Temperature of the room was on the cold side and upon requesting heat we were told how warm it is and why would we want any more heat? Breakfast was very small and every request given was denied. it includes one hard, boiled egg, toast, coffee, and a half glass of orange juice. Nothing more is included.

This property is in an area with very narrow unpaved lanes with loads of construction going on.. It was ok to stay the night there, but would not recommend it for a longer stay.

Whilst the accommodation does not face the caldera we still had a sea view (room 5) and it is a one minute walk to views over the caldera at a fraction of the price of other hotels.

Whilst not a big pool, it’s an added bonus to be able to have a dip and a cool off. We only used the sun loungers and pool area a couple of times but we hired a car, so were out and about during the days. On our day of departure we paid to keep our room on and we had retuned the hire car so the pool area came in useful then.
Breakfast is fairly simple with toast/cereal/fruit/juice/tea and coffee but adequate to start the day.
Imerovigli is perfectly situated. You still have good views over the caldera, plenty of good restaurants, an easy walk into Fira (30 minutes) with restaurants along the way but without the hustle and bustle of Fira so it feels very relaxed.
If you want luxury then book elsewhere but all in all, I would recommend the resort and Villa Libertad and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Apart from the stairs (which is likely a problem difficult to avoid in Santorini); the property is well positioned to offer privacy and basic amenities away from the hub-bub of \"the frenetically busy caldera side\"; yet is within walking distance of the village and its amenities and restaurants etc. etc.
It has great sea views of it's own (in the upper apartments), friendly and helpful staff, and a perfect breakfast (fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, toast toppings, pastries, coffee & juices etc.)
Some of the units have a private plunge pool, and the area around the big pool could be a bit more inviting with the use of sun shades... (perhaps we weren't there when the umbrellas were up).
I'd highly recommend, especially as it has parking, if you're inclined to have your own wheels. We didn't, merely using hired transport on a needs must basis; and I believe there is also a good bus system not far away.
The neighbourhood isn't perfectly tidy, but it does afford more privacy than the caldera side.

This is a very small hotels owned by a family. There are a few options to eat and a mini market within a two minute walk. The bus stop is also close by but the buses are unpredictable so we ended up taking a taxi everywhere. I would recommend renting a car if you are comfortable driving on the island. The breakfast was very simple but OK to get your day started. The room was clean and the cleaning service came every day. The pool is very small but clean. The owner speaks English and was helpful with recommendations and directions. His father is the one who is at the property all the time but speaks little English.

Panos went out of his way to accommodate my needs. Wonderful bed, very few steps to my room ( unlike friends at another hotel), wide variety of breakfast choices, loved walk in shower. I was late for departure and they made it possible to meet my group and get my flight home.

The hosts were amazing, humble and friendly. We left early in the morning - before breakfast was served - and the hosts brought us coffee, orange juice and a few pastries to our room just to get us through the morning. This was most appreciated. We felt at home!

Wonderful and very helpful hosts. Views are to east side of the island but the Caldera side is just a 2 minute walk up the street to the west. This will also lead to a walking path north to Oia or south to Thira that offer exceptional picturesque views. Property is 3 years new with beautiful decor, spacious bathrooms, quiet location, superbly comfortable beds and is spotless inside and out. If you’re not stuck on a Caldera view from your hotel then this property is a great value for your money.

The property is located in a very peaceful locality, yet not very far from from Santorini main town(Fira aprrox. 2kms). It is nearby some of the finest restaurants. Person at the reception(Panos) is very helpful. He is a superb human being. Gave us idea about Santorini, guided us on places to visit in Santorini and in Athens. Offered us ride to drop us to main town when we were getting late for the port. One of the nicest person I have met in hospitality industry. Also the omelette served in the breakfast is the finest omelette i ever had in my life. Every Staff of this property is very helpful.

It is a nice place to stay close to Caldera and Skaros Rock. Rooms are clean and equipped with a small fridge. They offer a free big bottle of water and the rest of drinks have a very reasonable price. Breakfast is ok, the only thing is that you find the same food every day. Nohing hot like eggs or any other kind of food you'd probably have for breakfast. Price is according to what you get considering Santorini is expensive.

Charming hosts, good location. Barking dog just next door is a nuisance. Breakfasts are very good - would be nice to have them start a little earlier as it is so busy on Santorini that doing anything takes time and getting an early start would be good. There are SO many tour busses on this small island that all interesting places are jammed with thousands of bus loads of people - not fun.

I have not one bad thing to say regarding our stay at Villa Libertad. Panos was amazing and did a great job at explaining what the best things to do on the island. He was also able to facilitate an ATV rental for my fiance and I and even escorted us to a dinner on a night we could not find a cab. Their hospitality was incredible and if we ever make it back to Santorini, we will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to stay for the views and the tranquility. Hotel is situated near the cliff top views over Santorini and is one bus stop away from Oia in one direction and Fira in the other. It is owned by a lovely family who are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was a decent start for the day, i filled up on the home made omelette and some toast to keep me going.

If you are visiting Santorini and want the best of the best at a reasonable price, this is your place. The hotel, pool, and entire grounds are beautiful. Location is ideal. Sunrise views are amazing, and only footsteps to the sunset views. This is the highest inhabited elevation on the island and very centrally located. Evenings are quieter, so if you are looking for nightlife, that might be the only reason you might want to look elsewhere. Delicious full complementary breakfast every morning. Here is the best part: this is a small family run hotel and your stay is their top priority. We absolutely loved it here. Hope to return again soon.

Great location for those who want a quieter stay but still close to things. Sea views from the hotel are of the east side of the island, and a very short walk (maybe 30 meters) to epic caldera views at sunset. Staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast is great, although it may be served late for some people (9-11 AM). Good wifi, with a router in each room. I would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely love this hotel. They were super nice and helpful. The hotel room was very comfortable. We did not have a view but the room itself compensated for that. The only negative would be breakfast. They could have a better variety but it was still acceptable. The location was great. We were in a good proximity to walk to sights or other transportation to see the island. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
