Beautiful room, comfortable bed and amazing private pool with a breathtaking view. The owner was very friendly and great to chat with. Excellent breakfast as well. Imerovigli is pretty quiet in November so I would recommend renting a scooter or car if visiting in the quiet season.

I couldn't recommend Remezzo Villas more highly. Our room was fantastic, the staff at the hotel were lovely and the breakfast each morning was different and delicious! We definitely want to visit again and wont bother looking at any other hotels. The view of the sunset was brilliant and our room felt very private compared to some other places on the island. Thank you so much!

Perfect little mini moon getaway

We had a an amazing stay at Remezzo for our honeymoon. First of all the views from our room were incredible likely the best on the island! Initially We arrived on during a storm and the whole island turned orange covered in sand, but the next day after the storm passed everything was deep cleaned and spotless again. Each day there was a delicious 4 course breakfast changing the menu each day. The hosts were fantastic and Christina provided us with some great information on local eats and drinking spots. Overall it’s a perfect little place to come on a honeymoon and tuck yourself away enjoying the views and the amazing pool the room had to offer.

I highly recommend staying here! The location and view were perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast every morning, and service was the best. Breathtaking Aegean Sea views just outside the door of this property; a very nice and clean pool with a very prolific old olive tree next to it, providing shade during sunny afternoons; fantastic four course breakfasts; Christina being very friendly and patient, answering our questions and making dining recommendations; the famous paved hiking trail from Fira to Oia just outside the door; and Fava, the owner’s dog, actually taking the name from a locally produced bean, which is yellow.

We stayed at this wonderful place for almost a week! It’s a family owned property where you are treated like royalty! Christina and Vasilli were absolutely amazing! Christina provided us with some very nice restaurant recommendations and she tended to any needs or requests. Vasilli prepared delicious breakfasts every day! The Villas are beautifully decorated and very clean! There's a nice pool with absolutely gorgeous views of the sea, mountains, and sunset! We would return tomorrow if we could! If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, look no further!

You are made to feel like home when you first arrive at the Remezzo. The manager, Christina and her staff greet you with a warm welcome and smile and wants to ensure that your stay is memorable. The hotel manager, Vassilis is very personable and friendly. The attention to details with central focus on the guests, makes this place feel cozy and warm. The sunset view is stunning every night. You are not far from dining and entertainment. The manager and the staff are equipped with the right information to suggest a great dining option, or where to shop. They clean and restock your room with fresh linen sheets and towels daily. I would definitely recommend this place. We will go back.

This is a wonderful property! Our hosts were very helpful with booking the room and also for restaurant recommendations. They accommodated our every desire! The room and view was even better than the photos. The location perched on a cliff at the highest point on the island provided breathtaking views and a quiet place away from the bustle of island visitors. We plan to stay again on our next visit to Santorini. Highly recommended!

The location is amazing and has all you need for great stay and base in Santorini - small market, great restaurants, and unparalleled views without all the chaos and crowds of Fira or Oia so you could soak in all of Santorini in the right ways. The view from our rooms and patio was spectacular. Sunsets here at highest point in Santorini are arguably better than Oia — and it’s hard to imagine much better than sitting on the patio with a glass of your favorite beverage watching the stillness of the Agean sea and its majestic sunsets. If want to do tourist things and lots of island, may want a car to get around.

Remezzo Villas looks out over the Caldera with stunning views. Staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. For me the only drawback was the number of steps down to the property but out bags were carried for us and again when we left. Breakfasts were very tasty and different everyday. We had enough to keep us going until dinner time! The surrounding area was very busy with cars and taxi's although it had a pharmacy, several very nice places to eat and souvenir shops. Rooms were spacious, clean and tended too every day.

My husband & I stayed 4 days at Remezzo and from the moment we arrived we were so impressed not just with the perfect location of the villa with magnificent views of the caldera, but with the fantastic level of service we received.
Christina pre arranged a private transfer taxi from the ferry port and on arrival, Vassilis took the time to provide a map of Santorini marking sites that may interest us and recommended restaurants. The property is in a perfect quiet location between the busy shopping area of Fira and the amazing trail that leads to Oia. Our suite was spacious with our own private terrace with not just a table and chairs but also 2 very comfortable lounge chairs. Each morning we were served a delicious 4 course breakfast, varied each day out on the upper terrace. The sunsets are perfect from this location . If visiting Santorini we highly recommend this property.

The stay was amazing! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the owner of the property, Vasili, personally paid attention and made sure that I had an excellent stay there. He spent no less than 30 minutes telling me in great detail about Santorini, pointing out nice restaurants, hikes, viewpoints, etc. He and Maria, an employee at the Villas, joined me as I stood watching the sunset. Maria was also very helpful and friendly, welcoming me to the hotel on my arrival.

