Understand that this hotel has an awesome view to the east sea, not towards Caldera. Also, its in an island area where you can walk to nothing. Its not near the main areas of the island with bars, restaurants, etc. If you understand this, its fine. Also, many rooms have a loft bed meaning a staircase up so to use the restroom its down and then back up.

Customer care was above and beyond. Extremely kind and provided us so la y options for excursions (we highly recommend the Volcano yacht excursion. Such an amazing experience and well priced given all of the sites we visited). Room/apartment was so clean and was general area. The Greek salad was out of this world. Thanks to all for such an amazing stay!

Almost perfect!!

We loved having our own private jacuzzi and front patio area. We loved having our own private balcony. We loved the cave room and indoor shower & jacuzzi.

Our view was amazing. We were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunrises & sunsets from our own patio.

We enjoyed the breakfasts they delivered to our room daily.

Service was exceptional minus a snafoo with prearranged booking of in-room massages and taxi to airport. Would recommend booking in person instead of prearranging.

If there was a sea view from bed, this hotel would have been perfect.

I recently stayed at this property with a group of ten people, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The place was overrun with cats and kittens, which, while perhaps charming to some, was not ideal for us. The owner constantly yelled at us to keep quiet every night, despite our group renting three rooms and paying a hefty amount. It felt like we were being constantly monitored and treated more like children than guests. Additionally, they insisted on us using their transportation services, which were priced three times higher than the going rate elsewhere. Instead of offering courtesy and accommodating their guests, it felt like we were being overcharged. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience that didn't justify the cost.

The Receptionist that received us didn’t have the kindness while responding to some request we had. We arrived quite early to the hotel (around 11 am) and knew that the checkin was around 3 pm. My wife asked him to help us to get the room ready as soon as possible but the receptionist response was he couldn’t kick out the previous clients. We didn’t meant and asked him to kick out anyone. Just wanted to get the room as soon as possible.

The Dome was in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of town. We personally found our trip much more enjoyable with a rental car to get around, but there is a walking path to get around as needed. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, food and drinks were pricey and food was only okay. We ended up eating off property for the majority of the trip.

Rude staff. Dated property that does not look as good as in the images. Food (breakfast) also not great like described in the advertisement. If you want to get out the hotel for food it’s an extremely dangerous walk along treacherous roads or you will be extorted by local taxi drivers.

Would suggest the suite with outdoor jetted hot tub. Fantastic large room and outdoor space.
Amazing breakfast served to your room. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night. Had an early morning flight and hotel staff arranged transfer from hotel to airport although overpriced) and packed our breakfast to take with us.

Great 🏨 in Imerovigli with beautiful ocean view. It's a 10-minute drive from Fira, the charming capital city of Santorini, and a 20-minute drive from Oia, the picturesque west side of the cliff.
Rooms are dome shaped, very beautifully designed with ample space, and come with a balcony and private pool /jacuzzi. There is a restaurant, beautiful pargola, and an infinity outdoor pool for all the patrons.
Hotel staff are friendly and ready to help with any need.
Note- Do use hotel provided taxi service to Fira, Oia, or any other trip to rest for the island. the driver is super helpful and knowledgeable 👌
We had absolutely wonderful experiences staying and would love to stay here again. ❤️

The location is actually perfect. It’s not on the Caldera side so it’s quiet and secluded feeling with unobstructed views of the sunrise. The rooms are comfy and cave like. The real star though is the staff. Simply amazing. Maria at the counter can help with almost anything. Vasia, Georgia and the rest of the staff are hard working and at your service from sunrise to sunset. Gabriel at the bar takes pride in creating wonderful cocktails and the kitchen makes delicious food. You can’t go wrong staying here!

Beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and Caldera. We had an excellent time! The front desk staff are amazing, very friendly, courteous and always willing to help. Thomas was everywhere, bartending, delivering room service from 8 in the am until 10 at night. We went during off season so the restaurants and pools were closed. We could still order food and it was just divine.

superb hotel and staff. highly recommended

We have a 2 year old boy and found it difficult to find a family friendly, safe hotel that could accommodate us in this area.
This hotel is superb. From all aspects.
the room was extremely clean, spotless which is a great first impression
The staff were so very friendly throughout. They go out of their way to satisfy. Exceeding expectations throughout our stay.
The food was delicious. We worked our way through the menu!
Our little one loved the rooms hot tub. Spent hours in it.
The location is great. A short walk to Imerovigli and Thera.
The hotel is on the other side of the Caldera view. So you cannot see Oia from the hotel, however you simply walk across the road and up 7 steps and its right there!
However the bonus was the sunrise view is right in front of this hotel. I watched it from our front balcony a few times. Breath taking.
Personally having watched the sunset many times and the sunrise, I think the sunrise is actually far more spectacular.

