It was convenient to be by the airport for departure day..my complaints are the drainage in the tub during shower you had sitting water and the water pressure was so light felt like you were in there for hours just trying to rinse off.

Genuinely the worst stay I’ve had in years. First room had a large dead bug in the bed, second room didn’t have a working refrigerator and the curtains didn’t fully close despite being connected to the courtyard. The yelling (praying it was a coyote) from the woods near the courtyard was so loud and went on for literally several hours each night, we finally had to check out a night early just to get some sleep.

Not as convenient to airport as I thought. Shuttle was available but did not have Ramada written on it only 24hr shuttle, had to go ask driver if he went there, missed 2 shuttles because of this. Hotel is very dated, but well maintained. Has some very interesting art works. A great dining room for breakfast ( not included in room price) plus for dinner at night. Pool and gym, only used gym. Room large with fridge.

We were a quick overnight stay between flights. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly. It was close to the airport and shuttle service was good. Didn’t have time for breakfast, but ate dinner in the restaurant and it was good and a reasonable price.

The front desk person was very helpful. We forgot our toothbrush and toothpaste and she offered them to us. We had not eaten dinner and let us know the restaurant was open until 10 pm.

Truly, truly DO NOT stay here. I don’t leave these reviews ever but please listen to this one. You will not be happy. The only plus was the guy at the front desk was so kind and helpful but that doesn’t make up for everything else. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on the beds, we ended up actually leaving and sitting on a chair in the airport for hours which was better than here, there was hair on the beds that wasn't ours, nail polish and weird burns all over the desk, stains on the chair for the desk that we didn’t sit on because who knows what that even was, the smell when you walk in to this hotel is horrible it smells like poop. The bathroom was disgusting, toilet wouldn’t flush, hair in the shower drain blocking it, brown stains on the bathroom wall, didn’t feel safe staying here, bugs, little flies everywhere.

Wasn't there long 7 hours just needed a little rest. Checked in had late supper all good. Connecting room was very loud put towel on floor to muffle sound. Hotel was clean everything worked great. No breakfast had to be at airport by 3am.

The front desk clerk at check in was extremely rude. When she put us down for the shuttle to the airport she never asked how many people, I thought she was using the number of people in the room, come to find out she only put us down for 1 person taking the shuttle. Thank goodness the morning staff was able to get us all on even if it was a tight squeeze. We reserved a king suit with a sofa bed, however were put into a regular king room. When I inquired about it I was told it wasn’t her problem and the room I had booked was no longer available, no apology, no offer to change rooms, nothing just a rude I have customers in line behind you I need to get checked in comment over and over.
The day time staff was much more pleasant to interact with and they actually were willing to help with the shuttle mishap. The room was decent, the hotel it’s self was in ok condition considering its location, and we left to early to say anything about any other amenities the hotel had to offer.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The property is outdated and very dirty, and the elevator smells bad. The airport shuttle was over 20 minutes late, so I wouldn’t rely on it. The front desk staff was not welcoming and gave short, unhelpful responses. This hotel is only suitable for a short stay of a few hours.

I was frustrated with the transportation option being only one bus serving at least 4 hotels and how little space there was to transport guests to and from the airport, thus resulting in an expensive car share ride to the airport.

Called the front desk & waited an hour but no one came with a battery. Took the unit down to them so we could get some sleep before our 1:30am wakeup to make the airport shuttle.

The lobby was clean and nice. The halls and rooms, not so much. There needs to be some major updating and cleaning. Bathroom had hair from someone else on the floor, corners very dirty, random screws in the front of the sink/vanity, floor boards bowing and creaking, just overall not the best condition. When we arrived there was one person at the desk, and another family waiting to check in. We inquired if we could get in early and the employee replied \"You are going to have to give me some time, I have alllll these rooms to enter!\" and she continued doing whatever she was doing while making guests who were in front of her wait. Pool area was nice and it was clean. The snack corner had a nice selection of snacks and beverages for purchase. Plenty of parking. Airport shuttle does not come as fast as they say as we waited just shy of an hour at the airport when they told us it would be 30 min max. It is a shuttle that is shared by multiple hotels, so you might have to ride through multiple stops.