The room was quite large and comfortable.

The breakfast was truly amazing and somewhat overwhelming since I am used to smaller breakfasts. Every day, there is a different breakfast and the specific breakfast for the day I stayed had so much variety.

The sunset is so easy to see from the property: it obviates the need to go to Oia, where everyone rushes to see it.

Definitely, if I return to Santorini, this will be the hotel where I hope to stay.

Thanks to the property owner and the various staff members for their friendliness, attention, care during the short stay.

We were lucky enough to stay in 2 of this boutique hotel's wonderful rooms during our 3-day magical stay - The Honeymoon Suite (with a private courtyard) and then we were upgraded to the Pool Suite (the finest views of the whole island are from this terrace, with it’s private pool/hottub). The kindness and generosity of the staff are unequaled - Vassilis, Antigone, Christine, Theodora and their support staff. Remezzo Villas is, truly, the best placed resort on the island for limitless views at sunset. If you are looking for a cozy, authentic, cave-like hotel room experience with the best views on the island, delicious 4 course breakfasts and the kindest staff, this is your place. We were not impressed with the crowds and the pretentiousness in Fira and Oia. Imerovigli never feels crowded. It really is the perfect place to be on the island! The village is steps away from the hotel and we were able to buy supplies for our sunset dinners on our private terraces. If I were to do it again, I would have asked Vassilis and Antigone for help in setting up dinner reservations prior to our arrival as they need to be made in advance – especially if one hopes to be there at sunset. I would also have taken Vassilis’ advice and stayed in Imerovigli for our celebratory meal. Remezzo Villas felt like a dream come true and it was the perfect place to stay on this magical island. I still dream about our stay there and hope to be able to return one day. It truly was a stay of a lifetime!

An amazing stay in Santorini! They gave us great suggestions for our trip and the breakfast was amazing every day. The hospitality is top notch. Sunset views are impressive from the hotel. Note that the studio room has a very small bathroom and it was difficult to keep the water inside the shower area. Other than the bathroom, we absolutely loved our stay. Location is great as well in between Fira and Oia especially great for those who like to walk/hike from one town to the other

What a fantastic experience! I loved this boutique hotel, well located with an extremely friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing, all made fresh just for you, and you have it with a unique sea view. Our room was the master suite which has 3 bedrooms and plenty of space. There are good amenities in the room, including free Nespresso. The jacuzzi in the bathroom wasn't working but that is fine as you have a very clean pool just in front of the room. I do recommend.

Everything about our stay was incredible! Someone just happened to see us as we were coming down the steps to help with our luggage, which was very appreciated because it was HOT. Christina checked us in and was extremely pleasant and gave great recommendations (welcome wine also helped ;), especially on a warm day). Andi was super sweet and breakfasts were amazing. Most impressive was that the staff seemed to know us by face and remember our situation and plans, even though our stay was very short.

Rooms were apartment style and very comfortable. I thought it was quite unique that they were built into the cliff. Overall, really chill hotel, very quiet and relaxing. I appreciated Imerovigli overall because it was much more serene and less hectic than either Fira or Oia.

I can't say enough about our stay at Remezzo Villas. Andie and Christina were wonderful - helpful, communicative and went above and beyond to make our visit to Santorini fun and comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. We loved staying in Imerovigli, it was beautiful and quiet but close enough to walk to Fira or take a short cab ride to Oia. The views from Remezzo are just incredible - no need to fight the crowds in Oia to watch the sunset when the view from your room is worth a million bucks. We would stay at Remezzo again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

What an amazing place to stay! Imerovigli was the perfect location for us - quieter than Fira and Oia (but totally depends on what you are after!). The villa was clean, spacious and just stunning. We had access to the pool and we could watch the sunset from our front doorstep. The breakfast was delicious and different each day. Eating breakfast with the view was the best. Our villa was cleaned twice a day - such great service! Christina was very helpful with recommendations and booking day trips for us (do the catamaran with Santorini Sailing!). We hired a car to explore other areas of the island e.g. Pyrgos. We also organised a private shuttle to/from the airport. Highly recommend - I'm getting holiday blues writing this review!

