We loved our stay at Las Terrazas! The staff were wonderful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom Garden View Condo. Our group was 4 adults and 3 children and the staff easily accommodated the extra person. The condo was quite large so we had lots of space. Our kids loved the pool. There were lots of restaurants around the resort, along with a grocery store close by. We ate at the resort restaurant once, and it was delicious. The proximity to Secret Beach was perfect! We loved that beach and how close we were to it when compared to other resorts. There are busy parts of Secret Beach but we found a quiet place to go and it was amazing. The resort offered a shuttle to San Pedro but we rented golf carts to get around. We booked our snorkeling tour through the resort and the boat came to pick us up at the dock of the resort. So easy!
Overall, we had such a great time and would definitely go back to this resort.

The good- breakfast excellent. Servers very nice especially Beverley. Pool area pretty and clean. The not so good- we had to ask several times to get our room cleaned, it wasnt automatic and one day they just left 2 bottles of water by the dood, no service (also no DND signs) Our room was on an end and the back outdoor space was basically shared with staff cleaning things and handling recycling so it was not private at all and it was noisey. The AC units were so incredibly loud we couldn't use it at night. Weve been to belize 5 times and this was very disappointing. Also, i wouldn't stay here if you want quiet, it was overrun with screaming kids all day- we couldn't us the pool because it was too crowded.

Loved our stay! Gorgeous grounds and the room was super spacious and comfy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the included breakfast - everything was delicious. Get a massage on the beach!
Only downside was the seagrass on the beach/in the water, but that’s an issue on that whole side of the island, and the resort did their best to take care of it.

Felt very safe , when I woke up for the early sunrise on sea front . Very private and relaxed feel. Food and cocktails were delicious.. Had a very pleasant stay with my family. Definitely a place we would stay again.

-Master toilet didn't flush. Maintenance came up 4 times to fix it. We finally got it working for a couple days on our own, then it broke again. So 6 people had to share one toilet most of the trip.
-Pink mold in both bathrooms
-Housekeeping was friendly and seemed to clean well, but only made half the beds each time they were in.
- When we arrived, the room was not stocked. Front desk was closed by the time we figured this out, so they brought things the next morning
-Booked transfers through the concierge. We chose to upgrade to arrive by boat, which was a little more expensive. When we arrived we were told it was too late to take the boat in so had to take the van. Concierge knew our arrival times when they booked this for us. Their solution was to take us out by boat when we left, but we were disappointed.
- The tub in the master is a plain small bathtub. Not the jacuzzi tub they show in pictures.
- The plunge pool is tired and old
-We had a special birthday dinner on the beach. Manager interrupted to let us know they had undercharged one person $10 at the pool the prior day and demanded payment. Ruined the occasion.
- Rooftop bar was not open the entire time. Pool bar was only open one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Las Terrazas Resort! From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a complimentary beverage, we felt relaxed and welcomed. Hector was absolutely wonderful — attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed.
The suites were spacious and beautiful, the food was excellent, and the beach massage was truly a highlight — so relaxing with the sound of the ocean in the background. We also loved using the kayaks and Hobie; such a fun way to enjoy the water. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

Our 15 th Anniversary Girls Trip was one of our best the resort was beautiful and comfortable. The room had 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms and a laundry . The property provided laundry pods and bottled water daily. The beds were extremely comfortables. They were doing work on the property so we didn’t have access to the beach. The reservation staff especially Joel and the young ladies were very helpful helping us to change our flight reservations, giving us directions and providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Our room came with daily breakfast which was superb a variety of choices the resting manager and server Carla treated us like family and remembered what each of the four us wanted everyday. Stuart the bartender provided us with great drinks and great conversation and service. We can’t wait to return to Las Terazzas

The resort was amazing! It was so clean, relaxing and had some spectacular staff. The food was delicious and we made sure we were at breakfast every morning. The amenities included things that we did not expect, a washer and dryer a beautiful beach, and the swimming pool was so very beautiful. I must say, the staff exceeded our expectations....especially Stewart Steve, Karla, Joel, and Edgar. Each of them had unique personalities and kindness that made lasting impressions. I will definitely return one day soon❤️.

Starting with our fabulous welcome from Raquel.. then Jafet the” prophet” with morning welcomes, Karla and Stewie’s attentiveness to our poolside needs, Joel with all the conversation, Belize knowledge and laughs, Tony’s great dining service and finally Joe’s fabulous bar drinks!!! I don’t remember all the staff names but shout outs to their hospitality as well!! Our rooms were clean and updated, the property was nice and well maintained. Special thanks to the birthday decor in our room on arrival! If I had to make suggestions that could make my review 6 stars I’d recommend maybe vegetation or several citronella burners throughout to grounds to help with the abundance of sand flies! With such a beautiful quaint property the addition of a Hot tub would be marvelous! Great, sitting out evenings conversing and listening to soft music! As far as the rooms.. although the second room maybe for kids, it is also for adult groups and a TV in room should be included, the furnishings were great except for the worn couch that we could not sit on without sliding forward and the front door should have a single blind on it with side blinds or curtains the metal door closer prevents the curtains from properly closing. To include a full kitchen there should be adequate supply of cooking utensils such as baking ware. Overall the property is wonderful, clean and great staff and You better Belize I would definitely consider returning for another wonderful week in Belize!

