with the room. The only down side is they only gave us two coffee cups. I think for family suite at least we should get 4 cups. Also the water faucet in the kitchenette was leaking which is not really a big deal but I hate to see the water get wasted. All and all it’s a nice room.

Harris Suites is located above the very convenient shopping centre with a very nice view, however, I had to share the (only 2) lifts with residents who live in the unit below the hotel.
It was hard to get to the Ground floor from the highest floor room.

Convenient with nice staffs

The hotel was super convenient located in the mall. I stayed there for almost 2 weeks. Easy access to get some foods and easy to go anywhere in the city.
Staffs were super nice, friendly and helpful.
The hotel needs to fix the water shower. It turned cold and hot during shower on its own. Overall iam very satisfied with my stay.

Harris Suites is best for business travelers. It’s strategically located and other nearby malls are within 10-15 minute walk. fX Sudirman is multipurpose and has many restaurants also so one does not really have to go out to eat. My only concern is that Harris Suites should change its towels - they are worn out already.

Harris Suites is located inside the fX Mall. Although a lot of restaurants inside the mall have closed shop, Plaza Senayan and Senayan City Mall are within walking distance. Harris Suites must replace their towels - they are frayed, worn out and do not look white.

I think hotels.com platform ain't communicating well with the hotel.. I cancelled the hotel once and the hotel did not know about it.. luckily they are kind enough to not charge me. Next, I requested for non-smoking room but was given smoking room. Front desk was fast to change my room the next day. Breakfast can be better if I know how to assemble the local dishes. Front desk was friendly, I appreciate their in person service. Location was good for people visiting the convention center. Cleanliness can be improved. Lower levels seems to be cleaner than higher floors.

Management failed to train its staff !!

The hotel made efforts to email asking for pre-arrival preferences which I gladly replied requesting for two rooms with queen bed on same floor at higher level on quiet location. A simple thing I thought, but front desk put one room on 45th and second on 15th next to elevator.
What don't they understand or am I not communicated properly? Go figure.
I must say they did rectified it and moved the second room to 45th floor after several follow up calls and email to Hotel.com on check in experience.

The location is good for my trip purpose and availability of restaurants at the building.

Room is clean, but linens are old and worn especially towels. Very basic stuff provided, hotel don't have rack for luggage.

Hotel in mall, convenient for shopping & food

Property is located within a mall. Very convenient for food and shopping, although the mall doesn't open until at least 10am. The room I was provided had a loose shower head, which broke apart with even the slightest attempt to move it. Air conditioning in the room (1211) was also faulty, and it only managed to get cold in the evening when the sun is down. The hotel restaurant is located in the mall \"outside\" the hotel, so you have to exit the hotel and take the mall lift to the 5th floor. Although food selection is not fantastic, the service in the restaurant is very welcoming - I like! Room amenities are replenished daily. Sufficient power point for business folks' devices but the chair is not so comfortable. WIFI speed is acceptable but at times (evening/night) it is very slow.

Check in was fast. Room is nothing to rave about, but it was big enough to be comfortable. Amenities are replaced daily. Only 1 towel is provided though. 2 small bottles of water are provided and additional are chargeable. Well stocked bar fridge but more economical to get from supermarket in the mall downstairs. Breakfast is served on 5th level inside the mall, which means you have to exit the \"hotel\" and proceed to the mall lift to get to the 5th level cafe. A little weird but you get used to it after a while. WIFI was not fantastic. At times the speed is acceptable, other times it's rather slow.

I was there for 2 nights attending a friend wedding in Jakarta. My first time visiting the city and to stay at this lovely hotel is indeed a good experience for me. Friendly staff. Shopping mall is in the same building. I feel safe. Clean and spacious room. Wifi connection is good but can be better.. Overall its a good stay for me. Definitely will come back again.

Great views, price, and service, large rooms.