We were not able to stay for the breakfast so I have nothing to report about that. The Front desk ladies were super friendly and very helpful.
The hotel itself pretty much needs a complete overhaul. It is very outdated. The room was clean however. The hotel’s website makes the rooms look much nicer than they actually are. For the price you can’t ask for very much more.

The stay was fine. Room comfortable! Only drawback was the restaurant didn’t open until 6 Pm and it was the worst pizza I think I’ve ever had. It seemed like it came out of a box from the freezer.
Being an airport location - And We had to leave for the airport at 1:45am - the restaurant opening at 6 was a bit late.

I need to preface this with the fact that I am not a picky person. I am all for crashing in a hotel without all the bells and whistles if I can save a little money. However, this hotel was horrible. I called prior to arrival to request an airport shuttle at 3:30am. I was told it was not an issue and to let them know at check in. Well, we arrived at 9:30pm and there wasn’t anyone to check us in. Then once they did come to check us in, they stated the shuttle was booked at our requested time so we’d have to go an hour earlier…2:45am…with two small kids and an infant. Ok. Fine.
Next issue, I received a text message prior to arrival that said if I needed anything to respond to the text. I responded that I would need a crib. They replied that it wouldn’t be a problem. Upon arrival, I asked for the crib and was told they’d bring it up. We took our three kids to our room. On our way, a massive cockroach ran across the hall. Gross.
By 10:30 we still hadn’t received the crib. Mind you I have to get up at 2:15. I called down and they said they were busy. I explained that I can’t go to bed until we get the crib. They said they’d send it up.
They sent up a rollaway bed and said sorry we don’t have any cribs. What?!?!

I absolutely will never stay at another Ramada in my life.

This Ramada Inn has to be one of the best out of the franchise! The lobby was huge, it’s such a beautiful hotel with great amenities. Lui was such a delightful bartender, and I was very very impressed by the chef in the hotel’s restaurant! The food was amazing! Priced great! I will stay at this place every time i’m in Houston.

We were hung up on twice calling for the shuttle, our room had bugs, live and dead all over the room and bathrooms, we were given a new room however it was a king size bed when I originally booked 2 queens as there were 3 of us. We were offered a roll out however we had to go get it do to staffing levels. We paid for a late check out and were kicked out of our room. Would not recommend this place.

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want free shuttle busses. ” 24 hrs “ from airport to hotel

I’ve had a couple of incidents happen at this hotel first off the first night. My key card was deactivated to my room. I was calling the hotel staff at the front desk took them about 15 minutes to even answer me, and then despite me having multiple bags and very tired forced me to come up to the front desk to get another key, then the next day, the cleaning staff cleaned my room, but left me with no washcloths and the front desk after another 10 minute wait hold refused to bring me another washcloth there was some weird white stuff in the toilet the other entrance doors are not secure. They are all unlocked. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. I see why it was so cheap.

The room itself seemed clean, but the hallways are in serious need of updating. The check-in process was smooth since I completed everything online ahead of time. However, I did request a first-floor room due to my husband being disabled, and that request was ignored.

The next morning when I went to the front desk with a few questions, the man working seemed very disengaged. He was sitting with the computer screen just inches from his face and acted like it was a major inconvenience to pull away for a moment to help me.

Lastly, if you’re expecting a free hot continental breakfast, this is not the place. Breakfast — even just coffee — costs $8. Unfortunately, because of these issues, my family and I won’t be staying here again when we come to visit family.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Ramada by Wyndham Houston Intercontinental Airport.

I accidentally booked this location thinking it was near the airport I was flying out of, but I was actually departing from William P. Hobby Airport, not George Bush Intercontinental Airport. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com multiple times to request a cancellation.

Despite explaining that it was an honest mistake and reaching out right away, they refused to approve the cancellation or provide a refund. There was no flexibility, no understanding, and no willingness to help resolve the situation.

I understand policies exist, but customer service should also involve compassion and reasonable discretion, especially when a guest reaches out immediately. This experience left me feeling frustrated and unheard.

I would strongly encourage future travelers to double-check airport locations before booking — and to be aware that in situations like mine, there may be no flexibility or support.