We just returned from our first trip to Belize and are already daydreaming about a trip back. The resort was clean and the rooms were large. The staff was so friendly and helpful. What a great experience. I called ahead of time and they helped us coordinate ferries and transports to the hotel. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for your stay. The hotel is a smidge off the beaten path, but accessible to everything by golf cart. Everything is very close. Restaurant and bar were nice, staff was super friendly! Highly recommend Las Terrazas!!

The property was Beautiful and clean, but you can’t hardly breathe with that smell and you can’t sit out on the beach due to the smelly seaweed. When we arrived we were not greeted properly and our room wasn’t ready. No info about the services or phone extension for kitchen was given . But we enjoyed ourselves regardless.

The place was beautiful, very modern and i love our condo. The designs and landscaping was beautiful and all the personnel were very nice. However, I had a very bad experience with mosquitoes. It was so bad ( day and night) they were out there all the time ready to bite the crap out of you. Unfortunately, I have an allergy with bugs bite and the skin swell. We also have a problem with the decaying odor of the sargassum algae. The rotten smell or sulfur odor that was all over the resort.and in our rooms. I am sorry, I know this is an environmental issue but it's so awful that made our stay very uncomfortable.
With regards to the foods served in the restaurant, the breakfast was great, the drinks but the dinner was lacking or inadequate. We ordered pasta for our last night dinner, there were no garlic bread nor side salad that were served and the price was a little bit too high.

They were great. Helped us with any question even found me laundry detergent. Breakfast was good. We were able to order the night before so we could eat right at 7am when they oepned in the day we left. We arrived several hours early and were able to access our unit within 20 minutes of arrival. The only complaint was the unit was missing blinds on a back window and on the front door. The front door was tinted but at night with the light on, everyone could see in.

Hospitality at it's finest!
I was blown away by their responsiveness. Nelson helped book our transfers from BZE to San Pedro as well l as an excursion before arriving. If you're considering if you should pay the transfer, let me tell you it's worth it. I was able to pay everything ahead of time and was sent instructions on how to proceed when I landed. A driver was waiting for us in San Pedro that took us to the pier where their speed boat was waiting. Jafa handled our luggage like a pro and we only had to worry about getting on the boat . A quick 10 minutes later we arrived to Las Terrazas where we were welcomed with rum punch and cooling towel. Again Jafa took our bags up to the 3rd floor so I could focus on a quick tour of the amenities and detailed instructions for our excursion the next day. That night we had dinner on site. We met Stewart/Peter the best bartender that makes the best Piña Coladas. Steve the restaurant manager who went above and beyond to help us try to figure out how to get us some breakfast before leaving on the excursion and helped my sisters surprise me with a spa day. I received the most amazing massage from Sarah that was when I truly started relaxing. Most of the staff did everything in their power to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The only cons were out of their control. Like the smell from the tons of sea weed that accumulated on shore, some of the fixtures inside the unit are oxidized due to sea breeze and all the mosquitos even though they burned repellant.

It was the worst place I’ve stayed in 51 years of life. Ants all over every floor as soon as we entered the “just cleaned” rooms. Rooms flooded each night from windows and doors. Roof top Bar broken not useable. Pre paid beach dinner not available beach was too covered with Seaweed. Everything was dirty old even caution tape on steps

I did not like the food at the hotel restaurant. The ocean was full of sargassum (algae) which produced a pungent egg-like odor. The hotel did not do a good job of removing the sargassum which made it impossible to enjoy the beach. The room had a roach. We had to ask for towels and wash cloths two days in a row. We had to ask for toilet paper. Typically these things are replenished when the room is cleaned. And it didn’t appear that the hotel did anything to deter mosquitos. As soon as we opened our door, we. Were met with a plethora of mosquitos.

We had a lovely stay at the resort. The staff is very attentive, the grounds are immaculate. There were problems with sargasso while we were there, but the staff does a great job keeping up with it. We saw a coatimundi while there! The staff arranged a day out with a boat and we had a blast seeing the reefs with Jason. Steve was awesome and super kind to my daughter who is gluten free.I will definitely be back.

On arrival to the property we were greeted at the front, our bags were grabbed and we were welcomed with a cocktails and five minute massage. We had a “luxury penthouse” though the rooms were nice we had minor issues with the shower not working, they solved the issue by the next morning. We had our own balcony plunge pool which was a nice touch. Pool was very enjoyable, staff constantly checking if you need food or drinks, and will deliver directly to you. We had an issue with our first golf cart rental and was corrected by the morning. (Town is decently far from the hotel definitely recommend the golf cart). The food and drinks we had on property were good.

The pool and restaurant facilities were excellent. The room was spacious and immaculate. They only issue was the beach was not accessible due to the amount of sea grass that washed up on shore. This issue was not limited to this resort. ALL of the resorts on the east side of the island had this issue. The pictures of the resort show a pristine beach and I'm sure depending on the season that is the case. We were told that the sea grass was worse than most years. It gives off a terrible odor as it ferments in the warm humid climate. We did rent a golf cart (necessary) and traveled to the other side of the island. Those beaches were gorgeous and a lot of fun. We would definitely return.

