Very comfortable and Nice room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices and work perffect free wifi. Great TV and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts. I love the swiming pool. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and buses and the Central Station. I will certainly be back.\"

We loved our stay at Abrazo Villas. We stayed in the Corali Villa and really liked how much space there was inside the acommodation with a large outdoor seating area also. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and you can rent ATVs and Scooters on site.The pool area is spacious and clean with lots of shade, tables and sunbeds. The elevated view over the east coast of the island from the pool area is great. A short walk up a relatively steep hill and you are in the middle of Imerovigli with access to lots of great restaurants, and you can follow the spectacular Caldera walk to Oia.

Best stay ever!

Our family had an AMAZING time at Abrazo Villas. We stayed in the Thalassa Villa and it was ideal for our group of 5. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The view of the pool and the ocean in the background was absolutely breathtaking! The concierge staff were also friendly and super helpful. They did everything to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay. We were also pleased with the breakfast. It was so nice to enjoy our meal on our terrace every morning. It was the cherry on top! You will not regret staying here.

We stayed in the Thea villa which is located at the back of the villa complex. The villa itself was very clean, the hot tub was lovely and there is a Carrefour literally about a minute walk from the villa.

We had an optional free breakfast which was nice of cold cuts, bread, coffee and juice. The sunrise from the villa itself is such a sight to behold and you can see it from bed which is an added bonus.

Communication was great here and the staff were very friendly and giving us advice about where to go and where to eat, even offering to get us reservations on places on our behalf - thank you Irina!

I've read a few reviews on here about it being too hilly and the roads being unwalkable. Whilst I would say that yes, the roads in Santorini generally don't have footpaths, that's not exclusive to this place so don't rate it against that. And to anyone complaining about how steep it is, again, yes it is steep, but if you look at a map before you arrive at the island, you will realise it's literally a volcanic caldera so I don't know what people really expect. To solve this, the villa offers to hire ATV/quad bikes to get around for quite a reasonable price, and it's such a great way to get around so highly recommend that.

To people also claiming on sadly missing out on the sunset, it's a 10-15 walk up to Imerovigli (it's a steep hill) or a 1 minute drive with a quad, which again, I recommend, so it's really easy to catch the sunset if you wish to see it, it's not hard.

Overall this property was disappointing. Located on a very busy uphill road, definitely not walkable. The road is very noisy at night and there was a constant loud noise throughout the night that kept us up. The bed is pretty uncomfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, stale cookies and bread. Not many vegetarian options (fruit, few slices of cheese and hard boiled eggs). Called to ask for more coffee for breakfast but was told we were unable to get any cappuccinos or espresso. The service was not the best, only cleaned our room once during our 3 night stay. Never replenished our toilet paper or shampoo/ body wash. Was only offered 2 water bottles for our entire stay. The pool area was nice and the pool bar had really good food. Overall we expected more from a 4 star hotel.

Run away from this property. See pics for your info. Listen to the bad reviews, horrible place, overpriced, not a 4 start hotel, more like a 1 star hotel, they are scamming people. After pointing out such disgusting, dirty conditions, no money back was granted, we had to book two different hotels, no concern at all to fix the situation. Entitled, tried to prove us wrong constantly, Shane on Expedia gif posting this place. See it for yourself!

The villas are very pretty and in excellent condition. The pool setup is great as well as the pool bar. Transportation to OÍA is very easy but for Fira you need to walk up a big hill (5-7 minutes walk) to be able to take a bus. Otherwise the transfer options are expensive. Breakfast is average ( dry/hard bread). Unfortunately, I got bitten by bed bugs at this hotel ( I realized at the second night and saw the bed bugs when I woke up! The hotel manager managed this very poorly, made me feel as it was me maybe that brought them? I took longer to submit my comments as I wanted to make sure that there was no bed bugs at the hotel in Athens I previously stayed before going to Santorini. I am back to Athens and no bed bugs here. Be aware of what just happened to be in such clean hotel?

I love the lava room where we stayed because it has the best view of the caldera,of course it comes with a price. Mathew and his brother were very accomodating and helpful. Their chef, Dimitri, was very nice,and we enjoyed chatting with him about Santorini, and also the menu we ordered was really good. The only major issue for us was accessing the hotel. While it is only 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, it's going uphill and no designated side walk on a narrow 2 lane road,with very fast local drivers, they don't give way or slow down for pedestrians. This would've been a nice stroll if not for the safety issue. Unless, you use taxi or rent a car,this is a beautiful quiet place.

Need transportation or great walking shoes to get into the closest area for shopping, Thira. Sad that we were on the wrong side of the island and couldn't see the sunsets but still had a great view of the water. There were no shelves or drawers in the room to unpack. Staff was wonderful and helpful, even got us connected with an ATV within an hour of our arrival.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Went to Santorini for the first time with my wife, initial reviews of the hotel seemed very positive.

I have no vendetta or grievance with the establishment but here’s the truth.