The personal service received from the owners, Vesselis and Christina, and the staff, Thanos and Andi was so special. The 4 course chef prepared breakfast each morning served on the veranda overlooking the caldera was amazing. The location is perfect in Imerovigli away from the busy tourist areas of Fira and Oia, yet easy to reach those parts of the island by public transportation or renting an ATV or car. Many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Remezzo Villas was fantastic! Our room was extra large and spotless. There was a great patio which overlooked the caldera and the employees were excellent. Christina made travel arrangements for us for our arrival and also for our return to the airport. We were given information on activities in the area as well has a list of recommended restaurants. When we decided where we wanted to eat, Christina and Vasillas made our reservations. Our table was always waiting for us and in a great location within the restaurants. The hotel is an old wine factory built into the hillside and still has some of the old wine making equipment on the property. It is family run and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Location is great and I would definitely stay there again when returning to Santorini.

Santorini with style and a touch of real Greece

The accommodations are on par with the best. The views are amazing and none better in all of Santorini. The property is situated outside of the Cruise ship crazy Fira so it is quite. Yet on 30 min walk you can be there.

The owner and team look to your need and always helpful. Great breakfast and very nice pool area. The perfect place to enjoy a private time and have a host that has a true love of Greece and shares it openly and with passion to all of his guests

Remezzo had wonderfully warm and welcoming staff, as well as a beautiful area for breakfast every morning. Views were splendid! The junior suite we stayed in was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Remezzo is a MUST stay Hotel

Our stay at Remezzo was simply amazing. The hotel itself is well maintained, impeccably clean, with the most amazing views and staff. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable and were very helpful in making sure we made the best use of our time on the island. Kristina made fantastic recommendations for restaurants and we were always treated to the best seats in the house each time we dined out.
The 4 course breakfast at the hotel is well worth the money, the food was delicious and fresh, the menu changed each day also.
Rooms were cleaned beautifully and turn down service was a fantastic touch ensuring your room always had fresh towels, rubbish was removed and everything was nice and tidy.
The pool area was attended to well during the day, ensuring there was always fresh beach towels available and that the pool surround was free of puddles of water.
All of the staff greeted you with a smile and were so accommodating and friendly, even the porters running up and down the stairs with heavy suitcases on their shoulders in the heat of the day.
There is absolutely nothing I can fault and we were very sad to leave Remezzo and Imerovigli, we look forward to coming back next summer.

Great Staff and Location

The front desk was very responsive to email. They arranged airport pick-up and drop-off for us (fee for car service) and helped with another issue I was having with my flight. At check-in, Vasilis walked us through an introduction to the island and its towns/attractions/activities and suggested some restaurants. The restaurants can get crowded but the front desk will call in a reservation for you if you ask.

The room was very spacious; we could leave both our suitcases open on the floor and easily walk around them. It was also clean and well kept. I'm fairly certain that the maids even folded my wife's clothes that she left about the room.

At first we thought that the hot tub was broken but we realized on the third night that the heat was on a timer of about 6pm-9pm because it was hot when we left for dinner but cold when we were about to get in afterwards. We were only able to use it one of our nights and because we planned our schedule around the timing of the heat. It would be nice to allow the guests to turn on the heat as desired or post/communicate the hot tub schedule and extend it a little later.

Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and the view from the tables was great. The wait staff were professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. They'll even make you Greek coffee upon request.

Imerovigli is a great location to stay. The town is pretty but not crowded like the more touristy Fira or Oia. There is also a great easy hike out to Skaros Rock.

Excellent hotel; we arrived at Remezzo early in the morning, way before the scheduled check in time. The staff were very accommodating, providing us with tea and pastries on the house. It was not necessary, but very much appreciated. We left our bags with them while we explored the area and had lunch. By the time we got back, our luggage was already in our room.

The room itself was beautiful and tidy, with a view overlooking the Mediterranean and the town of Oia to the north. While we went out for a hike room service cleaned up our room and even folded the clothing we left on the bed.

Christina really made our stay super enjoyable. She showed us all of Santorini’s points of interest on a map and arranged a rental car to be delivered to the nearest parking lot. She also arranged for transport to take us to the port for our ferry out of the island.

All in all, we would definitely stay at Remezzo again should we find ourselves in Santorini again.

Santorini Sunset!

This is, by far, the loveliest, hotel I have ever seen. Better than the Four Seasons! Simple, sophisticated, incredibly clean with a staff that is OUTSTANDING. I can't say enough about this setting. I would return in a minute. The breakfast is delectable, 5 courses of flavors that are beyond description. Make a reservation and ENJOY!

