Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Sounds like a small thing but it made the stay that much more enjoyable. Otherwise you can't go wrong, it's on Hasting Street with a pool and direct beach access. Fronts onto the natural park so quieter than other similar options

It's on the beach however the beach view is extremally limited by mature trees which the property does mention. booking on wotif i'm pretty sure i didn't see the multi story building has no lift, no laundry facilities in your unit and no television in the bedroom. very old building a friend mentioned staying there 30 years ago. no oven. pool area is lovely as are the managers.

Sandcastles is perfectly located down the lovely quiet end of Hastings Street. Amazing location for beach access. Pool and amenities are just what you need for a holiday. There is a bit of noise from the street with bars and restaurants and garbage trucks but this is to be expected for the location. It is not too bad unless you want to go to sleep really early. My toddlers slept through it.

Excellent family stay

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of resort over looking the park.

It was wonderfully set up well to cook meals and relax. It was quiet enough at night down the bottom of Hastings street but wonderful to have direct access to restaurants, shopping and the beach.

We hired beach towels for $4/each and used the free washer and dryer on-site.

The management team were friendly and easily available to help with our queries.

Lovely quiet location at end of Hastings St with big trees and grass area in front with sea behind. We booked a two bed apartment but second room you need to climb up a very narrow upright ladder. At top to the loft you have to crawl onto landing so you could not hit your head. Very dangerous if children are allowed there. No lift either so many flights of stairs to climb with luggage many times. Otherwise love the pool and position.

Quiet position between beach and park . Really lovely out look. Rooms were nice bed comfy .
Pool was great got lots of sun . Direct access to the beach . We were there at Xmas so only small downside was a bit of noise from restaurants across the road in Hastings st. But didn’t go too late .

Fantastic location but the unit (number 8) was incredibly disappointing. After the initial FULL payment the resort tried to take the payment out of my credit card again two days later. When we arrived for out stay the apartment was dirty, there was sand in the bed, the blind in the bedroom would not close fully, the cistern on the toilet was broken, the shower constantly leaked, we were made to feel like it was a \"privilege\" when we asked for clean towels the next day, the tea towel was dirty, the cutlery and glassware was a mix of about 5 different sets and the apartment was old, tired and not as advertised when booked. Then, to add insult to injury, there was another attempt to charge my credit card for the full booking amount again an hour after we left the resort. Would never stay here again and feel cheated and ripped off.

stairs inside the property not fit for young children, dangerous and there is a gap between top banister and rail this could lead to a small child falling through, property was dated. Air conditioning could not be moderated too hot upstairs and too cool downstairs. Best thing about the property was locality and friendliness of management.

Comfortable accommodation right by the beach

This was our first time to Noosa and we were very happy with the location and accommodation. Sandcastles is located at the quiet end of Hastings St with beautiful walking tracks right next door and the beach right at our doorstep.

This property is right on the beach and has a lovely pool.
The interior is dated and only has very basic facilities, however it is comfortable. The bed and lounge furniture are all good quality but the bathroom is in need of a renovation.
The thick louvred blinds in the living area of our apartment are awful as they block light and what would have been a pleasant view. The lighting generally is poor and the unit is dark during the day. The management are very helpful and the unit was ver clean. It really just needs an upgrade.

Beautiful location clean and comfortable and very quiet although a bit dark inside. People coming in late at night made noise the stairs . Management had posted signs asking guests to be quiet on the stairs though. We happily would stay at sandcastles again although ask for an apartment with more light.

Fabulous apartment, 3 friends staying we had the one bedroom loft on the top floor. Wonderful amenities, everything close by. The only thing was the single beds in the loft are a little short. Lucky we are too !

Great but... completely self service

It was a good experience and the management were great but we didn't realise there was no service at all. i.e. towels, cleaning, anything... which would be ok for some people but not when you're trying to organise a wedding.

Close to everything

Great place to stay on Hastings St in Noosa but we stayed in room 17 and all night we could hear a exhaust fan running or an air con unit. Even after we closed both the bathroom door we could still hear it going.

Staff were fantastic and pleasant to deal with, the unit was very spacious clean and tidy, also the bed was quite comfy and the pillows weren't to bad either.

Winter Break in Noosa

Sandcastles is a 4 star lodging and is well located on the quieter end of Hasting Street. Beach access is directly from the complex pool area. It is a clean and well maintained with the apartment we stayed in having a new toilet and bathroom. The pool is clean and heated which is essential for this time of year and the spa is great. Reception are very courteous and looked after any request we had promptly. Only minor complaint is some of the bed pillows need upgrading.