The property is located directly on the back of a very, very busy main road with large trucks, buses, noisy moped a constant noise hazard all throughout the day and night, so if you’re not keen on sleeping this hotel is idea for you.

Breakfast, I would rather prefer they not offer anything. You have an A4 sheet to fill in for the following morning where you specify time required, the number of teas and coffees, with how many glasses of milk etc to accompany the cold tea/coffee.

Egg options, choice of boiled, fried or omelet options again you choose number of servings, finally you select the quantity of meat hot or cold meat options.

Being honest, this is all you get. They serve each item with little care and attention and quite honestly breakfast is used to inflate the price of the stay. We ended up going out for breakfast as you got a proper breakfast at least.

Location, if you’re a hiker, climber this squalid hotel is ideal for you, very hilly to get up and down to if you fancy a daily challenge without a car of quad bike etc.

The management Matthew is very arrogant and rude and frankly I will never go back to this vile little cesspit of a residence again

We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The check in process was very good and the staff were very friendly. We requested a baby cot and that was in the room when we arrived which was great.
The only problem with the villa was the cleanliness. There was banana rind on one of the wooden armchairs when we arrived and our feet were always black on the bottom as it seemed though they have not moped the floor for a while.
The place was quite and relaxing, and we often had the pool area to ourselves. The outdoor space is huge as well, which made the place feel great. The breakfast was very nice and served to the living room or our outdoor table for us. They have a huge car park as well which is great if you have a hire care.

A lovely quiet retreat away from all the noise!

My wife and I stayed here for 6 days. We wanted a nice little cosy place to stay away from all the madness of the tourist hotspots, and Abrazo fit the bill perfectly. The Villa is a short uphill walk from a small parade of Imerovigli shops

The host Danai was wonderful, she encourages you to add her on WhatsApp and message any queries. Also gave us a short history lesson on Santorini when we arrived which was really useful

The living room was very spacious, large and very comfy sofa to sit on, dining table and cheers. The fridge doubles up as the mini bar, there are plenty of cutlery, plates, cups and bowls for food. There is a little hotplate instead of a stove. There was only one large pot to cook with (which was fine for the one night we cooked pasta), could have done with a few different size pots

The bathroom is nice and spacious, the shower head is hung low on the wall so you have to hold it up and shower yourself with it, minor inconvenience. Fine on the whole

Breakfast is delivered to the room every morning at the time you set. You fill out a form with what options you want for food, all very nice. Plenty of breads, croissants, jams and spreads, also cereals, fruit, eggs, tea/coffee and juices

If you want to be among the hustle and bustle then this place is not for you, stay in Fira or Oia. But for somewhere quiet to stay, ideally if you have a car, this was perfect for us

Danai was great. The entire staff was on point. To be honest I was a little worried when we got dropped off😆. I know silly me is used to the bigger chain hotels that we get suckered into. I am so glad we stayed here. No regrets. Close to many nice beaches. I recommend renting a car.

The property was in a completely different location to what we imagined. We thought we had a view of the Caldera, but apparently misread the situation and a mountain separated us from the view. However, after having walked around the nearby village or Firostefani, which has stunning views across the Caldera, and having it so close to us when we wanted it, we appreciated being away from the 'action'. Abrazo 8 Villas offered a different experience - quiet, lovely rooms, a huge breakfast, pool, parking and wonderful, helpful staff. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there... and there is a great view of the Aegean!

A great stay in Santorini

Our family had an excellent two night stay here! The villa had an amazing view (perfect for watching the sunrise) and was plenty spacious for our family of 5. The area was quiet and had a nice quiet feel. The staff was so friendly from the time we checked in until we left. We loved the breakfast spread delivered to our door each morning. From the airport, we reached in about 10 minutes in our rental car, and there was parking available on site. Overall, we had a comfortable and relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Honestly book this place! Danai and the team who work there (sadly didn’t get the names of the others) are so kind and ready to help! The villa is beautiful, you have everything you need with a view of the sea from your bed! Spacious rooms, very clean and well looked after. The pool area is simply stunning! Imerviglio is quite a quiet town but it’s an easy 20 minute walk until Thira or you can hire a car/quad and it will take you no time! We were very happy with our stay!

Staff were very accommodating to requests for information/ restaurant reservations/ tour bookings. Taxi was pre- arranged for arrival by hotel and highly recommended - port area very busy when the ferries come in.

Walking any distance not recommended since villa is on a busy road without sidewalks, however bus stop nearby and cabs are available to call head.

Breakfast delivered in the morning, adequate variety/breads/fruit/eggs. Compensations made when A/C not working with mini bar/fridge. This gesture was appreciated and offered by hotel staff. I felt they always tried their best for us!

Staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. However the redtaurants, bus stop and shops a bit far away from the hotel. It's needed to walk up a long narrow slope by 8-10 mins where the cars runs fast so that not recommended to walk outside. Rental cars or transfer service is more suitable to and from any interested places but a bit dear. If going, the budget expense should be considered. The meals delivery services is easy made.

Renting a car/scooter etc.is a must to stay here.