Outstanding resort with amazing service

This hotel was a paradise!
I loved everything. Very clean, outstanding service from every single employee, the menu was absolutely delicious and the drinks as well.
The room was incredible, with a balcony that has the best view ever and we hot upgraded to a suite with an outside jacuzzi. I had the best experience so far among other resorts.This resort is highly recommended, not only for peaceful environment, but mostlyfir the excellent service I received from the staff. We are definitely coming back soon.

Wonderful stay overall. Staff really goes above and beyond. Only complaints would be all the ants that were getting in through the AC unit and the bed was harder than we'd like. Would 100% go back!

Note that it does not face the caldera bjt as a result gets sun all morning and into the early afternoon! Its also nice and quiet and private compared to resorts on the caldera side.

Great hotel with a place to park

We were told that this hotel was a great place to stay by the locals and we were not disappointed. It was very beautiful inside with a cave style look and a hot tub indoors. The pool outside was delightful with a nice view. Having a place to park next to the hotel was a lifesaver; there aren't too many places to park on the island. The breakfast was okay and it was free in the restaurant. The staff was helpful. The only negatives that I have about the hotel were the hotel drinks and a huge spider in the room. The hotel drinks were the worst that I have ever had. I would not recommend getting mixed drinks there. Stick with wines and beers. It was overall a great place to stay and I am a frequent traveler. I would recommend staying here especially if you are renting a car.

Beware this resort double books!

Not a great stay! My sister in law had booked 2 rooms and upon arrival we were notified that only 1 room was available despite having confirmation that we had 2 rooms booked. Not a great start to our holiday, although the reservations manger tried his best to accommodate us all he only managed to do that for the first 3 nights, the other couple of nights my sister in law and her husband were moved to a nearby hotel. Food was average more choice is needed as it’s the same menu for lunch and dinner. Location was okay but you need to get taxi’s everywhere and they aren’t very punctual. Pool is really cold so not ideal for children, would book elsewhere in future with a heated pool.

confirmed booking but had no room for me!

We booked 2 rooms at The Dome, a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children and another room to accommodate 1 adults. Upon arrival there was only the family room available even though I had made 2 confirmed bookings with Hotels.com and had emails to confirm. The family room had been paid prior to arrival, however the standard room was payable upon arrival as confirmed by hotels.com. The reservations manager however said the reason for the room being cancelled was because the room hadn't been paid for prior to arrival, although this isn't the case as confirmed by hotels.com. The reservations manager did try his best to find a solution and offered me and my friend complimentary drinks while he was trying to sort the issues out. He offered us 1 night stay at The Dome and said he would need to transfer us to another hotel for the rest of the stay (4 nights). At breakfast the following morning he said he had managed to accommodate us for a further 2 nights at the Dome and even though this meant we could be with the rest of the family, I had already packed from the night before so it meant unpacking again. For the final 2 nights we were accommodated to a nearby property which was lovely and I wish we had been moved there after the first night.
Dimitris was very helpful but we didn't have the best stay and the relaxing holiday we were hoping for. The bar staff were exceptional,food and drink was good but more variety to the menu needs to be added

Santorini no matter where you stay you’ll need a car to get around? Do long walks or rent a taxi. This resort is in the middle of Oia and Fira and is nice and quiet with not a lot of tourist. I enjoyed our 5 night stay

Great location and very helpful staff. We've already talked about returning. Only issue was hot tub was a little too cool. Food was very good. Loved the Greek street food. They had quads delivered to hotel for us. The return trip to airport they arranged transportation but it was very expensive.

Amazing suites with heated Jacuzzi

We had a wonderful stay at the Dome Resort. It's location is amazing, away from the corded Oia and Thira but only 15-20 mins by car to both places. It is a very well located hotel. The food and staff at the hotel both noteworthy. The food is yummy and the staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. I would re-visit the hotel again and stay there as well. the view is just outstanding.

