Fantastic location and beautiful resort-style accommodation! The pool was perfect everytime we got in and the grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed a picnic on the ‘beach’ part of the resort along the river and it was one of our favourite afternoons of the trip. Highly recommend Culgoa Point Beach Resort!

Room was good with nice views over the marina and close to the pool/gym/sauna complex. The bed was 6/10 - ok, but a bit overused. Room was generally clean, although there were bits that hadn’t been - skirting boards for example. Location was great - 15 minute walk from Noosa Beach and Hastings St and 1 minute from nice cafes and restaurants.
Frustrating things were that there was no basic cooking stuff (salt & pepper, cooking oil) and only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 sachets of dishwasher powder, even though we were staying a week (apparently you get that for 3 nights regardless, but if you’re staying longer you have to buy additional stuff yourself - there’s no rate discount though).
Facilities were really good - pool, gym, pickleball court).
Staff were good when they were there - this is not a hotel, so staff hours are limited (if you have a problem after hours, there’s no support).
We would come back, as the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Great but run down

The view was amazing but the apartment was very run down and seemed quite dirty. The bathrooms and kitchen were not clean. The beds were quite uncomfortable as well. The access to the facilities was excellent.

Nestled away from all the main roads and on the water, it provided a quiet and picturesque setting, perfect and what I was looking for.

Close enough to both Noosa heads and Noosaville, both walkable as well as Noosa National Park. Brilliant.

The room was very clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. Ample parking and quiet.

Only negative was the TV remote and the TV in the room didnt work properly, but hey......it encouraged m to head out and explore.

I would recommend this place.

I was surprised that highly rated property like this will have a very avarage or even below average cleaning before check in. Bathrooms were not cleaned properly and toilet had dirty rims,and the shower was really sticky. Its all really simple but the cleaning wasn't done properly. Highlighted this to management from the moment we got in but guess what? Nothing happened.

Could do with some maintenance on sliding doors , and some areas showing signs of wear . Would definitely recommend .

We enjoyed our week at Culgoa Point. The views from the unit were excellent and we loved being on the river. The pool was great, walking distance to Hastings street and several restaurants was also good.

Had a lovely stay with 2 young’s kids. They loved the pool, watching the ducks and playing in the sand along the water.
We had a 2bedroom 2 bathroom appartment and it was lovely. Clean, beautiful views and just what we needed for a weekend away. We will be back.

We had our whole family with us, adult children and grandchildren, so the grassed areas and both the undercover and outdoor BBQ areas were used everyday. As were the pool, spa and gym. Had a fun afternoon on the pickleball court too. Everyday we were able to walk or jog down to Hastings Street or the National Park. The apartments were well equipped and very comfortable. We’ll be back!

We were upgraded to a beach front view .The view and location was fantastic.The staff were friendly and helpful.The swimming pool was nice and warm and is a great lap pool .The bathroom was very small we only had a bathroom that was adjoining the bedroom.Apart from that we had the best time.

Overpriced, dated with little privacy

Booked as a Gold member that was supposed to include $60 resort credit and a free upgrade if available. Upon check in, we were given a voucher for 2 free pool towel hire and two 1 hour kayak hire. Apparently that is worth $60. No choice in what we could use it for and what kind of resort doesn’t provide towels for the pool anymore? We were also told that they only offer the vouchers or the upgrade, not both. They said they were fully booked but the carpark remained 1/3 full and there were rooms available online.

The rooms are very dated and don't match the pictures. The marina view is not like the picture at all and sad to look at plus everyone can look into each others rooms. We couldn't open the blinds without having all of the other rooms look straight in, ground floor and upstairs. The bathroom was tiny, no bath like they advertised and they threaten to charge you if you don't remove your rubbish but don't clearly mark where there are bins.

I emailed saying we were there for our honeymoon and if they had any suggestions for sites or restaurants to visit and never got a response. The only nice bit is the pool and front reception. They need to spend some money on the rest of it because it is overpriced for what you get.

Great spot to stay away from the bustle of Hastings Street but within distance. Good amenities. Office is only open standard business hours so best to plan what you want to do early as bookings need to be made.

Beautiful resort with nice pool area and unit was spacious, comfortable, clean and modern. Great amenities for cooking and eating in. You can also rent kayaks and SUP on the property but beware on a windy day with rough waves it’s very hard!

Bathroom needs reconsideration

Quite disappointed with unit. Stayed for one week. En suite bathroom next to bedroom extremely small and inconveniently placed. This bathroom spoilt our stay at a very good location. Unit was supposed to be renovated, but couch old and stained. The main bathroom to our unit was locked. if it had been available to use for the week, our stay would have been much more pleasant.

Unfortunately the initial room we were allocated had an issue with the plumbing in the ensuite, however after 2 calls to the reception desk we given the choice of moving. The room we stayed in after the second night was perfectly positioned with a view over the river. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The resort is positioned in a perfect location with a 15 minute walk to Hastings Street and the beach or a 15 minute walk in the opposite direct to Noosaville and a great selection of restaurants.
Will definitely recommend the resort and stay here again.

