All 3 pools were beautiful, I loved the surrounding landscape. The two bedroom / 2.5 bath villa was wonderful. I loved sitting on the villas deck each morning to drink my coffee and enjoy the palm tree ocean view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals! I would definitely recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Tranquility Bay Resort in Marathon, Florida! This was the perfect place for a family getaway. The property is absolutely beautiful — the charming white buildings give it such a clean, coastal feel and everything is so well maintained.

Unit needs work. Put us at the end of the resort probably bc I booked thru a third party(Expedia). Smell of sewage prob seaweed. High price food and drinks at beach bar. Tractor on beach in middle of day removing seaweed for 5 day in a row. They allow a tractor noise but no music allowed. .

Absolutely not worth the high price with added “Resort Fees” - what resort?? Beds comfortable but the room was fraying at the edges & smelt strongly of disinfectant. The access bands were tricky to operate and we were locked out of our room before checkout time. Our room was in the 2nd floor with an inoperable elevator. Uncaring and dismissive staff together with the lockout took the rating from a 3 to a 2. I cannot understand the ratings your site gave this place and it makes me distrustful of you as a site. This place was worse than a cheap motel - at least then you know what you’re getting into. This place was a huge disappointment.

We didn’t realize the room we were given was going to have so many stairs, and I recently had knee surgery. After seeing this, we requested a first floor room. The only one they said was available had no outdoor space and was right next to a children’s pool. Is this because they only designate certain rooms for Hotels.com? The resort was so large and so many rooms looked empty.

The issue was that we paid over 600 for one night. Checked in around 5pm and pools were already closed by 6pm. Woke up the next morning with hopes of using pools prior to departure and find out our bracelets had already been deactivated prior to check out time. So called “beach area” seemed small and dirty. Did not eat at the resort. There are lots of choices outside the resort. The property is beautiful and under constant care. We had a septic smell the first night that actually made my throat hurt but this was gone the next day. The shower pressure is terrible and could benefit from new shower heads. (recommend Drivse). Could use some entertainment. Live band or DJ. This is a beautiful resort and perfect for families. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath room.

There were issues with both toilets, albeit minor and we had a strange visitor who dropped off 24 waters to our unit the morning we were checking out. We didn't receive any water on check in and I don't know why he felt the need to bring these to the room 3 hours before checkout time, he wasnt able to answer us when we asked him!
Amenities needing upgrades too. The beach volleyball is deflated, I asked for another but it didn't materialise. The beach was unusable, the biggest selling aspect of the resort for us (and prime pics on the website) so until the beach is usable I felt a bit cheated!

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful stay I recently had at Tranquility Bay. Everything was excellent — the place, the atmosphere, and the service truly exceeded my expectations.
I just wanted to share a small suggestion: in the back area, between the house and the pool, there’s a grassy section where it might be nice and more comfortable to have a little pathway. It would make walking to the pool easier, especially for guests who are barefoot or with children.
Thank you again for such an unforgettable experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!

It was so quiet, serene and peaceful. The pools were warm. The swimming beach was groomed every morning & beautifully maintained. The service and food at the tiki bar were excellent. Otis at the front desk was awesome from the moment we arrived. Zero complaints and will definitely return!

Bring earplugs, deep woods off, activated charcoal & tums! This was our second stay and our last. We were eaten alive by mosquitos, got food poisoning from the restaurant, put up with rude people who had multiple families staying in one condo smoking Cuban cigars and drinking all night while children ran around screaming after midnight. The dishes in the condo had dried food on them, staff did not speak a word of English so our condo wasn’t serviced, the floors were covered in dirt & sand with ants attacking all our food and the exterior shower curtain looked like it should be placed in a hazmat bag! Only bright spot was the daytime bartender at TJ’s Tiki Hut.

Property was clean, beds comfortable, nice amenities. Beach is scenic, main pool area is well maintained. We had a great stay and would return here. However, one comment to make is that the restaurants onsite were extremely way overpriced. For example, I ordered 3 frozen drinks at the Tiki bar (2 virgin, 1 alcoholic) - it cost $50, including 18% gratuity automatically added (never before have I spent that much on Pina coladas!). I imagine that's why the bar was empty the majority of the time, as was the main restaurant on site.

Be aware that there is $65.00 daily resort fee, plus 18% gratuity on anything you order. Nice pools, private beach, very clean and beautiful resort. Our room was clean and super spacious (4 balconies) super comfortable beds. Customer service wasn’t the best. It was difficult to communicate with front desk as they would pick up and quickly hang up the phone. Bar tender at the tiki beach bar was rude and unwelcoming, drinks were expensive and horribly made. There is no lost and found, my son if you loose something you need to fill out a request online on their web site and takes 2 days for them to review it. Most of the guest that stay here do not live at the FL keys and are not coming back here just to recover a pair of sandals. Front desk staff refuses to check in their lost and found. Overall this is a very nice resort but it would be even better if they had friendlier staff working here.

I did enjoy how nice it was to walk out of the villa and get the pool. However all the fans in the rooms need attention. They are so loud. Also, the villa had a lot of cracked tiles.

Beautiful place to take a break and relax. Once you open the doors to enter, the first thing that catches you is the clean smell and then the calm and pleasant atmosphere of the place makes you fall in love. The large, bright, and spacious rooms, with balconies and wonderful views, remind you why you need to be there. The only thing I regret is that I left the place, forgetting to but the salts they offered. On my next visit, I would do it in advance so as not to forget.
