Convenient enough but details let it down

The hotel is conveniently located, in a quiet area of Marghera - 5 mn walk away from the bus stop that takes you to Venice in 15mn.
Personel was very friendly and keen to give tips on where to take buses, what to visit etc...
The room is big enough but due to a few details we somewhat left the hotel feeling a bit disappointed.
The communal areas and probably a few rooms have recently been refurbished but be aware that it is not the case for all rooms.
In the bathroom, the hair dryer dates back from a couple of decades ago and was broken. Desite reporting the issue nothing was done to either replace it or give me a spare one to use.
No shower gel was provided after the first day (please note that no shampoo was provided at all) and the receptionist was not able to give us an extra one, just soap.
We are not on holiday to watch TV, but it's worth mentioning that it is the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room.
But worst of all was the WiFi signal. We chose hotel based on this particular amenity and the signal was TERRIBLE. It worked for 2 minutes before dropping off. once again when we ask reception about it we were told that \"It does work, no one else complained.\"This is not good enough.
Free wifi for ALL rooms is included in the room Amenities on the hotel description page. This is incorrect.
So VERY VERY limited wifi - very limited toiletries and a broken hair dryer.
Compared to other hotels, the price is cheap but at 70 euros/night I still feel we paid too much.

Nice Hotel to Save Money visiting Venice

There are some buses nearby which go to the Venice Island but details on them are a bit sparse, and we couldn't figure out how to pay (though we did take the bus once). Your other option is to go back to the train station and pay E1.25 for a ticket to Venice proper (one station down and about a 15 minute walk from the hotel). If you take train in, make sure to get off at the Venezia Mestre station so you don't have to pay to come back the other way. It was almost like the hotel changed management one night into our stay (they turned on the A/C and changed our room key), but the stay was overall nice.

Pleasant hotel in great location

Hotel was very clean and we felt very safe staying there. The hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the mestre train station, which has trains leaving to venice every 10 minutes or so. Also, the hotel is about a 25 minute walk away from the Nave De Vero shopping centre which which has all sorts of shops and a supermarket. We were surprised by how nice the hotel was considering it was only 3*. Staff were pleasant, everything was extremely clean, the only negative about our stay was that the wifi didn't work in our room :( Would definitely come here again if we came to venice again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere not to expensive!

My friend and i booked a last minute stay here for two nights. With this in mind our expectations were really low. The staff was friendly and although they lhhave us incorrect directions to a restaurant (although we may have just gotten lost) we were able to find the restaurant. Furthermore what we didn't account for was the hotel was a 20 minute ride away from where we wanted to go: Venice. It took us longer to find the hotel so in advance always check the location sounds obvious, but it's easy to get lost if you don't speak italian. Also we had a broken shower head holder in our room, and the bathroom floor had little deliniation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, but being the teenagers we are we were just glad to have an air conditioned, affordable room relatively close to Venice. If you don't mind making the trip back and forth, or the low possibility (im assuming) of a broken shower head holder. We do recommend this room. It was comfortable and we were able to spend some wonderful days on Venice and at the end of the day coming to a ready made bed with optional breakfast in the morning was what we wanted.

Cruising from Venice

Booked this Hotel prior, for our Cruise from Venice, Ideal location, Going on a Cruise requires
Luggage. Even a Carry-on bag and 1 suitcase to traverse the bridges in Venice not a good idea,
Arrived at Marco Polo Airport twas raining Kats and Dogs, via taxi to Hotel only encountered rain drops for 3 meters leaving the Taxi. Transfer to the Cruise Ship Terminal in Venice was a expedient breeze from this Hotel.

Good quiet hotel, problems only individual.

When I first got there, my room had about seven or eight Mosquitos in. Not sure why, didn't question with staff. Once they died, didnt return, can only assume I had a room that had windows open for a few days. But of a shame for the first night but wasn't a problem afterwards. Wifi didn't work for me the first night or day. Asked the desk, man was reluctant to help, blamed it on my phone and \"firewalls\" despite being able to connect to all others fine previously. Finally worked because a thunderstorm reset the router which allowed it to finally connect. That was a shame that the staff was slightly reluctant.

The room was spacious, lovely, clean bathroom. The bed was very comfy, the location was fantastic. The aid to reach Venice was great.

If I had not had Mosquitos or releuctance for help with the wifi, the hotel would have been near perfect.

The Exception to 'You Get What You Pay For'

Wasn't expecting much as the other budget accommodation we stayed at was just that, budget. Arrived around 11pm after a long touristy day and we were both pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the hotel was. Even the normaly fussy girlfriemd was impressed!
Breakfast was decent with croissants, chocolate, coffee, cereal and juice.
Great shower, comfy bed (only complaint being it was 2 singles pushed together), excellent service and disappointed we couldn't stay another night.
It's about a 10min walk to the No.6 bus that takes you directly to Venice.

