Great location right on Hastings St so close to shops and across the road from the beach. 2 brm apartment spacious and comfortable but a bit tired and dark. At the rear so woken each morning at 5am by the rubbish truck. Pool is in the centre surrounded by buildings so not a nice setting to look at, better to go to beach.

The first two days at the resort was particularly noisy due to construction work happening beneath us and we found it really hard to relax and unwind. We went to reception and let them know our concerns and they were fantastic. Moving us to a quieter location so that we could enjoy our time there. After the move it was excellent. Staff were super friendly and helpful at all times. The convenience of being on Hastings Street in the heart of everything and a minute walk to the beach was fantastic. Apartments were huge and felt like a home away from home.

The room we were put in was like a cave. It was dark, needing lights on at all times including through the day and it was very cold as it did not get any sunshine at all. This meant we needed to use the air conditioner, which on the first night was impossible as the remote was not working.
While we were there, we were NOT informed about any maintenance that may be happening around the pool area and they were painting for 3 of the days which made it very uncomfortable sitting by the pool as the paint fumes were very strong.

Position, position, position. Right in the centre of everything Noosa has to offer. Great premises, all amenities but maintenance and upkeep needs to be improved. Internet is terrible and very unreliable. There is no excuse for this with Starlink now available if the NBN is not up to it. We were able to use 4 and 5G on our phone.

The Emerald is in the perfect location for great walking accessibility to all that Noosa has offer on Hastings Street, main beach & national park.

The Emerald is in a fabulous location on Hastings St where you can leave the car in the secure on site garage and walk everywhere. Apartment 9 was well equipped and very comfortable for 5 people, but being at the front of the block, above the restaurant and overlooking the public carpark, it was very noisy at night and from early morning.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, a minor maintenance issue was fixed quickly and easily.
I would stay again but request an apartment at the back of the block, on the inside of the complex.

The place is getting tired and needs an update. It hasn’t changed in 9 years since we were last here. Other than being close to the beach and right on Hastings St, the property failed. It was so loud, especially in the Diamond tower (in the courtyard above the pool). Stay away from unit 17. Note that every morning at 5am, the pool heating and/or pump system within the wall in this tower would disrupt the family’s sleep. Front end personnel wouldn’t even acknowledge us as we past by or even say hello. Unfortunately, they would not entertain our request to move suites either. Disappointing.

Great location. Was not too noisy at night, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cutlery. Ground floor 2 bed apartment was large, though not the most private with the lounge and ajoining outdoor area in direct view of the public carpark and thoroughfare. The cleanliness inside the apartment was pretty average (but not unexpected) but common areas in the complex were spotless and well maintained. Pool was fantastic and heated and very clean. Spa was nice and hot. Sauna was available however needed to get a key from reception to use so didn't bother. Had a spider infestation where hundreds of baby spiders were flowing out of the cracks and powerpoint and were congregating on the walls and ceiling around the dining table. I resolved this by vacuuming them up as I saw them and after 2 days of vigilant vaccuming they were mostly gone. It is one of those places where you need to clean and pack the dishes and put the bins out before check out otherwise you may be liable for a clean up fee. Extra towels, detergents, toiletries, toilet paper etc can be had for additional cost when you run out of the initially provided supplies. You may want to bring your own if that annoys you.

However we were so disappointed that the blinds in (2 of them) in the main bedroom was faulty and did not close. Meaning we had no privacy and the light went in the room causing lack of sleep. When this was mentioned to the staff, unfortunately nothing could be done .

Pretty good location. No internet was available at the time we stayed. A unit was being refurbished on our floor so we had paint fumes drilling and hammering during our stay. It was not mentioned at check in that this would begin the next day. No apology was made to us. Our apartment was large and well appointed although was looking a little tied. You couldn’t use the balcony because of the noise from the street and the restaurant below.

This hotel is in a good location. Central to everything the beach is right across the street with easy access. The pool is tucked under part of a building like a cheap hotel indoor pool as such it is not inviting and not that usable. If you like discount airlines that nickel and dime you for everything you will love this hotel. Need beach towels, that will be $5 each, need extra towels another $5 each. Even toilet paper must be a profit center for the Emerald because they charge you $1 if you need another roll.