The property was largely what we expected. The food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations- it was very good. The pool area was also very good. Rooms were very nice. A few ants and bugs, but I guess to be expected in the jungle. We were not expecting the sargassum to be as bad as it was on the beach - not the fault of the resort - it was a big problem throughout the windward side of the island and did have a strong odor. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Convenient to secret beach and reasonably convenient to other nice restaurants. Loved the complementary Hobbie Cat - had a great time on it. Thank you Joffet!

Roaches ! Roaches ! Checked in on my first night and had roaches in the kitchen. Called front desk to notify. Said they can’t accommodate me because my stay of 7 nights was too long and they had no other room’s available. They said they would notify manger and he would get back to me, and they would send someone to spray. Manager never called to follow up, and no one came to spray . Also didn’t have hot water in my room for the first 3 nights. I called and no one showed up to fix it till the 4th night . Then the next day hot water was gone had to call again. Sat by the pool with family. We ordered food it took an hour for nuggets and fries to come . A family of 6 sat down 30 minutes after us and received their food first. I asked a server they said it wasn’t my order follow up with who placed your order. I had to go to kitchen and complain and ask why my food was taking so long. All they said was it’s coming . The staff and hotel cater to a certain demographic over others. Even though we all pay the same price. I had family members staying in a three bedroom penthouse and they also had no water . The personal jacuzzi in the room doesn’t work. It’s basically a mini pool. They also complained and nothing was done. They did a horrible job of cleaning rooms. The staff never came . My room was only cleaned 3 days out of the 7 nights . I had to call every morning and request service and when we would return to our room nothing was cleaned. No clean towels . We basically had to beg.

Lovely property- great pool- was located on the beach but we couldn't access the ocean due to the sargassum. Staff was nice. Restaurant was expensive but food was good, not great. Housekeeping didn't come til 4pm which wasn't ideal. Fishing poles were available but no weights and the poles weren't really in good enough shape to catch anything. Not sure I'd stay here again- I'd probably venture out and try something else- maybe something closer to San Pedro.

Las Terrazas is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay. The beach and pool are both lovely, and we had no problem getting chairs. They cleaned the sea grass off the beach at least daily (sometimes more than once per day) if it was blowing in, which is essential some days. We enjoyed the complementary kayaks and paddle boards. The food in the restaurant was also good and the condo was clean and pleasant. My only complaint was that the living room furniture was a bit worn and uncomfortable, but we didn't spend much time there. Also, the areas outside the resort are not nice, but the resort obviously can't control that and we always felt perfectly safe. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay for a very reasonable price!

Be warned. First, staff is great and super friendly. Breakfast and pool area are nice. The warning is the property is very worn. Lock broken on the unit and maintenance did not fix (literally couldn't lock the room when out) broken refrigerator and freezer, no hot water. Worn out everything. Staff moved my room which was nice and better(ish) view but significant problems persisted. Bottom line fine if it's all that's available but set your expectations!

The resort is nice but I would not stay here again due to a 24 hour loud piercing noise coming from the generator that made it impossible to sleep. The sound could be heard throughout the property, but it was especially loud because our room was near the generator. Given the rate of the resort, this issue should have been disclosed. Our stay was amazing!! From the friendly welcome at check in to the wonder customer service at check out. Premises was clean and neat, rooms were cleaned and replenished everyday. Workers were very helpful and friendly. Had kids: 3&6 yo and I would say this place is kid friendly for the most part. I think this place is amazing for all but especially girls trip or couple getaway.
I only had one hiccup: they left the sliding door open after cleaning and our room was muggy and bugs welcomed themselves in. That was resolved itself after a day, though.

The bathroom door didn't shut in the master, and there were roaches in the master suite. I also wasn't super excited that we were only allowed one tide pod per day. Also, someone must have used bleach in the washing machine before we got there because it tie-died my first load of laundry.

It was very peaceful and quiet. We had breakfast every morning at one of the outdoor covered tables by the pool and the servers were wonderful and friendly (thanks Wendy!) The pool area had plenty of seating and was quiet- Stewart provided fabulous drinks and tasteful music. If you have a chance, try their spa for a massage. Both Sarah and Amanda are skilled technicians, you won’t get a better deep tissue massage. In addition to breakfast, the restaurant also offers fine cuisine dinners and casual lunches. The rooms were spacious (three bedroom and two back rooms, large living room, large patio). The property is not large but acts like it is. We would definitely recommend.

Our week long stay at Las Terrazas resort was truly wonderful. Our room was clean and with amenities. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and helpful. The O restaurant on the property is a hidden gem. We tried much of the menu and every dish was spectacular and really delish. The location is a quiet oasis. The white sand beach is right outside your doorstep. The staff can arrange any reservations or excursions you like. The massages were also first class. We will be returning and hope to make this an annual trip.

It was also through talking to the front seat that I found out it was a known problem that they were fully aware of. The circuit breaker would trip when the hot water was turned on. So they kept us in a room knowing there was an electrical fault.