On the positive side, the room was quite nice. The bedroom and bath were spacious and there was a separate large sitting room with tv and eating table/kitchen sink etc. The room also was very cool, even in very hot weather. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was nice but not great in terms of \"hot\" items. The pool was relatively large and was a perfect refreshing temperature. On the negative side, the location was less than ideal. The water view was not on the caldera side, but on the opposite side, which meant that we were at the bottom of a steep hill from Imerovegli. There was nothing of a \"town\"any where but straight up that hill. Bus service was very difficult as the \"bus stop\" was referred to as the second Imerovigli stop was without any shelter and barely out of the road. Bus service from Fira basically refused to acknowledge that there was a \"second Imerovigli stop, which meant we had to walk down the long steep road from Imerovigli at night, hoping not to get run over. At least once the bus fro Oia refused to stop for us and we were required to walk up the steep hill into Imervigli
in 100 degree temperature. We would not recommend this hotel for anyone planning on using the local buses. Renting your own transportation is mandatory..

Great service, friendly staff

The service was incredible! You select what you want for breakfast and they bring it to your room at your designated time in the morning. They also helped me book a car, which arrived at the hotel shortly, where there was a large free parking lot. This was needed since the location wasn't a bit out of the way of main attractions.

Lovely place, but a little out of the way

The apartment itself was really nice, in the style of a cave. Bathroom, bedroom and a lounge with kitchenette. Bed was very hard, which my partner loved, but me not so much! All the staff were really lovely and friendly and brought us breakfasts each morning and helped us to hire a car pretty much instantly. We didn't use the pool as it was too cold bit one of the staff made sure all the outside space was super clean each day.

Bring slippers or house flip flops as the floor can get dirty with you traipsing in bits of sand, volcano and general dirt as you explore the fantastic island!

As other people have said the location is the only downside. It's a 10-15 min walk into imerovigli but that is all up a massively steep hill. I ended up pulling my calf muscles on day 1 so I'd recommend a few sessions at the gym on the leg muscles before you attempt it!!! There are a number of supermarkets in imerovigli to stock up on food and drink.

From imerovigli it's a further 10 min walk to firastephani and another 15 mins into for a itself. This walk is lovely as it's a coastal path downhill (lots of steps and cobbles/stones) and the view is absolutely stunning.

Due to the location and also the fact the island is very hilly I would suggest you leave heels at home! Bring a decent pair of trainers, some fancy trainer shoes or fancy yet decent flats for the evening walks and some decent flipflops for the beach and general wandering round towns!

We stayed there for 4 days and we were quite happy with our stay.
Pros: lots of space so its good for family. Cust service very good. Brrakfast was tasty. The receptinist was super nice and helpful.
Cons: there was a rambling noise at night (not sure from the wind or the traffic). So if you are light sleeper,it gonna be touch to sleep. There was a sewage smell after the first day.

Greeted by the hotel staff and had a welcome drink. Staff were excellent . Wonderful service all round with breakfast served in room every morning .

Space in the villa was really good. Room was cleaned every day .

Great place to stay!!!

To begin with the owner make sure to contact me via email to arrange transportation. Secondly, the room was available for an early check in. The office arranged the wine tasting tour the same day, calling the taxis as we requested and also for transport when leaving to Mykonos. The breakfast offered at this place was unbelievable. The owner had a special wine to welcome us as guest. I couldn't ask for better and warm welcoming. Definitely, will stay at this place.

We stayed in Votsalo for 3 nights and it was a great experience! The room was beautiful, the staff was helpful and breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very quiet, many times it felt like we had the pool to ourselves. It is conveniently located, down the street from the bus stop taking you toward Fira in one direction and Oia in the other. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Great Hotel

The hotel was recently refurbished and is run under new management. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It had no view to the caldera, but still the view to the sea and nearby islands was breathtaking. The rooms were clean, spacious and very stylish. Excellent breakfast next to the pool. Parking area inside the hotel.

Beautiful villas for a good price

We've just got back from an amazing 11 nights in Santorini , abrazo 8 villas. These are lovely well kept accommodation and the staff were brilliant. They can't do enough for you, e.g. The day before we left Tonia at reception rang me to ask if we would like a taxi organising to pick us up from the airport , as taxis are limited on the island. We were offered an upgrade to a caldera view room in a sister hotel for 3 nights but we turned it down as it meant packing and unpacking to come back to abrazo in the middle of our hols, but very kind of them. Overall these are great little villas with a private pool and a great view over the island ( not caldera) and a short walk to imergivoli. A great base to discover the best parts of the island and only 20-30 mins walk along the cliffs to Fira . Also make sure you visit eddie in the sunset cafe in firostefani, amazing sunset , great priced drinks and entertainment courtesy of eddie the waiter.

Very clean hotel. Lovely breakfast.

I loved this hotel as soon as I arrived. Lovely pool area with a beautiful sunrise each morning which for me was much more spectacular than the sunsets which could be viewed from the other side of Imerovigli. It was my birthday whilst I was there and the hotel provided a cake (as requested) to be delivered with my breakfast.