Generally a nice place to stay but not good value

The hotel was lovely, very well maintained with nice facilities, e.g. The Swimming pool.
I was under the impression we would get a secluded terrace/balcony, but we didn't. We were only provided with one bottle of 'complimentary' water so we had to buy the rest. The hot tub took quite a long time to fill up to the required level to turn it on. Occasionally the water took a while to get warm enough. Breakfast was expensive at 15€ per person per day and they didn't have a huge number of options, although well presented.
Isn't very close to any shops/restaurants, not within walking distance therefore would recommend hiring a car or bike if staying here.
Generally a nice place to stay but not very good value for money, expected more for the amount we paid.

Fabulous Retreat

We enjoyed 10 fabulous nights at the Dome and wanted for nothing. We arrived on our first evening at 9.30pm hungry and tired from travelling - the staff set us up a lovely candlelit dinner table and we enjoyed our first romantic meal in Santorini. The holiday just got better from there. Dimitri , Dante and the whole team were brilliant and made us feel very welcome recommending places to see and eat.
If you want a peaceful resort away from shops and bars this is definitely the right location as the onsite amenities catered for all of your needs - however if you want a livelier holiday you need to stay more central to Thira - we didn't so very happy. Would recommend a quad bike to get around this fabulous beautiful Island as it was the best way to get to all of the attractions and secret hideaways.
The fact that the hotel doesn't face the Caldera should not put you off as you only have to walk across the road to get to the Caldera side - where you can sit with a bottle of wine and enjoy the beautiful sunset. If you turn right on the Caldera front and walk to the café bar car park after the Santorini Princess Hotel you can walk down to a secluded little church - we watched the sunset from here quite a few times in total seclusion which was eerily quiet and calming - a must !!
Recommend the Avocado restaurant in Imerovigli but you need to book a table if wanting to eat after 7.30 as it is very popular and you wo

Bad view, a lot of bugs.

We didn't like the hotel at all!!! A lot of bugs everywhere, the view is not pretty, there are electricity cables everywhere, breakfast (if you really can call it breakfast) sucks, the wifi didn't work most of the time, pool was dirty, location is sucks. All we wanted was to leave the room! Save your money for a nicer hotel.

Fabulous hotel, slightly off the beaten path in Santorini. Not right in the thick of Fira or Oia, but a short ride to either or a 30 minute walk to Fira. Hotel staff were fabulous and very helpful. Beautiful, large, clean, spacious rooms. Highly recommend this place!!

The five stars are for the amazing staff that truely made our stay. We were greated by Damitri promptly on our arrival and he took care of everything for us, even helped plan out our days on the island. The rooms are amazing, very spacious and we loved the out door jacuzzi. The food was all good and the bar tender/ waiter. Was great as well ( sorry can't remember his name) the only down side to this resort is its facing the east side of the island not the west so you dont get the sunsets or views of the Volcanoes. However the view is still very nice from every where on the property.

Amazing Staff! Great Location for Sun Rise

Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Location was great Right in the middle of the island 20min drive to oia or 2hr walk if you like hiking. Fira is 10min drive or 45min walk if you like hiking and the beaches are about 25mins drive.

The hotel is great for sun rise 06:20 but to get the view of he sunset you need to go to the other side just through a path between two hotels 20:33.

The privacy compaired to other hotels is good. you have your own jacuzzi outside which is nice and one inside which takes to long to fill up. one small tv which you would hardly watch and the sport channels where blocked, Room was small.

The bed was a bit hard for my wife and plenty of wild life. Birds waking you up in the morining and dogs howling at night. Breakfast is a buffet but had the same food every day so got board not much variety. Cocktails where great and the steak was nice.

Located in the middle of Fira and Oia. Short driving time to these 2 popular tourist areas. My family enjoys the Jacuzzi inside the junior suite. Wifi speed is a bit slow. The ordering procedure of breakfast can be improved.

Nice hotel overlooking the sea

We spent two nights at the Dome Resort, and had a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely responsive to all of our needs and took great care of us. The resort is small and so our experience was very personal in a quiet atmosphere.

Perfect location.

Beautiful location and views. The rooms were amazing, really stylish and have all the facilities you would expect at this price range. The private swimming pools and hot tubs were fab and helped us to unwind. Gives families the privacy they need with kids. The staff are friendly and helpful, Joanna at the front desk, Dmitris and the guy waiting on us at breakfast every morning.

It was so refreshing to see them take care of my 3 year old niece and 5 month old nephew and not for tips but genuinely because they wanted to ensure our stay was perfect.

Only minor criticism I would have is that there should be more choice and variation for breakfast.