As others noted the hotel is conveniently located on top of a modern shopping mall with cab stand outside to take you around the city. The room I had was large and on the 45th floor with great views through floor to ceiling windows, comfortable bed with multiple pillows, free bottled water everyday, modern finishings, good room service and friendly staff at the front desk. The hotel is well priced and not the Ritz Carlton, keep this in mind and you will enjoy your stay.

Not including breakfast because the hotel is in the mall, I can understand, but this makes the hotel more expensive compared to other budget hotel with spread buffet breakfast. It would be OK for those business travelers who run-out-of time in the morning.

First time staying at a Harris hotel. Check-in was fast & reception staff were friendly. Requested for a high floor & was given 45th floor which offered an excellent view of the surrounding areas. Room was comfortable, clean. Location was good, 10min taxi ride to plaza senayan & it was easy to get a taxi each time. There is no room service but you can get a good selection of food in the adjacent shopping mall, including a Ya Kun outlet! Definitely a value-for-money hotel.

This is NOT a hotel

Don't be mistaken - this is NOT a hotel! There is no lobby, only a front desk. I am fortunate to have been the only one checking in. If there was a group before me, there would be no place to wait - there is a small seating area occupied by what I can see are non-guests. The check in was smooth.

When I entered the room, the first thing that hit me was a noisy aircon. Engineering came to fix the noise, but the blower sound remained. Room was of a standard size but spartan. I cannot say that they made a lot of effort to create a \"homey\" feel.

Called front desk for paracetamol as I was in pain at 6am and they told me that they ran out of it. Could only get it by 8am. Come 8am, no paracetamol, and I had to leave for my meeting in pain. Bought it along the way to my meeting.

There are other properties that charge this price and if customer experience is not high on your list, but location is, then this is one for you. But if you were expecting a hotel, and you come here, you would be sorely disappointed, as I was.

Good location with surrounding business and shopping center.
The hotel staff are friendly, room were clean.
There's no air conditioner in the lift and also in the bathroom.

clean cheerful not frills hotel

I chose the hotel because it was walking distance to a conference venue. I liked the fresh new look of the rooms, their cleanliness and very friendly reception staff. Two levels of shops aslo provided everything I needed. It included coffee shops, restaurants, chemist and supermarket. I suited me that there was no breakfast and I got a few small things from the supermarket. I felt very safe as a female single traveller.
There were a few issues during my stay:
I am not sure what the reason was but there was always quite a wait for the lifts. I was on level 9 and every morning there seem to be some hammering that started before 6 am on some level below mine which was loud enough to wake me up. The third point was that even though the air con was set on 18 degrees, it did not seem to be able to cool the room sufficiently. I heard this from another guest as well.

Very close to Istora Senayan.

Check-in and check-out process are expeditious.
The staff were very friendly and allowed me to check-in on my arrival at 10am.
On the day of check-out, they even allowed me to use the gym's shower facilities and towel as the swimming pool is not available. And, the bathroom is very clean.

Finding the hotel entrance was a bit of a problem as it's in a shopping centre and I was dropped off at the wrong entrance. Check in was easy, the room was clean and had a nice layout. The only problem I had with the room was the fact that there was a nightclub under my room and it didn't finish till 4 am.
I spoke to reception the next morning and they changed rooms for me . They were extremely helpful.
The pool was being renovated at the time but there is plenty of other things to do with cinemas, restaurants and shops all in the one building.
There is no room service but it wasn't a problem. There is a small fridge in the room which is stocked with drinks and snacks.

Good things first - windows give you quite a nice view of buildings, room is spacious, nice orange aromatic essential oil, generally clean, soundproof, connected to a mall so convenient that way if you want food easily but the mall wasn't exciting anyway.

Not so good - toilet had ants and room given was a smoking room even though I had requested for a non-smoking room and my clothes smelled of cigarettes after my stay here. Swimming pool was also closed during my stay here and hotel doesn't provide breakfast with the room.