Fantastic location! Close to everything and nice to have garage parking. Biggest annoyance- only getting 2 towels for 2 people for 5 days with no service in between was pitiful. I don’t think it would cost that much to increase the number!

We stayed in unit 13 and it was a ground floor next to the lift and common walkway. Unfortunately the unit backs onto the Main car park so you have to keep all the blinds down as there is no privacy through the slats people can see straight through to your apartment, which often made the stay feel dark as we could not let in natural light in. It was also quite noisy with people coming and going at the main lifts right outside our door.
We have stayed before and would consider coming back but will be checking which apartment we are given next time to ensure a more pleasant stay as the location is fantastic on hasting street.

When I rang for information before booking, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was big, clean, and well maintained. It pretty much had everything we needed! My only minor suggestions to improve the experience would be providing another 1 or 2 toilet rolls, detergent, dishwasher powder, washing machine powder (for the very little that it would cost you it would make a guest's stay so much easier). Pool towels would be fab too. We had an excellent stay and were all very happy with our apartment. The pool area was super clean and gardens/grounds immaculate. On departure though we asked the receptionist to hold our luggage for the day as our flight wasn't until 7.30pm and she wasn't very happy about this. That was a bit disappointing. She held it for us though.

Apartment was also quite warm even at this time of year. Would get very hot during summer without A/C on all the time. Our balcony door did not lock and also did not appreciate having to hire beach towels at $5 each.

It’s 1AM in beautiful Noosa. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. The sound of footsteps across the pebbles below the bedroom window. British backpackers, chatting as they start to urinate against the building wall. Then they start a sword fight, laughing riotously as urine splashes everywhere. They run away, chasing each other with fly’s still unzipped.
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. It’s now 1:30AM, and it is the turn of the Irish. Three of them this time, carrying on with the usual craic as they unzip. One trips over as they stagger away, the others laughing with great merriment. Welcome to a Platinum room at The Emerald Noosa.
Room 37 is a lovely room. Modern furnishings, well appointed, comfortable beds. However, the lounges are uncomfortable, and the room is dark. And it faces on to the roundabout on Noosa Parade, the busiest street in Noosa.
The noise starts at 6AM, when the garbage trucks start collecting the commercial garbage, right outside the window. Three trucks before 6:30 AM, seven days a week.
From then on, it is the buses. Stopping at the roundabout, they accelerate away, diesel engines roaring. The line of cars is a constant companion, all day. Every day. Squealing brakes. Revving engines. Close your eyes and you could be at any motor racing venue in the world.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. It’s now 1:30AM, and it is the turn of the Irish. Three of them this time, carrying on with the usual craic as they unzip. One trips over as they stagger away, the others laughing with great merriment. Welcome to a Platinum room at The Emerald Noosa.
Room 37 is a lovely room. Modern furnishings, well appointed, comfortable beds. However, the lounges are uncomfortable, and the room is dark. And it faces on to the roundabout on Noosa Parade, the busiest street in Noosa.
The noise starts at 6AM, when the garbage trucks start collecting the commercial garbage, right outside the window. Three trucks before 6:30 AM, seven days a week.
From then on, it is the buses. Stopping at the roundabout, they accelerate away, diesel engines roaring. The line of cars is a constant companion, all day. Every day. Squealing brakes. Revving engines. Close your eyes and you could be at any motor racing venue in the world.
But you are not. You are in a Platinum Room at The Emerald Resort in beautiful Noosa.

We stayed for a week in early September and enjoyed the spacious, clean and well appointed two bedroom apartment. Our apartment was located in one of the tower blocks closest to Hastings street, overlooking shops and a restaurant. Unfortunately, this proximity to the street exposed us to late night/early morning noise from drunken revelers on a couple occasions. We would stay in this resort again but would not use one of the apartments close to Hastings street. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently helpful and pleasant to deal with.