Clean and quiet hotel

It was a bit difficult to find from the map and somewhat longer walk than it was suggested. I would definitely suggest to take a cab from the train station. The hotel is located in the middle of very quiet neighborhood and maintained very well. Nice and clean room although not that big in American standard. Breakfast was excellent and the staffs were very kind and courteous. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Big Gamble-May be very good or absolutely terrible

I had booked our room 3 weeks in advance and secured using a credit card. We got to the hotel late in the evening. They told us that our booking had been cancelled (later I found out because we had arrived late, they had sold our room to someone else). They gave us a room with a single bed for 2 people. The bed was hardly wide enough for one person much less 2 people. Aside from that, it was the dirtiest room I have seen in my life. My wife spent the night on the couch in the hotel lobby and I tried to sleep on the bed with jeans and a long sleeve shirt. It was horrible! The next day after complaining to the hotel management, they moved us to a \"renovated room\". It was a very nice room, comparable to a 4-star hotel. Unless you can guarantee a renovated room, I would not risk it. Location is convenient for getting to Venice using a bus.

tucked away in quiet neighborhood but easy access

room was really small but overall clean. hotel staff very professional and helpful. location is really not bad there's bus stop 5 min away that can get you straight to Venice in roughly 20 min. bus tickets are sold in a nearby booth which doesn't open all hours of the day, so best bet is get there 9 to 12 in the morning

Good Hotel

It's 1 km from Mestre railway station. If you want to go to Venice, you have to take a 5 minute walk to take the bus that goes to Venice. I personally loved the comfort of the bed.

Quiet hotel close to Venice

Nice area; employees all spoke English; room very clean and comfortable with balcony and bathroom. Bathroom was small and basic but clean. Got a complimentary streen map of Venice and receptionist explained best buses to get to Venice. Also, 2-ride electrical bus ticket available for purchase at the reception. The only minus was weak WIFI signal from time to time.

Good price, excellent service and very good room!

I went to Venice during Carnival time and this hotel was just perfect for us as the price we paid was very convenient. Even though it's not on the main island, it's very near and you can take bus 56 just from opposite the church in the corner near to the hotel, which is going to take you to Piazzale Roma (about 10 mins by bus ride). It's also walking minutes away from supermarkets which is a plus if you are going on a budget and want to save on food.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Isabella, one of the evening shift receptionist was really good to us and kept us very well served at all times. Thank you for that!
Room was very clean, warm, with a mini refrigerator to store food and a good shower to start and finish our days.
Our experience in this hotel was very pleasant and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a very good hotel for good price. I would definitely go back to this place!

Good area outside Venice, clean, but slightly outdated and worn.

A 2 minute walk in a lovely little subsection of Maghera from the bus stop that takes you to Venice St. Lucia Station (Bus Lines 6 or /6) in about 10-15 minutes where you transfer to water buses or walk to the main Venice attractions. The main plaza of Maghera hosts a mercato on certain days and the subsection has plenty of cafes, banks and restaurants to get you situated before and to satisfy your cravings after a day trip to Venice. I actually had some of the best pizza I had in Italy at a pizzeria in Municipio plaza!

Area felt safe (20-something female traveling alone), but I had to ask directions to find the place. From the Venice-Mestre train station take buses from the side of the street as the train station (going right from station exit). Maghera is just around the corner from the station, but not walkable. I got off at the wrong stop and may have taken the wrong bus number. Although Bus 15 got me there, there may be a better bus to take a different line, like Bus 10. You want to get off at Municipio Plaza and head left down Rossarol, if that helps!

The reception was friendly and helpful with directions. The hotel is a bit worn with what I think was cedar cabinetry that had a strong, but bearable smell. Restrooms were clean, even the grout, but the bed linen was slightly torn from wear and tear. The room was larger than others I stayed in in Italy, but the bed was not very comfortable. That said, I would stay there again.

My friend and I used this hotel for our visit to Venice. Location is good. It's quite aways away from the train station in Mestre; we had to take a taxi, which ended up being about 14 euros because it was a Sunday night and we had luggage. However, it's quite easy to get to Venice from the hotel as there are buses that go from Mestre to Venice quite often; just ask the staff at the front desk and they will map out the closest bus stop for you.

Pros: very helpful staff, good breakfast, short bus ride away from Venice, located in a nice little neighborhood.
Cons: a bit of an older hotel, room was hot--AC didn't work and we couldn't open the windows because of mosquitos (not the hotel's fault, but it's good to know), had problems connecting to the Internet intially.

Esperienza da dimenticare

Questa struttura non si può chiamare l' hotel, massimo stanze in affitto, quasi completa assenza del personale e tranne il signore che ci ha accolti il resto assomigliava ad un scherzo di pessimo gusto. Di notte nessuno alla ricezione. Alle 22h già tutto chiuso devi entrare con pass sperando che non avrai bisogno di niente durante la notte. Zona fuori completamente dalla stazione dei bus.
\"Collazione\" é troppo chiamarla cosi. Non prendete quel caffé.

suite à une croisiere au depart de venise , nous avons trouvé sur votre site cet hotel qui nous a paru correct , avec un personnel agréable et un petit dejeuner copieux.
la chambre été bien mais le seul problème c'est que le dessus de lit ainsi que les tapis étaient un peu ancien.

Hotel okay, Zimmer ist mit 3 Einzelbetten. Etwas dunkel, aber schöner grüner Baum vor dem Fenster. Frühstück absolut okay. Rezeption freundlich und hilfreich. Zimmerausstattung einfach, aber ausreichend und sauber. Leere Minibar kann als Kühlschrank verwendet werden. Toilette etwas klein. Fernseher ist okay. Klimaanlage ist schön leise, kühlt aber nur auf 26 °C runter. Videoüberwachung in den Etagen.

I had checked where, but when I looked for the bus, there was no map in Venice, and bus drivers did not not know exactly where they go. The bus had no announcement, and no electric indicator. Even if you know the name of the busstop, you might have a problem.

The room was good enough. The people were kind.

Attention: the reception desk closes at 22h, after that they do not accept your check in!!
