Had a great stay at Casa Villa Gardenia for two nights! The location is super convenient. Just a 2-minute walk to the train station and bus stop, and I can get to Venice Island in about 20 minutes, so it’s perfect if you want easy access to the city but stay somewhere a bit quieter.

The host was amazing. We had really nice conversations and he shared tons of local tips e.g restaurants, activities, must-go spots, and cultural stuff. Felt more like getting advice from a friend than staying at a rental.

Overall, really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back one day! Highly recommend 👍

Our room at Casa Villa Gardenia was clean and quiet. The breakfast offered in the morning was good with a variety of options. There is a coffee machine that is capable of making multiple types of good coffee variations. The parking lot for the hotel was also secure with a gate surrounding the entire hotel area. The hotel was a great stay and conveniently located next to the Durando bus stop (line 6) to make the trip to main island of Venezia.

This property in Mestre is very close to the train station and you are one stop to Santa Lucia station on the Grand Canal of Venice.
If you are traveling by car, the property offers gated parking( a great find) and nice rooms with a good breakfast included daily.
Some staff do not speak much English so be prepared to use your google translate😉 but we have stayed there on two different trips and would recommend this property.

The property itself is nice and the staff are very helpful. It’s just in a terrible area that seems very unsafe, broken down, old. It’s very near the train so that makes it perfect. Otherwise, I would never go into that area-it seems scary.

This is an old house converted into a 6-room bed and breakfast. Its main attraction is that it is close to Venice.
The staff was helpful, the property as described. I have no complaints.
There is a bus stop across from the house where you can take Bus 6 or 6L to Venice. But be advised, the busses are overcrowded. There isn’t a better way to get to town that we found.

The property was lively and comfortable and just a short walk to the train station for Venice one stop away. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
We were offered cappuccino on arrival and the room had a small refrigerator stocked with drinks and an electric kettle with coffees and teas.
There is no air conditioning but in early June,it was comfortable. Complimentary parking in a secure gate is included at no cost- a big plus for this area!!
We were able to leave our car and luggage for our day of check out to enjoy a bit more of Venice.

The Villa is an excellent location for touring Venice. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station for the short ride to Central Station/Santa Lucia. The room is very nice and the staff is excellent. Parking is available - and free- right on the property. Highly recommended>

We stayed at this property for one night before and one night after our cruise. It is somewhat isolated but don't let the location fool you. The staff and the accommodations were great. This property is an intimate, BnB type place. The owner was friendly and informative. The daily breakfast options were very good. The train station is a couple of blocks away from the property and it was less than 15 min to Venice. Highly recommend.

The hotel is now in a different condition to the pictures.
We felt the area was a bit unsafe to walk around, and the restaurants nearby were not the best.
The hotel staff were excellent and the room was clean.
The wifi was very hit and miss.
The location to the train station that takes you into Venice was about a 10 minute walk using the underpass, again dirty and felt unsafe.
Would we stay there again, probably not.

Ótimo custo benefício em Veneza

Valentina e Maine nos receberam muito bem e nos deram dicas valiosas do que fazer em Veneza. O quarto é bem espaçoso assim como o banheiro. Com as janelas fechadas quase não se houve barulho da rua e a casa toda cheira a flores na primavera. O café da manhã é bem servido, com várias opções de frutas, doces e salgados. O chão é de madeira e faz um pouco de ruído quando alguém chega, mas são poucos quartos por isso não incomoda tanto. Ele nos deram uma cópia da chave da casa e do quarto, por isso tinha liberdade de chegar e sair a hora que quiséssemos.
