A fantastic hotel in a great location! Plenty of parking, a close drive to Venice and surrounding area, located right beside the highway for easy access, short drive from major shopping centers as well.

An incredible buffet for breakfast, friendly knowledgeable staff, funky rooms that were clean and spacious, beds could have been comfier but that was similar all over Italy. Definitely recommend for the price and location!

I want your owners to know the dangerous conditions in the showers. They are very large. They have no handles to hold on to. The liquid soap makes the floor of the shower like an ice rink. I began slipping and fell on my side and head. It was very difficult trying to get up because of the slippery floor. I was lucky I didn't really hurt myself. My hip, and head still hurt. You are going to have a lawsuit in the future, if you don't correct the floor, and install some handles.

Hotel is located close by the bus station and walkable distance to the train station. Take bus no 6 to Venice. Return ticket is €3 and you can purchase it in the hotel. Breakfast is buffet and plenty of choice. Overall we had a good stay.

Very reasonable price extremely clean and modern friendly helpful staff. Very close to bus route 6 which takes you to the Venice historic Island in 10 to 15 minutes. My only complaint was you could not change the thermostat more than 2 degrees Centigrade. But when I complained about it the next morning the front desk gladly set the temperature to what I wanted.

Great hotel for visiting Venice as bus stop is close by. Restaurant was a bit manic as only one staff member on duty and the manager had to step in. Was organised chaos especially when the barman proceeded to make his views known quite clearly in front of guests. I don't really like using hotel restaurants as they are overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately the position of this hotel nothing else seemed to be around. The hotel is very nice and very quiet which is what you need.

Very pleasant hotel but not possible to control temperature in room so too hot to sleep. Apparently controlled centrally. Too noisy outside next to motorway to open window. Also so many uncontrollable lights flashing in room, 2 on the ceiling, green light emanating from box on wall. Exhausted!

The last night I had dinner at the hotel and suffered from diarea as soon as I finished eating. I tried to call the from desk and was not able to reach them, I was next to the bed and noticed little black bugs on the bed. I got dressed and went down to the front desk to let them know, I was told the manager would be notified.
I could not sleep and left the hotel very early the next morning.

Nice hotel, 15 min bus ride into Venice

Nice modern, clean hotel with a big room and bath. Restaurant with good food downstairs that's open until 10 or 11p. Hotel is in a quiet area with maybe 1 or 2 places to eat/bars in walking distance. Walking distance to bus stop which takes you into Venice (#6) in no more than 15 minutes.

Very out of the way......no transport services.....no gym....no pool.....breakfast was OK, but being Gluten free was not worth the money (lots of breaks, croissants, cakes - but nothing GF).
Overall, disappointed, expected better with the reviews it had. Bus from airport took you to Downtown Venice......another bus ride to area of hotel.....then drag your bags 5-6 blocks. Although reasonable in price, this does not outweigh the inconvenience of several bus trips and dragging one's bags. I am not sure if having a rental car would have been any more convenient, as going into Venice was still a 40 minute bus ride away or parking $$$ in town.

A place to call home

As what I have not expected it to be. When we arrived at the front lobby of the hotel we were greeting by a friendly staff who accommodated us by issuing a luggage reciepts which in the case of early arrival than the usual check in time. Because of that, the front desk staff gave us the map and how to catch the bus to Venice. It is 10 mins by bus to the city. After our little excursion, we headed back to our hotel, we then accommodated right there. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor. The room is so spacious, clean and very comfy. The wi-fi is free too. The morning buffet is continental and a lot of choices. They have an plug adaptor you could borrow for a deposit (Euro 5) where they returned after you returned the adaptor. They also help out printing our flight confirmation ticket free of charge. Too bad we only stayed for a day.

Just a little too far from the train station or city center, which makes it inconvenient to get dinner or something. The walk from the Mestre train station is a little too far, quiet and poorly litted at night to be comfortable.

The hotel is situated about 5 miles from Venice but is located within 200m of a bus stop that takes you to Venice. A shop near the bus stop where you can buy a 1 day ticket for 20 euros or 2 day for 30 euros, this also entitles you to use the canal buses for the length of ticket you buy.Buses are every 51 minutes.
The hotel is pretty new with easy access to Venice on the bus.

This was the first Mercure hotel we've stayed at, and I am now sold on the chain. The hotel was very clean, the design was modern, and the breakfast was good. Only downside was the neighborhood could be perceived as a little shady. Regardless, we'll definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

We had stayed here three years earlier on a trip to Venice and decided to stay there again. No complaints. We had a family of five and the room was super clean, accommodating and the A/C worked great, which was needed because it was blistering hot outside. The breakfast is one of the better ones you will find at a hotel. Plenty of choices and plenty to eat. The wait staff, just like three years ago is super nice. We had dinner there twice and the menu was not quite as good as it was three years earlier, but sufficient after a long day. It's a very short walk to the bus that drops you off in Venice and an even shorter walk when you get dropped off on the way back. Parking is free and there is plenty of it.

We stayed here 3 nights to visit Venice. We decided to stay outside of Venice since we have a car and have been to Venice before. This is a great hotel for that purpose. The bus was just a 5 minute walk and is frequent. 20 minutes later and you are in Venice. The hotel is reasonable priced and a very good value. Breakfast was good too.

We've stayed three nights. It's a clean hotel with an satisfied breakfast. The problem is location and depending on this transportation. It's located at Marghera which is not walking distance even to Mestre. Maybe it's better to prefer a hotel nearby center of Mestre.

The stay was lovely away from the canal on mainland. Breakfast was good as long as you do not try to eat everything on offer each day which would then limit your choices the next day or you would end up being bored of the same food. Had dinner in the restaurant also which was was lovely and in the price range for what would be expected of a hotel of that rating. It was easy to get into town by bus number 6 (20 mins) to catch the boats for the various locations or sight seeing. Easy journey from the airport on bus 15 or to make it faster take bus number 5 to the last stop then change to number 6 to Marghera. The bus stop is approximately 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Cheap hotel out of Venice

Nice hotel but too far out if Venice. The air con didn't go low enough. Room never went below 23 degrees at night. I booked a junior suite for 2 adults and 2 older children and was given a double bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed.

Perfect venice hotel if you come by car

Was a perfect hotel for our stay in Venice. We drove across from Tuscany and we left the car at the hotel and took the bus to the entrance to venice (15mins). from there we walked through all the little streets and bridges and in the end took the vaporetta back to the bus and onto the hotel. Hotel was very clean, good breakast, and plenty of parking. Much better prices than center of venice :)