We had previously stayed in a premium unit and found it to be a good experience as a young family. This time I paid additional for the loft style apartment, thinking it would be better. When we arrived, the loft was no where near as nice as the images online, dated, damaged and dirty walls with thick dust everywhere and just didn't feel clean to have a young child staying in. When I complained I was offered to swap with a ground floor, non-renovated unit as the best option, which I took as it was slightly better than the loft. There was no compensation offered for the bad experience or a refund of the price difference that I had paid. There was no consideration that I qualified for a 'room upgrade' and was never told about the '$60 resort credit' that I later found out about. The rooms aren't serviced, that's fine, but you would expect to find them in an acceptable condition given the strict cleaning rules on departure. The carpets were filthy, I would not want my child to play on them. On top of all of this, I asked for some pool towels, and was told I would be charged additionally for them. The experience was not great. The photos are so misleading between what you pay versus what you get (and these are the same photos used between Expedia and their own website). Will not be returning and I hope this review helps inform families with young children about whether this is the right accommodation for them as their is an abundance of options in the area.

This property has a primary location. Very close although not quite walking distance to Hastings street. The unit was very clean and large. It has large clean swimming pool and gym.
Amenities were disappointing. There were no room service. There was a pair of towels in different sizes provided. When we call the reception yo request extra towels we were told there would be 5$ extra charge. Also check-out instructions were to empty the bin an wash the dishes before leaving yo avoid extra charges. For a property in this price range this is way below expectations.

The resort is amazing!
I stayed in a one bedroom apartment on level 1. The views are stunning and a true delight every time you walk in. Good size and quality of everything but the bathroom was tiny and would be extra tight for two!
The whole resort has a lovely holiday feel and the pool area is gorgeous. The coffee lounge is a real treat.
The SUPs and kayaks for hire are a great way to spend the morning on the water.
The gym was a bit stinky but apart from that - 5 stars from me!

We stayed in number 33 with a Marina view and the apartment was fantastic. Extremely comfortable and the large kitchen had everything you needed and more.
The Decor was excellent. The Cleanliness was amazing.
All the staff are friendly. Great size TV with Foxtel.
The Marina is only small but it is always nice to look at water. A local takeaway, convenance store and a few restaurants at the end of the short road.
A very easy flat walk to Hastings Street.
Dan Murphy's and Woolworths are only a 5 minute drive away.
Plenty of BBQ's around the property with casual seating and even coffee making facilities.
Overall - Excellent!

Great location and lovely views from our loft apartment. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped and the entire complex was lovely. There was a little bit of wear and tear in the apartment; the doors were a bit clumsy and the bathroom curtains broken. Also the toilet paper provided was so flimsy that we ended up buying our own as it was unusable. They have kayaks and SUPs for rent which was a great.

On first impression the culgoa looks lovely but very deceiving the new facelift it has had on entrance pool area etc is very nice actually I would put it at 5 star on this alone then the accomodation is tired old looking not just outside but inside too very dissapointed .. location though is great close enough to walk to Gympie terrace and Hastings street if you enjoy walking ...pool and gym fantastic can’t fault ... view from apartment down the water being able to watch boats go by again can’t fault.. so overall ok just wish accomodation was in better shape and inside of units matched first impression of complex .. would also benefit from new cleaners as they were not cleaned well .. could just be the unit we were given but not good enough ..

When we requested the towels next day, we did not receive any apologies for the inconvenience caused. Toilet seat was old, discoloured. Depends on which apartment you get.

Having stayed at Culgoa point a few years ago, we booked again as we enjoyed our last visit. We had a different apartment this time and did not find it as good.
The good points about the resort are. The pool area and reception have been renovated giving it a fresh modern look. The river is right outside the apartment, with great views, especially during the sunset. On site hire of Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards. Only a few minutes from Hastings Street, Gympie Terrace and Noosa Junction.

Having booked a ‘Premium Beachside Room’ we were left quite disappointed with the apartment.
The bed was uncomfortable, the blinds in the windows do nothing to stop the light coming in. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was too noisey to have on when trying to get to sleep.
The bathrooms were old and had broken fittings, mould on the ceiling, the shower heads needed to be cleaned as they were clogged and let out barely more than a dribble of water.
Dishwasher leaked water everywhere the first time we used it.
The overall condition and cleanliness of the apartment is not what I would expect for what is advertised as 4 star resort, when paying $300+ / night.

We love Noosa and will definitely visit again. But we will not stay at Culgoa Point Beach Resort.

We loved our apartment which was in a quiet area of the resort as per our request. We loved the friendly management team and the staff in the resort who were most helpful. The swimming pool and private beach are beautiful. Surrounded by water and great views the resort offers all the amenities we could have wished for. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with lovely Marina views. Location is within 20-25 minutes walking distance to Hastings Street and the beach. It is also conveniently situated 25 minutes walk to Noosa river front with its beautiful restaurants and cafes. Covered parking inside the resort.

The location was amazing. We had a garden 2 bed apartment which was nice. Next time I would spend the money on a waterfront apartment as the rooms were straight in front of the river and the location was amazing. There were lots of BBQ’s out the front near the river to enjoy the beautiful sunset. We hired paddle boards and kayaks from the hotel which was so quick and easy to enjoy the river. Definitely be back.

Staff are amazing, went out of their way to make our stay great, including waving fees for kayak rental and beach towels.
The property is superb with a heated outdoor pool. Hence our winter stay still involved a lot of swimming.
Location is perfect with easy access to local shops and eateries but far enough to be away from the hustle.
We had a 3 bedroom water facing unit which has all amenities including washing, dryer, TV with foxtel, dish washed etc.
Will highly recommend and certainly book again ourselves.