Generally not the most pleased with my stay here because first, I was given a smoking room and second, I was given 12th floor when I had asked for high levels (there are more than 40 levels here). I wonder if the hotel was actually fully booked or they just decided to open up some rooms or levels only. I did not enjoy having my clothes smelling of cigarette smoke at all and the thought of inhaling cigarette smoke during my two nights here.

The hotel is in a nice location but it doesn't have a entrance of its own. its through the mall and was hard to find as the taxi guy dropped me of at the lower entrance.

The lobby is small and there is no on to help with your bags. The staff are friendly though and nice.

The rooms are nice and clean. The rooms u get are normally on floors 40 plus so the views are really nice..

The hotel is placed pretty close everything is close by but traffic has to be factored in..

Overall very good hotel and value for money..

Tap water has the murky taste , unchlorinated and unhealthy . Even the shower left me in disgust .I use the inroom 1 liter drinking water to brush my teeth n rinse my mouth eventually .

this is my 2nd time staying in FX Suite Harris Sudirman, the place is strategic, located above the most entertaining mall in Jakarta, i think this is a plus point, especially when i took my children there, they could go downstairs to play at the mall (Giggle). Love the cleanliness, anyway i've stayed on 47 floor yesterday, and the wi-fi was not good at all, i dont know why, but please do make it better, since wi-fi is most common need nowadays.

Hotel was located in prime location with access to everything. Taxi was easily available only that the traffic was bad. Service staff was polite and helpful just that we waited quite long for an ironboard to arrive, understand that its high volume of guests at that point in time. I booked a room online from small town in Java, try to get print out confirmation from warnet but unable due to lack of print facility.. when I contacted the hotel by phone to see if they receive my booking, the staff/receptionist was friendly and helpful.
On arrival to the hotel, the staff was cheerful and no fuss attitude. service was very good. location excellent and room was clean,Value for money.
Will stay again for sure.

modern hotel with great location

located within a mall so easy access to shopping and food. nice enough place to stay in but the elevators are super slow (the building is around 50 stories tall) and the buttons are independently controlled. so many people always press all the buttons for all the elevators because you dont know which one will arrive faster. then on top of the slow moving elevators are these stops on different floors where people pressed the stop button and took a different elevator... to top it off, the staff is always using these elevators which makes it even slower... very annoying when you're in a hurry.

Close to a few shopping sites such as Senayan Mall, Metro and an IT Mall. Its just next door to the Senayan Stadium where major matches are held but can a problem if you are caught in the ensuing traffic jam. Overall it has a nice, clean surrounding.

Great location, very good room and great staff

Arrived and asked for a high/quiet room - got a corner unit on 46th floor that was pretty large and very pleasing style (modern/bright). Good bathroom with rainfall shower. A bit of noise still from the busy road so next time will go on the other side.
Check in staff (Santi) couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant, in fact all staff were great.
On top of a fair size mall with plenty of eateries.
Highly recommended

Great hotel

Hotel was in main jakarta with many shopping centers surrounding it. I managed to get the top 47th floor with magnificent view of the city itself. Staff was friendly and welcoming and would always attend to my needs at the greatest availability. Overall was a satisfying stay and would definitely come back again.

We were on the 46th floor with magnificent views

We were on the 46th floor with magnificent views from our front and side windows. The room was excellent and very clean. The shower was massive and although Harris fx does not .have a restaurant there are plenty of eating places on the ground floor as the hotel adjoins a shopping centre. It was good to just look down and watch the traffic as it was always full of motor bikes by the thousands. In all a very central place that is modern, cheap and very central to Jakarta city. We will certainly stay there again if in Jakarta. Brian and Pauline Adelaide South Australia

Lovely and nice place

Nice view, trendy and very clean. Just it is not close to local market, so we didn't try local food that much. But it is very convenience since it is in the department store, there is supermarket and restaurants. Staffs are very friendly.

Great hotel located in a shopping mall and next to lots of corporate offices. Wifi was spotty and unreliable for a business traveler.
