Great spot. Nice little patio. Close to shops that we needed. Watching the lorikeets in the tress at the back at sunset and the spa and pool for a dip, very awesome that was open past 9 pm. We loved our girls weekend with At The Sound! The new owners are so kind and accommodating, provided many great recommendations and tips and were available for help whenever needed. The room was fresh and clean and the whole property felt safe and well cared for. Would absolutely stay again, thank you guys!

The decor is a bit dated, but the condo is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything a traveller needs (including washing machine and dryer). The patio in back of the unit is ringed by well maintained gardens - it’s a lovely spot for morning coffee or afternoon beer. The lakeside trail that begins a block away is good for a run.

1. The floor was wet when we got in the room.. wiped the liquid and seemed to be yellow liquid(?). Unsure what it was but tried not to think about it too much.
2. The airconditioning unit wasnt working. It was set to heating during a 20C night and couldnt be switched to a fan or cooling. The a/c unit was really dirty as well and was blowing dusty air.
3. The room had a slight off smell to it even with the windows open…
Definitely not worth it given the price.

This is a good location if you want to easily access the national park, Hastings St & Noosaville. Bus stop is right outside with regular services for only 50c. Extremely clean with all necessities provided.
You need your own Netflix or Stan account to access movies/shows and sometimes the cable service for this will be intermittently unavailable. The spa is nice - but it’s loud and I think if others are also using theirs the units must run out of hot water which happened a couple of times.

If you want a luxurious experience find somewhere else but this is good if you just want a base from which to explore & want clean & secure.

Just didn’t feel welcome, felt that I was being a nuisance when the aircon didn’t work. Given a page of rules, threatening a $50 fine if we didn’t leave the place tidy after taking out the rubbish and doing the washing up! The vinyl covered sofa was not welcoming either.

Had a lovely stay in Noosa. At the Sound is a great location, about a 30min walk from Hasting St (the main area), or there is a bus stop outside the accommodation which take you all over Noosa. The accommodation was fit for purpose and had everything we needed, it was clean and comfy. The Jacuzzi Bath was a highlight. However, on arrival, there was no one at check in/reception to greet us so we were reliant on the cleaner to show us our room. We also didn't have enough loo roll so had to get that ourselves after asking for it. Other than that, we had a good stay.

Property is located well for visiting Noosa, bus outside or Uber to go to main areas. The apartment was clean enough but as an apartment there were cobwebs in corners and furniture in need of deep clean ie sofabed and chair cushions.

Upon arrival no one was there to check us in, the office was closed and no staff around, waited for about 20 mins before we saw an employee cleaning rooms, who was able to give us the information of what room we were in and that the door was open and key was inside. The room was big and spacious, clean and tidy, but the bathroom window did have a large whole in the screen and with the large amount of spiders all over the property (one massive one specifically right outside our door) that was unsettling. The location was close enough to the beach it was easy to travel bus which came at convenient times and the bus stop was right across from the hotel. The pool area was nice but looked a bit run down, and pool wasn’t overly clean, dirt and leaves in it, but it was warm to swim in. The expectation were high considering it was a 9.0 rating on Expedia, which is not what we experienced unfortunately. Noosa is a beautiful beach town so for the one night stay there was many other perks to this beautiful place, but the hotel was unfortunately bit of a let down.

It’s a motel. So for the price it was quite expensive. I suppose it’s Noosa and the time of the year everything is expensive. But it’s old and quite tired. Was not that walkable to anything. We had two kids with us who needed the pull out couch but that meant there was literally no more room in the apartment. But the main bed was quite comfortable and liked having a kitchen.

We left a note to be contacted but have not yet been contacted regarding this along with a few other things

We had a great stay at 'At the sound'. It was perfectly positioned for both main areas of food and attractions. A car was perfect to have, but it's also very easy to take the bus with stops basically just out the front. Great pool and spa facility.

The hotel was nice and we were excited to stay for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the bed sheets were not clean and clearly not changed from the previous guests. The bed had sand all through it and stains on the sheets. The floors also appear like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Our feet were black from walking on the floor. I would not stay here again purely due to the poor hygiene standard. Really disappointed I paid $326 to stay in a dirty hotel room….

This property is not worth more than 1 star. For the price we paid I expected, cleanliness and great facilities.
We had to ask for the tiled floor to be cleaned as when you went bare foot your feet became filthy. You had to have the doors onto the balcony closed to keep out the traffic noise and then because it was hot put the air conditioner on and that was not great either. This place may have been great 30 years ago but it needs to be pulled down and built again.

I needed a last minute booking up in Noosa close to friends who were staying. I wouldn’t normally book motel style accomodations but I am so glad I did. The location was perfect, directly opposite the bus stop where a bus comes every 10 minutes to loop around Noosa. 5 minute walk to great coffee, 15 min walk to Noosaville shops and 20 min walk into Noosa Heads (Hastings street).