We really enjoyed our stay at Remezzo, it's at the far end of Imerovigli so the area is quiet and very pleasant. The car park is nearby, taxi's are not a problem and the bus stop is a short walk away - it's a very long walk along the Caldera pathway to Fira! Both Fira and Firostefani were so manic with hoards of people and noise that we were always so relieved to get back to \"our\" sanctuary!! We had a gorgeous Junior Suite opening up to the pool and views of the Caldera - heaven! The sleeper couch was made up for our teenage daughter to sleep on and the apartment was very spacious for the three of us. The pool was clean and cold and the grounds immaculate - we liked that there were olive trees and a pomegranate tree for shade around the pool. We stayed 4 nights and every morning the 5 course breakfast delighted and amazed us! Well done Remezzo - delicious every day. All the staff were amazing - they recommended and booked a sailing trip for us that we absolutely loved and were always on hand to help us in anyway. This is a fabulous boutique hotel at what we felt was a very reasonable price for a hotel with views of the Caldera and the famous sunsets!! We would definitely recommend Remezzo.

Just off the main throng of the block of cliff side hotels so this hotel has a lovely feeling of space - the rooms are not crammed together like some of the others. The views are incredible and the pool area just perfect. Walkable to restaurants ticks all the boxes

Leisure stay; first time in Santorini and its a good location for nice sunset view. Great service from hosts and staffs. Gourment breakfast. Great view from room and good wifi overall. Scenic walk to Fira but also nearby bus station. Fira bus station is a bit overwhelming with fair customers service but does its job and take you to most locations.

This hotel was beautiful and met all my expectations; from the delicious breakfast we had every morning, to the amazing customer service we received from the moment we arrived and all the way through. Hotel staff were also very helpful with assisting with transportation and excursions. Our room was always clean and replenished with towels and shower products. This hotel is in a perfect location! No complaints!! Everything was perfect!

Helpful staff, great location.

We stayed two nights here and found the staff very helpful in planning our excursions and organizing a car rental. We had a small cleanliness issue with the room when we got here but the staff quickly resolved it so no complaints there, they were clearly dedicated to making us happy. The room was nice and we were comfortable. The hotel pool was clean and refreshing.

One great thing is the location. Fira is so busy with tourists and cruise ship visitors I was happy to be somewhere less crazy with people. They are near restaurants and a small grocery store and also the walking path to Fira and Oia.

Would certainly stay here again. Great value.

Amazing view

We had the honeymoon double for 5 nights. I don't understand how some people complains about the size of the room or balcony. Room is perfect for 2 people and the balcony is huge.

Balcony is 95% isolated. When you are in the pool, you can see barely see people going up/down the stairs. There is a restaurant/pool beside the room, but like others said, the only way they can see the balcony is if they are in the corner of the restaurant standing up or if they are in the pool. (see photo).

View from the balcony is probably the best on the island. You can't get better than that.

Breakfast is included for the room and is seriously awesome. It is 5 course breakfast (usually bread, soup, eggs, a \"main\" course and fruits) done differently every day. I enjoyed all of it even thought normally I'm quite difficult.

The only negative thing about the room is that there was a problem with the cold water pressure in the shower. Even after telling the front desk 2 times, problem still persisted. Every 2 min, shower would get really hot for 3-5mins. I took maybe 12 showers total, and maybe 2 of them were fine. Usually, I take 5-10 min showers at home, but it took me 30 min every time. It was a little frustrating. I couldn't take a shower with my wife, because it really wasn't fun to wait for cold water every 2 mins. For a 300+ EUR room, it was really disappointing.

Remezzo, a hotel built into the cliff of caldera

The Remezzo is a multilevel facility built into the wall of the caldera with magnificent views of the blue sea and spectacular sunsets. The walking path from Fira to Oia goes right through the facility and allows one to have beautiful walks and easy access to many nearby excellent restaurants. Our suite was different, it was not a cookie-cutter design. It somewhat resembled a cave dug into the side of the mountain, it was very roomy and comfortable. There was a small outdoor patio which overlooked the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and well presented. The staff were absolutely fantastic and helpful. The personal attention we received was amazing. Their suggestions for touring the island were right on and they gave us great instructions on how to get to our destinations. We had a glitch in our travel plans (unrelated to the hotel) but their assistance in fixing things was very helpful.

Amazing!

Remezzo was the PERFECT choice for our stay on Santorini! We stayed with 4 adults and 1 toddler in a large (3 bedroom) suite and it was just gorgeous. Massive tub with jets, comfortable beds, wonderful service all around, and the prefect location in Imerovigli, right between Fira and Oia. The room did get a little noisy one night as there was a noisy group having late night drinks at the reception bar upstairs and the noise funneled straight down into our bedroom through the cave tunnels. Overall, not a problem but would have gotten old had it happened more than once. Otherwise, fantastic stay! Definitely recommended!
